I have always been into exercising and working out, but have always missed the mark on my diet. However, over the last 9 months I have finally been able to make the changes necessary to my diet to steadily see improvements in my body that I have never seen. I am a big believer in many of the principles that you and John preach regarding nutrition and exercise and have incorporated much of it into my daily programs and nutrition. I am currently at about 9% body fat and would love to be able to use this program to cap off what I have been doing in time for my 40th birthday, June 2nd. Which by the way will also be the same time my wife and I will be on our cruise vacation, so the motivation and the will is there! But more importantly I already know that this is a lifestyle change for me and I have won that battle! This would just be the icing on the cake! I have yet to win something other than that ginger bread house back in the eighties so this is a real long shot. I’m 56 1/2 years old and am trying to drop the 40lbs that I packed on after a couple of injuries left me unable to move much. I was in great shape in the military, in my 20’s, 200lbs. 29 inch waist. 30’s and early 40’s marathons, half’s 10K’s 5K’s tri’s, now 50 is here next week May 5th, the same day your program is coming out, I know alot about diet, working out, but always like to learn more and share it with others, I have come down from 260, to 225, in the last 4 months, I use a cheat day now and really like it, just want to finish strong and drop the other 25 I have to lose to become superman at 50!!!!! So I have eagerly read every email this week. I “let myself go” after a break up and gained about 25 pounds over the last several years. About a year ago I decided it was time to take back “me” and start taking care of myself and loose this weight! First, I got so confused about all the right things to do and the wrong things to do. I’m DESPARATE! My son’s wedding is the third week in June! I’ve been dieting and exercising, but have not seen much in the way of results. I don’t want to have to go to the Fat-Mother-Of-The-Groom aisle for a dress to wear to the wedding. Your diet sounds great! I am almost 50 yrs old and I have been fighting my weight since I turned 40, I am in pretty good shape but I can’t get this 15 lbs off. I am currently doing DEFL which I love, but I have gained 5 lbs and my thighs have gotten bigger, they tell me that I build bulk very easily, I already have trouble finding pants that fit. I only have 4 days to work out and only a hour to do it, but I really think this might be the thing I need. PLEASE !!!!!!!!!

Like many people I am strict and disciplined in my training and nutrition and yes i am one of those people who eats oats for my cheat meal as I was scared in the past to have a “proper” cheat meal!! And yes I struggle to get to that next level because of this and now I know why because of the leptin hormones you talk about!! And i fall off the wagon eventually due to completly cutting out my favourite favourite foods from my diet!! In 18 months I have lost 30kg and over 160cm through consistency, clean eating and lifting weights. I still have another 30kg to go and not sure if I can really keep this intensity up for what could potentially be another 18 months! My weight loss has been incredibly slow and I would love to experience something with a little more *wow* factor.
It has been a struggle worth pursuing, but does it have to take the rest of forever!?! Hope not :))

In the last 2 years I have lost 57 pounds, I feel great, except for the fact I have 25-30 pounds to lose still, it’s been very frustrating, I have fluctuated back and forth with 6 pounds for 1 year now, can’t not figure out how come my body weight will not budge. I work-out approximatley 1 hour 6 or 7 days a week. And try to keep my calories around 1500 a day. But still can’t get any lower on the scale. Joel, I’m 54 yrs old and tired of being tired and fat! Both my husband and I need to lose weight desperately (I need to lose about 50lbs). When I was younger I never found it hard to exercise and watch what I ate but as I’ve gotten older I hardly ever exercise and am always snacking at night. After having 3 children I could never lose the lower belly pooch but 4 years ago I had a hysterectomy and gained 30lbs and it seems that all that fat gathered in my upper ab area (under my breasts).
I hate looking in the mirror and hate trying on clothes. I am so ready to try your program so I can especially lose my belly fat since having fat in this area makes us more prone to disease. So far everything I have read about your program makes perfect sense to me. I am 49 years old soon to be 50. I have an under active thyroid have been what people call obese for many years. I would like to feel healthier and look great. I am 5′ 1″ and weigh 235. I would like not a diet but have a lifesyle change for my husband as well as myself. He has your typical barrel belly and is only 5’9″ tall. I have tried many diets with out success. I agree in order to have a healthy body we must have proper exercise and diet.
