Hi Joel,
I’m your classic up and down, gain and shed the same 30 lbs. over a three year period person. Now at 52 and a grandmother, I have lost 22 of the usual 30 but I’m stuck. My body wants to stay at 158 and I know I need to be less than that. I have always be able to exercise (mostly aerobic) and diet to reach my goal but this is not the case anymore. My body is fighting back to hold on the extra pounds. Recently I learned about how weightlifting and aerobic exercise can help shed pounds while gaining muscle. I started using the weightlifting machines and freeweights at the gym. I’m amazed to see that my arms, legs and middle section are showing signs of toning up. I don’t want it to stop here, I would like to continue to drop my weight and build more toned muscle. I would love to see 135 again. I don’t want to be a tired old granny. I want to be strong, healty and in control of my life. I might even like to turn a head or two, Hah!
All the inofrmation you have shared so far makes total sense and I have seen results in my limited ability to workout. I would love to learn the entire system. Thanks for taking the time to do the research and create a program that will help so many people get healthy, look great and like who they are.
Sincerely,
Lisa Jackson

No, long drawn out story. Quite simply, at the age of 40 I have decided to change from the field of education to law enforcement. Something I have always wanted to do and my 6 year old thinks it’s awesome that his dad wants to be a police officer. The rapid fat loss program would help me get rid of as much excess fat as possible which will help me with the physical agility testing as well as once I get into the academy. I am a naturally very muscular (5’7″, 250 lbs), so to get as light and as mobile as I can I have to drop weight and I would rather get rid of bodyfat, rather than muscle that could actually end up saving my laugh one day.

Joel,
I am very excited about your program, but will it work for a 56 year old post menopausal woman? I have seen some of the success stories, but they appear to be much younger and not starting with such a deficit. I have always been thin but after going through menopause, my metabolism tanked. My height is 5’4”. My weight shot up from 123 to 156 lbs with my body fat at 33% in about 1 year. Heart and cardiovascular issues are what runs in my family and with a high fat percentage I am a candidate for stroke or heart attack. I have tried diet and/or exercise only to stop the weight gain, but not making any headway on reducing. I know I need something to help me reach my goal of 20% body fat. Many programs that I have researched offer minimal, if any results when dealing with post menopause metabolism issues. If you think that there is a possibility that the program would work for me, I would love to be your poster child for the middle aged woman.

I’m 57 years old. All the weight loss programs seem to be by young folks who are convinced that they’ll work for everyone. But age makes a difference! I need a bigger kick to my metabolism and motivation to stick to an eating program that will actually work, not one where the minute I cheat all the weight piles back on. I also need specific guidance about how to work out safely, yet effectively, as I have reached the age of aches and pains and am hoping to find a way to keep on working out without hurting. My daughter’s wedding looms in 16 weeks, as well. I’d like to see 41% fat composition drop significantly before then!

I must be the perfect candidate for your programme. I am 43, 5’5″ and weigh 150 pounds. Before children, my weight was a steady 126-130, but for 16 years (yes, I know!) I have been unable to shift the extra 20 pounds. Here’s what I’ve tried: low fat diets, Atkins, Meal replacements, lowfat/low carb, slimming clubs, healthy eating etc etc. Here’s what happens: week 1 lose maybe 2 pounds, great start! Week 2, lose 1 pound (ok, slow but steady, thats ok) Week 3 half to 1 pound, still ok. Week 4 nothing Week 5 nothing. Week 6 gain1(or more) pounds. Week 7-8 back to original weight- how the heck did that happen?!! Having followed the latest diet to the letter, at this point I give up, whilst mentally condemning myself as a failure. Interestingly, having given up, and returned to normal eating habits, I don’t gain any further weight. HELP!! I am very active, brisk walking for a minimum of 1 hour a day, plus doing 3 cardio/ weights workouts a week, however my body looks soft and flabby-Why do I bother? Do I just give up and resign myself to a body I have to keep covered up, or is there any hope for me ? Can this programme work where all others have failed?

hey joel, i like what you in your free fat loss pamphlet. I have tried many diets, and like you said my body counter attacks me sends me into starvation mode. just last week i weighed 173 and now 180lbs, i am 6 ”1” 23 yrs. old, never had a girlfriend or never been kissed b/c i am self conscious about myself, i have very very low self esteem, the doctor diagnosed me w/ body dismorphia, and my family and I are going to the Jersey Shore in July, and i’m hoping to have a six pack and good body by then, hoping that will help me w/ my confidence, and self- esteem, and maybe a girl might kiss me i can only hope. well joel thanks a lot, and good luck choosing.

