“I want to go through this journey (my life) with a healthy body and a healthy soul….”
This is an extract of my personal mission statement.
Over the years I have worked on both parts mentioned but the one related to a healthy body has been a really huge challenge.
I think that challenge will be finally over….so… thanks a lot…..

Having tried many different workout and nutritional regiments yours is especially intriguing to me due to the unique, but extreme approach you take to the diet aspect of things. I’m very anxious to learn and seem more about the food plans and workouts.

I’ve had moderate amounts of success with other programs such as Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle, and the Truth About Building Muscle. Both very good programs but having followed them almost to the ‘T’ I didn’t quite seem the extreme results that I thought I would. I would hit a plateau & be stuck as to how to work through it. I’ve been an avid lifter for many years now and am always wanting to learn more about nutrition, diet, and bodybuilding.

Anyway, from what I’ve read and learned through your earlier posts, your program seems logical and probably pretty easy to follow. I’m hopeful that I am one of the lucky winners and can use your program to re-energize my workouts. Thanks!

Actually, I want it for my sweetheart. She used to be 220+ pounds on on a combination of programs (most notably CYWT), she has lost about 80 pounds, which is just fantastic. However, she is a single mom, who had difficulty with her pregnancy so has had significant stretch marks around her mid-section, weaker abdominals and has retained almost all of her remaining weight around her waist area (she is about 140 right now). She has been working so hard (works out 6 days per week, continues to follow CYWT religiously and even ran her first triathlon this year), but just can’t seem to lose the last 15 or so pounds around her waist. Despite how far she has come, she has become very frustrated — so I really want to help her bust through to the next level of fat loss and surprise her with a bikini this summer. With all that she does for her daughter, work, friends, etc. I really want her to feel successful getting the body she wants and deserves. She works so hard, so having the abilty to bust through this plateau with your new system would mean the world to her.

Hello Joel I have been a smoker for 43 years I have tried everything to quit. I am up to 215 lbs and am 59 years old. I believe this program will help me with the self worth I need to loose the weight and give me the encouragment to stop the smoking. Many people beleive that I am to old to become healthy. I dont beleive them and I thank you for the chance to win one of your programs to prove them wrong.

As one of those “information overload” people, I read books, follow blogs, watch tv specials, read magazine articles, and listen to podcasts about what the “experts” think are the latest and greatest ways to lose weight and keep it off. While I believe that everyone has pieces of good information, Xtreme Fat Loss is the only program that I have seen/read about lately that has actually seemed well-researched to not only be effective, but also to be FUN, yet remaining both do-able and challenging beyond what most of us have done before. You said it yourself, extreme results call for extreme measures. And that’s what I’m ready for. Like most people, I want to lose weight. 20 pounds isn’t much in the grand scheme. Enter Xtreme weight loss vs. Xtreme fat loss: I have a lot of friends who have done the hCG diet, and have they lost weight? Yep. But I think it’s crazy. Injecting a hormone that only pregnant women produce, coupled with eating 500 calories a day? Of course they’re losing weight. But you can’t eat anything you want to, and by the end, you’ve actually lost muscle. Sure, they may be “skinny,” but I want to prove (to them & myself) that you can lose the same amount of weight, and actually gain muscle, and oh by the way, have built-in cheat days to eat all the foods that you love. Being a prior “fat” kid at 197lbs standing 5’8″ tall, life was not good. I finally decided to make a change. I dieted and did cardio, cardio, cardio, and by dieting I mean almost starving myself to a slim 127lbs. I just couldn’t see myself as being skinny like everyone else did. Even my Grandmother cried after not seeing me for a few months when she saw I was that skinny.

Presently, I stand at 150lbs. Its embarrassing to say that only some of that weight addition is muscle; alot is fat. And most importantly, after restricting so many calories for so long and restricting anything and everything “good” for so long, I crave any and all junk food.

I feel this program is for me and can help me gain my lost confidence. I feel this program will help me develop better eating habits, and with those habits I will have plenty of fuel for my workouts.

