Hi Joel,
I am 34 years old and for the last 6 years or so have been seriously unhappy with my body. This is a time when I should have been ecstatic as I have had two gorgeous sons in this time but instead of feeling the joy that I should have, it has been masked by the inability to get my body back to pre-baby shape. Before my first son was born I was probably in the best shape of my life but since then it has all been downhill – and no matter which diet I try nothing works. I am not a vain person – I just want to be healthy to ensure I can enjoy and make the most of my life with my family. Thanks to your emails I am now realising that dieting is not the cure, it is the problem. I need to be educated in what to eat and when to eat in order to be in control and win this battle. I am also going on holiday in 8 weeks and would be absolutely overjoyed if I could go on holiday a few stones lighter and feeling happy and confident again. This would mean so much to me and my fiance and our two sons because I would be so much happier. I am desperate to make the change but don’t know how to without the right direction. I have struggled with my weight for 31 years, my whole life. I eat an extremely healthy diet, or so I thought as I stay away from all gluten and sugars. However, in the process of eliminating sugar from my diet I became addicted to sucralose, which I believe is reacting in my body the same way that “real” sugar does. I lost 154lbs since 2007, but this last year I have gain 20lbs of the weight back, I believe this correlates with the increase in sucralose products that I was using. I really need to add appropriate excercise to my routine. I currently have no energy, I mean I could sleep 24 hours a day if you let me and I really want to learn how to implement a program that gives me energy while maintaining a healthy weight. Once I learn how to do this, I hope to share the information with my parents who are both obese, morbidly obese, and suffer from high blood pressure and diabetes.

I am a 17 year old boy from the Caribbean island of Trinidad. I am vegetarian and I love making my parents proud. You see I was a skinny 135 lb but now I am 175 pounds, proving to myself, others and making my parents proud that a vegeterian could build muscle. I would love to be ripped for them.

Also I train with my dad and both of us has made dome gains. I has always been a lifelong dream of his to be rippled and to show his abs. I would love to help him with his dream as an appreciation for his hard work in being a good father for my siblings and I.

Hi Joel I would like to say I was struggling with the last 10 lbs but that would be a lie. Ever since I gave up smoking 33 years ago I have been significantly overweight. Since I turned 60 I have been in the gym every second day and the muscles are developing but the fat still covers them. I have determination but am short on patience. That is why I need your program.

Hi Joel, why do I need this? I need this for my overall health and wellbeing. I need this strip off the last 4-5 pounds of stubborn bellyfat. 23 years ago I fractured my kneecap, 8 years ago my ex turned my 2 kids against me causing severe depression and i still have no contact with them,
5 years ago I broke my back, last year after several years on a med that finally works, I found out my depression meds make me gain weight and increase hunger.In Mar I was laid off and my wife can’t work either. Now I’m 46 and just can’t seem to get lose the fat. At 5’9″ and 220 I really need help but can’t afford a gym membership. I can use some weights I have and other implements around but I feel this program is the way to get it on Please help me bro

I’ve been reading your updates as you’ve mailed them to me. They came at just the right time. I have been overweight all of my adult life. I have done the classics; pills, shakes, low fat, exercised for hours a day. I’d lose weight and as soon as I reached my goal, I had no plan for maintenance and I’d gain even more. Currently I’m on the low carb, hi protein and vegetables diet. I have already lost 50 lbs. I have 50 more to lose. When I read one of your updates about the leptin hormone I could have wept. I had gotten so worn out and tired and I was so discouraged. What you say just makes sense. I did the first cheat day last sunday and my energy has sky rocketed since then. I really want your system because I believe you have put together a system that is actually feasible. I heard about all this through your buddy Roman. I have to be totally honest… I just completed Final Phase Fat Loss… and the results were amazing. In 7 weeks I lost 12lbs.. I know not amazing right? But more importantly I lost 9.8% of my bodyfat! I went from 27.5% to 17.7%!! That is over 35 of my bopdyfat gone in 6 weeks. So now I need to move to the next stage… I want to go from 17.7% to 12.7% in the next 45 days…. can your program help me do that? I’m pretty impressed with Romans program and I have to be honest I ate more than I should have so maybe I would have done better on his had I followed the diet more closely… but enough about FPFL. I’m a 43 year old male with Celiacs disease which basically means I can’t eat wheat or gluten…pretyy much sucks if you like bread and cereal which I love!! I also travel approximately 35 weeks out of the year so my workouts are in hotel gyms (and sometimes the room itself when there is no gym!) and the local Urban Active when I am in a city that has one. So the dieting is hard….the workouts are difficult to get in… and I want this really bad! I have my bodyfat measured in a Bod Pod so the measurements are dated and scientific – no calipers for me. So yeah – I want one of your programs and I’ll prove it is better than Romans (or at least one helluva a complement to it!!) and then I’ll fly out to meet you both and we can all get a workout in.

