I started a desk job a little over 11 years ago, and have since put on 30+ pounds! I’m very frustrated, and feel horrible. Country first. That’s the short of it. The long version would be country, wife, daughter, God, family, soldiers, friends…all before self. For the last 23 years my husband has been protecting our freedom and serving others. As a member of the Army Special Forces, Terry has always been in top physical condition. Exercise is a way of life for us, along with nutritious meals.

Terry returned from his last trip to Iraq late January. He took an office position to be home for our family, and to care for his elderly parents. Fortunately, this decision allowed him to be home for the last few months of his fathers life. In January we both stopped working out because we needed to put his parents first. The stress of his last deployment, his ill parents, and the death of his father left us both with adrenal fatigue and minor thyroid problems. We’re now out of shape and our pants don’t fit!

We’re a team that’s committed to get back in shape now! We know how to work out hard and give it our all. We’ve started our old routine of waking at 5 am to do your workouts. Wow-what a burn! We can’t wait to get back to our fit 10% body fat

I have recently auditioned and consequently recieved a place at the most prestigious Television Acting School in the UK that will enable me to find popular television roles within the next 12months-2 years. I have reached my Plateau in my weight training in which i have carried out religiously over the past 3 years – 1hr workouts. Now with the help of your 1000 cal workout I would like to breakthrough my playeau and start achieving optimal results in order to gain an edge over the other male actors in such a competitive industry. :)

I have an underactive thyroid, and take medication daily. Every program I have tried does not help me lose the weight I gained before this was diagnosed. This program would help me to finally lose the extra weight, feel better, and gain more confidence. I’d LOVE to finally get rid of my ‘fat’ clothes.

I believe that this will benefit me best because nowadays, i barely have time to go to gyms to workout because of my job(s). I’m certain that this will work because now i can do this in the privacy of my home. It’ll be most gracious if I were the lucky winner.

Being a 22 year old 2nd year University student, balancing gym and academics is a challenge. Arnel, Your workouts (16 Weeks to Six-Pack Abs, and the workouts on http://www.womensworkoutguide.com) are my favorite workout programs (and I’ve tried quite a few so far [Turbulence Training, CrossFit, Vince DelMonte etc.] – It was through those workouts that I first discovered the “magical” effects of supersets – And now there are trisets!!! –> even better!

And Joel, I’ve read quite a lot about your “Cheat your way thin” program – I’ve followed some meal plans from Empowered Nutrition for the last couple months and I’m pleased with the results but your cheat days sound quite intriguing.

Yes, I have been thinking about it but I haven’t been DOING much for it because I always felt like it’s such a hassle to live a healthy life. You have to cook, you have to go to the gym, you have to count the calories and still, you might not get the results. I started a life change zillion times. I made nice plans and couldn’t get through the first day without breaking them because I didn’t have the proven system that I knew would work for me.
You have many good examples here and they’re great to read. It must be an awesome feedback to you to see all those people overcoming their obstacles and succeed. I’d love to be one of them.

I had a brain aneurysm in 2004, and I am looking for some program that I could get in shape with without a lot of heavy lifting because my doctor doesn’t want to to get into a intense weight lifting regime like I used to do. I am an 18 year old rugby player from England, and am currently injured for what look likes around 5 months with a pretty bad calf tear, first sustained whilst climbing Mt Kilimanjaro in the summer just gone.
As someone who is trying to push to turn pro, I have been using the workouts provided as part of my rehab to make sure that when i return i will be fitter and stronger than when i left.
