I have 100 pounds that I need to shed since I need to improve my health situation. You can assume all my health numbers are high and I do not want to take drugs to lower my weight. I am looking for a sensible plan that I really follow through with.

I have had health problems most of my life. My husband is diabetic and i need to be around to take care of him. I also take care of my elderly Mother, so i need all the energy to take care of day to day stuff. I’m excited to start a new life of healthy choices. I love all the information that i can get off the website. I try the recipes out on my family and they love them too.

You have a great sense of humor and I really enjoyed reading the updates from you.

My sister’s beach wedding is on June 4 and I have a time constraint to get in the best shape ever. I have been exercising to “Insanity” (Beachbody.com) DVD’s for the past month and got good results, but it’s not extreme. Even though I have a better definition I am not ripped enough and my scale is at the stand still. I would love to get a copy of your program to get the information needed for an extreme result in 25 days.

First the question isn’t why I need this info, it’s why YOU need me to have it!
I’m 47 years old, 5’8″, I started the FBF system from Rob Poulos (he referred me to you) in January at 195 lb. I’m now 172 lb. I’ve been using a cheat day a week before hearing about your program and losing weight on a steady rate. I believe that if I start using your plan will accelerate my weight loss and improve my overall health. As well as get me to my goal of having a healthy body fat %.

I talk a lot (back to why you need me to have this system). If you give me the program I will talk to every one I meet about getting healthy and reducing my body fat and how I did it with your program. I will even print up cards with your web site it and hand them out when I talk about how you helped me to reduce my body fat to healthy levels. Oh and how I did it eating Pizza and meatball subs!!

Hi Joel,
I had brain surgey in 1995, and the post surgery steroids made it very difficult for me to control my weight like I did before. Even though I work out avidly, I still struggle with weight loss. Back in 1999 I lost my weight on the Atkins Diet, but the weight has crept back on with several other surgeries. Even though I still work out regularly and I watch what I eat, I am still struggling with my weight. I tried the Atkins again very rigidly and lost very little weight. I need to control my weight because I also have a back problem and I need something long term. I think your plan will definitely do the trick for me, as it will trigger the weight loss to really motivate me and make me feel good about myself.

Hi Joel, I’m 46, 6 ft tall and weigh 225 lbs. I’m in pretty good shape with the exception of having very high blood pressure, and the pills aren’t bringing my numbers down. For the last three months I really stepped up my workouts. My cardio has really improved and I’ve increased my strength. My resting heart rate has dropped but my blood pressure remains high. The obvious next step is to drop my weight ( I carry almost all my body fat in my abdomen ). I’ve never dieted before. I do not want to lose weight on a program that just sets me up for weight gain afterwords. What you are teaching is based on science. That gives me the confidence that if I give your program an honest effort then I will lose body fat. But for me, the greatest reward should be to watch my blood pressure go down.

I need a detailed program all laid out for me to follow. I need cheat days to stay committed. The program needs to have been tested and proven to work as there are so many out there with empty promises. The nutrition must be sound and last but not least it must be a program that anybody can do no matter what their level of fitness. This XFLD fits the bill. It looks like a winner to me!

Congratulations on developing, what sounds like, the perfect fat loss solution. I have been struggling to get and keep off about 20 lbs since I quit smoking 18 years ago. Now at 53, my blood pressure is starting to act up and I don’t want to take meds for the rest of my life. Exercise, a good diet and the loss of that ugly belly fat will repair my body and your program is the only program that I have seen that provides all I need. With other programs they tell you what to eat but not when. Some tell you when to eat but are not very specific as to what. The same with exercise. Your program puts it all together. It gives me a eating plan with the foods to eat and when plus an exercise plan to strengthen the muscles. You take a person by the hand and lead her, which is EXACTLY what I have been looking for for sooo long. I would be very grateful and honored for the opportunity to use your program.

I’m done with diets! I am eager to make a life style change and from what I’ve read and heard so far, I truly believe this program is the best way to go. I would definitely like to get off the processed foods (it’s been a slow process AND sometimes the information hasn’t always been the right information). Hi Joel,
Well here goes, time to fess up that I cannot do this alone. I have tried over and over again and sure, I start out with a bang and get that initial 15 or so pounds off, but then I get stuck. I keep trying for a bit longer and when I get no results I slowly gain it all back plus. I am 55 yrs old 5’4″ and was hovering around 214 until I got serious and recently lost that 15 pounds. I am right now at the stuck point again and on the way up. HELP!!
My son just left for Army Basic Training on 4/21/10 and I will be going to his graduation on 7/2/10. I’ve been told he will be a new person when I see him again and I would love for him to see a new me. I am so proud of him and would love for him to also be proud of me. I know it would be one less worry for him, knowing mom is taking care of herself and that she is at a healhy weight. I have recently been put on a low grade cholestrol med. and would love to not have to take it. Doc said it could be looked at again when I take off some weight. I’ve suffered from Migraines most my life and know when I eat better and have my weight under control they are minimized. Mostly, Joel, I want to be a better me. I have been working on the spiritual part of me and pray for guidance about the physical, could it be you and your program? I know my self esteem is much lower due to being overweight. I could go on and on…. Oh – I also only have a computer at work, so DVD’s would resolve that also. Thank you for considering me. I would do my best to make you and my son proud. I am 58 years old and hypothyroid. Everything I have tried in the past few years has been unsuccessful. I have read about leptin in the past so the information you have sent me makes a lot of sense. This method truly promises to be the missing key. People come to me as a Reiki Master and a Natural Health Care Practitioner wanting to lose weight. I believe I would be of much better help to them if I can demonstrate what this program has done for me. If this can work for me at my age, it can work for anyone!

