P.S.  Do you want to get 8 workouts from some of the top trainers in the industry for less than $15?  My good friends Lewis & Sarah from AtoZFitness.com are currently running a huge sale on their Total Body Makeover Plan including some awesome workouts from a slew of “top trainers”!  These workouts normally go for $45, but until the offer gets taken down in just a couple days, you can grab all 8 for a third of that price – $14.95.  Check it out at http://www.AtoZTopTrainers.com

hey Joel my favourite post had to be “What Can Rocky IV Teach You?”, just because it is really easy to forget why we’re in the gym when things get repetitive. The post was a good reminder to myself why it is that I need to be in the gym. I’ve come so far from when i started but like you said, it brought out renewed focus. thnx

My favorite post was ” Late Night Eating: DO IT”. I used to go by the code of not eating after 7-8 o’clock. Not anymore, now I actually have a casein protein shake before bed and usually another meal a couple hours before that, but after 8 o’clock. It was good to hear though that I can eat that late without worrying about storing fat.

Hi Joel
My favourite post was “Take a breath”. I am usually someone who stress very quickly, and sometimes I just forget to breath. Thanx :)

Hi Joel
I am just starting to be able to work my body after years of cronic breathing problems, polymialgia and arthritis so I am exploring the ways I can workout on my home gym without pushing my body too far too fast. I started with Jon’s 7 minute muscle and then have been trying your super sets. I am getting away with everything so far as long as I keep the weight just low enough I do not stress those joints too much and for too long. I know I am gaining muscle I have never had before in my 62 years. I am also gradually changing my diet to reduce and eventually eliminate simple carbs. So far so good. Thank ou for all your information and encourgement.
Cheers
John

I’ve got to agree with the Rocky IV post (even if Rocky III was my favorite, haha). But then again, they’re all inspirational. i’d watch Rocky XX if they made it.

My favorite post was “Coldplay and Stuffed French Toast” – not because of the recipe but because of the artificial sweetener “drama” – can’t wait for an entire blog post devoted to it

Thanks for all that free information Joel! My favorite post was definitley the one about breathing technique. I was able to use it twice to calm down in stressfull situations. Furthermore, I gave the link to my girlfriend and she liked it too.

My favorite post was “Are Body-fat Scales Useless” because my scale used to drive me crazy until I red it and find out that inaccurate readings are common.

3 Intelligent ways to use failure in your training was my fav. I esp like the idea of incorporating scheduled periods of full-blown failure into your workouts to shock the body.

My favorite is “Are Body Fat Scales Useless?”. Learning about when your water level is at the most ocnstant and not to measure too much, twice a week at most. Also the bioelectrical impedance basics were mind opening.
Thank you very much!!…..Joe

I really loved the post on late night eating. Sometimes I go to bed so excited about breakfast because I’m just that hungry. I’ll even dream about food. So your permission to eat and your practical advice on what to eat was so helpful. Thanks Joel!

Hello Joel. My favorite was “Are body fat scales useless.” I have always had a high body fat reading, and it was interesting to read about those scales. Please keep the useful information coming. Thank you.

Ji Joel!

My favorite was are body fat scales useless. I’ve got ordinary scales and
although I’m addicted to them I think all scales are useless and feel much better whenever my tight jeans fit loosely.

hey Joel
I would have to say that my favourite post had to be “What Can Rocky IV Teach You?” First off I agree that it is by far the best Rocky…I don’t know how many times I have watched it and was ready the next minute to get back to work. To be that guy who pushes himself to the extremes to get the job done…sorry flash back to the training section of the movie. I guess the post just really defined why we do what we do and why we push ourselves day in and day out. I mean come on with out motivation we are just going through the motions, and I see that all to often at the gym. But thanks for the comments, suggestions, and especially motivation you have given all of us through your posts it is appreciated greatly. Keep up the good work and can not wait for your next gem of info.

My favorite was the stuffed french toast post because the comments started some discussion, and that’s how we learn.

My favorite was the one about when do you terminate your sets. This is something I screwed up for a long time and am glad you wrote about it to let more people know you don’t have to kill yourself with sets and reps and failure day in and day out to get results.

As a mum to a four yr old and four month old my top blogs were the Super Supersets (because I need my workout fix and am sorely time restricted!) and the Take a Deep breath because things are pretty chaotic around here and I get little “time out” to rationalise things!!. Both blogs have been a godsend for me. Would love you to continue updating us with your actual training programs, I find it very motivating and inspiring.

Hi Joel,

Just want to say keep up the good work and I like what you did with the blog – not only for information but interactive purposes.

I seldom see people give personal attention to the comments on their blog like you did.

Hey Joel

Thanks for all the great info you’ve given me over the years. I was one of your test subjects on your Cheaters Diet and I just want to say thanks again for everything you’ve given me and the changes in my life you’ve helped me make. Keep up the great work.
Also want to make a comment on your best post of the month. My favourite had to be Are body-fat scales Useless. I’ve had one for over a year and had the same problems with readings being all over the place. Your information helped me realize what was going on and how to get the most accurate readings. Thanks for everything.

What can Rocky IV teach you was my choice for best, I just took over a High School Football Program this year that has gone 0-20 the past two years. Motivation is what drove me and this young team to the playoffs. Chats the past 2 years of you suck from the opposing fans was motivation to get revenge. I am 50 years old and have dropped from 330 pounds to 280 and have been working out in the gym 6 days a week, I have my guys lifting heavy and together we are striving to get bigger and stronger and better. My whole coaching staff of 11 guys some of us out of shape and fat are committed to getting in better shape. I reach as much of your stuff as I can and every motivational tip I can get to use on myself and my kids just help to reinforce what it takes to get to the next level. I will continue to inhale every bit of information you post and share it with everyone of my guys. thanks for all you do, keep it up, there are those of us out here who really need your advice and support.