Hey Joel. I think this program would help me with my goal to shed some weight, and feel better about myself. I have gained a good 40 pounds in the last 3 years after i stopped playing rugby. I got really lazy and drank way to much. I decided i needed to make some huge changes in my life after last summer I suffered a paraumbilical hernia. The direct cause of it was the nasty weight i had gained. I think your program would be great for me. I tried other programs like P90x, and achived a little sucsses. I followed it 100%, gave it 110% effort, and only lost 12 pounds a 3/4 of a inch of my waist. I’m just looking for a program that gives me everything i need to reach my goal of 30 more pounds, and give me a better sense of well being, and just to be a healthier person. Thanks

Joel,
I have numerous reasons to need your program- I’m in my 40’s and find it hard to lose the weight that I’ve put on over the last 20 years. I’m over 100 pounds overweight, and on my small frame, every pound shows. I’m beginning to develop weight related injuries and illnesses….
…but most of all, I don’t want my four sons to be embarrassed to be seen with me anymore. Can you help?

I am a 46 year old mother of two (both will be in college next fall). I have struggled with my weight for almost my whole life. I am currently about 120lbs overweight and nothing I have done has had any long term success. My daugter graduates in 48 days and I would love to lose 25 pounds of fat by then to look just a little bit better. I have fairly extensive arthritis so joint pounding exercises are not possible for me. I am willing to work hard if there is going to be a positive result but I have tried literally everything except surgery and I am almost ready to give up and learn to live with being fat. The things that I have read about your program have given me hope that this program will be the one that works.

In 2000, I weighed 296.7 at 5’4″. Today I weigh 192. I’ve worked, starved and prayed off 100 pounds in 10 years. I know your program is the key to being able to lose the last 50 pounds in 1 year. I started the Fat Burning Furnace workouts a month ago, but I need the details of your program to get results faster.

I’ve been keeping an eye and ear on what you have to say regarding weight loss and most of It I’ve heard and agree with completely. This brings me to the conclusion that you fat loss system would be easy for me to interpret and follow. I really think that with your system, I could reach my weight loss goals, finally! I would be more than willing to provide you with before and after shots to show what your system has done for me. I’m 27 and I’ve never been more aware of what I do and don’t eat and the benefits of a well rounded meal. I have nothing going on to stop me from fully dedicating myself to your system. Thank you in advance!
Jacob S.

After numerous year’s of injuries which has limited me to minimul training over the past, this is the ideal programme to get me back into the shape I was in when I represented my country in a School’s World Cup in Peru.
To follow this super Programme, you know you are gaureenteed all the result’s that you are aiming for

Hi Joel – I am a 43 year old mother of two. I was in great shape in my younger years, but following a car accident in 2005 and subsequent surgery in 2006 I was not able to exercise. I was depressed due to chronic pain and the inability to be active. I gained about 75 pounds and lost my fitness. I have now recovered from all that and have resolved to get my former self back. The person I see in the mirror is not the “me” in my head. I also want to be an example of health and fitness to my two daughters who are now in middle school. Since Jan. 1, I have lost 35 pounds on my own, but really need a plan to get me back in shape and fit and toned. I still have a way to go and a layer of fat that I need to lose. Your program is just what I need to keep me on track and to help me regain myself. Thank you in advance, Tammy

Joel- I hope you can help. I have been overweight most of my life and tried a lot of things to take care of it. A year ago I had band surgery and thought this was my salvation until I really started looking at what I was doing.
As much as I want to look good, that isn’t my motivation. I really want to get and stay healthy so I can enjoy time with my kids and future grandchildren and I don’t feel like what i am doing is achieving that. I follow the surgeon and dietician’s advice and am not getting the results I want. I know my body is unhappy and I want to be able to do the right things for it. I’m fascinated by your program especially the cheat days and I know it will be just the thing I need to get the body I want and be healthy and active for a long while.

Thanks

At nearly 60 years of age I still have a very youthful appearance and no gray hair. What I do have is FAT! I have been sedentary for many years and it has taken its toll in the form of extra weight. I began to take my weight seriously about 2 months ago and have been eating smart, exercising daily and lifting weights for strength training daily. I have displaced some fat and put on some muscle. So far I have lost about 15 lbs. I would sure like to accelerate that fat loss and I have decided that this stuff is coming off no matter what! My wife has joined me in this endeavor and it has recharged her batteries as well!

Joel,
I have really appreciated you past few e-mails. I feel like I have learned a lot so far (that I didn’t already know)! I was shocked to hear about something as simple as a massive calorie deficit after a cheat day (or that cheat days should exist at all), and the pre-cheat secrets. These things were so interesting to me because I hadn’t considered the necessity of an inadequate negative calorie balance. I am 23, in my second semester of graduate school, and have lately been so overwhelmed that my exercise routine has kind of been MIA… While working on my undergraduate degree I punished my body, for lack of better words, by drinking excessively… not smart, I know, but I’m ready to fix it.
The main reason I am in desperate need for your knowledge and information is because I am ready to get back into shape and am not having great luck doing it alone! I don’t want to cut my life any shorter than I already have by putting this extra pressure on my heart. The second reason I NEED this information is because I realize how competitive the job market is out there and let’s be honest, appearance counts. I would argue that appearance has a lot to do with getting the job when you and someone else may be down to the final two. After all, who appears to be more hard working (or less lazy) the fat applicant or the fit one?
Thanks!

