I’ve struggled with my weight for the past 15 years. Last year – I started a biggest loser program at work – and convinced 22 other employees to join the competition. Hey, I’m Arne and i’m 17 years old. My apologises for my bad English but my main language is Dutch. The reasen why I need this program is not myself. My parents are in serious trouble. Their bmi is around 37 and 39. They have a lot of trouble with dieting. They always are motivated for one month and then they quit. They want to continue dieting and they are motivated enough but their body can’t resist the food. They lose every week around 4 lbs but they have to stop after a month because their body. They constantly are grumbling at each other because they are fat and laughing with it. I turn 60 in just over 3 months. I never had a problem with the milestone birthdays, 30, 40 or 50, were no big deal. For some reason turning 60 is having an effect on me. To combat the emotions, i.e. depression, I have vowed to be in the best shape of my life on my 60th birthday. I have been religiously going to the gym every day and eating clean, but the results have not been at a rate fast enough to achieve my goal. I was always curvy and was so confident about myself. When I was about 20 years old, I was drugged and physically and sexually assaulted. I completely shut down. I shut out my friends and my family. And I never wanted to be looked at again. So I hid out from the world basically ate myself an extra person. I’m 32 now. Only in the last 2 years have I been coming out of my haze and getting the help I need. On my own, in a very hard struggle, I lost 90 pounds. I have 65 pounds to go. After TONS of counseling and personal development, I finally feel good about getting back to the confident person I used to be. Part of that is losing the last 65 pounds and getting back my body. I really really want to do this! I have tried different types of weight loss programs like Weight Watchers, Atkins etc… They all work for a while just like you mentioned and then you stall out, get frustrated, and quit. I would like to lose about 15 -20lbs and be able to see the muscle under the layer of fat that just won’t go away. I am so excited about the plan because of the information you have provided. I am a 42 year old father of two awesome boys and married to a beautiful 24 year old Filipina. Over time I have let my body and health slip. Just before Christmas I was feeling terrible so I broke down and went to the doctor. My blood pressure and cholesterol were extremely high. When I was younger I was in good shape as I was a member of the military but with lifes demands and time constraints the pounds started to pile up and soon I was no longer a fit 5-10 170 pounds but 5-10 320 pounds. I have lost weight through exercise and right now am 298 pounds but have been stuck at this weight for close to a month with no progress. I should add that I am 42 years old, a type 2 diabetic, take blood pressure medication, and sleep with a bipap breathing machine. I desperately want to get this weight off and it seems exercise has taken me so far and now I need to understand how to eat correctly to get the rest of the weight off. I really want to get off these medications, and enjoy the remaining years of my life with my wife and kids thank you for your help.

Hey Joel. I am a 13 soon to be 14 year old boy who has been overweight all his life. I have continuously heard the word fat and it haunts me everyday. I want to play football but dont think i can due to my incapability to run much due to my fat. I have been trying to lose weight but i have never succeeded because i dont eat right and i dont know what to eat. I hit 62 in January, and if I don’t get in better shape pretty soon I won’t be a happy camper when I get to 80 as I intend to do. I survived 9/11 and then cancer, so I don’t want my fat to do me in. Your program seems intelligent and based on the latest research. I expect I might have to adapt the exercises to my capacities at first, but hope to be able to take them full strength after the first five weeks. I adapted well to high intensity workouts when I could aford a personal trainer. By the way, I expect to continue to lose when I am not dieting, because I will be in better condition, with a higher metabolism, and more active. The fact that every day has a different routine takes care of the boredom factor, which I find a particular drag in the long haul.

I am that girl that wants the lean muscle and ripped abs and I have been busting my tail working out to get it and have been unsuccessful in achieving the lean body that I have long desired. I’m the girl in the picture wanting to be like Flavia and sport a rocking beach body with a lean body and awesome muscle definition. I am motivated when I workout and I workout hard. I have been told this by trainers I have worked out with but I still fail to see the fat loss that I am expecting or the weight loss. For me it’s not about being a certain weight or size I want that lean body look with abs that I would be proud to show off instead of cover every chance I get and I believe that this program can help me achieve that goal.

At 5’9″, I was a whopping 220 lbs and 29% BF only a few years ago. Through diet and exercise , I drooped to 15% and 175 lbs. I am just 17 years old and i have got this irritating thing over my Abdominal muscles that just wont go! I do abdominal exercizes along with cardio and at first the result showed but after 2 Abs the other 4 never showed. I became a vegetarian 4 years ago without any difficulty at all. So I figured if I could cut meat out of my diet 100%, how hard could cutting junk food out be? Well, turns out it’s a heck of a lot harder than I had planned. I love being a vegetarian and snacking on tons of veggies and fresh fruits, but when it comes to my sweet tooth, it’s save to say I have zero self control. I’m tired of feeling guilty after having that second piece of chocolate cake or one to many oreo cookies.
