I dont need to loose weight: I am 180cm and 70 kg, But I consider my body part of NATURE - the one very PERSONAL part of all nature that I more TRESPONSIBLE for than any other part of nature. And therefore I want to keep it in OPTIMAL form, and give it optimal “upkeep”.. This is my reason to join.
Joel, my story is a lot like yours, a kid in college spending much too time for little or no results. With that being said, I happen to be a fitness skeptic having struggled and usually failed with multiple diet and workout plans. Currently, my week will consist of using the free facilities provided on my campus. there is a swimming pool, which I use about twice a week, and a wellness center that I always jam packed brotastic roid-monkies who like to spend their time taking up equipment while talking about muscle milk and UFC to their buddy who is NOT WORKING OUT on the equipment beside them that I try to squeeze a workout in several times a week. On these weeks that I can manage to get a workout in, most of these weeks I’ll kill any caloric deficit I’ve created by a horrible diet. Feeling guilty for my diet, I’ll make up having a week of lean protein, and as little sugars as possible while having a workout regime that consists of maybe spending 30 minutes on a cross trainer in my basement. With Vince’s DVD’s and your bonus I’ll have the knowledge and will to blast away my fat and gain lean muscle without having to listen to “another Kimbo Slice story” while trying to do Arnold Presses at the Wellness Center again. I just turned 33 on November 26th (seriously!). I am a married man and proud father of a one year old son.
Vince has been a true inspiration for me (Not to mention that I was also the skinny guy growing up and a cross-country runner). I have been following his NNMB program (i.e., book & extra) for the past months and gone from 156lbs to 179lbs. But I am not done - My objective is to reach 200lbs before I go into fat cutting phase (and win the 12-week challenges).
I found it good on my birthdays to reflect on my accomplishment in life so far and define what I want to do going forward. Hey Joel! Thank you so much for always finding ways for people to get a hold of a program, DVD’s, Diet, blogs….etc. You, Vince, Isabel, Jayson, Mike and others are a true inspiration. I look forward every morning to checking my email and receiving something new that could improve my life/health. I do work out at the gym but sometimes I lack motivation, I get confused with sets/reps…etc but most of all, I lack technique. I did hire a personal trainer recently but I still feel that those DVD’s would be a lifetime investment. I like my trainer, but honestly, I would rather workout at MY free time rather than his appointments. I did purchase the CYWT a while back, I also have Vince’s No Nonsense program (no Dvd though) which I would take with me to the gym when working out on my own. Even though I went on Youtube to see how people perform the exercises, I would rather get the proper form/technique from professionals I trust such as you guys instead of potentially harming myself (which happened before) or not nailing the routine to maximize the benefits.

Since I am the only Israeli candidate to wine, and since Israel is such small country were everybody know anybody, think how many new people will be expose to your body transformation methods, and how good you can do with such simple move – giving the package to me.
Let me say this, when I started turbulence training I was 215 lbs. I did it for a while and lost a few pounds. I had shoulder surgery in August and thought my weight would balloon. Instead, I ordered the empowered nutrition meal plans to help regulate what I ate. Though I couldn’t workout, I still encouraged my peers to do so. I’m just getting back into working out as I’ve graduated from Physical Therapy. I deserve to win the package because I have been struggling to lose the last 10 lbs and keep it off. I was so close then I severely sprained my ankle 4 weeks ago. When I retired back in 2001, and having been active in my working life, I began to gain weight and bulk! (Didn’t we all). Various efforts at dieting were only moderatley successful, and I found that what I really needed was exercise. I now have a part time job, and 2 days each week after work, I walk 7 kms. When I first started the walk, it took me a couple of hours to complete. I can now do this in under 1 hour 20 minutes. You may say “Great”, but I need the extra exercise regime to really hone my body. I may be 69 years old but that does not mean that I must give up. So, please give this guy the chance to re-gain his lost youthful figure!!
I don’t know that I ‘deserve’ to win this wonderful tool for keeping in shape, and I have most of the same motives as anyone else. I’m over 40, and make an extra effort to excercise am eat right. I’m a former semi-pro athlete, and got all the way up to 280 lbs after my brief career ended. I have worked hard to get myself back down to 235. I’m really struggling to lose kilos left over from my third pregnancy. I have found it significantly more difficult to lose the weight now that I am 10 years older than when I had my first child. Even though I’m not overweight in everyone else’s mind, I know that I am not my normal healthy weight and this has ramifications for my body. I have bad knees, both inherited and also from my gymnastics days and any extra weight - even just a few kilos, makes them painful. I have also been left with some achilles tendonitis in both ankles.
I like to keep fit. I do pole dancing for fitness, aerobics, gym workouts and jogging. The only thing letting me down is my yo yo diet. I need inspiration and a really amazing program like this one to get me on track.
I believe that people who say “I look fine, I won’t worry about losing the extra weight” are very wrong in their thought patterns and opinions. This is how people end up overweight, through complacency. I’m not complacent but I could certainly use some help to achieve a sense of “normalcy”, please help……………. Simple. This DVD won’t be for me. It will be for other people that I am going to train in the future. I’m a Kinesiology major right now in school, only 20, and am reading tons of things weightlifting-related, and trying to understand different concepts. I would use this DVD to help me understand someone else’s viewpoint and apply this to my own approach with the client’s goals. And yes, I realize my schooling has absolutely NOTHING to do with how knowledgeable I actually am in the weight room. That’s where the experience comes in.

I’m 50 pounds overweight, am diabetic and have a heart condition. I’ve always had great difficulty losing weight which both of my doctors have been urging me to do. I know that I will feel much better and have more energy and stamina if I can just lose this stubborn fat. Please help me.
I have lost 25 lbs…and i am stuck! I weigh in at 14 stone (yes i am living in the Antiopodes and we use stones as a weight measurement…1 stone is 14 lbs so i am down from 220lbs to 196.)
I go to the gym 3 times a week and do cardio and weight exercises to buikd up my core and my legs and arms. I forego sugars and refined grain products. I do not eat rice or potatoes but I do have a glass of wine from time to ttime.
But, I cannot see my abs! My waist has come down four inches but I am not happy with my belly, as i know there are abs under there.. So there is something that I need to do , do differently, or refrain from doing! Help me!

Well, I’m retired now and therefore I have the time…..in princip….problem is that unless I get something to focus on that time tends to slip away as I’m in no hurry. there is always more time to think about the problem a bit more. Interesting is also that little problem that my friends tend to think that I now have unlimited time which they can borrow a little of….

I am a 41yo australian, living in Singapore, I have 2 girls 3 & 16mths. For most white people living in Asia we face the constant battle of not being able to buy decent clothes. I know this may sound strange, however, I am not hughly overweight, my beautiful daughters did leave behind some extra fat in their wake, but at 5′4 and 58kgs (sorry not sure what that is in pounds), it’s not like I have to shop at the extra large stores, or do I???
YES in Singapore a am classified as XL in most ladies clothes stores. SO I would really love to be able to trim down my body enough to not only feel great and have more energy for my lively girls, but I would just LOVE, LOVE , LOVE to be able to walk into a store in Singapore and actually buy a size M, see I am not asking for the world, I don’t need to achieve asian size XS, just plain old medium would be fantastic.
SO please Joel can you help me to be one of the few white women in Singapore (other than those anorexic expat wives:-)) that can actually stand next to a local and not feel like an elephant, standing next to a stick insect!!!!

I used to live in Houston the last four years and just recently moved to a suburb 15 mins away from Chicago. i broke my neck in an industrial accident, but fortunately i was not paralysed. i had a vertabrectomy (which involved the removal of a vertabrae and two discs and a graft of a piece of bone from my hip. it also meant the patial fusion of cc2 to c5 and the insertion of titanium plate and 4 screws into 4 of the vertabrae involved). the end resultl- a lot of pain, inactivity and inability to work. i developed and addiction to pain meds and also ballooned in weight putting on over66lbs. Im only 5″5 and got up to 231lbs. i dont want your sympathy cos thats not the end of my story. i got to the point where i said enoughs enough. i got off the meds(that was hard) bought myself a powerteck leverage gym, leg sled and some dumbbells from the small insurance payout i got and set about reclaiming my life. ive been soccessful in rehabilitating wasted muscles after 2 and 1/2 years of gut wrenching effort ive made impressive stregth gains eg. bench 375 for 6reps(3 sets) ssuat 515 for 6. i just cant kose the fat . i still weigh 212lbs and my waist is 44inches. i do high intesity cardio 5days a week aand wweighrts 5day split but the fat wont budge. i need good training advise to show me where im going wrong. i cant find work because of my injury and i suspect my girth no one will give me a go. i get by on a pension but i dont want a hand out i want a hand up, i will do the work if you will give me the tools.
I need this because I have been so depressed, thus hibernated. I now need something to change my life, so that I can get my energy back. I’m ready to do almost anything, but I think a ready-made program is what can help me stay focused.

