Hey Joel,
Im a 26 year old woman who has been active pretty much my entire life. Mostly, I’ve played soccer more than any other sport, and have 2 torn ACL ligaments to show for it (had surgery on one already). Im not a person who is obese, or extremely overweight. But I am someone who has packed on about 30 pounds in about 2 years. Having played competitive sports for as long as I can remember has instilled this drive in me to want to perform at my best at all times. Sadly, I’ve been slacking in the workout/nutrition department, and have a Michelin man tire around my waist to show for it. I was chuckling to myself when I heard the audio of you, John, and Vince, and when they were mentioning that people need to be “told what to do”. I think the word they were looking for is “structure”. Playing sports has most definitely developed a “tell me what I need to do, so I can be the best I can be” attitude in me. I have been closely following your tips, and have actually already made some amendments in my approach to fitness. I will purchase your program if I am not one of the few to get a free copy, as I am confident that the results I achieve will allow for me to get back into the same/similar shape I was once in, aide with recovery of my upcoming knee surgery in 6 months, and ultimately allow for me to be comfortable wearing clothes again from my “skinny” closet.
On a side note, I really appreciate your no-BS, straight up info, kind of approach.
Keep up the great work,
Marina

Hey, it’s Joel! So you want to know a little more about me, huh? Well, I’d be happy to oblige :-)
I guess it all started back in 2001 (my freshman year of college) when I was just a “skinny fat” 19-year old kid. At the time, I was spending close to 2 hours a day in the gym (now my workouts last about 30 minutes), and despite my efforts, you’d probably never guess I worked out a day in my life by looking at me...