Joel, Help! I want to get 30 pounds off FAST! I’m desperate to get the pounds off that I’ve gained since quitting smoking. I put on 40 pounds, argh. I was able to get 10 pounds off last month but now the scale won’t budge. Please help me get my toned, fit body back and fast. My 50th birthday is just around the corner on June 4th and I’m running out of time to lose the weight! I want to fit into the saucey, little black dress I bought myself for motivation! Help me reclaim my body so I can look good and feel good on my 50th B-Day. I am willing and able! Smiles, Denise

I’ve read all your emails, and I’ve gotten really excited about this book/workout/diet/lifestyle approach to achieving your goals on many levels. As a 28-year-old woman who spend many hours at a desk, I’ve found that a need something motivating to get be back in the swing of exercise. My standards are high, so i’m eager to look the best i possible can. I love sweets, pizza and burgers, so i’m excited that this plan incorporates these foods. Thanks for your positively, enthusiasm and encouragement.

I am a woman in my mid-30s who has steadily gained about 30lbs in the last 10 years. I am active and have started working with a trainer in the last 4 months to help get toned and smaller for my wedding in July (and beyond!). I have built muscle and gotten a lot stronger but none of the fat is coming off and my measurements have not moved. I need that boost, kickstart, whatever it is that it looks to me will come from your program! I want to look how I feel!

I am a stay at home mom of a busy little 20month old. I’ve been working at losing that last bit of baby weight and trying to get my muscles and body built back up as a way to prepare before getting pregnant with the next baby. I want to go into my next pregnancy fit and knowing how to best take care of myself and have a plan for after having the baby to get back into shape as quickly as possible. I’ve lost most of my weight, but it’s taken a good 20 months to get this far. My husband and I both need help to know how to best lose weight and we need to know the right kind of workouts to get maximum benefits. We try to eat decent, but it doesn’t always happen. I’ve tried Power 90 and currently I’m doing 3 different workouts by Jillian Michaels. I’m doing what I know to do, but I need help knowing the most efficient and effective way to eat and workout to get my best results. From what I’ve read between you and Dr. K, it sounds like you guys have the keys I’ve been looking for. I want to be that hot sexy mom my husband married and my kids are proud to show off when they get older!

Thanks for considering me, I really appreciate it and all the help you’ve already given!
Cari

Joel- I am one of the hard working ladies you need to be one of your testimonials for your xtreme fat loss diet system. At 230 lbs I’d had enough, I literally worked my tail off with a ketosis diet and little to no support. At 160 lbs I hit a plateau for the last 3 months. I am a student working on my nursing degree. I understand your strategies and have the mind set to make any thing work. There are no failures only lessons that bring you closer to your goals. I am willing to release the need for me in carrying this excess weight. Winning a copy of your program will give me even more motivation and accountability. Please give me a chance to make you and myself proud of what I can accomplish with some guidance.

I have been following DSP for 10 weeks and have lost 5 pounds. I overdid my last cheat day and lost some ground. I now weigh 165, and I want to weigh 130 to 135 pounds, as I did 45 years ago. I have high blood pressure, and my mother became diabetic in middle age. I need to learn the best strategy for losing my excess weight.

To be honest, I don’t know if your program can help me, but the concepts seem like this may be what I need. I’ve been lifting weights for more than 10 years, walking 2-4 miles a day, and follow a pretty darn good diet. This may be enough for most people, and was for me for years, but over the last few years I have put on over 10 pounds. My usual approach isn’t working — and I’d like to hit that 60th birthday feeling healthy and looking fabulous. Not every program is designed for us “older” folks, but those of us who want to stay fit and active need some special advice! I’m hoping your program is it.

Hi Joel, I am 41 years of age, 5 ft 3 inches. have always been athletic, even today I play hockey twice a week. It seems my body will not let me loose my last 10 lbs of fat. I am attending a wedding in Cuba in 3 weeks and I have been doing my eliptical for an hour at least 6 days a week, near starving myself, I was 152lbs when I started in January, I was able to get down to 132lbs I am not a tall women so I feel I should be able to reach at least 120lbs but I have been at 132 for 2 months, I am not seeing any changes. It is so frustrating to work so hard and not see any results and with only 3 weeks left I have given up, thinking my body is just going to stay soft. I would really like to strut my stuff on the beach and feel confident. I have just run out of ideas to get through the plateau. I am not afraid of hard work and have tried so many diets and work out programs, only to be bored and I do beleive I have destroyed my metabolism. I need a program that will heal my body so it is effecient. From the exerpts you have been sending, it’s sounds like you finally cracked it. I would love to implement your program into my life so everyone at the wedding could see my progress with your program in the next 3 weeks.
I thank you for listening.
Karen

I have struggled with weight my entire life. I have tried every diet and workout program there is. I eat extremely healthy and workout 5-6 days every week, even on vacation. If I eat a bit of anything unhealthy, I seem to gain a few pounds which then takes me months to lose again. Its extremely frustrating to work so hard and constantly watch every bite I put in my mouth and nothing working in my favor. I have hired trainers who scratch their heads looking at my diet and workout program, I’ve tested my thyroid and tried everything. Please help!