Hi, my name is Sam Harvey and i am from Melbourne, Australia.
At the age of 8 months, i was given up until five years of age to live. You see, i have heart problems. At birth, the hole in my heart stayed open rather than closing itself, on top of that, there is the matter than my mitral valve leaked, bleeding into my respiratory system. Through 4 major heart surgeries i have managed to have the hole closed and my mitral valve repaired using my own heart tissue. So why would a heart patient need this package? Simple. I’m 43 years old and feel like I’m unable to do all the things I need to do with my husband and children. We have acreage and this requires so much work which simply tires me out relentlessly. Hi, Joel, I receive yours and Vince’s e-mails and quite a few of your friends’ too for that matter – including Lee Hayward… You all seem to be very well respected in the industry. I’ve literally been looking for ‘the’ best system to spur me on with my quest to create the perfect body. Quite simply, when all of Vince’s friends are recommending him, there must be something good about it! I aspire to create the same physique as Vince and, although I have always started with good intention on many a course, I never seem to make a difference. Business ownership (stress), work, good food and wine and complacency has hampered my quest to reach optimum fitness and shape. I moved here to New Zealand from the UK 18 months ago and between work and erm, more work, I also joined the New Zealand Fire Service as a volunteer firefighter – something which is quite demanding where fitness is concerned – and I am struggling. Next year, to raise money for the leukaemia foundation, the Fire Service runs up 50 floors of Auckland Sky Tower in Breathing Apparatus with other Fire Depts from around the world. They also put out a firefighter calendar to raise much needed charity funds. My simple request is, I ‘need’ Vince’s system, because it looks to be the best – and I ‘want’ it, because I would not only like to surpass my goals, but I would like to make the Sky Tower Challenge next year and also like to make the calendar!! I would love to win this dvd package, as I am self motivated and try to to whatever I can to stay on the healthy path. I have been trying to gain muscle and loose some fats for quite sometime now, using different kinds of workout and nutrition program that I bought from the internet. But like the majority of people, achieving these goals has always been a struggle and a waste of time and money. While I never stopped searching for the magic bullet, I also became very skeptical about these products and considered them worthless. After all, I have my fair share of losing money several times for something like this.
But reading about Vince and yourself and your respective programs, it makes me want to believe that yours are something else. That’s the reason I’ve been combing internet sites – both yours and other independent sites - to see positive reviews. So far so good but still the skepticism in me prevented me from buying.
But who knows, maybe a couple of workout and nutrition programs from two guys who seems to really know what they’re talking about is the answer I’ve been looking for. Maybe it’ll work for me and turn me into a believer again.

I am turning 50 in a few months, and have been very determined to lose weight (10 kg) before this milestone. I lead an ex-pat life, moving to a new country every 3 years- and guess what- each move the weight piles on- comfort eating! and then yo-yo dieting!
At the beginning of 2009 I joined a gym- worked out according to their ‘plan’ for me for 9 months- and lost marginal weight but couldn’t see or feel a big difference- all for 90 min in the gym 4 X a week.
2 months ago I signed up to your website and love your daily comments/ tips. And I started interval training…. and have lost 4 kgs!
I am so motivated and am just loving the way I feel- so in control of myself. I did 20 min on the treadmill this am- 1 min fast run, 1 min slow, and its working! I’m a 36 year old mum of 3 girls: 4 years old, 2 years old and 8 weeks old. I’ve just recently started working out again after my six week post partum check and set a few goals for myself.
One of my major fitness goals is to be a fine example of good health for my daughters and be their role model when it comes to looking and feeling good about themselves as they grow. I also plan to be around for a very long time to see their children grow into fine healthy adults.

I have been dieting and going to the gym for over 4 years. I weighed 115 kg at one point and with dedication and hard work got down to 72 kg in a year and a half. I had very good results at the start but I realise now that I probably over trained, messed up my metabolism and lost a lot of muscle mass along the way. I had two 2 hour and two 4 hour sessions each week, consisting of weights and cardio. I have cut down in cardio and focussed on weights over the past 2 years but I don’t see much difference at all. I have not been able to push through the plateau’s I have hit, I feel like my muscles just can’t grow anymore. Also I can’t lose the remaining fat around my waist and hips no matter how much I diet and train. I have recently tried a few different types of training. I tried Metabolic Surge Training where I do cardio during my rest periods but after a week and a half I decided to do a regular weights session and noticed I had gotten weaker. Right now I’m doing CYWT and weights with MIT afterwards so I’m looking forward to seeing how I progress with that. I believe Vince’s DVD set will help me completely change my weight training style and routines so I can start off fresh and see clear improvements in my fitness and appearance.

But my body fat is still high and I’m still trying to reduce it through exercise and changing my diet. So I need a more focused program to lose the fat, have better stamina and energy. I have been one of “those” up and down people, only now, at nearly 50, can’t seem to get my weight down. I think I know quite a bit about nutrition (I’ve dropped hundreds of lbs over my lifetime). I exercise 5-6 days a week. I am super committed; I must just not have the correct information. I guess I just haven’t been taking the best advised action because I’m not getting results. One doctor told me I’m pre-menopausal, just forget it and accept myself as I am (5’1” & 30 + lbs over where I was a few years ago). I want to believe I can have a decent, or dare I dream…great body. This me isn’t a good example for my kids….I’m too young to give up and just accept I’m a gray haired, frumpy middle aged mom. I was thinking if I just tell people I’m 60, maybe they’ll think I look good for my age J. But it’s not just about looks, I know I can feel so much better and I have the standard health issues: prediabetic, insulin resistance, high cholesterol, back/shoulder pain.

Joel, I barely survived to retire from my first career having a heart attack just one month before leaving a job of 27 years. I also started treatment for type 2 diabetes. I need to get to a first goal of 185 lbs from my current 236lb at 5′7″ and maintain for some time and possibly to an ultimate goal of 165lbs. I was 135 lb in college and in fair physical shape 35 years ago and have been over 185 lbs since about 1996. First, the short version: It is no question at all that I will be reading through, analyzing and putting to good use every single document included in that package. MORE IMPORTANTLY, not only will I be using it for me, but to help OTHER people around me, too.
Now for the more eloquent part: I am very active in general, and in terms of training and physical activity, most people around me say I’m either sick or just not human. The fact is, I thrive to find new ways to make myself constantly IMPROVE. My main passion is martial arts (3x/week), but I’m also part of my school’s dragonboat team (which is a very intense sport in itself.. 1-2x/week). The truth is I wanted to order a copy and filled in the form on my pc , but I wasn’t able to get it because the computerprogram wasn’t satisfied with the expiredate of my Visacard!! I had to fill in day, month and year but on my card there’s only month and year and I could not get the……program to accept it ! I live in Spain and maybe it’s different overhere than were you are. I do not know but I was really dissapointed, not only for myself but also for all the people I work with as a gym/fitness teacher/coach. I am 39 - normal healthy asian male with decent eating and exercise habits to keep fit. I am a strong believer of high intensity bodyweight circuits for strength, endurance and general fitness but I don’t believe that you can achieve a beach-body by following any body-building techniques. Bulk - yes but cuts and definition for a body that’s fabulous under a suit and also without it - the bodybuilding techniques alone just can’t get you there. Prove me wrong if you can.

I am ready to transform my body. I have always Been overweight continuously trying new diets and workout plans with little success. I have a 6 month old at home now and need to make sure dad is around for a long time so I van pass on this fitness knowledge to the next generation.
I’m 22 and have recently split with my boyfriend. I put on over stone in the years I was with him because I got comfortable. Now I want to do everything I can to get my body back to how it was before, and hopefully better! Hi, I would love to win because i have worked my but of over the last eight months following a few programs consisting of full body weight training and interval cardio and it rocks and my results are amazing. I just keep getting fatter..I have been down the road of just about every diet. I have done raw foods, low carbs, calorie counting, diet pills, u name it. I just cannot seem to stick at anything. I have good days and bad days, but the bad days are starting to become the majority. My husband has banned me from buying any more “diet solutions” or exercise equipment, and quite frankly i am losing hope. Well, in Feb 2009 I decided to shift into a healthier lifestyle. I was 204lbs (female) when I first started working out. I just felt bloated, depressed, you name it… I was miserable 24/7 and had to do something FAST! I was juggling my job, full time school, taking care of my mother, and 3 nieces that my sister left. It was quite a struggle, but I did it!
In July 2009, I had dropped 35lbs of fat by working out and eating and living healthier (including reading your blog regularly!) I felt great! My energy was sky high and I went down 3 - 4 pant sizes! One of my friends was so inspired, she jumped on the bandwagon and has lost 20lbs with me!
Now it is December and I’ve only dropped a further 10lbs. It’s getting a bit tough and I think I’ve hit my first plateau. I’m not dropping as much weight as quickly as I was earlier in the year. But I do believe that Vince’s DVD set along with your book will help me lose that last 50lbs while getting me ready for my next phase once the fat’s gone - building a perfect body. Not only do I want to lose this weight, I also want to set an example to my nieces - I want them to know that anything is possible and nothing in life can hold you back from the obstacles it will certainly throw at you. I also want to prove to myself that I CAN DO THIS, and NOT TO GIVE UP HOPE. And as corny as this may sound, I truly love myself. I want to do this for me.

