I have always struggled with my weight, even as a high school student my weight was a problem. I had to lose 20 pounds just to get into the service before I graduated from school and then try to maintain my weight while I was in the Air Force. I am a corrections officer and being in shape would be very beneficial for me. I recently retired from the Army Reserves and I want to get to my proper weight for height which is around 145. I have been trying to lose weight since the start of this year and I have lost 27 pounds, but I can’t seem to get much farther then 162. Please help me help myself to meet and keep my goal for a better and healthy life. Thanks for the chance to win.

I have not tried anything. I am 49years old. As a result of my obesity I have diabetes, high blood pressure, and depression. My doctor has informed me that if I don’t lose some weight, I am a perfect candidate for a heart attack. He said that if I would lose at least 60 lbs I probably could be taken off almost all of my medications. My new found motivation is my daughter is getting married on July 31, 2010. I need help and after careful evaluation of other products and fad diets, your program makes the most sense to me. I am 5’9” and I weigh 305 lbs. Joel, please help me save my life and change my life.

Over the years I have been on many “diets”. Lost weight and gained it back. And with each next attempt it has become harder and harder to lose the weight. I am now ready for a life change. Although I am watching what I eat, and exercising (cardio and strength training) 6-7 days a week, I see less and less results. I am ready for a well researched plan that will help me with my goals. I have been “dieting” for the last decade and I failed. I have tried everything, from conventional wisdom to new-agey vegetarian nonsense. I have been on a diet now for about 16 months and lost about 25 kgs, but at the moment, I am at a standstill and have put on a couple of kgs.
I now need to try something different to get me motivated. My husband and daughters weigh my food every night, but I am addicted to chocolate.
Losing weight has been a wonderful experience, the things you can do and the clothes you can buy is great now size 16 compared to a 24, I have lost about 32kgs to date over 3 years, but I have about another 15 to go.

I have been lifting and trying to eat right for the past few years and I can’t seem to get the last few pounds to really define my body. This program from all that I have read so far seems to take all the different aspects of being healthy and puts them together the most effecient way. Being a junior in college has made me realize that this is very important in everything you do if you want to achieve the best results possible. Hi Joel,

It has taken me 2 1/2 years to lose most of my weight from pregnancy. I am still holding on to the last 5kg and tummy fat. I get depressed a lot due to this and have even be asked if I am pregnant again (also by a 4 year old friend of my daughter!!). I am sick and tired of having to chose clothes that will hide my tummy.

People have told me that I shouldn’t base most of my confidence around “my tummy”. But that is just how I feel. I even went to see a plastic surgeon … but then figured there had to be a better way. First of all, thank you Joel for the opportunity to win your Xtreme Fat Loss program for free! This is so exciting! I turn 48 this year. I am a wife of 22 yrs. and a mother of 2 sons. I am 5’10”, med. bone, and have reached an all new high for me in weight this year at 200 lbs. I never had a real problem with losing weight until these past few years. Your program is the only one I have come across that is sensible in that it addresses the fact you must increase muscle mass to burn excess fat. I also, like that you removed the guilt that comes from eating foods with higher fat content by allowing cheat days. It is a realistic approach. Being a health coach and furthering my studies in nutrition, etc., I know this to be true. I’ve been following the Fat Burning Furnace system for about 4 months. And the results were ok – I’m a need to see results right now, kind of person. So, Ok, was starting to get on my nerves. Then I injured my knees a few weeks back and had to stop working out. I stayed with the Fat Burning Plan, but only to gain back 8lbs. I need a jump start that will kick this butt in gear. For the first time in my life I’m starting to feel good about my body, but this injury set-back is making me doubt myself again.

Like a lot of other people I have lost and gained for years. In 2006 I had by-pass surgery and lost some weight… was looking a lot better. Then in 2008 Mom died and that was so hard on me that I went through a time of not wanting to go anywhere or do anything, that I gained a bunch back and now it’s the hardest thing in the world to lose. I eat my three meals a day and yes, once in a while I take a cookie or some chocolate but I know how to portion my plate as I’m diabetic too and have other health issues. I’ve got really bad knees and just finished having the artery in my right leg unblocked. That’s where I fail.. I don’t move my body around enough. I’m frustrated and would love to lose and be healthy!

Joel, I need your help – I am at a plateau and the pounds are not coming off anymore. I have made dietary changes and I exercise daily, but my 5 mile runs aren’t doing anything for the pudge. I need some more help with doing the right exercises, weights, and what I need to fix in my diet to get the body I want. I’m motivated but a little lost. I need your direction.

Please help. I’ve been overweight for too long. I exercise regularly with intervals and sports (basketball, tennis and squash) but my diet is not good. I’m probably one of the fittest fat people you’ll meet! However, I need to lose more than 25 pounds to be healthy and in better shape…I could do with losing about 60 to be very healthy.

I am a medical doctor and aware of the types of food i should eat to lose weight….but I struggle. I struggle with the amounts I eat, as well as the types of food I eat. I’m intrigued by the idea of calorie restriction and cheat days, as I think I could fit into this model with days where I eat less and days where I eat more. I do this unintentionally already but I guess the pattern is the one bit I get wrong, with when to eat ess and more.

I would love to use your program and know how you structure the calorie restrictions vs cheat to see how this would impact on my weight. I’d be glad to report back to let you know how I’m doing if that is helpful. I want to get much more lean and think you’re program would be ideal for me as there are days when I can control my eating and days when I get to eat pizza!! If I can do that, and lose lots of weight, I’ll be a fan of yours forever.

As I read your program these last few days, things were starting to make a lot of sense. I have been on several diets and as most worked for a short while, I would then plateau or would get bored and gain it back plus some. In the meantime, I know now that I have screwed up my metabolism. One of the great things about your program and that it helps with what several women (of course me included) are struggling with, their hormones and screwed up metabolisms from all the different diet attempts and body changes through lilfe. I know that learning your program would help me get back on track, learn the workouts to do and when and would keep me from getting bored with all the “healthy” eating monotony by allowing and even encouraging a “cheat” day. It seems to be everything I need to learn how to do it right and FAST. I will be doing this for my health (heart problems and diabetes run in my family) and to get my self esteem confidence back (if I can’t love myself, how can I expect and let someone else to love me). I have finally made the decision to change my body for the better. Actually when I say ‘body’ I mean ‘life style’. I have started doing EFT which is tapping certain pressure points to overcome any blocks to do with loosing weight and looking good but I need further direction with a nutritional and training plan. Years ago when I was slim I always thought it would be easy to loose weight but I realize it requires quite a bit of effort. I am sick of saying to myself I will start eating better tomorrow. Everyone says you need to be accountable to someone to get results like a personal trainer. I want that someone to be myself for a change.

I am 44 yrs old am 5 stones overweight . I have tried so many diets promising miracles over the yrs . I have been to the gym taken every class , run for hrs on treadmills. Still nothing seems to work for long now is the time for drastic action . I have little confidence left and am miserable which makes the people I love the same .

The reason I believe that this program is for me is because I have tried other programs before and in the beginning I get great results but seem to plateau 3 to 4 month into the program.
