Hey Joel,

I need this program because I think I have committed the cardinal sin of fitness fanatics. OVER TRAINING!! Your wisdom will show me how to do less and be more. I do not ever want to be a skinny girl, I want to be a strong fit athlete and achieve all my fitness and life goals, which start with the body. I would buy this program, but at current I am studying for my degree and having to be frugal. I don’t want to have to wait till after uni to reach my potential. Please Joel make me fit and strong!

Synergy between diet & exercise program- what a great solution!

Need the muscle to keep burning! I ‘know’ this but have not found a good program to work w/my diet. Honestly, I have been on an exercise program, and I have been on a fat loss diet – but never at the same time. And they just don’t seem to be put together by anyone out there! Surely not like you describe.

The idea of a cheat day makes SOOOO much sense! Honestly, I’ve been reading a LOT of diet, nutrition, weight loss stuff in the last 2 weeks, and I couldn’t remember which site had mentioned the cheat day – but I had been talking about that idea with everyone for a few days, because I know from my experience I need it AND I know that it so often takes an influx of calories to get your metabolism going. My problem is so often that cheat day has become a free for all, and I have a tough time going back. Being supported by a program that encourages the cheat day AND leads you through coming back from it is definitely for me! The idea of no gain from that? Unbelievable!

Losing a pound a DAY is just the speed I need! I get discouraged –more like disinterested – when I am following a plan that works great in the beginning then I plateau. If I cannot tell it is working for me by seeing real results every 1 – 3 days, I start losing interest, and unfortunately, food becomes the more interesting thing! HOWEVER if the results are there, every day, I am with the program!

I’ve recently lost 33 lbs, and while I have been keeping (most of) it off, I also know I have not increased my metabolism by building up the muscle needed to keep burning – so I know that it just won’t take much at this point to gain it all back and then some, because I have done this before. But I don’t want to go there! I still have another 50 lbs or so to go, maybe more. And my motivation is waning, as I have been at the weight for about a month. Your solution sounds like it is the perfect solution to not only get me to my goal weight, but get me to a healthy, strong, lean body and to keep me there.

Hi Joel, I’m a 53 year old mother of four grown boys and am in pretty good shape for my age ( I’m the ectomorph who wants to put on muscle and totally sculpt my mid section). I have read everything you have put out there and am very excited about the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet System, not only for me but for my sister who has been struggling with her weight all of her life. She grew up with our father and older brother teasing her, and now has a husband who makes fun of her, and has emotionally abused her, for the past 15 years (telling her she’s fat and that her weight is causing him to look at other women). After reading and listening to you videos this past week, your program really has me excited about using it. I am 34 yrs old and a mother of three and I will be getting married in August 2010. I am 4 feet and 9 inches tall & I weight 145lbs. Just recently, I had gained twenty pounds in three months. Yeah I was amazed at how I could gain that much in such a short period. I used to work out 3-5 days a week 1-2 hrs a day and really watched what I ate, my body fat was at 16.9% & I was 113lbs. About three years ago, I started bartending full time, worked late hours & of course ate whatever I wanted at 2am when I got off work. I am EXTREMLY MOTIVATED to changing these bad habits and my lifestyle to be happy and feel SEXY again. The reason why I am convinced of this program is the good theory behind it. Also the years of research with real people have convinced me.

In the years I’ve tried a few things with dieting, but I never reached the goals that I wanted. I workout 4-5 times a week, combining weight lifting and cardio and cycling (MTB), so you can say I’m a very active guy. Only I’ve never accomplished to see my abs or any other cuts. Come June, my sister is getting married and this summer I’m going to Florida with a buddy of mine and I would like to look great like I’ve never been before.
You really inspired me with the results that Vince and Flavia achieved.

What I need is an smart and effective way to achieve this goal, are you the man who can get me on the right path?

After a bad experience 16 days fasting on water, 2 months raw food diet, and a lot of different diets … after my weight like a pendulum went from one to another …. minus 20 kg plus 30kg .. then again minus 22kg plus 20kg …
After all this is the only lasting result – a damaged metabolism and frustration….
Yesterday while returning home from my nutritionist, at first time in my life thought over to leave the whole idea … and surrender…
Now I’m afraid to do anything because I can gain weight again cos my slow metabolism…
It seems as an ongoing bad dream…

Hi, I had my 70th birthday in February and know it is now or never to be the best I can be.
I am fit for my age, walk every day and occasionally do resistance work, but I have let the fat creep on!!
Am I too old for this programme? I hope not!! I want my grandchildren to be proud of me but, more than that, I want to be proud of myself.

I’m a senior at a highschool (in Australia). I’ve been lifting weights/fitness training for 4 or so years, but have never been super lean. I’m interested in learning about different training styles (more innovative/intense or just… different), but have way too many injuries from playing rugby (girls rugby is brutal..)! I need some fresh ideas for my exercise programme, and what I’ve seen about John’s stuff, it’s awesome.

I’ve tried a few different ways of eating too. Vegetarian for a year (ew), ‘bodybuilder bulking diet’, zig-zag eating, calorie restriction… this programme is like the best of all of them rolled into a one genius package.

The other thing is I’m studying to get my Cert IV in fitness, with plans to study further in physiotherapy/physiology when I finish school. I want to be an excellent personal trainer, and have been inspired to get into the hormones/nutrition/psychology side of health as well (again.. when I leave school. Sigh.) I want to ‘get my info on’ now and get as much knowledge as I can. Even if I didn’t follow the eating/exercise plan (which I’m planning on doing), the information in this package would be great for me to learn more about health (especially because it’s pretty uncommon knowledge).

