I have been an athlete and fitness junkie my whole life, and even with the longer workouts, more strict eating regimen, I have still put on weight each year… at 51, that must stop. Although I am stronger than I have ever been, that stubborn layer of fat just won’t go away! GRRRRRR!!!!!!! Help PLEASE!

I have simply never eaten foods correctly since I was a teenager. The way to stay skinny was to not eat. Now that I’m approaching 50 my body just doesn’t respond to my eating habits of the past. I noticed starting at 40 that my dieting just wasn’t working. Each 5 year interval created new obstacles to loose weight. My goal is to learn to eat correctly and loose weight when I need. I know there is a lifestyle change involved and I’m ready for it. I look forward to the day that I can eat and still enjoy a fit and fabulous shape!

Well, I’ve got a ton a weight to lose. As of this morning, I weigh 337 lbs. My goal is to get down to 220 lbs. This would be the perfect program to give me a jump start to reach that goal.

This programme looks great an I hope that I am one of the lucky 5! I have been carring around an extra 25-30 KGs for some time and struggle to find something that is logical and is easy to maintain. Even after having 2 heart operations before I was 25 it has not been enough to make me change my Bad habits.

I have tried a number of different diets but find that they all end up the same way, just being impossible to maintain and end up failing after a few weeks. After reading your report “5 Sneaky Tricks to TRIPLE Fat Loss Results” last week I could see this would be great programme for me.

I have been using Cheat Your Way Thin for a little while now and when John’s Final Phase Fat Loss came out, I started incorporating the two programs together and I have been getting some results. I can’t wait to see how you and John have put the two programs together to get the maximum benefits. Just seeing the results I have accomplished in the last 4 weeks (w/o really knowing the correct way to incorporate them), I can totally believe the results of your new program will be Awesome!!! I started doing a fast day after my cheat day and was suprised by the results, I can see why doing the low-carb day before your cheat day would be very beneficial. I still have approx. 30 lbs. to lose, so I am XTREMELY hopeful that your new program will take me to my goal!

Well i don’t really know if it would be good for me until i try it, but it sounds great, and I’m willing to give it everything i have, the time, the effort, the hard work.
Why? Because I deserve it.
I deserve to be happy with who i am and what I look like.

Honestly, I don’t know if your program is right for me. I am a rationalist who believes in making decisions on solid information and reason. But I don’t have all the information. You have given us hints and teasers, but the proof is in the pudding and we haven’t tasted it yet. I’ve been trying for over a year to lose the last 13.5 pounds to get to my ideal weight and have tried many different programs but seem to have hit some wall. I know it is not just a matter of exercise (I’ve been running and working out 5-6 days a week) and I am eating a reasonable diet. I really don’t know if yours will work for me until I actually see and try it.

I’ve just been reading through all the posts and now I’ve decided not to apply for one of the free copies. I’ll admit it, I’ve been a slacker, I’ve let my weight creep up on me…and creep…and creep. So, I decided to do something about it. I know what to do – I’ve been strength training, running, and biking for over a decade – no problem!

My story is a little complicated. I was really sick 2 years ago with Crohn’s disease. I was down to 97 pounds! Yikes! Anyway, since my surgery, I have gained my weight back plus some unwanted pounds. I eat really well, I am a vegetarian, I do not eat white flour, sugar or processed foods. This choice is for many reasons, the first being that I will NEVER be that sick person again! I work out 5-6 days a week and since reading, “the Truth About Flat Abs”, I’ve changed my workout. I have this “middle” area that I’ve inherited from my mother and I want it gone! I’m sooooo close! At 50 years old, I have been fighting the “battle of the bulge” since age 18. I am doing fairly well, but need something to give my slow progress a boost. This sounds like just the thing.

Simply put, nothing else has worked… All these plans claim to be the answer, but NONE are.. I am up at 5:30 every morning to get to my full time job. Then I work another 4-5 hours at night trying to get my biz off the ground. I have a wife, 4 kids and almost zero time.. i need someone to show me EXACTLY how to get this weight off. I am a few days short of age 85 (male and vet of WWII) and probably in better shape than most – but that is not saying much (:-)) My diet has always been good but I find the “roll” in the middle just won’t go away. Exercise has consisted of gardening and walking for the last 3 years. Prior to that I played tennis vigorously but had to stop due to a hernia. That seems to be OK now and I need to get into a program that puts it all together. Seems like your is perfect.

