I am extremely excited about this program! It was such an eye-opener for me to know that it is POSSIBLE to lose weight fast while still being able to eat foods that you’re not allowed to eat when you’re trying to lose weight – as long as you do it STRATEGICALLY. I have always made fitness/nutrition a priority not matter how hectic things got with work/kids etc. However, this past year my aging parents required most of my time and unfortunately I had to put them first as I love them dearly. They are now in a “better place” if you know what I mean and so I have returned to looking after myself.
I have always maintained a healthy weight however, circumstances being as they were saw me edge up about 15lbs. Doesn’t sound like much but on a small frame it’s huge. I have been following the Cheat Your Way Thin Program through all the insanity with my parents and I feel that saved me from coming out of this worse than I did. I did have an eye opening experience while in for my routine physical. Seems my cholestrol level was on the high side. My doctor is aware what I was just through and that I prefer to tackle health issues rather than rely on meds if at all possible.
So she made a deal with me. She is giving me three months to get my weight in check which will have a significant impact on my cholestrol levels. She will retest after the three month period and if all is good then no meds will be required – if not, then I’ll be forced to go on meds.

I’m 43 year old male. I weigh about 245lb. I have a 4 year old daugher and she was talking about death and she said daddy when are you going to die? I said I don’t know. She said cause I will miss you if you die and who will be my daddy and live with me if you die? So I need to lose weight to be healthy for her and so I’m here for her. I’m tired of being fat. I have been trying to lose weight for a about ten years. Instead, I have been going in the opposite direction. It’s so much easier to put on than to take off. Since my 110 lb weight gain I have noticed a huge difference in even just the smallest things in life like walking up the stairs in my office, shopping, etc. I have lost 40 lbs so far but have a long way to go and I seem to have stalled. I need a new way to start losing more fat. I am starting to see the weight come back. And that I will not let happen. I am a young woman and recently divorced but is now in a new relationship. I need to feel better about myself and keep our relationship going strong. Hi I have been down to my last 10lbs for the last 18 months and cannot shift my body fat below 33%. So although my BMI and the scales have me in the healthy category, my body fat % still makes me obese!. I am at a loss to what else I can do to start losing body fat to make myself healthy!!

For me, after years of training, attempting to cut from 10/12% bodyfat to that 7% has been a complete nightmare!
I’ve tried every stupid diet program you can think of and do you know what – NONE OF THEM WORK. They do more harm than good – impinging your metabolism and hormone production … But FINALLY I seem to have stumbled across one which actually makes sense!

I’m interested in this diet for many reasons: the science (leptin levels, etc.), the length (only 25!! days!!), the strategy
(diet/exercise pairing) but mainly because of the ability to keep and even gain muscle while losing fat.
I am a rock climber and have always struggled with my weight. Strength to weight ratio is very important in climbing and
I feel that losing 15-20 lbs would greatly increase my abilities. As well, it would lessen the strain on my shoulders and fingers, leading to less injuries.
However, I don’t want to lose muscle to achieve this. With most diets I’ve tried, I’ve always gotten weaker, which isn’t very motivating.
I have recently started to train (pull ups, push ups, etc.) to increase
my fitness level, which has helped but have been unable to shed the excess weight. That’s why this program is exciting to me,
it sounds like I could continue to train and gain strength while losing fat. Exactly what I’m looking for!
I’m also super psyched that the type of training needed for each day is explained (density, lactic acid, etc.) and feel like it can be adapted to focus on my needs.
I’ve usually shied away from exercise programs as many only give exercises but don’t explain why, so i can’t figure out how to incorporate it into my climbing schedule.

I’m 40, based in the UK and have lost just over 4 stones (56 pounds) in the last 9 months with vigourour aerobic and resistance exercise and Atkins dieting. I’m now within a stone of my ripped weight goal of about 11 stone. Currently I stand at 12.7% body fat and I’m looking to get down to 5%. BUT I have been on a plateau for 16 weeks now. My weight has been steady at 11 st 11 lbs and I’ve tried upping calories on certain days, dropping down, upping carbs, dropping down, more and more cardio, more and more weights and still I’m stuck. Gradually I am putting on more LBM as my body fat drops but its frustrating – maybe your plan is what I need to get there!

Throughout my life i have been “skinny fat”, after 2 years of marriage its closer to just “fat fat” and i would love to change it to “lean and shredded”:) I have been trying to lose the weight every which way (with some results)but would love to see my abs the for the first time in my life!!I know they must be under there somewhere! I think the reason I have not been able to lose the weight successfully is that most diets require total abstinence for the rest of your life:) But to me life without chocolate is not worth living! I’m 57 years old and have been fighting the fat for 40 years! First as a professional dancer (I starved myself – well, they didn’t know in those days, did they?) then after a knee injury I turned to acting and all sorts of other jobs which I still pursue. I have been writing my programs A-Z for the past 10 years. I know they work because I give them to my clients and see them have success. I have gained a lot of muscle but because their mine I don’t seem to see them through till the ultimate goal of the never achieved 6-Pack. This program would be perfect for me at this point in my life for many reasons. Mainly, I was laid off from my job last week and have a lot of free time coming up which would be best spent getting healthier.
Also, I have been up and down with my weight my whole life, tending toward being fat. I even had stomach surgery in 1996 and lost a LOT of weight (probably mostly muscle) but almost immediately put it back on PLUS more.
Since then I’ve been on a DIET every day of my life and have managed to lose quite a few more pounds, but all of it was through starving and other awful things.
Recently I married the Love of my Life, who is a fitness instructor. I would LOVE to get lean and HEALTHY, but I obviously have no idea how to make that happen. The fact that I’ve probably killed my metabolism, I’m perimenopausal, and am 48 years old, do not help.

I’ve been reading your posts and your blog and diet is important to me. As I have gotten older it’s been tougher to keep off the pounds for various reasons- most importantly injuries. 20 years of playing rugby has taken it’s toll and throw in 10 surgeries with 7 of them knee; it’s made it difficult to exercise the way I would like and need to. Some heart issues and the birth of my son jump started me to get something done so that I’ll be around a little while for my family. I’m sure there are a lot of people like me out there who deserve this program just as much; I would just liked to be considered as one of them. Either way the program looks great and i’ll get on board.
