I was told by a doctor that my cholesterol was too high and that I needed 20mg of some statin drug, that changing my nutrition and lifestyle overall wouldn’t do any good. It had to be meds. I was obese at the time, 205 lbs and 46% fat for 5’5″ and aged 45.
I proved him wrong by dropping 65 lbs of fat in 6 months (and keeping them off for the past 6 years I might add) and he took me off the drugs! Victory :)
However, I’m “stuck” around 20-22% fat and really want to get to the upper- to mid- teens (shooting for 15%) and this program I know will get me there! For myself, but also to inspire others in my family, circle of friends, and my training clients (I since became a certified personal trainer).
