I am 50, diagnosed with depression, metabolic syndrome, Crohn’s and I need help. I am 4’11” , 200 pounds and have been working out and trying to eat right but I am so discouraged. Thru a string of “coincidences”, I’ve been lead from someone to someone to Dr. K. to Vincent DelMonte to you. Since November I made a (‘nother) dedication to lose this weight. I have been trying to lose my belly for 5 years. I had a c-sectioin delivery with my son and can’t seem to lose the bulge. I’m looking forward to transforming my body to a lean muscle look. I’m excited about the meal plan and the exercise plan. I want to know the best timing for food and exercise. I have been on different diets that have helped lose some weight, but I still have a loose flabby frame. Losing fat and building muscle is what I’m excited to learn about.
I am going to be turning 30 this next month and I am still trying to finally obtain my perfect body. I work my butt off exercising extreme programs, but still don’t lose the stubborn fat on my belly. I gain muscle but the fat sticks. It’s very discouraging. How I look has an extreme effect on how I feel. I have a 6, 2, and 1 year old at home, and I need something that works so I can focus my attention on my children instead. for the past year oa following your email, ect. I am living in South Africa and was very active. Playing fottball, karate, cycling. BUt unfortunatly as you get older the activity decline. Since my MOM died in September 2009, I became very worried about my healty and weight. She was a diabetic and suffera lot at the end. I do not want to go the same route as did. Hey Joel, I am 26 years old and I have battled body fat for about the past 10 years. Some of the programs and routines I have tried work at first, but I always end up plateauing and subsequently giving up on the program. I am sick of putting a ton of work into my workout routines and meal plans just to get results for only about two weeks. I love the strategic approach you have taken with the XFLD system. When you presented the idea of cheat days followed by fast days and how that affects leptin levels, it blew me away. Those ideas coupled strategically with a great exercise routine is exactly what I have been waiting for. Since Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans I have put on 45 pounds, that was almost 5 years ago. Right after Katrina it was work, stress, and eating; finding no time for the gym or to take care of myself…there was always something.
With the New Orleans Saints in the playoffs and ultimately winning the Superbowl and New Orleans electing a new mayor…it was the turn around for me! Over the past 6 months that I have lost 25 pounds and still have more to go.

You rock. I’ve been trying to lose weight since I had my 2nd child (5 years ago) and gained 100 lbs during a pregnancy where I developed diabetes and thyroid disease. I kept both “bonuses” after the delivery as well as all 100 lbs. I’ve lost as much as 40 lbs on other diets but my weight loss just stalls out after 3 or 4 weeks and eventually after 2 or 3 months of starving myself I can’t deal anymore – and I gain exactly what I lost back every time. I am going to be 65 in a few months, and having retired after 42 years of 12 hour days and 60-70 hour weeks, and after gaining about 100 extra pounds in the past 10 years, I am ready to try anything. I am 29 yr old mother of 3 small children. Right now, I can’t keep up. I am 5’2″ and a wopping 203 lbs. I am at my maximum weight for my body and it is breaking down. I’ve managed to have an acceptable or healthy percentage of fat but I want a program that takes me to the next level. I want to become ripped and have a healthy body, and I am sick and tired of the conflicting info in this industry. I don’t have time for all of their bullshit.

Wow, the day is finally here. I’m so excited about the XFLD program that I’m beside myself. I have 3 reasons why I need this product, now!!
1) My nephew is getting married in 23 days, i.e. I need to “get with it” to look smoking hot for the wedding. I have already bought my outfit but haven’t taken the tags off and I’d love to take it back and get a smaller size!!
2) I trained passionately for an event last summer . I was given a 4 month workout program that I followed to the tee, but not offered nutritional advise so guess what, after I completed the event I took some time off from training and gained about 25 lbs of fat. I enjoy physical training but I really need nutritional guidance so I can afford not to train sometimes without falling totally apart.
3) I’m a 50 yr old woman that refuses to look and act “Over the Hill”. I feel as though I have the attitude of a 25 yr old but I need my body back, it’s in hiding. I’m like most people and come from a family who has always battled weight and health issues. I work at an accounting firm in Arizona. I just finished busy season (January-April 15th). Needless to say busy season always ends up messing with my workouts. By March, I’m lucky if I’m hitting the gym 3 days a week (usually 5 days). This season seemed worse than usual. I think I averaged one day a week in March and none in April until this past week. Tax season also means temptations because everyone thinks sweets are the answer. I did pretty good avoiding some of those, but I’m only human.
This week I’ve been trying to catch up on some of my emails and the email I related to most was the call with you, Vince and Roman. I really liked the part when Roman said he liked your program because there was no guesswork. Do exactly this. That’s what I need. I’ve been going to gyms for years now. I was down to 17% body fat (wanted 15%) and looking really good about 4 years ago but then I let life get in the way. Now I’m around 25-26%. I want the sexy, fit, lean me back! The license plate on the front of my car says “Hottie”. I want to find her again! I believe your extreme program will help me get started on the right track and motivate me to stay there. Thank you.
I have been on every diet, taken every weight-loss supplement, done all the videos but have struggled with the weight “Yo-Yo” my entire life. Although, I do exercise three times a week and am a very active 39 yr old woman, I still cannot seem to manage my diet. I LOVE to eat good food. I think this program will work for me because there is the “light” at the end of the tunnel each week that will keep me motivated to continue working on building muscle and trimming fat without the despair of starving myself of the things I truly enjoy. I am always working out but never seeing results. Nothing overly profound. I’m just so weary of these last 10-15lbs that refuse to be gone. I had back surgery 3 yrs ago and gained some during recovery. Getting back in the gym has been great and I have lost 20lbs but losses have stopped not just slowed down. Winning could change my life.

I am 44 years old with three great kids that we were able to adopt as children. The past 2 years I have been battling cancer. With the treatments , and overall not feeling well, I have lost lots of energy and gained weight because of the steroids in the medication I take. I have won the cancer battle, but now need to get my body back in shape and regain energy so I can make up for the time I was too sick to do much with my children. I have had back problems for about 7 years now. I thought it originated from a car accident I was in around 1989 and was further pushed along by a fall down the stairs years later that I didn’t think at the time was that bad. That was back in 1994. Every year it just gets worse. I have had many appointments with doctors and specialists and was told at one point that I may have arthritis. During my last appointment just yesterday, I was told this is due to an abnormal curvature of my lower spine that with time (normal wear and tear) it will get worse unless I lose weight and strengthen my core and back muscles. It was to the point about 2 years ago where I almost gave up and was resigned to live with this pain forever. Last year a colleague went through a more severe back issue than mine (her doctors thought she would have to have surgery) and she was eventually told that if she had lost weight and kept active it may not have been as bad now. Her story made me have the problem more thoroughly looked into and I am now being told essentially the same thing. I am determined to do my all to make this go away. I think this program would be the perfect tool in helping me get to my ultimate goal of no pain. This is perfect for me right now.

Hey Joel, I just wanted to let you know that I’m really excited about this program. I’m 21 years old and I have a somewhat athletic body but I’ve been looking how to take it to the next level and I feel like this will be the perfect program to do that. Both my parents are overweight so I kind of have this fear that one day I’ll become overweight as well. I’m kind of scared that there might be a genetic factor, but I don’t let that bring me down.
