This year, I realised I was now nearer 50 than 40, weighed just over 200 pounds, and was getting breathless just performing simple tasks. I know I am unfit, and read more and more about being unfit and being obese leading to heart disease, diabetes, cancer and other life threatening health problems. A cousin the same age as me as just been diagnosed with breast cancer, and will be having her breast removed within the next week. This is all terrifying. I know I need to turn my life around or I may well not live beyond middle age. I want to enjoy being middle aged, and look forward to a long and healthy retirement, and I think Vince’s program is the way forward to a healthy programme for life. I have had my wake up call, and am now ready for action.
I’ve been reading the posts and I must say…I don’t know how you will pick a winner. There are so many wonderful posts, some odd ones too, but all in all people seem genuine in their desires to create better lives for themselves. I so would have loved a copy, but both hubby and I are out of job’s and this happing just before Christmas. We are turning cents around so carefully and praying that our good Lord will provide Jaco with a job soon. I have had 17 ops after 3 accidents and a bad fall down 12 stairs at work and was laid off due to me passing out doing the job I was, so have had to become a housewife and have to be so careful with my weight due to 2 back ops. I DESERVE THIS because I have made numerous sacrifices in my thirty odd years of life to maintain a healthy body, mind, and soul. I come from a long history of illnesses in my family: my Dad died unnecessarily of a massive heart attack, my Mom just finished 12 rounds of chemo and is diabetic, my brother is on 3 types of medicines for blood pressure, etc., etc. I am always searching for any information that will help keep me healthy and help me help my family become healthy. I am also a personal trainer and a nutritional consultant, and I would use this on my client’s to help them gain a better understanding and become the best that they can be.

I’m not really sure how you will pick the winner. If it based on what is said in the blog, then I know for sure I will not win. I would like to say however, that if I was picked I will prove to everyone how well this systems works by putting it to work.
Simply put, I intend on being in the best shape of my life. I am 39 years old and have had some recent upheavals in my life which leaves me with a new lease on life and I have taken stock of whats important to me. #1 is my health! I have never thought much about my health or my body. I was young and mostly slender but my body was still unhealthy. Abd fat mostly. My mom once said when I was in high school “for an awfully thin girl, you have a lot of flab”. I have dedicated my life to eating healthy, getting rid of the unhealthy fat, and getting my body into the best shape of my life. I realize that my life is special and I want to feel better in my forties than I did in my twenties. Your website gives me great tips that help keep me on my new life plan and Vinces DVDs would be a great addition to help me attain my goal.
I have tried every program out there and have achieved some success, however, the trouble always begins when the initial motivation to “abstain” from my favourite foods wears out. I know that Joel’s program is around allowing those favourite foods – in a rewarding way – so that they can still be included in his program but the program also works to reorient my relationship with those foods so that they don’t dominate my thinking while trying to achieve my goals of losing fat and getting strong and lean. The dvd program would help me reach my goals. In addition, my husband would really benefit from some structure around his eating and working out so it would be a double benefit in our house.

I am a 55 year old woman who did not discover fitness until age 49. After a few years trying different things, I discovered Turbulence Training, and my workouts began to get effective, intense and regular, and I began to feel strong for the first time in my life. I lost about 20 pounds, but the last 15 just wouldn’t budge. I was absolutely intrigued by Cheat Your Way Thin. Not only did it make sense- the whole protecting your metabolism part- the idea that I actually needed to enjoy my favorite non-diet foods once a week on my cheat day was psychologically satisfying. In fact, I would say that my first cheat day (after Thanksgiving) was delightful, and the thought that there was another one right around the corner gives me the will power to say no to the foods that I need to say no to. I would use these programs to continue my pursuit of better health in my 50’s and on than I had in my youth.
I’m 22 years old and have been working out for 5 or so years and made some progress. However, now I seem to have hit a plateou, so while I’m pretty pumped I’m still covered with a layer of fat which I have been unable to lose. Joel, I love your program it is a ‘diet’ that works and I can see that it is something I will be able to stick to for… well forever because I do not feel deprived and if I ever do there is always a cheat day to look forward to. I have been strictly sticking to the CYWT holiday program for about a week and a half and exercising more than I ever have in my life (my friends are even telling me I’m doing ‘to much’!). I’ve been trying to do interval training in the morning then an hour or longer walk later in the day with some sit-ups/crunches if I have energy leftover! The problem is my first weeks measurements – I have PUT ON WEIGHT! Nothing will stop me persisting to get the body of my dreams and I know it will happen but I think the different type of training on Vince’s DVDs is what I need to get the fat burning and not only lose fat but tone my body because it is not the number that is important but what my body looks like that is my goal. As I said nothing is going to stop me getting the body of my dreams but I believe this package can help guide me in the right direction rather than trying to find my way by blindly experimenting at the gym.

