I want to educate my family and friends about the common misconceptions of nutrition and training. I’ve been following your principles for awhile now, own Roman’s FPFL program and Cheat To Be Lean. My wife and I motivate each other in our fitness and eating habits. We are very excited to learn and implement the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet!

Hi Joel, Twelve years ago I was stopped in my car at a crosswalk, I was rearended by a gentleman that was talking on his cell, doing 65MPH, I was in a coma for a month, woke up, was told my neck, back, lumar, pelvis, & left hip
were all broken, I also had a dislocated shoulder, fractured skull, & when the
force of the my stopping when it ran into a house sent me back against the seat,it came out of the floor & my left foot was caught under the dash & shattered, rebuilt with hip bone chips & titanium clips all down spine. Told I had 1 in a million chance of walking, 13 months later walked out of the hospital, on a walker…but went in at 195LBS. came out at 307 Now walk OK except on stairs & can do light weights…down to 269, but still depressed and in reading your updates, your program sounds like what I need to guide me back under 200LBS. Obviously this weight is not good for my foot, back neck,
heart, or the phase 2 Diabetes, HBP, high cholesterol that I have created by not getting rid of all of this fat…believe me, not a pretty picture at only 5’8″

I have been on the dreaded see-saw. Start to do good, then weight creeps back on, down and up. Last summer my family and I went on a camping trip to Maine. We did a lot of walking and hiking. I am 45 and found myself struggling to keep up with my husband, my 19(then 18) year old son and my 16(then 15) year old daughter. I would tell them to go on ahead and I will catch up. I was out of breath and my legs felt like they were going to fall off. It was terrible, I couldn’t keep up with my family, I am a photographer and could get many pictures of them because by the time I got to some place nice, they were ready to move on. My son finally said to me, “Mom, don’t you want to be around for your grandchildren?” That struck a nerve with me, yes I want to be around for my grandchildren (I’m not ready yet, we have plenty of time for that.) So I started trying to eat smarter and work out with weights and doing cardio. I have seen some gains but I hit a wall and change to something else. I find there are too many different things to find the right approach, your Xtreme Fat Loss Diet System looks like the answer for me. Thank you.

I want this because i finally got my cousins and friends to join the gym and want to get them some fast results so they wont just quit after a few weeks of training or get discouraged because results didnt come as fast as they would like. I want this program for myself so i can be the example for them to see and have living proof that anything is possible once you have the right information and determination to meet your goals. I am going on vacation the end of next month and i want to hit the beach ripped & shredded… I have 25 days and i want to lose the last 15lbs to get ripped and this plan seems like it is just what i would need.

I have being a “dieter for life” and yesterday I just turned 31. I am ready to go to the next level! Four years ago I hit my weightloss goal of 50# and have been doing pretty well keeping it off. In the past year and half I have been diagnosed with exercise induced asthma (no wonder I could never make it through a whole workout), been through a divorce and started going 3 times a week to bootcamp. Right now I know there are some nice abs under that last layer somewhere.

I think your system is just what I need to put all of the pieces together.

After reading the posts of others, your task of choosing 5 recipients looks impossible! So many have such outstanding reasons for wanting your program, I almost didn’t bother posting. Then, I looked down and saw my disgusting man boobs. I graduate with my Ph.D. in just over 90 days, and I just bought a black t-shirt to wear under my regalia, on ONE condition: THE MOOBS MUST GO! I’ve made serious muscle gains on Vince’s program in the last year, and now I need to shed 25 pounds of fat for that Big Day circled in red on my calendar. Truth is, I’m not in the “Top 5” of deserving people, but I will use your program even if I pay full price for it, because I WILL BE SHREDDED when my friends and family see me on my graduation day! I’m a 35 year old woman who has struggled with excess weight all my life. I think maybe when I was 14 and going through Chemo, the doctors telling me I had to gain weight to prepare for my next treatment and to stay as healthy as possible through those treatments hasn’t quite left me. So here I am years later still doing that and finding myself overweight. I eat lots of veggies, steamed or in salads, I prefer my meats to be baked or grilled, and I prefer brown rice over white. I hardly ever eat fried foods or fast foods. Still, I am about 50lbs overweight. I really need your help! What am I doing wrong? I could really use some guidance for the everyday little choices we all make. I bought my very first home (All by myself! Yay!) and would like to be able to eat healthy and exercise in my home so that I can reach my goals of feeling energized and fit. I really think your program can help me reach those goals! I’m a massage therapist, so I understand the human body, anatomy AND physiology, and what I’ve read of your Xtreme Fat Loss Secrets makes absolute sense. I’ve tried a lot of diet and exercise approaches over the years with some success but NEVER achieved the body I wanted (even in retrospect). I’m losing weigt now, but need to get LEAN and MUSCLED. And how ironic is this? I OWN A PIZZERIA (the ‘seeming’ source of my weight gain…OR IS IT?) right next to a GYM. I’d LOVE to tell the world that my food could be the SECRET to their SUCCESS (and MINE!).