Okay so here goes. I am 19 and ever since my early teens ive been a fat and chubby kid. High school years are supposed to be great fun and parties but for me it wasn’t either. I was too conscious of the way i looked and felt when i went out in public. I don’t blame anyone else but myself for my REALLY bad eating habbits. To be honest i really didnt even want to look at myself. But then i really changed the way i ate and lived and got seriously into training and good nutrition. Well last summer i got down to 8.5 % bodyfat and this was after i was probably somewhere near 25% in 2006. But in the process i became too skinny. Then when i tried to add muscle even though my diet was from squeaky clean calories, i regained a bit of fat. Since then ive been wary of trying to gain any muscle as im scared of going wrong and getting fat again. And the irony now is that im stuck being a skinny 19yr old. I neeed this program :) As of this year I have become obsessed with physical health, I have purchased programs from Mike Geary and Isabel De Los Rios, and yourself ofcourse, but these programs all revolve around nutrition. These exercise dvds would be a great addition to my “weight loss toolbox” especially as i near my weight loss goal, they will help me tone up and hopefully get a 2, 4 or six pack!!

I would be the happiest person alive to have the body of my dreams, and although I didnt think it was possible, I’m starting to think maybe it is. You just need the right information.
My ultimate goal since age 3 has been to become a NASA astronaut. Additionally, my aspiration has developed a more specific direction – to also become an astronautical engineer prior to entry into NASA, and find a way to get people onto Mars.
I knew the Air Force was the best path for my future. I had a problem, though; after school, I was an obese 250 lbs, but I thought the military would whip me into shape. Focusing only on my grades paid off; I graduated first in my class, but, 2 months afterward, I went to a recruiter, and got bad news – there were weight restrictions I had to meet before enlistment. I had to lose 70 lbs!
I set my self-loathing aside, bought weights, and went at it. Surprisingly, the pounds melted off – 10+ weekly…at first. After the first 40 lbs, my body was no longer a stranger to exercise - the weight began to more like ooze off, like the slime on a slug. I hit a plateau from not really knowing anything, but pressed on.
FINALLY, 3 years and 70 POUNDS later, I meet requirements for my height, and leave for training in February!
I have grown to count myself lucky to have been obese, and fought with MEPS for 8 months, believing I might be disqualified for hunchback for 2 of them. These two experiences taught me to appreciate and not take for granted my health and military career, a lesson many will never get the chance to learn. Many people won’t achieve 70 lbs of weight loss in a lifetime, so I know I have no problem taking action, but my journey isn’t near over.
NASA’s selection is SEVERELY competitive; while I will have the smarts handled, I will also need to be VERY athletic. I need to be THE MOST athletic guy applying. I plan to give NASA NO OTHER CHOICE but to select me. However, I will need to know HOW to get into that kind of shape; I need answers and ACTION plans for taking it ALL THE WAY.
Additionally, my nickname, “Jax,” like most of my clothes, no longer fits; I am not so big a guy anymore, so I want to fill that name’s connotation again - this time with MUSCLE. It’s all about BELIEVING BIG and ACHIEVING BIG, right?

And I’d just like to add that your point about if the foods not in the house then you can’t eat it… is so true! I often find myself at the fridge or rummaging through cupboards to satisfy my cravings but recently I have resisted buying alot of sweet stuff, especially as there are plenty of opportunitys coming up to Christmas and my birthday to eat unheathily…
Lastly I would like to say that the dvds would not gather dust on my shelf, I do not like to waste things i’ve been blessed with and I believe I have the motivation to make this a turning point in my life with the help of you and Vince!

i cant really say i deserve the dvd set,since there’s a lot guys here probably much more desperate than me. but, i can promise i’ll use it the best possible way, since i go to gym 3 years from now. i’m a hardgainer ,like vice was before the transformation but i’m not giving up yet:) i’ve spent so much time at the gym and results are ,well,a lot less than expected :) at the very start ,things were going well but it lasted like a month and after that month i only gained strength while muscles stayed allmost the same :( so i promise you ,if i get vince’s dvd set ,ill do my best to archive a victory in shaping my body :)

I am 18 this year. For the past 18 years of my life, I have been eating junk almost everyday. A year ago, I have decided to stop that and start exercising, but for some reason, I could not find a way to lose fats and build up muscles fast. For that, I searched for other methods that are proven and came across your Holiday Cheat Your Way Thin program. With that, I have started seeing some improvements in the past month.

For my whole life, I have been made fun of because of the excessive weight that seems to be dragging along wherever I go. Just today, I was called a “fatass” by people whom I used to consider my friends. To add to my troubles, there is this girl, her name is Brooke, and I would do anything to be able to get her to notice me for who I really am ; not a “fatass”, but a person who is caring and does not have extra pounds of fat stuck to his body. I need your program because when I see you, Vince, I see an Adonis, a true master of physique. Because of this, I wonder how I would be able to achieve something like that myself. So I can no longer be called derogatory terms, and to have the courage to ask out the girl of my dreams. For these reasons, I feel I deserve this program.
The only reason why I need this DVD, is because here in “poor” Greece it’s impossible to find a specialist that can treat us the right way!!!

I believe I deserve to win these DVD’s as I have always been into training and have made some progress over the years, but have never been able to fully get rid of the ’skinny look’. I have gone from around 140lbs to 180lbs and look fairly bigger, but I still look skinny - even compared to guys who don’t train!! Earlier in the year I damaged my rotator cuff and so have been unable to lift heavy. It is now almost healed so am ready to take my training to the next level!! I really want these DVD’s so I can finally walk with my head high, full of confidence. Not only that, but I would also love to be able to help others do the same one day. I would love to be a personal trainer and get the satisfaction of inspiring others. I want to do all this naturally - no steroids and feel like I’ve tried every way out there!
Hi, Don’t feel lie begging for it. I do have the time available to read, study and apply the information. My problem are possible dietary requirements which may require no-carb days or something.
See, I live in South Korea and many people are thin, a very high percentage. They probably eat between 2 or 3 rice centred meals every day. I eat 2 a day, but I have a choice for breafast so I don’t take for breakfast. I’ve spent money before on programs which asked me to follow an impossible diet for my location.
If there was any program incorporating an Asian style diet, I would gladly buy it.
My suggestion is just put the names of the serious comments you got back here into a hat and give it to the winner.

Hi Joel. I’m a mother of two who has never been able to get rid of my ‘baby belly’. Even when I’ve lost a bit of weight I’ve got a serious ‘overhang’ issue. I’d definately like to look like Flavia and have my husband look at me in the way I’m sure Vince looks at her. I’d also like to be an example of fitness to my two kids, and to my friends and family of whom some are constantly struggling with weight loss and keeping it off. By showing them what yours and Vince’s programs can do for me, I’m hoping they’d come on board and it be a domino effect.
I’ve been struggling to regain my fitness after a period of sickness… i love running and use to run everyday (i know all you fitness guys say long cardio is ineffective! but i love being outdoors experiencing God’s creation!) anyway - taxing as it is…. my knees aren’t as bright as they use to be… i’m only 23 and need them for a few more years yet! i used to be a great athlete at least compared to others. my whole life i was the fastest and strongest of everyone that was around me. one day my life changed. i was hit by a car crossing the street and broke my neck and back. i was in pain for years and with time and tons of therapy i can walk again. i’ve been stretching and lifting weights for years now but i’m not the same person i used to be as i’ve gained 70 lbs of fat over the years. i have the desire but i don’t know what to do. i challenge you, i defy you to give me a program i can make progress with.
Having been beaten down about being overweight from an early age in school my motivation to do anything hit absolute rock bottom and I was convinced that my life was never going to go anywhere… It seemed that it was FUTILE to even try to make things better for myself.
Foward on a couple of years and I met someone who would change my life forever. He was unbelievably successful in everything he did and this included being one fit dude! He saved me from all the negative thinking, lit a fire under my ass and I started tackling every aspect ofmy life that I wasn’t happy with. he even took me to the gym he went to to start me off on my fitness and body transformation journey! This guy was an INSPIRATION and the change in my body and more importantly my mindset is unreal compared to all thse years ago. The knock on effect from being happy with my body after all of that effort was unreal, my college grades went through the roof, my social skills were unbelieavable! And I’m now on the edge of making a great business so I can support my family, friends and loved ones in the coming years.
I want to do this for other people, I want to have the best body that I can have to inspire other people that they can do the same. Anything can be achieved with the right support and inspiration .