Balancing a busy life with a commitment to getting fit is tough. I want to make the most out of what I do and be as completely efficient as I can in the small amount of time I have. I want help from someone who spends all of their time trying to figure out the absolute best way to work out and eat to lose weight and gain and tone muscle. Hi Joel! I really need your program. I am a widowed mother of 3 teenagers. I have been battling MS for almost a decade and I have gotten out of shape. This last year I have done everything to get me and my kids healthy again. We are all signed up for a 10K in June and I will do my first marathon in Oct. If you can show me how to drop that last 30 (a lot but doable), I will finally be the example my kids need. So, Pick Me, Pick Me!!!

I’ve been lifting and doing HIIT and have gained a good amount of muscle over the past 6 months. I have a reunion end of June, and would love to find a great way to drop 15-20 lbs. before that time (how original:). I am always trying to learn new info on supplementation, unique eating patterns, and new workouts that will optimize my efforts. I was always a fat kid. I have tried EVERY “diet” there is out there and now at 48 I feel like I have been fighting this battle FOREVER!! I’ve always yo-yoed but got in pretty good shape by the time I was 40 (that was a goal of mine). About 4 years ago my middle son got sick and was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease and “we” were in and out of the hospital and seeing doctors for three years. That kind of put a hold on everything I was doing. Needless to say I gained weight and got out of shape and felt like crap. So finally this past year I’ve tried to get back into the swing of things and working out with intervals and weights and I am losing weight. But is is harder now older and menopausal. I find it much harder. I just know your program will help me achieve my goal. I can’t wait to for it to come out AND May 4th happens to be my 25th wedding anniversary. What a great gift for me AND I will get my husband to do it too so we can get in shape together so we can have another 25 years together :)

I am a later-in-life gramma daycare provider to my 3 year old granddaughter and mother of a teenage son, I am now mid-fifties and weigh as much as I did when I was ready to pop with my last child. Menopause has come and is on it’s way out?, contributing to my lack of weight loss. It is all I can do to eat right (my perception of “right) and to move my body as much as I can during my busy day. I have battled retaining a little more wieght after each of my 3, wonderful children, 10 years or more apart and then midlife happened. I need help getting my body into a healthy condition for myself and my family. It is time to create a more positive routine in my life, if I am going to get my body fat down to where it should be. I have been hesitant to commit to most of the fad diets that have come around (and many gone). Hello Joel, I picked up your cheat your way thin program and was impressed on how there are ways to trick your body to get results in fat loss. I never knew that cheating would burn more fat that staying in the starvation mode. I am a certified fitness trainer and am always looking for new information for myself and my clients. I have heard you speak about this system and I know the results from this will be a success. I would love to have this program because if cheat your way thin did it, then I know this will bring me even more success. I’m a young teenager who has tried many many diets and failed at every one of them. You may think i am too young to worry about my figure or such but believe me I have become frustrated and nervous all the time looking at my friends who can just wear anything they want and simply look amazing … whereas i have to wear jeans in summer because i am aware of my excess fat. I hate to shop for clothes because it’s painful whenever i like something and it just doesn’t fit and i have had enough of that. I am very interested in what you sent me so far and i have hope that this time it is something that i can truly rely on. I have been working out pretty faithfully the last two years. I am ready to lose that last 10 pounds of fat. I never really thought about how eating for your exercise would really allow you to drop the weight even quicker. After some thought I realized that I don’t do that. In fact, I am confused about it. What should I eat on the days I lift heavier weights as opposed to a day I would do a dynamic work out? I don’t know. Your program would allow me to connect the dots with my diet and exercise and use them together to lose the last few pounds of fat. (I want to look awesome in my swimsuit this summer so bad!)

Three days of weight training and Two days of Aerobics and I am doing this for almost 6 months and see almost NO results. I think I am not loosing weight . because of my thyroids (underactive) issue. Hey, Joel.

As of February I had my thyroid completely removed. The gland was cancerous and more was found in the lymph glands. Since the thyroidectomy, and the intervening adjustment of synthroid, my weight ballooned up forty pounds.

With having a newborn baby, and two step kids to chase aound all day, plus, working and trying to help my wife maintain her sanity, I need to shed the weight quickly and permanently.