This program seems different from every diet I have ever tried. I am discouraged from all the crazy diets out there and am looking for something different, a program that makes sense, one that really works. I have battled with my weight all my life, I now see my 18 year old daughter taking the same path I did and I find it very discouraging. I am hopeful that this new program will be a new way of life, something feasible, sensible. I have vowed never to go on a diet again and I will not but I am excited to try your program which seems anything but another diet craze.

One year ago, I was in a great shape, going to a gym 3 – 4 days a week. Then I had a car accident that resulted in a very painful lower-back injury and months of physical therapy. I finally feel better and I am SOOO ready to start living again. But, ooops, during those almost inactive months, I gained 15 pounds that I have been trying to loose during last month, but so far, it did not budge. I need help! I would like to win this to not only help myself, but my sister. I am 50 lbs overweight, but she is closer to 150. She is also on meds that do not help her to lose weight. She tried out for the TV show, but was not selected and with training, I feel we could do this together and be our own show. I would like to help her before she hits menopause age as I am. It makes it just that much harder. I know she would love to surprise her Marine daughter with a terrifice weight reduction and firm up.

Within the last two years I have managed to lose 110 pounds. Although this is a great achievement by it’s self; I lost muscle and am still very fleshy and flabby. I have tried many other diets but can never stick to them as they always leave me drained and hungry with no energy to get done what I need to do in my day. It makes it even harder to get to the gym when I am so drained by the end of the day I just want to go home and sleep. Just turned 40 and am coming off a knee & shoulder surgery. In my youth, staying fit wasn’t a problem, but now that I have to be more careful with my knees and, to a lesser extent, shoulder, I need a smarter plan. I can and do still exercise regularly, but I need an effective nutrition plan and complimentary exercise plan to get back into shape. I’ve got a big summer vacation planned, so I need something extreme that will get my but in shape to wear a swimsuit with confidence this summer. I can push myself, but it seems as I get older, I need to be smarter to avoid further injuries that put my fitness at greater risk.

Shit, man, I just want to lose the last 20 pounds. I don’t have a story other than that brother.

I am a 28-year-old mother of one and am currently in a PhD program in Biological Sciences (Molecular and Cell Biology) – I am busy. I come from a large family – both in numbers and size – but I decided to take a proactive approach to control my weight and have not had as many problems as the rest of my siblings (most of which are borderline obese). They are always asking me how to lose weight, what exercises programs work, etc. I am NOT a physical trainer or nutritionist, but I do the best I can, and have tried to get them to follow the Body for Life program. I am always skeptical of new “diets” or “programs” that promise amazing results, and yours is no different. Since I study the human body (and read lots of research papers), I know what damage that most diets do – my sister still hasn’t recovered. I want to give myself and my family something that will WORK that doesn’t involve starving ourselves and incorporates workouts we CAN DO and don’t take HOURS! If this program works, I think that I could get my family on board because I could show them how to get a “jump start” on fat loss, which would motivate them to continue. As for me I have been trying to lose the last 10 lbs of the baby weight for almost 3 years now and I REALLY, REALLY want it GONE!

Because as a Fire Fighter the lives of other depend on my level of fitness. As I advance in my career I find myself spending more and more time behind a desk, and I find it harder and harder to keep the weight off.

I am a former college athelete that has been trying to get back into shape for the last 5 years! It seems that at least 2-3 times per year I tell myself, “OK this is ridiculous….this time I am going to shed the weight”. This usually comes when I hit 225-230 lbs (I am 6’00”). So I hit the gym, diet, and pray that this will be the time that it works. The weight always comes off so easily until I get to about 210-215 at which point I hit a brick wall.

After reading your materials I am convinced that this is the ONE AND ONLY system out there that will get me back to the 185 lb machine I used to be ;) I am so excited that someone has finally formulated an effective STRATEGY that will make sure that all of my efforts are not wasted! Almost a year ago I was headed out for my two week stint of annual active duty training with the Army National Guard. I was coming away from two of the worst physically fit years of my life. I struggled with back and neck issues, sidelining me from running and regular activity. At 29, I was exhausted, weak, in daily pain and unable to focus. I came home with a new commitment.
