Welcome to the “Inside”!

Posted by Joel Marion

You are now officially part of the best body-changing website on the internet!

Below are a few suggestions to help you get started with the blog and ensure you get the most of out of the Body Transformation Insider experience:

1.  Go ahead and get yourself a Gravatar at Gravatar.com.  Gravatars or “globally recognized avatars” are the little pictures that you see next to comments posted on the site.  They give your comments personality (and you should be commenting!) and help to identify you around the site.  For your Gravatar, you can choose a headshot, the logo of your favorite sports team, or just about anything else you’d like (just keep it G-rated, please :-)).

One cool thing about Gravatars is that they are recognized on literally thousands of blogs and websites across the web, so once you have one, you’re set!

2.  If you haven’t already done so, download my FREE 17-page Fat Loss Secrets Exposed special report at the top of the page.  In this report, I give you six of the best fat loss strategies that have been responsible for literally shedding thousands of pounds from my clients trouble spots.  You definitely don’t want to miss this information as having it will put you ahead of 99.9% of other people trying to drop unwanted body fat-guaranteed.

3.  I’m all about interacting with and getting to know my readers.  One of the best ways to do this is through various social networks like Facebook and Twitter.  On Twitter, you can keep up to date with everything I’m doing and working on, interact with me, and get even more fat-loss tips and strategies.  And on Facebook, well, you all know how Facebook works!

Click here to follow me on Twitter.

And here to friend me on Facebook.

4.  If you’d like to know more about me, read this page.

5.  Get involved!  I want you to comment and become part of what we’re doing at BodyTransformationInsider.com!  Go through the posts, introduce yourself, and share your thoughts, questions, and input.  The more you interact, the more this site will benefit you and the more likely you will be to succeed at achieving your goals.

6.  Lastly, I’d love it if you’d do me a favor.  Under each post, we have a “social sharing” widget that allows you to share the content of the site with others via Facebook, Twitter, email, and a ton of other social bookmarking sites like Stubleupon and Technorati just to name a few.

If you enjoy a post, you can really help my efforts (Body Transformation Insider is a one-man operation) by using this widget to easily share this site with your friends.  Post it to your Facebook newsfeed, send a tweet to your followers on Twitter, or simply use the “email” function to send the post to your contacts.

My goal is to reach more than 1,000,000 people for fitness this year, and with your help, I know we can blow right past that number.

Simply put, the more people we get to the site, the more people we can help, and together, we’re sure to be unstoppable!

Alright, so this is what I’d like you to do right now:

1.  Post a comment below and let me know what you think about the site!  Also, would love it if you would take a minute to introduce yourself.

2.  Share, share, share!  Use the below widget to share this site with your email contacts, Facebook friends, Twitter followers, or any other social site you belong to!  With our sharing tool, it literally takes just a click of a button.  Thanks in advance for taking just a few seconds to share what we’re doing with your friends!

Talk to you soon!

Joel

Hi Joel:

Attractive and informative site. you’re reaching me in Malta. I’m retired (I don’t really like that word, I prefer ‘in transition’), will be 71 in early March. Keep in good shape by going to the gym six days a week. Accessing and applying learning and new ideas occupies part of my day. Your sharing will form part of that time. THANKS.

Exciting to see so many people from so many different backgrounds and age brackets! I actually currently am working with 3 clients in their 70’s and it’s awesome to see people absolutely thriving with energy and focus during a time when so many others are in such poor health!

Keep up the great work!

Hi Joel,
I am a mom of 4 (hense my name) and I love nutrition and working out. I am in pretty good shape, but want to be in great shape. As you can imagine I am busy, in addition to raising 4 kids I also work part time and attend college part time. We are an active family and spend weeks (if not months) on the lake each summer. I am very interested in clean eating as well (although I have my moments of unhealthy eating). I will start your resistance training today and will add some high intensity interval training with it. I have done Fit yummy Mummy on and of for a while, but wanted to try something differnt. I have been taking ProGrades EFA’s and Womens +24 vitamins for about a year and LOVE them. Your website is helpfull and has a lot of good info.
Thanks,
Momx4

Hi Joel and fellow members!

Former 200+ pound lady here, 46 years old [as of 2/25/09], and now a fitness transformation-in-process. Muscles rule!

My fellow AM-gym buddies were shocked to find out that I was turning 46. Some know that at my heaviest I was 200+ lbs. [I stopped weighing myself when I saw the 200 lb. mark, but I KNOW that I topped that number!]

I got down to 105 lbs., but was one of those “skinny fat people” too, and practically starved to stay that thin, plus had NO muscle tone. Unfortunately, I yo-yo’ed for years afterward, and developed anorexia and bulimia. My weight eventually settled around 125-135 lbs.

I have almost 7 years of recovery now, and fitness has become a LIFESTYLE. I am even off anti-depressants! Woohoo! I added “serious” weight training to my regiment in ’05, and kicked it up another notch in ’07. The change in my body has been amazing. My hubby is my biggest cheerleader, and full of encouragement. I moved to the North Country/Adirondacks in NY in ’07, and put on some post newlywed weight, reaching 145. I began a healthy regiment of exercise and “eating clean” once I settled into my new home and marriage, and slimmed down to 120 lbs. With the weight training, I gained 10 lbs of muscle; the funny thing is that I look slimmer than what I did when I was “skinny-fat”. Most people assume that I weigh at least 15 lbs. less than what I actually do! I now fluctuate between 125-132 lbs.

I often tell the “Nay-sayers” ladies when they balk at my weight training:
“Imagine 10 lbs of feathers and how much room they take up stuffed into a
pair of pantyhose, and then imagine 10 lbs. of lead marbles and how much
room they take up in the same pair of hose….tight is nice!” :^)

Best wishes with your new site, and keep up the great work!

Myra

PS: I actually eat MORE than my I ever have, even more than the hubby!

hey joel,

Great website. I used your “cheat to lose diet” before the book came out with great success! I think I’m going to use it again with Thibs 12 week get jacked fast program. What are your thoughts on the decision. Thanks

Hey Joel,
The website looks great! I’ve followed your career for years now and you’ve always been the front runner in the fitness industry when it comes to that fine balance between proper training philosophies and balanced nutrition. Keep up the great work my friend.