Hi Joel,To be honest it did not buy it because I am sceptical anything like that works.
Building muscle relays on genetics, motivation, training hard, eating well and not over doing the training. Packages like this all say similar things about building muscle but in different ways.
The price was not expensive so if anyone really wanted it they would have stepped up and bought it.
I would like it free so I can test it out. After all the best recommendation would be from a converted sceptic.

Joel, all the women in my family seem to swell up at a certain age, when they’ve been skinny all their lives, and don’t know why. My mother-in-law is always on some new diet or new exercise plan that never seems to work more than a few weeks. I’m only 26, and I know I should take better care of myself, but I need the tools that will teach me how. Taking care of my body is a habit that I want to develop, so I don’t have to end up like the others in my family. To be honest, though, as much as any one of us could use this for ourselves, I want to give this to my mother-in-law as a Christmas gift because she’s tried harder than anyone I’ve ever known. I want to see her try her last “new diet/exercise plan”.
One year ago I purchase and completed Tony Horton’s P90X program, and found it to be a great challenge. Since then I found Darin Steen on the Internet, and purchased his book, and I have just completed a modified version of his 90 challenge, which I have also greatly benefited from. I am now 53 years old and probably in the best shape of my life. I enjoy learning new exercises and learning more about how to stay fit. I love Darin’s philosophy and inspiring emails, and my goal is to live long and strong, and to be an example to my family to develop life long healthy habits that will help them to live the same way. As a single fifty year old mother of four lovely daughters, all in their twenties and two sweet grandsons, my life has been one of hard work and dedication towards my family. Up until about six years ago I could never seem to find the time to take care of myself after making sure my children’s needs were met. However, once my children began to be more independant, I was able to focus on myself more and started by joining a gym with my two youngest daughters. At that point, I needed to loose about fifteen pounds of fat and becoming more active got me started towards that goal. Within six months I lost ten pounds and felt better than I had in a long time and I was taking steps to improve my eating habits as well. However, my job became more demanding and I found myself going to the gym less and less and eating quick foods to get by. As well, I started having symptoms of menopause. I gained back about five pounds. I am now hoping to loose ten pounds of fat and gain some solid muscle mass at the same time. Great news, I had lost 1.4 kg (3.08 pounds), on Friday (I’m an Aussie and we do the kg thing here)- that’s one week in! I changed my cheat day to Tuesday as I was going to a work dinner - I loved my cheat day but was surprised at how a little went a long way. My next is this Thursday, another work dinner! Your system just fits and its easy to grasp! When I’ve been tempted by what I was preparing for the kids ( hard for me not to have temptation around as you suggest with two young girls and a stick bean husband) or out and about I simply satisfied myself by thinking “I can have it Thursday!”

Well Joel, how can I explain all the changes I am going through right now?
I did take the decision not to buy anything more - yet. Why?
Partly because I have always had difficulties in following things through for a longer time. Everything has so far been in periods and not incorporated as natural parts of my life - fat loss attempts, exercise, personal development etc.
So I wanted to focus on your CYWT program first. I have now done that for a week and never felt so focused. I started a weight exercising program 5 weeks ago and have made it every time - no cheating. But the exercises are almost the same every time and I realize I must change them soon.
By personal development exercises I have recently realized that my prio no 1 is to get in shape. It will have the most positive impact on my life. And muscle building exercises are the ones I enjoy most.
So why would I be able to continue this time? Well, I have been using Holosync for a year now, a deep meditation on CD’s and that is slowly changing my mindset for the better.

I would desire to win the DVD because I’ve tried everything in the book when it comes to weight loss. I did the Body for Life back in 2005 and lost 50 lbs only to gradually gain it back because of eating through my emotions. I have since lost another 50 and am stuck at the same spot I was stuck at when I lost my original 50. I hit a certain number and then it just stops. I am going to have a hip replacement and could surely use the DVD to help me lose extra weight prior to the surgery. I currently workout and do cardio but need an extra push. I believe your DVD will inspire me to not give up the fight. You are encouraging and very inspirational and might I also say relentless in your desire to help others. That speaks most to me. Although I would love to win this package to the great benefit of myself (I am carrying too much fat on my small frame and want to gain lean muscle, which I have battled with for years) I would love to win mainly for my family and friends. I am a student and live with flatmates who have been told by doctors that they are obese. The ‘freshers 15′ has taken a huge impact on their self esteem and self worth, especially as they were healthy before uni. Yes it is the result of their past choices but they are trying to lose the weight and nothing is more crushing than people pointing at them or seeing them try to cover up on a night out at the union. I want to help them. I want to show them hows its done at the gym and what to eat (one of my friends measures all her calories, 1200 and no more, and only eats soup, cornflakes, sausages and potatoes). I want to lead by example! Let us fear the weights no more!
The same goes for my twin, my mother (who wants to build muscle and lives in another country to me), my brother and father (who want/need to lose the gut) and my other sister who must, but doesn’t know how, to get fit to join the RAF in March. My twin and I have both felt the pressure to be thinner from a young age and it has stuck as we grew up. Her reactions have been far stronger than mine (bulimia, fasting and becoming addicted to exercise) in the attempt to be thinner. I concentrated on being healthier, and forgiving myself for wanting chocolate after dinner. I want to help us to be happier, stronger and lose weight through a way that wont damage body or mind. I believe that this DVD program will help me do this.

I’m 55 years old and still about 90 pounds overweight though I have already lost 40 pounds. Though I am getting in much better shape I have a long way to go. I started Jenny Craig about 17 weeks ago and then I saw your program and signed up. I started Thanksgiving Day and I’m loving the program. After reading all the blogs I am confused about whether I am doing the right workout. I am working to exhaustion three days a week doing a full body workout. I am definitely seeing results in the appearance of my muscles and in how my clothes are fitting. I am also doing the HIIT on alternate days.
I need to get fit not only for myself but also for my 30-year-old son who is spasticquadriplegic and requires total care. I am (hopefully was now) a stress eater and after my three children came back from Iraq with post traumatic stress disorder dealing with all their issues I really gained a lot of weight. I hurt so badly from all the weight and lack of conditioning I could hardly walk, tie my shoes, or pick anything up off the floor. I am doing so much better now and I am determined to to lose the rest of the weight and to continue working out the rest of my life so that I can enjoy the rest of my life and be here to take care of my son.
Not only will this program be helping me but my 35-year-old daughter is trying to get in the army and has to lose 17 pounds by the end of December and get in shape for boot camp so it would be helping two people.

1st November - gave up sugar and alcohol to kick start my weight loss along with those ‘unhealthy snacks’. It was one of those days you realise you have to do it TODAY!!
1st December - bought a workout bench and got the weights out of storage (we’ve just moved house). Resistance training isn’t new to me, I love it. I also love the way it makes you feel, and the way people look at you. I was once a lovely English size 8-10 with strong muscles. But due to some stuff going on in my life, managed to put on 3 stone (42lbs) and lose muscle. But that is changing and NOW!
My husband naturally preferred the other me, the slim one with lots of energy. As an incentive he has agreed to train with me. Hey, we both win! Skinny most of his life, then flabby, he now is strong with some muscle but really wants to shape up.
We’ve nearly finished our home gym but until then we have taken over the lounge – needs must. So what’s missing? - Proper guidance and instruction to motivate us further and keep us eating right and training safe. Joel, I am a type 2 diabetic and have been so since I was 13, that’s now 30 years. So far I have defied the odds and I am still very active, fit and healthy with no [touch wood] complications. But despite all that I do to keep fit I struggle to lose the body fat. I never eat junk food, I cook all the family meals, I keep up to date with all the information on food and diet iIcan take in.
But I am missing something or doing something wrong, and I don’t know what? I want and end to the weight fluctuation, and even find a way to stop taking the tiny bit of medication that I take. Your offer could be the way and give me the answers I need.

