I would be very fortunate and grateful to have this program. I have recently found out that I have high cholesterol and diabetes. My doctor is very concerned and asked if I would consider doing the gastric bypass surgery. I feel that is a cop out because I never really tried to lose weight and was serious about it. I have tried a few diet fads here and there but once I would lose the weight and I stop the diet I would gain the weight back and more. Since I found out that I had diabetes I see a nutrient and was told my changes would have to be a life style change, so I started researching and came across you. It’s time to make a change! Though I am very well informed regarding health and fitness, I have been unable to implement a program consistently that works for me. I am a mother of six children, a former show-biz person in another life and have struggled with thirty extra pounds for about twenty years now. Nothing ever seems to work for long and I think my metabolism is just broken. Joel — I am 61 years old and have been fat — and more! — all my life. My health is bad and I do not want to stay this way. I have been up and down with diets for years, but I believe that I could “do” your program and need the structure. I do not want to continue to be fat and shorten my senior years even more. I have been on thyroid medication for 30 years, and my thyroid is non-existant — cannot even be seen via ultrasound. I am a 56 year old overweight woman. I have tried to eat healthy most of my life since I had a kidney removed at age 11. I mainly drink water, very little other drinks. I had a thyroid tumor in about 1986 and have not been able to do much but gain weight since having 1/2 of my thyroid removed. I’m on synthroid which is causing me to develop osteoporosis. I have whiplash from being rearended June 20, 2009 where my car was totalled. So I have frequent headaches. I am trying to lift weights 3 times a week. I am now back to walking. I would like to loose 20 lbs and lower my cholestrol. I work full time as an elementary school counselor. I have a lot of stress. But I have a great life and three beautiful granddaughters. Firstly thanks for all the great tips during the week, it’s scary just how much sense they all make. My reason for wanting to get into shape now more than any other time is that my wife is expecting our second daughter in three weeks and boy does that focus the mind and get priorities straight. I realise that by allowing myself to stay overweight I’m not just affecting my health but I’m affecting my family too and giving setting the wrong example to my children. I want to be the fit, young looking dad on the playground, the one who joins in on the sports days and someone my girls will be able to look up to and respect. I’m 33 in a few weeks (oddly enough the same day my daughter is due) and figure I’ve left it long enough to take charge – your approach makes sense, looks fun and I can see results will come if I put in the work. Ok so I’ve been reading all the info leading up to the release of your fat loss program and you have me hooked. I am a 38 year old mother of 2 young boys and I have come to the place psychologically and emotionally to truly invest in myself and my children. I have struggled over the past few years losing the extra weight I gained during my pregnancies. Sadly enough, as hard as I try only a few are disciplined enough to make the change, and by that I mean lifestyle change.