Hey Joel, I have been anticipating this program ever since I really started learning about it. I began to work out again about 5 months ago. The main reason was because my 13 year old brother and 51 year old dad both are in much better shape than me at 21 years old. I started using alot of methods that I learned from following Darin Steen to lose fat and gain muscle. After about 2 months in I realised I needed to incorporate more cardio in my program in order to acheive the great stomach that I wanted. I now have dropped from about 19% body fat to around 11% but it seems I have reached a plateau.
When I first starting reading about your program I just thought it was another program like all the others that would probably work as long as I tried my best at it. After really reasearching your methods and Ideas, some of which I was skeptical about, I am confident that this probably is the best fat loss program ever created. I might not have the saddest story, and if thats what it will take to win a free copy of this program than I understand that I will not win. I recently lost a lot of weight (and fat) using a less-than-healthy approach. Right afterwards I started working with a nutritionist–just to “detox” my body and get back into a healthy lifestyle. She has sorted out that I have issues with several hormones, including my adrenals and thyroid. As a result of those issues I’ve been gaining weight–and fat–at a disturbing and distressing rate. I’ve found that exercise and sensible eating can help slow the process, but with the hormonal deck stacked against me I need a strategy that will help me not just maintain an already-too-high weight, but also lose weight in order to relieve the accompanying mental stres to allow my body to continue to heal. (And to win the all-too-common battle against despair–again….)

After reading and hearing what you’ve written and said about your program I am confident that XFLD will help with both criteria. Two years ago I was fit enough to complete three Half Ironman Triathlons. I have never been a natural athlete, I fought long and hard to make this happen. I learned that preserverence pays. A serious bicycle crash then shattered my ankle. During my long but successful recovery, the pounds accumulated, my fitness took a dive, I turned into a slug. Two years later and several lame attempts to trim, I still have those pounds. 35 of ’em by now. I experienced each of my Triathlons as a pilgrimage towards extraordinary achievement. I would approach your program as a similar pilgrimage. My spiritual teacher told me long ago that intentions determine everything. XFLD, it occurs to me, is infused with powerful intent. I’m 24 years old, fat and fed up. I’ve got one percent of body fat for every year I’ve been alive. I’ve been dieting and training for roughly 2 years with mixed results. After having tried several different programmes, my reduction in body fat has always been minimal at best. My body is just so stubborn! If I’d be satisfied with reaching my body goals within the next 10 years, then carrying on as-is would be fine. But not only is my body stubborn, my mind is impatient! I’ve reached the point in my life where I’d like to be able to wake up and say “I’m now half the size, but twice the man!”, but no matter what I do, no matter how hard I’ve tried, no matter how consistent I’ve been, no matter how clean I’ve eaten or hard I’ve trained, nothing has seemed to get the results I want, as fast as I need. My goals aren’t unrealistic…I’d be delighted if I could get a guaranteed pound of fat loss each week, maybe even two! I consider myself fairly well-read in fitness and nutrition, and after having read your introductory updates, your new programme gets me pretty stoked! The principles are so simple, yet seem so obvious in hindsight! Although I’ve got a lot going on in my life right now, the biggest thing I’m looking forward to is this programme. Roll on May 4th!

For too many years I’ve struggled with finding a way to rid myself of the extra weight and fat accumulated from childbearing, unhealthy eating habits and not enough exercise. program because not only is my health is really at risk, but I really
need help to get my 245lb weight, 145 blood pressure, and 214
cholesterol down to where they should be and get my life back on
track. I have faithfully tried many fad diets and exercises and all
of them have failed me since they are missing many components that
your diet and program include. While I admit some of the diets have
helped me shed *some* weight and I have gained it back and more and

My name is Dana. I am 41 and have 2 children, aged 7 and 9. For the last 7 years, I have been attempting to lose the extra 15 pounds of fat that I gained during pregnancy. About 2 or 3 times each year, I will start an exercise and nutrition program and stick with it for about 2 or 3 months. After those 2 months, when I haven’t seen any results, I get depressed and I quit.

I have been on a program faithfully for the past 3 months, but am again started losing motivation, as my body has not changed in those 3 months. I think I am getting a little bit stronger, but am afraid that I’m also losing muscle due to the nutrition program I’m on. What’s the point in killing myself with these workouts if I’m not seeing any results? I’m about ready to quit again.

