I have just got into fitness and exercise seriously in the last year. I have been skinny-fat all my life and decided to change that once and for all this past fall. I have been working on building muscle the most, since that is what I find most difficult. However, although I have had some really good success and have put on a great amount of muscle I know that when I finish this phase in about 6 weeks I will definitely need to lose some fat. I want to get both muscular and ripped and I know that to really do that I need to get to a lower body fat level. However, this doesn’t seem to be as easy as I thought and I know that I need the guidance of someone who knows what works. I would love to have the chance to use your systems to get the body of my dreams.

Dear Joel, I’m a 55 year old Wife & Mother of 2 children. I’m 5’1″ tall and 200-205lbs, so I’m morbidly overweight. I’ve been morbidly overweight for the last 20 years. I have lost weight & put it back on many times over the years with every weightloss system available.
I’m really tired of feeling this way. I don’t want to feel fat anymore. I want to feel & look attractive for myself & my husband. Let’s face it, I wasn’t this way when I first met my husband & eventually married him. I would love him to look at me that “special way” again.

I’ve made a promise to myself to lose body fat and lean down. I have been dieting and working out consistently but the results are very disappointing. Measuring myself yesterday, I only lost .3% bodyfat; currently I am at 24.3% and I have a goal to first get down to 14% and then a healthy 8%. However, my currently plan isn’t really working (not very well or fast enough) and I’ve been searching for a guy with the answers to really help me take the next step. not only is losing body fat important for my image but I have type 2 diabetes in my family and I am determined not to inherit it; so far, it has not appeared and I’m making sure it wont with your help!

For many years I kept my weight at a healthy level, had an excellent exercise program that gave both strenth and stamina. Six years ago, I had a heart attack that was almost fatal. I survived against all odds, primarily due to the exercise and diet. Now, I am fighting to keep my weight down, and am feeling the effects of the battle. I work as a counselor with young people, and many have problems with being overweight. It affects them in a wholistic way, even to how well they respond to counseling. I want this program for myself for obvious reasons, but more, I want to have real, accurate information to guide the kids I work with into healthy choices with food and exercise, as well as guiding them through the presenting problems they bring to me. A healthy body and mind makes for a resilient person.

Well… everytime I poke my finger into my tummy, it always feels like I’m sinking it into a soft pillow until BAM… it hits something hard. The worse thing is, I KNOW that underneath it all… there IS a fit ‘n’ curvy inner me. The problem lies in the fact that I don’t know just how to:

I always get real motivated when I feel that I could do it… but then I see some slim girl at the train station dig into a packet of chips or roll of cookies, I give in to despair… why can’t that be ME? Why I need your program?
14 years ago I participated in a Body Transformation Contest with a couple other guys, I succeeded and looked AWESOME with a Six-pak and 5% body fat. I am frustrated. I have been 5’8″ 152 pounds give or take for 2 years. I have been eating clean and no weight has come off. I need to lose that last 10 pounds.

I need your system because I’m 100 pounds overweight. My weight has been going up and down by about 70 pounds per year. Yes, 70. I am a 25 year old full time college student trying to achieve a fitness model physique. I have the body type to achieve this goal, but I am at a plateau right now. I eat well and eat between 5-6 meals a day (small). I have been reading all your Updates/Reports and I want to know more about the technique of the Cheat day followed by a fast day and an intense workout to intensify the fat loss process. When I hit menopause, I was horrified that I packed on thirty pounds and the usual “tricks” wouldn’t take them off. I’ve battled plus 20 all my life, and it was now winning, and hten some! So I got online, researched weight loss physiology and stitched together what I thought was a solution, including the “cheat day”. I’ve lost 20, more or less, but it seems precarious, it doesn’t feel permanent, something I have to be constantly vigilant or the weight creeps back; I have no strength, no energy, and don’t feel toned, so I’m missing something. I just got married 5 weeks ago TODAY!!!! My husband is very into working out & nutrition. I have read him the information from your website & e-books & he says, “Baby, that’s what I have been telling you!” Yes, Joel, he HAS beed telling me the same principles but I am NOT losing fat and NOT gaining muscle!

I am an intelligent woman, in good physical shape and yet I feel like an IDIOT when it comes to applying various diet and exercise principles to myself! Why am I not getting the results that others do following the same diet/exercise regimen?

I want to feel great about myself and I want my husband to ALWAYS be proud to have married me! Intellectually, your program makes sense; patience-wise, I need to just jump in & try it and TRUST you…. no, trust myself! I am currently eating dry-grilled chicken breasts, sweet potatoes, salads with balsamic vinegar and oatmeal and THAT is it! And I dont’t have to tell you…. I am NOT losing fat even though I am working out with my husband and doing cardio 6 days a week!

Hey, Joel. I’m an early-thirties guy in decent shape, but I can’t seem get really lean. I try hard to eat well and train smartly, but I can’t seem to win the battle around my midsection. I’m not afraid of hard work, but I think I need to work smarter, not harder. I’m completely convinced that your program would work for me because it seems to make sense. I’d love to see my body kick into fat burning mode in regular cycles. BUT HERE’S THE BIGGEST REASON WHY I HAVEN’T BOUGHT YOUR PROGRAM YET: While I am sure it could get me from the fairly-lean to ripped (at least for a while), I’m doubtful that it will help me change my life. That is, I don’t see your program as conducive to a lifestyle change as much as ideal for a small window of time to get lean, then put the pounds back on. If you let me try your program and make a believer out of this skeptic, I’ll be one of your biggest advocates.