You want to know WHY I am so desperate for this package of programs. Well, after being an active nurse for 20 years-I fell into a world of very bad health problems. First pneumonia (unresponsive to drug therapy) for 6 months & hospital visits. That left me in a weakened state with much body pain. A doctor gave me chemo in a pill form that I did ‘not’ realize WAS chemo! As a result my immune system broke down. Lastly after a 7 inch open wound from infection from damaged Immune system- on my foot..I had surgery this summer for a type of flesh-eating disease that threatened my foot & leg.They wanted my signature to amputate it. I refused! I survived all that-but now I NEED help to get my body back in shape & strength and healthy. My strength is low-my determination is HIGH. I would like to request that you consider me. I am an “unemployed since May” person that is going back to school to try to get an education that will enable me to find a job. I live in a small town in rural North Carolina where the unemployment rate currently is over 16% so there are not many jobs available at all. Along with being unemployed, we have close to $20,000 in credit cards that we’ve had to use to make ends meet. Obviously, we cannot afford the $197 or $97 fee for the DVDs. Well, I was a cow my entire adult life until last year. After my mom died, I became the matriarch of the family and looked like a matron too!. So what did it do, I put on another 15lb of sympathy weight. Enough! I took action, lost over 80 lbs then blew out a lumbar disc, have been out of work for a year but have still managed to keep off about 72lbs. I need the variation, the forethought you and Vince have put into this to help push me through to the final goal of 95lbs off and to stay healthy. I still have back issues, still looking for work, but I go to the gym 3-4 days a week and have a trainer help me. But something is missing. Please help me find that answer to why I can’t get toned pretty abs. I think I eat clean. But from a 2x top and 20W jeans to med tops and 6-8 jeans I must be doing something right, but I feel you have the key to unlock all my potential that I know is inside me. At 58 years of age I have decided that I’d better clean up my act and get healthy. My father just turned 90 and my mom is 86, both doing very well. It looks like I’m going to be here for a while so I’d better look after myself. I had bought your book Cheat to Lose some time ago and have been using it recently (lost 5 pounds) but I need an exercise program to go with it. I’ve lost a fair amount of muscle over the years that needs to be rebuilt if I’m really going to lose weight and it looks like Vince’s program might help with that a lot!
This year, I realised I was now nearer 50 than 40, weighed just over 200 pounds, and was getting breathless just performing simple tasks. I know I am unfit, and read more and more about being unfit and being obese leading to heart disease, diabetes, cancer and other life threatening health problems. A cousin the same age as me as just been diagnosed with breast cancer, and will be having her breast removed within the next week. This is all terrifying. I know I need to turn my life around or I may well not live beyond middle age. I want to enjoy being middle aged, and look forward to a long and healthy retirement, and I think Vince’s program is the way forward to a healthy programme for life. I have had my wake up call, and am now ready for action.
I’ve been reading the posts and I must say…I don’t know how you will pick a winner. There are so many wonderful posts, some odd ones too, but all in all people seem genuine in their desires to create better lives for themselves. I DESERVE THIS because I have made numerous sacrifices in my thirty odd years of life to maintain a healthy body, mind, and soul. I come from a long history of illnesses in my family: my Dad died unnecessarily of a massive heart attack, my Mom just finished 12 rounds of chemo and is diabetic, my brother is on 3 types of medicines for blood pressure, etc., etc. I am always searching for any information that will help keep me healthy and help me help my family become healthy. I’m not really sure how you will pick the winner. If it based on what is said in the blog, then I know for sure I will not win. I would like to say however, that if I was picked I will prove to everyone how well this systems works by putting it to work.
Simply put, I intend on being in the best shape of my life. I am 39 years old and have had some recent upheavals in my life which leaves me with a new lease on life and I have taken stock of whats important to me. #1 is my health! I have never thought much about my health or my body. I was young and mostly slender but my body was still unhealthy. Abd fat mostly. My mom once said when I was in high school “for an awfully thin girl, you have a lot of flab”. I have dedicated my life to eating healthy, getting rid of the unhealthy fat, and getting my body into the best shape of my life. I realize that my life is special and I want to feel better in my forties than I did in my twenties. Your website gives me great tips that help keep me on my new life plan and Vinces DVDs would be a great addition to help me attain my goal.
I have tried every program out there and have achieved some success, however, the trouble always begins when the initial motivation to “abstain” from my favourite foods wears out. I know that Joel’s program is around allowing those favourite foods - in a rewarding way - so that they can still be included in his program but the program also works to reorient my relationship with those foods so that they don’t dominate my thinking while trying to achieve my goals of losing fat and getting strong and lean. The dvd program would help me reach my goals. In addition, my husband would really benefit from some structure around his eating and working out so it would be a double benefit in our house.

I am a 55 year old woman who did not discover fitness until age 49. After a few years trying different things, I discovered Turbulence Training, and my workouts began to get effective, intense and regular, and I began to feel strong for the first time in my life. I lost about 20 pounds, but the last 15 just wouldn’t budge. I was absolutely intrigued by Cheat Your Way Thin. Not only did it make sense- the whole protecting your metabolism part- the idea that I actually needed to enjoy my favorite non-diet foods once a week on my cheat day was psychologically satisfying. In fact, I would say that my first cheat day (after Thanksgiving) was delightful, and the thought that there was another one right around the corner gives me the will power to say no to the foods that I need to say no to. I would use these programs to continue my pursuit of better health in my 50’s and on than I had in my youth.
I’m 22 years old and have been working out for 5 or so years and made some progress. However, now I seem to have hit a plateou, so while I’m pretty pumped I’m still covered with a layer of fat which I have been unable to lose. Joel, I love your program it is a ‘diet’ that works and I can see that it is something I will be able to stick to for… well forever because I do not feel deprived and if I ever do there is always a cheat day to look forward to. I have been strictly sticking to the CYWT holiday program for about a week and a half and exercising more than I ever have in my life (my friends are even telling me I’m doing ‘to much’!). I’ve been trying to do interval training in the morning then an hour or longer walk later in the day with some sit-ups/crunches if I have energy leftover! The problem is my first weeks measurements - I have PUT ON WEIGHT! Nothing will stop me persisting to get the body of my dreams and I know it will happen but I think the different type of training on Vince’s DVDs is what I need to get the fat burning and not only lose fat but tone my body because it is not the number that is important but what my body looks like that is my goal. As I said nothing is going to stop me getting the body of my dreams but I believe this package can help guide me in the right direction rather than trying to find my way by blindly experimenting at the gym.

I believe that I should win the DVD set because I would definitely use it faithfully. I have been overweight my whole life & have tried many diets - even went on Medifast once. Yes, I lost weight & according to the scale my weight was just fine, but I was still way to flabby in all the same places. Not to mention that I put all the weight back on within a few years. Currently, I am down about 25 lbs. with about 50 to go. I want to make sure that when I reach my goal weight, that I don’t still have all that jiggling going on like every other time. Being a 49 y.o. firefighter (25 + years) & entering the twilight of my career, it gets more & more difficult to keep up with the youngsters. I’m a 52 year old female and extremely dedicated to achieving these goals. But I’ve not yet been able to achieve the result I’m looking for.
Everyone in my family seems to be on the heavy side and most don’t work out at all. So I suppose genetics is not on my side here, however, I’m determined to overcome that. I’m 21 and soon 22. I have been working out since I was 16. My problem is I never really got any results. At the beginning I thought it was because I was so young and needed more experience and knowledge. Later I was allowed to buy protein and creatine. I had a better workout, but still, I was fat. In the past year I got a job and almost spend the money on supplements like Nitric Oxide, testosterone booster and a lot of vitamins. I have searched about everything and being a member of free stuff from lee hayward, vince and other bodybuilding pages. Now I don’t buy supplements. It didn’t helped and I am studying radiography and need the money for books and to commute. I have used the knowledge from the internet and tried 4 different workout routines 3 month each. My family, friends and girlfriend always tell me that I am crazy about working out. In fact have headaches because I am always thinking. NOW, I am really getting frustrated, but kept the motivation. I have not been drinking for a year and trying to eat properly. People keeps saying take some steroids, but I still believe there are other opportunities.
Honestly, there’s so much information out there that it’s impossible to figure out what’s true and what’s not. Cheat Your Way Thin made sense to me on a visceral level the minute I read it. I trust your judgment, Joel, and if you think that Vince Del Monte is the man with the plan, that’s enough for me (Flavia is also living proof that his program doesn’t suck). I’m a woman in her mid-40s who HATES strength training and I prefer to keep my time in the gym to a minimum. However, I’m a yoga teacher and need to present a fit appearance to maintain my credibility and motivate my students. The advice I hear the trainers in the gym where I work just seems bogus, and I need to find someone who knows what he’s talking about. That sounds like Vince. Give me the DVDs and I promise to use them and inspire and motivate other women to go for the intensity and change their bodies.