I feel like I have tried every diet under the sun – from fasting, to only eating green, to only eating fruit, to only eating one type of food all day. You name it, I’ve tried it. Joel, i am glad to come across your program through our current trainer Yuri E and we have had great success with his program. But since last year i am stuck in my weight loss and more specifically fat loss goals since my metabolism has come stuck. I am busting my butt with my workouts and my diet every single day and still have a belly that looks like a pregnant women. I am a big proponent of healthy living through exercise and diet and preach to all my friends and family but due to my struggle to lose fat i am a butt of jokes in within my friend and family where none of them even remotely exercise or eat healthy – i am infact avoiding meeting anyone now. I need something desperate to break my current plateau and your program comes as something very promising that can just be the thing to help me out and prove to everyone around me that my passion to stay healthy, keep my family healthy and to promote healthy living to all the people around me, has real benefits

At 51 years of age I’ve reached a point where I need to improve myself for my family. So I am around a long time for them. This looks like the right program to bring me to the next level. I’ve started to get in shape and lose weight. But I have reached a plateau and am not achieving or seeing the results. I never believed in diets, because I’ve seen people getting fatter with diets, so I instead put my beliefs in exercise, with very arguable results: Sure, I lost some fat, but gained as much weight in muscle, so to keep the fat off, I had to keep working out. Life being what it is, I can’t exercise 4 to 8 hours per day…. I’m lucky if I can fit half that in a week. So all the muscle tone has gone away, but the fat was right back on schedule. Now, I want to quit smoking and lose the extra weight before I turn 40 (only a few years left) and then have to fight my changing metabolism on top of it. I think you’ve got a great way of looking at things and what I’ve seen so far sounds a lot more on the money than what I’ve heard from anyone else, including doctors.

I have tried everything seriously and have been to doctor after doctor trying to figure out why clean eating and working hard just isn’t cutting it. I only get progress if I diet to the extreme and my extreme isn’t the same as yours your extreme is doable. I smell relief from years of freaking frustration argggh!!!! I want to know everything about your program and the sooner the better and I am banking on it to work. I am willing to fork out the work and will do whatever it says, I want results and the cheat day I must say sounds fabulous!

I reenlisted in the Army at 51 and was activated within 8 months for Iraq. By the time we completed 6 months of training, I was in great shape and ready to go. Then, my blood pressure spiked to 170/100 and I was left behind when my unit went to Iraq. I spent the next 14 months sitting in a 10×10 room unable to take the heat of a Georgia summer, unable to exercise due to elbow & knee issues that had resulted from putting on over my head and wearing 40-50 pounds of body armor every day for those 6 months. Within 3 months, I had packed on 30 pounds of fat, sigh, and, ultimately, was medically separated from the Army.

Intrigued by your program, I was attempting to explain it to a friend. Hi Joel! My name is Kim Warren. I am a 41 y/o mom of two girls that is tired of being fat.

Since my mom put me on my first diet in second grade (I wasn’t even fat then), I have been on just about every diet, including doctor prescribed weight loss drugs with an 800 calorie diet. I have done cardio and weights. I would lose the weight in the beginning then slam into a brick wall. I hate the wall.

As I got closer to 40, my goal was to be forty and fabulous. I wanted to look and feel healthy, not just loose weight. I started a daily cardio program and had small results, but not much. I started adding in weight training; better results. Then I started the dieting again…and BAM! There was that wall.

After I realized the less I ate, the less I lost, I started researching this subject. Evidence shows how smart the body is, how stress and dieting cause it to shut down and stop losing weight. After reading and listening to your information Joel, I truly think that your road is a logical way to weight loss. I am a 38 year old mother of 5 (ages 7 -17). A little over 8 months ago, I weighed 265 pounds. Needless to say, I was in terrible shape, and would get winded very easily. Since then, I have lost 73 pounds. In 2 weeks, I will be running in my 1st half marathon! I want to win this for my boyfriend. He would love it!

Because I am fat and unmotivated. Have not even read info I have received on line. Not sure if it is for me. An aging woman, not a body builder. But must do something.

I do everything right, but still seem to be losing the battle. Everyone says it is just age, but at 48 I am not yet ready to concede defeat! I eat very carefully, wholesome, organic foods, several small meals a day, use strength training and cardio 6+ days a week, and while my husband says I look terrific, I still see lumps and bulges that were not there a few years ago. I am eager to show myself, and my friends, that there is a solution, that we do not have to surrender our desire to look healthy and trim to the inevitable aging process. I know we are all going to get old, and I hope to do so gracefully. I also hope to do so as healthily as possible. Help me show them that anyone can look good, even as they grow older.