I was 313 lbs (54% body fat) when I started and am now 253 lbs at 44% body fat. And that was lost (and never to be found again!) in 6 months, but with the use of expensive meal replacement aids.

I am still at an extreme point and still need something extreme to keep me motivated to get to my goals, but not just anything will do. I want to work smarter with my body’s natural processes and not just harder. I will be 40 in June and my next goal is to drop 20 lbs so that I can be a size 16 by my birthday. I have been trying to lose weight for the past year. I have tried everything from eating less to changing my diet and getting plenty of exercise. I last about 15 lbs. and gained it right back. Kim Lyons has spoken highly of the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet System and I figured that I would have to try it. I would very much like to take the weight off and get into some of my smaller fitting clothes again. With summer around the corner, I would like to wear some shorts and go to the lake and the beach and look good in a swimsuit. I feel that this weight loss system will work if I give it a try.

I’m 51 years old and carrying an extra 20 pounds. I know that is not a lot of extra weight, but it is too much for me. I need to lose this extra weight for good for the following reasons:
1. Ensure I am as healthy I can be for my current age and as I continue to grow older.
2. So I can l look more physically attractive for my wife.
3. I need to keep up with my grandkids now and as they age this will be even more important.
4. Less weight, more energy for everything else I do, work, spending time in outdoor sports, volunteering.

This plan sounds like it will work well for me not just to help and guide me in losing these 20 pounds quickly, but in keeping this weight off and my weight down over the long term which is the really important part of any program.

I’m approaching seniorhood at almost 62 years old, and having been overweight now for the past 32 years, it’s getting harder and harder to lose the weight. I’ve tried countless weight loss systems and diets and have lost weight on some of them, but I’ve always gained it back, plus more. Over the past 12 years, I’ve been diagnosed with diabetes, cervical spondylosis, meralgia paresthetica, fibromyalgia, osteo-arthritis in my hands and knees, and I just had knee surgery to file down a large bone spur on my kneecap. I have to walk with a cane. I can’t work outside the home anymore due to my various health issues, and I’ve been declared legally disabled. My mother died of heart disease, so I’m a high risk candidate for heart failure, if I don’t loose at least 40 pounds to relieve the pressure on my heart muscle and values, according to my cardiologist. So, my genetics, along with the other conditions and diseases attacking my body, makes it imperative that I loose weight if I want to live as productive a life as possible for the years I have remaining. I hear tell that honesty is the best policy. With that in mind, I’ll tell you that I very much like the sound of your program but I fear it’s not for me. I’m 61 years old and obese – about 225 pounds and only 5 feet, 6 inches tall. What am I doing aspiring to try a program like yours? Judging by the presentations given by you and your friends, it appears to be targeting a younger clientele, but, nonetheless, I’d love to give it a shot.

I’ve always been a little chubby when I was a kid. In my early teen I started to wear really big clothes to cover it up. Eventually I tried to do something about it and started to play soccer, go swimming, go cross-country skiing and even tried to starve myself by eating only fruits but to no avail. When I was about to graduate from highschool I found Arnel and his workout routine and tried it out but the results were poorly. Now when I’ve graduated and got a job it’s worse than ever, I’m sitting behind a desk for 8 hours or more! My bodyfat is close to 30%, I’ve started having chest pains. I wake up in the middle of the night with goosebumps and covered in sweat. And now my girlfriend is graduating in June and I do not want to look like a slob by her side.

“You look like my uncle” – How would you feel if your wife gives you this comment? Depressed? Demotivated? Frustrated? I felt the same way but I took this as a challenge and decided to look younger than my wife. I made some decent progress but then I hit the roadblock due to the following reasons:
1) Lack of knowledge of science behind it.
2) exercise and diet routine of 12-18 weeks with slow progress
3) staying away from the food I love for a long time
4) strategic approach to lose fat

I want to undergio transformation within a short timeframe so that I can be my 2 year old’s “daddy cool”. I want to hear from my daughter 15 years from now when she looks at our photo’s, “dad you were really very handsome and still are”.

When i came to know about this extreme fat loss program, I was excited as this addresses all my concerns. I can leverage input from years of research done by you, strategically approach the program, get good return on investment (time), eat my favourite food once in every 5 days and educate myself on science behind this. What else do I need?

If I can achieve result within 25 days, I can convince/influence people around me who are fat, obese and sick of their growing belly fat.

Joel, let’s see if your program can turn around a 54 year old guy in a life and workout rut of grand proportion. The main component of my diet is sugar and regret. There are a couple key issues to deal with. Though I’m reasonably healthy despite my recent poor diet, I can’t do weights and exercise to the level of my younger self. Also, joints pose an issue as well. They rebel after too much work. I need a program that can be adjusted to my particular needs. I can do the work. Can you provide the blueprint?

I am a football player in college and really need to lose my fat and get bigger and look better. I need this so i have a chance of starting next year. As I start a new decade of life this year (50), I realize that I may not make it through it in the shape that I am in. Losing 50-70 pounds would be a big benefit to my life. Most of it I carry around the middle. Whenever I do lose weight that is the last area that it disappears. Legs, shoulders, face but not the stomach area. This usually results in frustration and quitting. This could be the program that brings it full circle for me.
