A few years ago, I began a diet and exercise program and lost 73 pounds. Unfortunately, this year I have put 30 pounds back on. It seems much harder to lose the weight this time. I’m 44 and starting to go through peri-menopause. I have gained 25 pounds over the past few years and just can’t seem to get rid of it. I was born the daughter of a poor dirt farmer, and had to walk to school in the snow with no shoes………naw, just kidding, I have no good sob story. I’ve tried a lot of diet programs. Some worked and some didn’t. The ones that did work for me did not give me the total results I was looking for. I would always eventually gain the weight I lost and more back. Your program feels like it’s for life. I think it would help me to change the way I think about food, my lifestyle, and myself. I need to lose a lot of weight and I want to lose it before health issues arise. I also want to be physically fit again. I know my daughter and my husband worry about me. I think your program would help me change my behavioral habits. I feel I could become the lean, sexy machine I was in the past. I’ve been taking care of terminally ill family members for the last 22 years and I deserve to take care of myself now.
Having cut my body weight down from around 255 to 190 I thought I had really done a good job getting into great shape. But the morn I learn the more I really want to be able to take my body and physique to the next level. However it’s that taking it to the next level that seems so difficult. I have been trying so many things, I have tried so low carb I barely even eat broccoli, carb cycling, huge amounts of cardio and just about any other technique under the sun.
For me the most frustrating thing is having people tell me “oh you have done enough, you’re at your limits, think of how much better you look than you used to” and I know I am not! I know my body can go to the next level I know that their pandering while kind hearted is simply not true! The problem? I can’t prove them wrong on my own, I have not been able to take it to that next level so they can just keep saying man just enjoy the progress you have made and accept sometimes a six pack is not in the genetic card deck.

Like many others, I have struggled with losing weight. But as I look back at it now I see it all as part of the journey. One that has led me to this moment in my life. A moment where I am mentally, emotionally and physically ready to make serious change in my life.

Now, I am ready to give my body a huge kick in the but, lose some serious fat, wow my family and friends and maybe have them finally take me seriously when I tell why they should be cooking with coconut oil and butter and not canola oil and how they absolutely must give up all that low fat crap they think is so good for them.

Joel, the reasons that I need this program so badly are many. I am a single father of 3. I recently changed my work schedule around to be with my kids more and my workout time and diet have suffered greatly. I also work a part time job on the nights that I don’t have my kids and I have a ton of sporting events to attend for the kids on my other “nights off.”
This program sounds like it would give me that boost and burning desire to get back in the gym and change the eating habits of my kids and I. I plan on keeping my kids on a healthy eating plan and slowly introducing working out to them. This program would not only benefit me, but my kids too! I need a simple, but firm plan to follow so that I may get back in to shape. I need to set the right example for my kids and my co-workers.

I got my third baby after 40.. its life you know. :)
So, I gained extra weight I never had before. I simply would like to come back to my healthy 130 lb and feel light/energetic. It is also important for me to look as young as I can that my baby girl would never think that her parents are old. People do not recognize that I am after 40 and I would like to keep it in this way.
I’ve been looking for a program with good strategy and tried to avoid extreme diets because I see what my mom did with her metabolism. Normally my body responds very well to an exercise and moderate diet, but it seems that after 40 everything slow down a bit and I need an extra bust, and a smarter approach in this time. I’m 35 years old and i’ve been training and dieting for the last 20 years. I’m really burned out of all the long and intense training sessions. I’ve always had a very good body that people envy, but it costed me quite some time and energy to build and maintain. I’m not 20 anymore and i need something new to keep me going. I abandoned my long trainings and have been following Vince’s program to build muscle and it is really working, by the way. Since you’re good friends with him and all you said so far makes perfect sense, i’m going to follow it through; i wont try. i’ll follow. I am a really active & fit mother of 3. I am a fitness instructor & personal trainer. If you saw me in street clothes you wouldn’t think i was fat. I am 47 and just starting the dreaded MENOPAUSE. Over the years I have gone from a “skinny minny” with a great metabolism to where I am about 30 lbs overweight and I need help. I actually managed to lose about 8 lbs in a 2 month period but I’ve been stalled for a while, not gaining and not losing. I’ve found the secret of how to maintain! LOL

It all sounds so very good but does it really work as you claim ? I am a sceptic and I need proof.Send it to me free and prove to me that it’s not bogus. It would be a rare situation if the claims you make are true. My challenge to you is prove that your product really works. If it does as you say then I’ll be one of your best vocal saleman.Many of my YMCA friends who are overweight are eager to find something that actually works and is not a scam. Are you up to the challenge ?
I think both losing weight and gaining weight is all about priority. When we no longer make being healthy a priority and let something else take that over be it a job, school, family, even addictions, we become unhealthy. Doing this for a long term affects your metabolism in ways scientists do not understand yet. Using this system might be the answer to that problem. I have tried a lot of systems, some work, some don’t. We are all searching for the so called “silver bullet” for weight loss. I am excited to try the program and see what it has to offer. The great thing about weight loss is it can be viral and spread to your family and friends. First be true to yourself, lose the weight, then be a hero to your friends and family.
Hi, I’m not sure if this program is for me or not, but I am willing to try. I am 48 years old and weight about 155 pounds, stand 5’4″…I quit smoking about 2 years ago and started putting on pounds. I have tried other programs but for some reason have not been able to take off the pounds. I have started going through menapause and believe that my hormones are playing a big part in my taking off the pounds. I struggle with exercise on a daily basis for I have been moving around the last couple of months and May 1st I finally move into a place of my own and won’t be living with family (dtrs). My dtr struggles with overeating and living with here has not helped me, I try to help her. Maybe your program can help me, maybe not, but I will give it my all with or without your help. I starte CYWT last year around this time when I couldn’t break through a fatloss plateau and it worked great! I kept with if for several months and then for some reason I can’t even remember, I stopped. Well the weight came back, of course. So just recently, I started CYWT again and I’ve gone through Dr. K’s DEFL and had some good results but those last 10 nagging pounds around my lower back/waist area are hanging on for dear life. I’ve experiemented with alot of the methods you discuss, fasting after a cheat day, lactic acid training, etc. but never as part of a synergistic program. Your plan does just that from what I’ve seen so far and that is exactly what I need to get to my ultimate lean goal. One I’ve been struggling towards for 5 years now.
I am looking for a lifelong diet plan to help me eat and stay healthy. I am tired of going up and down with my weight. I either starve myself and am unhappy, but am an acceptable size to myself or I eat and gain weight and am unhappy with my clothes getting tighter and tighter. I want to learn what foods to prepare and eat so I can truly enjoy life and not worry whether I am going to gain weight if I EAT THIS. My first grandchild was just born and looking at him and holding him in my arms makes me want to live a long and healthy life. I truly want this for myself and know if I can learn this program it will not only help me, but my husband and children will benefit from it also. I could teach my family a healthy way of eating and preparing meals for themselves.
I’ll be 59 this year. Two years ago at 205 pounds, I decided it was way past time to do something. I gave myself two years to get to 150. I’m at 185 and despite my “best” efforts, cannot seem to get past that. Needless to say I’ve tried a lot of different plans with limited success. At this point, honestly, I’m doubtful that any plan will work. Much of what you have said makes a great deal of sense. So maybe there is a glimmer of hope.