The reason that fat loss is important to me is easy. Family, past, present and future.
The past generation has passed on to me a predisposition for both type 1 and type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease. Keeping my weight under control is a must, to avoid these life shortening problems.
Presently I am a mom to two wonderful boys, who expect me to keep up with them. The extra fat I carry makes that difficult, and any extra time they leave me needs to go into my job as a prosecutor, so I can offer my children, and all children, the safe future we all deserve.
The ability to decrease my body fat, and increase my energy in such an efficient way will literally be a life saving move. The time I save at the gym can be spent with the boys teaching them the life and fitness skills they will need be healthy and successful men. I will have more time and energy to dedicate to my calling. And finally, I hope I can use this success to provide myself as a role model for other women young and old. To inspire them to continue the important task of improving themselves on the inside and out.

I work out hard, but I understand that nutrition is a huge part of this, so am ready to try something new. I am a 45 year old mother of 4, grandmother of 5. I have been struggling with my weight all my life. One year I’m up in weight, one year I am down, but never down to where I would like to be. Always looking for the right knowledge to get me to where I would like to be. I am getting older, my body is not as young as it use to be. Carrying the extra weight doesn’t help either. All my kids are older now and they don’t take as much of me. So I would like to find me again and work on my goal of loosing the weight once and for all.

Hi, I am 58 and I weigh over 300 lbs. In the last year, I was a care taker for my dear mom, who passed away, and having seen the suffering brought on by obesity I decided to do something. So I started exercising, have been consistent for over a year and lost 35 lbs, then have hit a plateau. After having implemented strategies in The Diet Solution I am having more success, but I need to get the right kind of exercise. The treadmill just isn’t cutting it.

I need this program so I’ll have a set of instructions to follow that I know will work.

I’m finding that all the diet and exercise strategies I try don’t match. When I cut calories I have low energy and sure, I lose weight, but it’s muscle mass. When I try a more robust resistance training, I can’t seem to match it with the right diet and I just bulk up without losing any fat. I recently stopped going to the gym and all my friends complimented me on being able to lose weight. Yikes!

I’m especially excited about the “Cheat Days” concept as I think these will help me from feeling deprived (which invariably leads to binges of ice cream or tiramisu).

Hi Joel,i have been on the YoYo diet for 19yrs now,i have found NOTHING that works long term!I have got to the point where i feel EXHAUSTED,my brain is full of this diet and that diet ,i dont know which way to turn?Your site caught my eye,not only to lose weight once and for all but to look good too!Ive never give much thought to muscle tone,i always thought you lose weight and your cellulite disappears NOT TRUE! Joel!!! This is *exactly* what I need to get the results no other program has provided. I am a mom of 7 and have always kept in shape between pregnancies. But now that my youngest is almost 6 and I am approaching my 40th birthday, something switched off and I am now heavier than I ever was – even at 9 months pregnant! (I am 5’6″ and 171#)

I’ve been following you for a while but haven’t had the “guts” to order before. I just don’t have time to spend hours in a gym working out like a body builder. I am a mom with two little boys, working 70 hours a week so I don’t have a lot of time. I try to eat health but need to lose some weight and firm up and the faster that happens the more motivated I become. I’ve lost 20 lbs since last year but I look more like your before pics than the after. There are two reasons, why i want this thing.
1. My personal pleasure. I was always strong and lean and i can’t imagine myself like something else, but it’s not enough. I always daydream being ripped like all those actors in super duper fighting ninja kung-fu movies, so everyone will be envious of me and i can be proud of myself.

2. My family. In my family everyone is fat. My mother, my father, my sister, my uncle and aunt and so on…..besides me and my retarded yet funny dog.
They are telling me, that I will eventually get fat too and that I’m already not as lean as i was. I want to show them, that age might have slowed down their metabolism but that is just not the reason why not fight it harder and get back in good shapes and after I’ll prove them this, I will make them do the diet and exercises so I won’t be ashamed about their asses…aaaand summer is coming, you know.