I’m a 40 yr. old father of 8 and a granddad to a fine young boy. Most guys around me don’t put their physical well being as a serious priority, and the results are sad. When I noticed the change in my metabolism and that I was deteriorating like them, I took the initiative and started popping into my local gym 3 times a week after work. That was over a year ago, and along with a genuine effort to eat nutritionally, the results are encouraging indeed. I can keep my weight in check, and I’m more toned, powerful and energetic than I’ve ever been! But the time has come to take it to the next level. I will be turning 49 in March and I haven’t had the body I’ve always wanted yet. My gift to myself is to acheive this by the time I turn 50 in March of 2011. I’ve been following TT with Craig for 1 year now, and it has taught me discipline and focus. I love his workout. I’ve never followed a program so consistently as this one. I’ve been on the TTMembers forum since Sept 08. He beleives in your system and Vince’s, so that has perked my curiosity. I live in Macau (very small country next to Hong Kong) and finding personal trainers or workout partners is very difficult, so all of your emails and information is what keeps me going.

Hey Joel, I believe I deserve to win the prize. Long story short, i dont want it… i need it… Heres the thing, I am healthy and very active. I have 18% body fat and i dream everyday to get down to single digits. Working out and seeing the results is what gives me motivation but not just motivation to continue working out more, but motivation in school,work, and in life. I believe my body represents who and what kind of person i am and im hoping that if i can get these dvd’s i’ll be able to fulfill my dreams. Now the real reason i want this set is because of my family. Im part of a family of 5. Every single one of them wont do excercise or fix their nutrition or do anything to keep their bodies healthy. Hi, I would really like to win these DVD’s so I could have a better chance to lose this weight. I have been trying to lose my weight for years, ever since I was 16 years old. I have come from a physical and verbally abusive family, I am 50, going on 51 years old, and when I get my feelings hurt I have a tendency to hold it in instead of lashing out at other people, so I put the weight on! I have been dieting and exercising my whole life. I remember my family always saying, I don’t understand why you are so big. You exercise all the time. It must be because of your genes? I heard about you through Rob Poulos. I have purchased his eBook, and am in week 6 of this training. Not doing to well with it I might add. I have reviewed you CheatYourWayThin product. Nothing I did not already know or have been trying.
I am 35 years old, and pretty much at my whits end with fat loss.
But just a little bit about myself. I am certainly not adverse to hard work or dedication, but I do need to see some results to know the sacrifice is going to pay off. I have always been ‘heavy set’ and grew up with athletics. The past 5 years I have been rowing competitively, running ( this year I have trained for and completed 3 1/2 Marathons).
I know you warned about saying you can’t afford it, but, it is not that I can’t afford it, but I don’t want to waste my hard earned money on ‘infomercials’ that just don’t work. I feel I have already tried most of them!

Because it’s my birthday. Or at least it was. And between my birthday and Thanksgiving, I somehow fell off the fitness wagon. I believe that this program would help my husband and I tremendously. My husband is a T-10 paraplegic and I am the sole caregiver. We are finding that as we both age (sadly) that it is more difficult to do the lifting and other things necessary for him to be mobile. I think your program is just what we both need to get back in shape. We have let other things in life become more important than our physical condition, and we know that we need to get back in shape.
I’m Wes and it has been a while. Over 4 years now, but in those 4 years I have made a miraculous recovery. I was in a horrible car crash on October 8th 2005. I snapped both of my femurs in half, a small shin fracture, my right elbow shattered and my right arm broke in several other spots. After what seemed eternity of therapy to learn to walk, talk and eat again because I also had a TBI(Traumatic Brain Injury). After I was finally able to function “normally”, I started exercising again. I used to lift weights and I used to be semi athletic before my car crash. I was 19 when I had that accident. I am 23 now. In the past couple of years, I have really made it a point to exercise and try to get in best shape I can get in. My body has made quite a bit of difference. I don’t have the visible 6 pack yet, but starting to and I feel great. I’ve tried a few workout programs. I’ve tried 7MM and have been using that program for the past couple of months. I probably haven’t given my body enough time to see big time results yet, but I think maybe if I was using the right program like maybe Vince’s new program, I might start seeing results faster.
Hello Joel. To be honest, I think that you, Vince, Craig, Roman, Jon Benson and all of the “honest” coaches who have a passion in helping people that are willing to take action, flat out rocks. If I could pick any set of footprints to follow, it would be yours. But a coach would hardly be taken serious if he is not in peak condition. I have gone a long way, ( 20% bf to around 13%) but there’s still a long way, especially if talking muscle. I spent most of my school life as “the fat kid”. Being for the most part a pacifist, I didn’t fight back, and eventually I began thinking of myself just as “the fat kid”. I never had a relationship, through a combination of my looks, and the fact that I had very little confidence in myself because of my looks. But when I went for my 18+ check-up at the doctors, I found out that I had very high blood pressure as a result of my fat, and that high blood pressure ran in BOTH sides of my family (I lost both grandfathers to heart attacks). Then I decided it was time to do something about it. However, with all the fat diets and diet pills out there, I moved from one to the other with no real idea of what would work, and although I lost some weight, I was spending lots of money and occasionally making myself ill in the process. But then I found your program, and since starting I’ve lost just over 10lbs in 2 months. I’m studying to be an actor now, but my dream is not just to get ‘movie star’ looks (although I LOVE the idea of people who haven’t seen me since school seeing me with a new, lean body), it’s to stave off the high blood pressure and the associated complications. And between my acting desire, relationship desire, and health desire, I would put the programs to the best possible use.

I believe that this will help me continues on my quest to using Vince’s six pack program in losing my wieght, reducing my weight from 99kg to about 70kg, reducing my cholestrol levels and my dependency to control via drugs, to control my epilepsy via high dosages of drugs.
I have already lost 9kg being on Vince’s program for the last 4 months and want to take gradually with all the limitations. After a year I want to put on maybe 7 to 8kg muscle mass.

I teach high school English, and I don’t know if anyone loves her job as much as I do. I’m a former chubby kid who got pretty in high school, started dancing and learned how cool the human body is and what it can achieve. This led me into a career in physiotherapy, with a goal of a master in sports medicine. My passion and drive is to learn others to discover the capability of their bodies and how good it feels to be in control of yourself. This means I have to walk the talk and literally stay on top of things and never start to think that I know enough. Being that I’m only 23, I often have to “compensate” for my “lack of experience” by proving that I know my stuff. My fitness goals for 2010 are to shed 22% body fat, drop 37 pounds and show off my muscles! I need Vince’s DVDs to help make that happen. While all of the bodyweight exercises will help me be stronger, the bodyweight exercise that I think will help me the most is the springing tripod twist. That’s because it’s challenging and goofy looking. I get my kids (ages 3, 5, 7 and 9) to do it and other bodyweight exercises with me. hey joel. i am 19 years old and i go to the gym 4 times a week already but cant seem to just get that nice lean and defined look. I also want to be able to do the human flag. i’m 183 cms and 80kgs. vince’s program sounds optimal to me as i already exercise often but i think i might need some changes to my program to achieve my goals. As you said, you don’t want to give this last set to a person that will just let it collect dust or just follow it once and give up. i would follow this advice since i am quite passionate about fitness and exercise as i was a fat child when i was younger and had dealt with the verbal abuse of being that size. Let’s try. Why should I get this gift, well I think tha my whole family can benefit from them. I myself can use it to start training and getting a nice toned body. My youngest son, who has recently returned from Afganistan, can use it to built more muscle, he is so lean that his fat % is not measured on our scale. At school I endured very bad physical and psychological bullying by other kids that were jealous of my athletic and academic talents. I took refuge in my athletics training, and pushed myself hard-too hard All the pressure mounted, and I developed a serious eating disorder. This illness destroyed 10 years of my life - my chances of succeeding in sport, and affected my schooling. I was hospitalized for 3 years. I have since recovered, and I trained to become a personal trainer. I now want to be a role model and advocate of a healthy lifestyle to other people who are insecure in their bodies, and promote the importance of QUALITY exercise and nutrition! I’m not a beginner when it comes to working out but I’m not a trainer either. Over the past 8 months, I’ve been designing my new workout routine (both resistance & interval programs) for the month. I’d love to use Vince’s programs to save me time designing a program plus I’d have his expertise to knowing I was doing the “right” exercises, in the “right” order with proper form, as I can follow along using his DVD’s. I’d like variety and to be challenged but I just need some coaching … and why not from my fellow Canadian? Exercise and nutrition is the key to feeling and looking healthier and stronger. I want that but fat loss has been a lifelong struggle for me. While I have made some progress this year, I want 2010 to be the year I combine a bang on exercise program (Vince’s) with a bang on nutrition program (Joel’s CYWT).