Basically I’m looking for something new with my training, new with my nutrition to take me to a new level of lean (who wants a personal trainer that’s not lean?) while learning a tonne about cutting edge stuff.

Hi Joel, this program would help me complete my transformation. I am 50 years old and 5-10 and over the last 3 years I have gone from 244 lbs to 180 lbs. I have reduced processed foods and sugar, I am now a morning person and exercise 6 days a week. While I have done pretty well on my own efforts, I need help and the structure of a program that I can follow to reach my goals. I am hoping that this program will do that for me. If there’s one thing I’d love to give my wife for our 10 year anniversary this year it’d be the man she married. Let me explain. I was in really good shape when she said ‘yes’ and blessed me by agreeing to be my wife. Well, that was 30 lbs. and 10% of additional bodyfat ago. We met in a college fitness center. She has stayed trim and downright sexy while I, even though I workout several times a week, have not. I’m an emotional eater to say the least. I joke that I have “Fat Bastard syndrome”, I eat to be/get happy and I can only be/get happy if or when I eat. This program could go a long way in helping me get my body back and could help me be the man I want to be for my wife. I feel like I’ve cheated her. Now it’s time to put up or shut up. I have signed up to nearly every newsletter claiming to have the answer to “fast and easy weight loss”. I’ve been told to do ridiculous things, like spinning anti-clockwise 20 times each day, rub my stomach to ‘burn fat’ and even not eat 3 days a week. Eventually, it leads to the inevitable failure where it counts, the scales. I need the truth, and that’s what you said this program provides. I haven’t been happy in my skin for a while now, and I just need the right information to get me on my way to achieving my weight-loss goals. I was always chubby but still healthy. Then I got my wonderful daughter and gain 10 kilos… I was still healthy ( went to the gym on regular basis) This past last year a gain an extra 10 kilos. I have friends who are obsessed with weight loss, but all I can hear is extreme ways to doing so (stop eating this and that) I know I can not follow such a diet so I started doing research to prove to them that they are doing it the wrong way. There I was, checking out my Facebook account one morning, something I rarely do. (To be honest, I am not a Facebook-er. Still better, I implemented what I learned… except the exercise part (regrettably, I have a strong aversion to exercise!). In the three weeks that I have been diligently using your eating program, I have lost 15 pounds (with a long way to go still). A week ago, I stalled out and then received your “Five Sneaky Tricks” and figured maybe my body had entered starvation mode. I implemented your “cheat day” followed by a day of fasting, which jumpstarted my weight loss again. They say it takes 3 weeks to set a new habit. I just passed the 3-week mark for the eating part of your program. Now I’m ready to tackle the exercise part. I believe your full program will help me do that.

I have been training for about 6 months and am working towards competing in INBA Figure in October of this year (and hopefully the Natural Olympia in Nevada in November!!)
I’ve been facing roadblock after roadblock as my body is very unbalanced hormonally and is extremely sensitive. My trainer and I are continually changing my diet in a bid to find something that will actually get my body into a regular fat burning cycle but have yet to find the right thing. We both think your new program could be the answer and are anxiously awaiting the opportunity to try it!

I’ve really enjoyed reading and listening to your updates. Im a 23 yr old irish girl, im 5’9 and just over 12 stone. I find it very difficult to lose weight, i’ve been at the same weight (give or take a stone) for the last few years and i cant seem to be able to shift any further weight. I work hard at the gym and running and i eat well (but like any normal person i dont eat well always!) This program sounds like it could really work for me, I especially like the idea of knowing the right mix of food to go with the proper training to give even better results. I believe I’m an ideal candidate for your program. In fact, I want to shed exactly 25 pounds in a month or a less (because of a MAJOR event coming up late May and I want to look my VERY best). I’m already watching what I eat and I work out 5X a week, but something is still missing because my weight loss is really slow. I also feel like I’m depriving myself of foods I like. I’d like to have them in moderation every once in a while WHILE also knowing by “cheating” a bit on a certain day per week I’m not going to gain back the few or several pounds I’ve been working SO hard to lose the past week. I know you’re aware of such “secrets” and I want you to share them with me. Believe me, I’ve read so many books on nutrition and weight loss I’ve lost count and feel “lost” myself now because so far nothing has entirely worked for me as planned. I think if I actually stopped exercising I’d gain weight (even with healthy eating). This is really often frustrating.

I also know your diet isn’t a fad diet and is more about common sense than anything else because your book seems to be based on research and scientific facts, rather than “you should just because (and because I have no idea why)” and “this is what works so shut up and deal with it!” if you know what I mean.

As a teenager I used to be very skinny, and I didn’t like the way I looked. Over the years I developed some muscle mass, doing all kind of sports, unfortunately later on my body also developed an amount of fat that I can’t get rid of. The only time when I’ve lost weight and could really see the effects was during my holidays when I spent the whole days windsurfing or hiking. Obviously it’s impossible to maintain such a high level o physical activity all year round so my body quickly regained the lost pounds. By using your programme I’d like to prove that it’s possible to lose fat fast without starving and spending my life in a track suite, plus I WANT TO SHOW OFF MY MUSCLES, I know they’re there under that fat :o)
