I have struggled with my weight since after the birth of my son, almost 13 years ago. I have had 3 more children since my son and I have also had my gallbladder removed. Anyway, I’m someone who is very overweight (5.5 tall and 234 lb). I have tried everything diets, pills, exercising with trainer but nothing worked. Some time ago i found Isabel De Los Rios’s program and started to eat more healthy. Just eating right I’ve lost 10 lb. Now I want to find an exercising program that will help me lose more weight. If your mission is what mine is(that is helping people) you would understand why I am so interested in your program…My adventure with sport,healthy eating started when I was 12 years old.I was always skinny kid,I was getting sick very often and I wanted to put on size,improve my health so I started reading about nutrition and exercise influence on human body,I found my answers and I changed my body,improved my health and I am happy with my body now but…everyday I see people who suffer either because of not knowing that what they are eating make them what they are or because of their informed choice…they getting fat or worse-ill…I’m working in hospital I see people die every day and I know that many of them don’t have to die so early if they change their eating habits,start some physical activity…With your program I believe that I can help a lot of people,starting from members of my family…easier said that done(people don’t want to change their habits-do they:) )

I realize the importance of MY losing weight. I’m 33 and my regular training and diet regimen is not as effective any more. I’ve felt my metabolism slow down in the past 2 years. I have sleep apnea and I really need to lose weight so that I get better sleep without the use of a CPAP machine. An improved quality of life for me that can result from access to your program will help me continue my teaching and medical career, as well as help me get into the next phase of my life (starting my own family) in better health and a more positive outcome.

The approach that you have used in developing this program makes sense to me. I am 60# overweight and have tried and tried to lose the extra weight. This effort resulted in a limited amount of progress and only then to lose the gains that had been made.
The thought that we can just reduce calorie intake with a modest exercise regiment and lose weight has been the prevailing thought for as long as I can remember. My personal experience tells me that we have been fed a lie.

This program I need because I am so far winning the battle with my thyroid and could use a diet to drop the pounds now that I have the thyroid under control. The sooner I drop the pounds I can get my sleep apnea under control. Then I can better recover from hernia surgery that I will need, but not life threatening at this time.

I was always looking for an step by step procedure to lose my fat and stay fit. Joel, I’m not going to try to B.S. you here, but I would love to use your program. I will be 40 years old this June and told myself I want to be in the best shape of my life at age 40. Right now I am failing. I am a Police Officer, Husband, and Father of 6 who isn’t setting a great example for myself or anyone else. I work in a College town and it is frustrating to see everyone walking around in great shape. I bust my butt in the gym, let all of my hard work go when I eat. I have 2 kids, one is 12 and one just turned 2. At 30 I bounced right back from my pregnancy but the 2nd one at 40 was a completely different story. I gained more weight with the pregnancy although I didn’t do anything substantially different and afterwards I have been unable to get anywhere losing the extra pounds. Every day I wake up, look in the mirror and hate what I see. I’ve herniated 2 discs in my back last year so every day is a struggle with pain and depression from my inability to conquer these two mountains. I walk, lift weights and eat healthy. I need something that will target metabolism issues and something that will be the most effective strategy with time as I’m a single mom as well. I want to see if this could be the answer for me. Please help give me a positive push in the right direction.
I’ve carried extra weight all my life. At times it was just 10-15 lbs and at other times it was more. Now it’s scary because I’m very concerned with heart disease, diabetes, and health in general. Especially since my boyfriend suffered a heart attack at 38. Thankfully he’s ok, but these kinds of things tend to wake you up.

I must say my favorite is the cheat day. I LOVE IT! I didn’t get these “soft” curves from eating broccoli, know what I mean? Twenty pounds in 25 days, and done in a HEALTHY way! My heart needs the drop in my waistline and HDL levels, and I could finally let go of the extra “luggage” and health risks I’ve been carrying. hi joel after training and training and then training a bit more i feel the six pack but i dont see the six pack .I eat little and often good healthy food , I run 3 to 6 miles every 2 to 3 days and weight train 4 nights a week and tryed every diet in the known universe. ive lost 3.5 stone to date. i think this program is the one please help.

I am 67 yrs. old and have tried every diet from Cambridge (back in the day), Nutri-System, Atkins and the HCG drops… plus most of the fad diets. I lose the weight but always gain it back immediately. With the Nutri-System the weight came back within 30 days… sometimes as much as five pounds overnight. I am active, no medications, about 40 lbs. overweight at present but that will fluctuate to up to 60 lbs. I live in Alaska and do not have access to a gym, etc. but do walk 3 miles/day when weather permits. Reading and listening to your updates, I realize there is something that I am doing wrong. I need to get this under control before I get any older and start having health problems.

Two years ago I was feeling very blah at 48. I had gradually been putting on the pounds and it got to the point that knew I had to do something. For the past two years I have religiously worked out and changed my eating habits for the better. Now at 50 I am feeling pretty damn good and have really shaped up to the point that my GRANDKIDS have noticed. I never seem to be able to lose more than 3 lbs with any eating and fitness plan that I try. I am a 57 1/2 year old female runner and sometimes triathlete who has about 10 lbs to lose. Problem is that I’ve had that 10 lbs for 10 or more years. At times the weight has been higher and I could balloon out of control so easily that it’s ridiculous. I refine and change my eating habits, mix up the types of workouts I do but never have much success.

I have been trying to lose weight for almost 2 years now and have hit a pleateau. I go to the gym 3 days a week and have just purchased a treadmill for the home. During my weight loss journey I have hit many obsticles surgery and fatigue being the biggest ones. I am currently at 37% body fat and 150lbs on a very small frame. It does not seem to want to go down no matter how hard i workout or eat right. summer is coming up and i want to feel like i can take my kids to the pool without being ashamed of my body.
