After three kids, two divorces, many ups and downs, a health crisis with one of the kids, and various money woes, I have finally swum out of the mire and into a new life that I realize does not include this flabby, untoned body of mine. With the last one off to school this Fall, I am finally able to concentrate on my self and for the last month have been working diligently to get into a new lifestyle program that includes, proper eating, fat loss and exercise that will tone and sculpt me. While I am not seeing any actual results yet, I can physically and mentally feel them and it feels like success is so close! I’d love to add the XFLDS to my program and my lifestyle. I am in a state of real confusion as to what I should do about my body. I walk around self-conscious thinking everyone is looking at how big my thighs and hips are. I have been working out for about 2 years but the thunder thighs are still there. Three weeks ago I requested a quote for a tummy tuck and liposuction on my but and thighs . To be honest, I’m somewhat of a skeptic and I want you to prove me wrong. I need this program because I am a yo-yo dieter. I will do amazing for a week or two losing 5-8 lbs and then I splurge on all my cravings, feel guilty, then say hell with it and gain all the weight back. Then of course I come back around and realize this isn’t what I want. I become motivated to lose weight again, but I have to start at ground zero again. This cycle has been going on for years now and it’s driving me crazy!! I feel like this could be the missing piece to the puzzle. If I could splurge without the feelings of guilt I could enjoy the treats and know it’s actually good for my weight loss. From a female perspective emotions & hormones have a huge impact on my eating habits, cravings and weight. I can’t eat clean 100% of the time, but I need a structured plan to tell me how I can cheat so I don’t have the feeling of shame that causes me to completely give up. Please help me break through this wall I keep hitting!

I am 64 and have been, thank God, healthy all my life. With each baby I gained weight-not excessive-that I have been, over these many years, been unable to shed. I now go to a gym 3-4 times a week and walk several miles on the other days. Nothing seems to be working. My diet is well rounded and not over maybe 2500-3000 calories a day. Diets have been the hardest part to get my body to respond to, however I believe that your system will actually work. Best of luck for your hard work.

The whole fat loss idea is new to me, so I figured half hour of good cardio 3x/week should be enough. Definitely never realized having more muscle would help with fat loss. I’ve shied away from muscle building workouts, because thought it would interfere with keeping the muscles relaxed (I practice Tai Chi). I was like, ” Can’t wait to get this program!” Your report made me so excited (with the sneaky tricks. Those are some Awesome tricks!!) because and I want to lose fat (belly fat to be exact) very fast and very effectively. I was searching for other programs out there to make sure wich one would work best for me, but when I read your “5 sneaky tricks to fat loss” report, I said to myself, “I found the ONE!” I don’t want gain a fat belly at all, for as long as I can. I’ve been telling my friends and family about the six updates, giving them only bits here and there (like little Joel appetizers) and now they are ready for the main course! They keep asking me who this Joel Marion is?? My wife and I are currently doing the P90X workout with OK results. Our biggest problem is following the diet! It’s very difficutl for anyone to eat like that! It’s too much sacrifice. I have a large group of men and women at work who are currently doing P90X but are looking forward to this new XTREME program. Most of my life I have been in pretty good shape. I’ve had my weight ups and downs but mostly managable when I set my mind to it. Around the age of 40, I hit a place with my metabolism that didn’t allow me the same luxury of weight loss I had previously. I have made some breakthroughs, having worked very hard to understand my own body and how nutrition in combination with different training styles can be paired with great effectiveness. I have gone from 26% body fat down to 23% in about 6 weeks and haven’t been able to get any farther. I really want to get under 20% again (it’s been 6 years). I don’t believe that someone telling me what to do would be as effective as teaching me how to do it for myself. That is one of the things I love about your work. Teaching rather than a specified detailed plan. Give a man a “fish” and he’ll lose some weight this week. Teach a man “to fish” and he can stay slim for a lifetime.

I am at my wit’s end…I am a 54 young female who had a hysterectomy 15+yrs ago and has gained (fat) weight since. Absolutely nobody addresses this issue. I started out being slender and have always been considered a skinny fat person or a fat skinny person depending on the way you want to call it. I have always worked out up to 6 days a week at the gym. I used to power-walk up to 20 miles a week and have had to cut that out of my routine due to Osteoarthritis in the hips. I do NOT want hip replacement and I know I have to shed this extra 25-30lbs off of my small bone frame to postpone this procedure. I have improved my eating greatly and yet cannot budge the scale. I used to be a vegan and, although I had great skin, health and energy I was way too thin and I didn’t have the muscle tone and the body I wanted and felt I could have. And I didn’t really know how to go about getting it; I didn’t have confidence in any of the people who tried to guide me. So I stopped trying. I got depressed and started eating badly and before I knew it I was 83 kilos! That’s 182 lbs. I looked at myself in the mirror one morning (something I’d been avoiding) and I wept. Not just at what my once slender body had become, but about my lack of energy and joie de vivre. My ‘grey’ skin. It was time to do something about it. I’ve lost 10 kilos (22 lb) in less than 6 months. But getting the rest of the weight off is hard and I’m stuck again. I couldn’t find a regime I felt would work for me. One that I believed in. This program is what I have been waiting for my whole life! Ever since I had my kids, I have been struggling with weight lose. My health and self-esteem have taken a big hit. I recently entered a ‘body transformation’ contest based on body building nutrion and exercise programs. While sound concepts in theory, my results were soooooo slow, compared to the effort I was putting in, that is was hard to stay motivated. I need this system so that I can see results quickly. Without that positive feedback early on, I don’t think I will be able to stay motivated and finally lose the weight I really need to lose.