Hi there. I have recently fallen off of plan and am trying to get back on track. I had a baby 17.5 months ago and lost close to 50 pounds. I have been working on my own to get the last 20 pounds off but it isn’t easy. I also work full time well close to full time hours and at times don’t have time for myself. My doctor told me that with exercise and weight loss, I could probably delay it for awhile. I am 56 yrs. old and have given up. I’ve spent my life thinking about and participating in the healthiest ways to live, but the last 10 years, I don’t know who I am anymore. Nothing works. Everything seems to come back & bite me, such as the 50 lbs I lost doing Atkins religiously and instead compromised my health severly, causing a constant downhill slide since. I had a knee injury that took me out of exercise for nearly 11 mos. which caused another 30 lbs. to be gained. I honestly didn’t recognize myself in a picture taken by one of my challenged students. Vince’s DVD set seems like just the kick in the pants that I need to start seeing results. In the last month, I’ve made some serious changes to my lifestyle, all with the hope of getting into the best shape and condition of my life. I’ve been watching my diet (”clean eating” is the only way!) and my exercise routine has progressed from simple, but consistent daily 20-minute walks, to full-fledged 45-60 minute walks at a fairly quick pace. I’m pushing hard and starting to feel the effects. I’m ready to start incorporating weights into my routine, but have always been so intimidated by the whole “scene”. I bought some dumbbells and was actually looking to purchase an effective DVD to help me learn the best moves for building muscle.
I’m not afraid to spend money (Lord knows I’ve spent quite a bit on exercise books about nutrition, but have only now made the COMMITMENT to act on that information), but I would also love to find a comprehensive series that can take me to the next level - and beyond.

hi, for a long time i have tried all the diets/workouts out their with no succsess. i finaly found and bought “cheat your way thin”, which i really think could be the ticket to the body i always wanted which i am really stoked about.

Last year (2008) mid-November, I accidentally came to know about Vince’s “no nonsense” program. I was very excited. So I purchased the program immediately.
I thought I could finally follow a super program to change my physique and consequently my life. I planned to read all the materials and start my upside down program by end of December. That way I would have an incredible start to my new year…
That felt so do-able and so real. I was very excited.
1st December (2008), I started the upside down training. Two weeks into the program, I noticed that I was not able to continue. I was not well. That was the “trigger” that I went to see my doctor, she found out that there were number of serious issues that were not quite right with my health. I went through lots of tests and had to take lots and lots of medications – (BTW, none of them were terminal issues). Now Exactly 12 months later, I never felt better in my life.
This may sound funny, and bearing in mind I’d never met Vince, but I do owe my great health to Vince.
Finally, 1st December 2009, I started my upside down training. And it feels GREAT.
Two reasons I want to make this work:
1- The greatest gratitude/respect I have for Vince
2- That experience has made me more determined

I’m 54. I’ve determined that I’m going to end 2009 in better shape than I started. I’m progressing on my fat-loss transformation, but I need the DVD set to fine-tune and focus me on the most efficient program so that by March 2010 I will be in the best shape of my life.
I would love to win this set. I have always been a “fitness freak” as my family has labeled me. I taught aerobics in college (which was all the rage then!) and have tried every exercise system out there! When I was 20 I suddenly began to gain weight uncontrollably. I had contracted a disease called Cushings which is caused by a pituitary tumor. After two years of being misdiagnosed I had brain surgery, part of the tumor was removed and I began the long recovery. I was left with cyclical cushings, and hypothyroidism. This means that every six months or so I go through a Cushings cycle and gain about 40 pounds no matter that I stay in my 1200 calorie range and exercise every day. I now am 37 years old. I have four kids and run a full time medical transciption business and have another job as well and I am so incredibly frustrated because it seems no matter how hard I work (at least an hour a day in the gym) and with personal trainers, I still cannot lose the weight. My endocronologist told me to increase to two hours a day and that might help! I don’t have two hours a day! I use the bodybugg and log every single thing that I eat, I have no problems with self-control! I burn over 2500 calories a day on a normal day and when I do interval training I burn over 3000 calories according to the bodybugg. I have about 25 pounds to lose and it just won’t come off. I have been running three miles a day and doing Jillian Michaels’ workouts as well as weight training classes at the gym. After reading about this set, maybe this is exactly what I need to help me get back to that healthy lean body that I had and felt so great at. A few years ago I beat the disease, got back down to a size one, felt AMAZING! but then had a relapse and gained 40 pounds back again in one month! I just need something that really really works! Please consider sending me this lifeline, I feel like I need it really bad! I would be SO grateful for the help!
I have spent my life since i was 8 years old battleing the fat. I have had limited success only to lose what i have gained during brief periods. I have started using your advise and techniques and they are showing results that i have not been abel to get before. I am hoping that this additional instruction will only help to increase my drive an motivation for this program.

Hi Joel, I didn’t open up my email until yesterday so I missed out on the offer, but my reason for wanting/needing this is I blew a disc in my back in July had emergency surgery a week later now my back feels great but my legs are still weak and I gained 15lbs on top of the 30 I needed to lose. With all the diets and workout programs and everyone of them contradicting each other I have PARALYSIS BY ANALYSIS and I need one from someone I researched and trust and thats where you come in. I am a work-from home, home schooling mom, and I do my best to make health and fitness a priority so I can be the best example to my children. One of my goals is for them to learn that we have to treat our bodies as a temple, and this includes not only providing our bodies with the best foods possible, but also keeping them strong and well-functioning via exercise. Because my children are young, it is easiest for me to work out at home (which is grat because it shows them I practice what I preach). To do this, I need a good library of workouts that I can choose from. I have many great written programs that I have formulated from reading blogs like yours, but I have found that videos keep me in check and make me work harder than a written program does, if only because I have to keep up with them (though I seem to need the mental motiviation they provide as well).
In addition to this, I desperately wish to prove to my husband that even though we are getting older, there is no excuse to just let our aches and pains prevent us from staying lean and healthy. I want my dedication to health and fitness to rub off on him, so that we will both be healthy enough when our children are grown to enjoy each other and life to its fullest. I believe that if I had a program like Vince’s (who based on the info I’ve seen had a build much like my husband’s prior to learning how to “muscle up”), he would be more willing to try it than by attempting to use any hand-written notes I have in my current “library”, which honestly are geared more toward women, since I am the one using them. ( I am also hoping that after using your CYWT program, I can prove to him just how effective it is to use food appropriately. Here’s to being a living testimony!)
I’ve always been skinny, in high school I was 6′ and 130 lbs. In the 10 years since I’ve managed to put on about 35 lbs but I never was athletic and am still not. It wasn’t much of a problem until I had my 3rd kid. My first two were daughters and I’ve always been able to keep up with them but my son who is almost two and a half has got me worried. He can literally run for twelve hours straight without slowing down. I took him on a six mile walk and he ran the whole way. He’s got great muscular development for a two year old and he’s strong. The reason I’m worried is that if this is what he’s like now, I’m going to be in trouble in a few years. I’m not going to be able to keep up with him and my six month old son looks like he’s on the same track. Vince’s DVDs would be just the thing to give me the head start I’m going to need so that I won’t be left behind when they get older. I’ll need all the help I can get.
PS My wife was an athlete and I want to be the one to teach my boys sports and I think this would help me get there.

It is not like your average weight loss program’s site. Most of them are from teenagers or young adults who usually easily, can get in shape. I enjoy a challenge of any kind and over the years I have engage in many such challenges in both sport and other activities. I returned to school in my thirties and graduated with a degree in Education from the University of Alberta. I developed knee problems. I consulted with a Sports Medicine Doctor, and he diagnosed arthritis and he suggested I get back into weight training, the best thing that that I have ever done. I was able to strengthen the connective tissue around the knee joints, and maintain muscle tone, this sustained me for about fifteen years. Eventually I had both knees replaced.
I had reach a plateau with my fitness training, and at that time, December, 2008, I decided to take a different approach. I was advised to check out Vince’s web site, I found it very interesting due to the fact that it was largely based on his own experiences and theory backed by an Honours degree in Kinesiology
You take personal responsible for your own progress, continuously challenging the body. I have always felt that you should put ‘can’t’ on one side, because I have always been of the opinion that if another person do it so can I.
I have been guided by the words of Joseph Murphy:- “By day and by night I am being prospered in all my interests.”1 I like the analogy of the wheel, the spokes representing all your interests and the hub a fit physical body, without which you would not able be to operate at optimum level.
My chronological age is 79 and my biological age is somewhat lower I would urge all those that have reach retirement that now is the time for you to pay more attention to fitness. Sooner would be much better. I personally feel that I have an obligation to keep fit and that medicine should change its emphasis from traditional methods to a balance with that of prevention and fitness.
I am ready now to move forward into the next phase of the program.