I am at that stage of my life 40″s that it is just so hard to loose that weight round the middle and the dreaded moobs, i have tried but if i dont see any difference in a few wks i just sort of give up so your xtreme fat loss program would be great for me. I was asked to take my top off at work this wk to help with teaching other staff but i just couldn”t, help me so the next time i will be happy & proud to help & can tell everyone its because of your help i can do this now. I recently received some frightening news from my doctor about how my family history of high blood pressure and diabetes made me a great candidate of both those problems. I decided that I wasn’t going there! So, I have been dieting and exercising like a mad man and although I have reached some good results, I feel like I am at a plateau. I have done a lot of research on how to get better results and I have never been more interested (excited) about a program after reading all the updates that were given by Joel and John. I not only want to be healthy, I want to look better and I am tired of being way overweight. Reaching the results that XFLD can offer in the short period of time will make it easier for me to continue with good eating habits and exercising. I must say I’m really looking forward to you releasing XFLD and I would LOVE to win a copy. I’ve struggled with my weight for the last few years, mostly due to ill health. I finally decided enough was enough, no more excuses, and I’ve managed to lose around 14lbs this year through careful calorie control and mostly low-impact cardio exercise. I have the willpower but I’m definately missing something – that something is XFLD! I’ve read countless blogs etc but yours is the first to make complete sense. No patches or pills or potions (and believe me, I’ve tried a few!) but common sense nutritional advice and an exercise plan which works with it, not against it.
My weight loss seems to have stalled despite my best efforts and I still have another 20 or so pounds to lose! Not for my boyfriend, not for my friends or work-mates but for ME. Just me. A slimmer, leaner me would give me the confidence I have sadly been lacking for a long time and I’d love the opportunity to combine diet and exercise in the optimal way to produces the fantastic results your plan suggests. I’ll never know how you all can decide from such heartfelt responses. I am looking for a program that will quite simply, just work. I have tried for the last 15 years to eat right, and exercise and try and drop the excess body fat. To date, I have yet to find that program. I am now border line hypertensive and the doc says I must lose weight to help bring my blood pressure down. I am sure that your program will help me achieve the results that have been so elusive. I am tired of being skinny fat and having no energy. I need a systmatic plan that will show me what to eat and when. Also a plan that will show the proper exercises to perform with diet for extreme fat loss. In the past, I have excercised and tried to clean up my diet. I have not been able to do both in a synergistic way. I have only been able to stop from getting fatter. I have not been able to reduce my existing fat.
Every summer I take a trip to the beach. This year I would like to look great and feel healthy. I want to be able to walk the beach confidently and not hide under the beach umbrella. As an aside, do you also have a plan for pasty white skin;)
Joel I am a Physical Therapist and I struggle with my weight. I feel as though I am a hypocrite teaching my patients to exercise and live a healthier lifestyle when I don’t look like I do. I am 6ft tall and bigger boned but have never been able to get below 250lbs. I have tried every fad diet there is and I cant find anything that works for me. I am a mom of 5 young children and I have been progressively gaining weight over the last 11 years. It has come to the point that I have become disgusted with myself — not only what I see in the mirror — but also my ability to care for my family. I am always winded and exhausted and in many ways can’t keep up and do activities with my own children. This past September, I finally started an excercise program and actually stuck with it. I am seeing some results, but NOTHING like you’re talking about. I homeschool and am so busy. The reason I want to do the Xtreme Fat Loss Program has basically three components. The first being that I was a fat kid up until High School, at 5’5″ being fat is easy to do. Then I slimmed down a bit for powerlifting and football and the general high school sports. But my family on the other hand, they are not as much on changing as I was. So being cursed with short chunky genes. That is my first major reason, self image and self esteem.
Second, I did Roman’s FPFL program throughout the month of Mar/Apr. Yes is helped put on weight as in lean muscle, but the diet portion was not really comprehensive enough to get me where I want to be. Much like Roman, I have a 10 yr high school renunion comming that I figured 2 months would be enough to prepare for. Obviously, I need more diet coaching. I love eating!
Third, I have done P90x and Insanity twice. And with a fair to moderate diet, I am still carrying fat. I am down to where I am fighting my own body to get lean. At 27 and 5’5″ and 147 and down to the last little bit, this program is screaming my name.

I’m 45 and have a 11 year old son, which keeps me busy with his sports activities. I’m not making excuses, I KNOW that it takes action to get results and I try to workout as much as possible. However with a wife that travels with her work and time constraints I often miss planned workouts. Now as far as eating, we are on the go family and eating at home is last on the list, thus lies the majority of my problems. I first came across your information via Craig Ballantyne. I always check out new things he suggests. I listened to his interview with you. I have found that a cheat day does wonders for me, both psychologically and physically. But still something is missing. I’m sure that it’s the deplete days before and after that you talked about as well as the specially designed workouts on those days. It sounds to me like you have put it all together and will make it super easy to implement. I’m am very eager to see the program you have laid out and get busy following it. I NEED this program! My fat loss journey began about a year ago. I played football in college, but tore the labrum in my hip and had to sit out my senior season. My depression that resulted from an inability to compete or train (and the subsequent weight gain) set me off on a bad path; I packed on about 50 lbs of bad weight to my formerly lean 175 lb frame. Needless to say, staring at my fat self in the mirror only sent me further into a state of depression. Fast forward to today: I’ve been “born-again” in terms of nutrition and exercise and your Cheat Your Way Thin (holiday edition!) system was a huge part of my success. However, I’m finding myself at a crossroads of sorts again. My progress has stalled out at around 12% bodyfat over the last month or so, and I was beginning to feel discouraged that the “fitness model” physique was forever beyond my grasp. 5 years ago after having a baby I fell bad took a year to
over come. Then got bit by a snake another year goes by.
Gained 60 pounds. So dr says I need diet pill so spend
the next year losing 30 lbs. Dr said eat anything you want but
stay under 1200 calories. Amazion I lost any. Last summer joined
the gym after 4 trainers I either didn’t fit in there schedule one
quit to take care of dad. I gained 10 pounds trainer says it was
musle and we deal with the fat later. I am lost I want to be thin
but don’t know how.

I guess it all started back in 2001 (my freshman year of college) when I was just a “skinny fat” 19-year old kid. At the time, I was spending close to 2 hours a day in the gym (now my workouts last about 30 minutes), and despite my efforts, you’d probably never guess I worked out a day in my life by looking at me...