I just turned 40 last week and that little voice in my head just won’t be quiet and I need you to shut her up! What is she saying to me you ask….. I DON’T want to be 40 and FAT!!! Currently I am 220lbs and the doctor says I should be 150lbs. At this point that seem almost impossible considering how I’ve messed up my system with all the diet schemes, scams or crazy notions (meaning simply not eat for long extended periods of time) to no lasting avail, for my entire adult life. Down 30 Up 50 Down 60 Up 80 Down 120 Up 70 my body has turned it’s back on me now for all the abuse I’ve put it thru over the years and I really can’t blame it now can I? I have been reading your daily posts and it really does make PERFECT sense that eating more of the proper foods at the right times combined with specific exercises will do the trick. I need to overhaul the way I approach food so that I can make it a lifestyle instead of a diet with a specific time-frame. I whole heartedly believe RIGHT now is the time for me….a DO or DIE kind of moment you might say. With your tools and guidence it wouldn’t be such an insurmountable task as it is right now, but an achievable goal that would take me thru the rest of my life. So I will wait with fingers toes and eyes crossed (hope I don’t pull something in that pretzel form checking my email) that you choose me as one of your candidates. I am a 56-year-old male and in fairly good condition for my age. I have worked out 4 – 6 days a week, and eaten a healthy diet, for the past 20 years. I have increased my muscle mass, but still have 20% body fat. I want to lose at least 8-10% more body fat, and believe that this extreme fat loss program will be program that can make this happen. It is definitely harder to lose the stubborn abdominal fat when you are older, with the slower metabolism and hormonal changes to deal with. Hey Joel-Diane from Clearwater checking in for a chance at the freebie! I’ve been working HARD the last three months and have lost 13 pounds. I started monitoring BF% March 1-since then I’ve lost 6% BF and gained @5 pounds of muscle.(Yay!) I’m 50 years old, 5’8″ with 31.6% BF & 177 lbs. I build muscle easily. I’m SURE that planned diet manipulation will push me off my month long plateau. I watch my 2 year old grandson -days and I have a son in his 20s at home and my husband to feed. They’re not too fired up about my NOT cooking anything ‘good’ lately since I’m ‘dieting’-they’re both twigs. I’d love to once in a while prepare(and EAT) boliche, roast pork, yellow rice and chicken or enjoy a cuban sandwich at Hugo’s! (grew up in Tampa-can you tell)I’ve tried a ton of diet plans out there. When a month goes by with no change in BF or weight, I second guess my diet and get discouraged. I’ve been adding more workouts, but that is only causing back & knee stress. It’s gotta be the diet. The RIGHT diet. Pick me! Pick me!

ive been working out for about 3 years putting in the best of my effort every week, ive done weight training, calisthenics, cardio, and ive built up some muscle, but i started off skinny and actually have GAINED body fat instead of losing it, and its really frustrating because i seem to know a lot about working out but it doesnt help since most of the results come from nutrition and i dont know much about dieting except for your principles but I KNOW this program will be PERFECT for me to get exactly where i want to be!

I would like to try this system because nothing seams to work for me. I have tried everything with minimal success, but this program sounds different. It could be exactly what I need to get the jumpstart I can’t seam to get anywhere else.

Well, my questions is how to get my abs to be nicely shaped and fairly visible and get them onto a level, when I don’t work out for a couple of days, I won’t loose them! …so how to work them out and how to eat to have them/keep them PERMANENTLY (all year round) :D

hey Joel, I’m a chef by trade and i have been looking for a real down to earth way around the fact that I’ll always need a little help to keep the extra creeping pounds of the waist line. as i have been following your updates, any one can see you have found many solutions to a lot of little problems that are just basic common sense. and they seem so easy to follow. this is why i would love to receive your program

After years of yo-yo dieting I am finding it increasing difficult to lose the weight I have gained. My family and I will be going on vacation in 5 weeks and it would be great to fit into some skinny clothes and have some photos where I am looking slim. I really want to get back to a healthy weight and feel good about myself again. It would be wonderful to win your program.

The “whys” this is the perfect solution for me are many. First, my body is to be the temple of Jesus Christ. As such, I have failed to honor this by allowing myself to become so out of shape and overweight. It is time for transformation.
Equally as important are five very personal reasons – those being my lovely bride and our four wonderful kids. I’m getting ready to turn 40 in a few months. I’ve been active and healthy my whole life, but am having trouble getting my body fat % below 12%. I’m especially interested in the specific workouts that go with the different nutritional days. Your approach to leptin control with the fast days followed by the cheat days looks interesting as well.