At 38 years old I have struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember, even as a teenager I remember people telling me it was only puppy fat I had and that would go as I matured…wrong. It never did go and I know the biggest cause of it was because I have also been a comfort eater for most of my life.
I have suffered from depression for most of my adult life, mostly due to life events, losing close family members and also having PND after having my children.
Last year I lost my beloved Mum to Pnuemonia caused mostly through her having type 2 diabetes but instead of helping me to control my weight I again comfort ate anf the weight has continued to pile on.
It has gotten to the point now where I think enough is enough, I don’t want to put my 3 beautiful children (2 teenagers and a toddler) through what I have gone through with losing my Mum. I am currently on a healthy eating programme which is showing results and I have enjoyed going to the gym, following an interval training programme.
I have booked a holiday abroad with my children for July 2010 and I want to lose what I can to enable me to enjoy the break with my children and not sit being self concious about my weight.
I know this way over 250 words but then I have always been told I can talk for Britain, but that’s my reason for entering to win :)

Hi Joel, I have been trying to follow you and Vince for a while with videos. I’m a grand parent who is trying to stay heathy and full of energy so I can play with the babies for years to come. I look at people around town with their grand kids, my age 51, and they can’t even pick one of them up because of being out of shape much less get out a teach them how to play sports and be heathy for their future. I’m healthy and still pop in my P90X videos, core, poly and yoga between workouts each week. With your information and Vince’s I work hard but don’t get the results I want because I don’t fully understand the combination what to work first and how. I’m more like the shade tree mechanic and want to be the rocket scientist. I look at people like ya’ll who have done it, including Nick Nilsson and want the knowledge to live longer, be healthy, be active, throw the ball or shoot the hoop with the grandkids when I’m 60. Ya’ll are the 3 people I want to say down the road too people made me what I am. I’m very lucky to have my health now because of people like you and would like to keep the tickle monster going for my great grandkids, Thank You.

I have to confess I didn’t have a weight problem when I was younger. Even after having 3 children my body seemed to spring back to shape. But slowly over the last 8 years, I have noticed areas of my body changing and difficulty in controlling this. After having my children, I found I wasn’t concentrating what I as putting into my body, the amounts and what time of the day. To cut a long story short (and before that big “M” hits me) I need to get rid of my ‘flubber blubber’ belly or baby belly and stop my waist from continually increasing in size. I’m sick of the constant jokes of ‘when’s the baby due?’
I am in the process of currently changing my diet and increasing my exercise from two days to four/five when time allows. With exercise to help strengthen my stomach muscles. The biggest thing that daunts me is the wide and varied information you get about weight loss and exercise. I mean….who do you believe and do they really know what they are talking about. The bottom line… the proof ‘really’ is in the pudding. Basically you have to have the dedication and belief in yourself and the programme to get results. I would love to have the opportunity to put this programme to the test and prove to others what results can be achieved….As well as being able to flaunt my ‘non-flubber’ flat belly in a bikini in summer. I tried bodytrim system and it seemed not work much for me. I am looking forward to another system which can really help me to lose 5kg in 1-2 months.
First, everyone on this list “deserves” this … But you can only choose one winner. I would be your winner because of choices I have made this year and changes still in my future.
In February of 2009 I weighed 225 pounds and had over 35% body fat. With the pending birth of my first two grand children I decided to take charge and take back my health. Today I weigh 175# and have 18.5% body fat. All of this was accomplished by hard disciplined work, proper nutrition, intense exercise and smart choices. BUT … I am not done.
Having reached my initial goal, I still have a short term goal to get below 15% body fat by February 1, 2010 (my anniversary date of my new healthier life journey) and single digit body fat (less than 10%) by August 24, 2010 (my 57 birthday).
Lessons Learned: Fully committing to a better me has been a labor of love and effort that has resulted in far greater personal growth than losing the 50#. My belief in me, my self-confidence, my ability to finally conquer that last real roadblock have resulted in a self assurance I cannot describe.
Now on to continuous improvement.
(BTW - I look forward to seeing you in January.

I am a 25 yr old Grad student in UNC. I am originally from India and came to US in 2007. Well from my childhood I was a skinny guy looking for attention everywhere but never getting any motivation to hit the gym. Not before I started my college I started hitting the gym but I didnt know what to do and how to do till I got hold of a trainer who taught me the very basics of building muscles. I used to work on the routine without getting any astounding results. Not before I came to US I realized the concept of using body weight and free weights to really boost up the muscle building in less time. Now I have realized that inspite of being a HARDGAINER hard work and dedication can bring me the kind of physique i always wanted. I have been seen the changes in me in last 1 year. Not only I have grown strong but now I am more confident in anything I do. Vince’s DVD can be the guide for me to achieve the goals that I have been aiming for long. I know there is no alternative to hard work but proper guidance is also necessary and these DVD will no doubt serve as the ideal guide for me. Just to let you know I am only 140 lbs and 5.6′ but just by hard work and ‘never say no’ attitude today I can deadlift and squat more than 1.5 times my body weight. My goal is to do double this.

I am an active bodybuilder and cyclist, aged 63. While I have achieved a lot and am fitter than many younger than I am, I am at a crossroads for achieving that next level and the level after that. Since I am semi-retired, I have the time to train effectively, given the right tools. I have a gym membership but need to achieve more than I can do with the limited skill sets of most physical trainers. The DVD is just such a training tool to bring me up to the level of physical development, endurance and speed to enter competitions with a chance of victory.
I am a 34year old female who is 5′3” and currently a size14 which makes me nearly as wide.When I was 19 I weighed 346lbs and through healthy eating and dedicated exercise I got down to a size2 and remained there for many years.Many of my coworkers and then my husband ( which was infinitely worse) started to comment about my breasts, also at about this time I switched jobs and was working a couple of night shifts and some day shifts within the same week. I started talking these stupid supplements to increase breast size and got hooked on sleeping pills.I’m happy to say I’ve been off of everything and clean but I can no longer achieve my burn.I have seen a doctor and he was impressed with my health for my size and suggested I join his weightloss plan and ease up on heavy weights.I’m at the end of my rope and if I’m going to be a horse ,I’ll at least be strong like one.I own a gym worth of equipment and I use it daily with the determination of a bear ..and I know my true self is still here- I just need a path to find her again!I would not waste this opportunity of guidance from someone I trust- after all my doctor doesn’t look like either of you two!
hi joel just to let you know first hand i am not broke just cheap!!!!! hahahahahah i read yr comment on not using money as an excuse and i agree right now im losing over 300,000$ in 2 houses and real estate in a very acrimonious divorce but i have my kids i have my health a loving extended family and about 20 extra lbs. that i just cant seem to lose i can afford the program but by reading all yr excellent advise on diet,cheating your way thin hints, and reccomendations i find that its easy to infer the way that your program works and have used what you have said thru your e-mails to get a better clue on how to survive the holidays without significant weight gain. as to attitude if i did it once i can always do it again so houses and property will not be a problem but losing weight is tuff so i would love to win vinces set and yours to finish the transformation which started 11 months ago and start my new life healthy happy and in great shape and even if i dont win between you and nick, and vince the excellent info is priceless and an incredible how to course that is given away free in small doses which always make me come back for more have an excellent holiday season and your family also thanks again.
I want it!! I need it!! I am absolutely interested. I’m very motivated and excited about getting my body in shape once and for all and keeping it that way. I’ve always struggled to get rid of those last 10 pounds and I can’t ever seem to keep it off. For once in my lifetime I would like to look great in a bathing suit, firm, fit and strong and not flabby. I’m confident your program will work for me. I will use your program to prove that it really does work and with people all different shapes and sizes. Very few of my friends are a healthy weight and they all see me as “skinny,” so it’s very hard to find support to diet, train, and lose weight. They seem to (unintentionally) try to sabotage every one of my attempts to live a healthier life. As a busy honors high school student, I have very little time to work out; I need a program that tells me what to do and can help me stay on track through periods of depression. My mother has deep depression, so it’s also difficult to find support in my family. She thinks taking a walk every day and cutting out all the foods I love will help me lose weight. I know it’s not that simple, because I take eight hours of dance classes every week and have seen no change in my body. In the dance world, I feel a lot of pressure to become anorexic, but I want to find something that will give me a healthy, strong body that is the best it can be. I want to set a good example for my younger sister and help her to live better, as well as encourage my friends to live healthier lives.

Great question to create some inner stirring. I have a pretty big health issue and family members that most certainly will benefit from my success with this program however here are some very personal reasons that I wish to share.
I want to learn to live on purpose with focus on an achievable goal. I believe that you and Vince are incredible teachers because you are walking your talk and that inspires me. I am 44 years young and am more determined than ever to break through self doubts and old self defeating patterns which have kept me stuck on the 10 pound up and down roller coaster for 15 years. I believe that this program will first and foremost build my self respect. It will strengthen my focus and create enthusiasm to break the frustrating cycles. I am already imagining myself living a life looking as fit as Flavia. It has got to start with believing in myself.
So here is my specific goal: I WILL go from my present 24% body fat to 18% body fat in 6 months with this program. I am going to look like the before and after pictures on your site, sculpted muscles and sculpted self image.