I believe that I should win the DVD set because I would definitely use it faithfully. I have been overweight my whole life & have tried many diets – even went on Medifast once. Yes, I lost weight & according to the scale my weight was just fine, but I was still way to flabby in all the same places. Not to mention that I put all the weight back on within a few years. Currently, I am down about 25 lbs. with about 50 to go. I want to make sure that when I reach my goal weight, that I don’t still have all that jiggling going on like every other time. I firmly believe that your nutrition plan along with Vince’s workouts is just the ticket. Also, I am currently unemployed (don’t worry, this isn’t about the $$) & I believe that my weight has been interfering in my quest for a new job. I met Elliott Hulse at a seminar, have followed him which ultimately led me to you and the CYWT program. After 4 years in business things are great, EXCEPT for my personal workouts and diets-focusing all my time on clients left me struggling to keep up myself with no one to be held accountable to. Being a 49 y.o. firefighter (25 + years) & entering the twilight of my career, it gets more & more difficult to keep up with the youngsters. What I’ve been doing in the past, to keep in shape, is producing less & less of the desired outcome. It is my goal to make my last years in the fire service as good or better than the rest; to retire on my own terms, not because I’m tired with achy joints & a spare tire around my middle. I’m a 52 year old female and extremely dedicated to achieving these goals. I’ve bought into many programs throughout the years, I’ve read tons of books on the subject and have incorporated many aspects into my lifestyle – all of which have helped to varying degrees. But I’ve not yet been able to achieve the result I’m looking for.
Everyone in my family seems to be on the heavy side and most don’t work out at all. So I suppose genetics is not on my side here, however, I’m determined to overcome that. I’m a religious exerciser and feel that with some coaching from these dvd sets, I will be successful. I feel we have “one kick at the can” – one beautiful life to live here on earth, so why not make it the best it can possibly be!!

I`ve been a fitness enthusiast and health nut since I was 15 (I am not 21). Some people thought I was just going through a “health phase”, but it wasn`t a phase. This is a lifestyle – my lifestyle. And I love that that it is an evergreen process – there`s always more to learn and new programs to try.
I currently live away from home, in a different city for my university career and have just started your Cheat Your Way Thin Program – which I love! It`s awesome since there are so many holiday parties going on.
I bought Tony Horton’s P90X system three summers ago and love it. I use it religiously at home and in the gym…however, I think it`s time for a new program to team up with your CYWT program. I would really appreciate Vince’s No Nonsense DVD set. I saw how fit Vince’s girlfriend is and am inspired!

I’m 21 and soon 22. I have been working out since I was 16. My problem is I never really got any results. At the beginning I thought it was because I was so young and needed more experience and knowledge. Later I was allowed to buy protein and creatine. I had a better workout, but still, I was fat. In the past year I got a job and almost spend the money on supplements like Nitric Oxide, testosterone booster and a lot of vitamins. I have searched about everything and being a member of free stuff from lee hayward, vince and other bodybuilding pages. Now I don’t buy supplements. It didn’t helped and I am studying radiography and need the money for books and to commute. I have used the knowledge from the internet and tried 4 different workout routines 3 month each. My family, friends and girlfriend always tell me that I am crazy about working out. In fact have headaches because I am always thinking. NOW, I am really getting frustrated, but kept the motivation. I have not been drinking for a year and trying to eat properly. People keeps saying take some steroids, but I still believe there are other opportunities.
Honestly, there’s so much information out there that it’s impossible to figure out what’s true and what’s not. Cheat Your Way Thin made sense to me on a visceral level the minute I read it. I trust your judgment, Joel, and if you think that Vince Del Monte is the man with the plan, that’s enough for me (Flavia is also living proof that his program doesn’t suck). I’m a woman in her mid-40s who HATES strength training and I prefer to keep my time in the gym to a minimum. However, I’m a yoga teacher and need to present a fit appearance to maintain my credibility and motivate my students. The advice I hear the trainers in the gym where I work just seems bogus, and I need to find someone who knows what he’s talking about. That sounds like Vince. Give me the DVDs and I promise to use them and inspire and motivate other women to go for the intensity and change their bodies.
