I am currently making my way through a Masters degree and so like you, I too have endless amounts of academic journals to read though!!!
I have gone through Arnels 16 week abs challenge once already last summer, however through poor nutritional knowledge following *a moment on the lips, a life time on the hips*…that was the extent of my nutritional plan…. I didn’t see the result I was looking for, or give Arnels programme any justice.
Just through reading your updates, you have already gained my curiosity, as I had never heard of the hormone Leptin before!!

I am hoping that with your diet programme combined with Arnels 16 week abs challenge, this year will be the year I finally see results.

I turn 49 in few days and due to procrastination, work, family and other excuses i havent reached my goals, with you program believe i would finally have tools to reach goals i always knew i was capable of but never pushed myself or was honest enough with myself to admit I knew what i needed to do but didnt do it. Hi Joel..I’m very interested in synergy aspect of your program. I feel like a have a decent handle on my diet and training, however I don’t think I am taking full advantage of the benefits of eating certain foods at the right time. After my house burnt down completely I had to live in a hotel for months and the bad nutrition that came with it, caused me to gain back 10 of the 25 kg I lost before the disaster. It took me 2 years to loose it but gained it in just 3 months. I really want that weight and lots more of it (15 kg) to vanish and be toned and fit for the rest of my life. I have been surfing the web for a long time always on the search for a an effective method to lose body fat. What I have found so far were either exercises or diets but never a combination of both. Your program seems to be the ideal combination of exercising and dieting in the right way.

I got married 4 years ago at 37 for the 1st time. With the change in lifestyle I have picked up 20kg! I have desperately tried every diet I could find & exercise every day! and nothing is working! Your fat-loss system definately makes sense, & not starving yourself sounds perfect! I love doing weights & walking but now know I should do exercise in the right combination with eating. Picture this …. 6ft 1″ 42 years old, greying hair, weighing in at 20+stone most if not all the weight concerntrated around the trunk .. ie my belly!!! not a great picture i am sure you agree … but now let me widen your view ….

I find it hard to play sport with my eldest, my 6 year old wears me out in five minutes … and i definatley cant run after my 2 year old …. and as for jack what will he see his dad as … in 10 years .. fatter older not a good thought actually thats if the heart attack hasnt got me first!

I’m now 32, getting married next year, looking forward to having kids and need a kick start to give me the impetus to get my body and mind into shape so that I can keep up with the kids round the park and not be the huffing and puffing dad who has to shout at his hyperactive kids rather than just catch them up.

I’m a dental surgeon, 30 years old, with a heavy daily schedule. I’ve been looking for a straightforward approach to cut off the excess fat from my body for years. I need to get stronger so I can fight longer. I’ve been doing martial arts for only 2 years but my fitness is barely above average. I live in a rough area and it’s quite unpredictable. Joel, I have been searching for my whole life to find a way to lose weight so that I can live a healthy and energetic life. As a kid, my mom fed us all sorts of bad food, and all my brothers and sisters (8 of us!) all grew up with terrible eating issues. As a result, my older brother has type 2 diabetes at the age of 27 – the rest of us are overweight/obese. I grew up feeling powerless to the issue, and went to extreme measures to try and help myself. I became anorexic and fought bulimia as well. I knew it wasn’t the answer but it was the only answer I had. I sorted myself out a few years ago and went on trying until I found Rob’s ‘fat burning furnace’, which changed my life and outlook, and I believe your program will supercharge my gym routine and enhance my results. I’ve got the motivation, I have my mind and body away from my past problems, and I really want a second chance to prove I can be slim, healthy and live a long life without turning to eating disorders or ending up with obesity related diseases. Dear Joel,
About a year ago I embarked on an amazing fitness goal and was able to lose 40 pounds and reach a body fat of 8.5%. While I still work out and have good eating habbits, I have been unable to do one thing. Getting “Super Lean” as you like to call it like your friends Vince and Flavia. After reading all of your posts over the past few weeks I feel that your program is the missing link for me to reaching my ultimate fitness goal of 5 to 6% body fat, less is possible! I hope that you will consider me for one of your free programs because if you do, I assure you, I will add another success story to your already long list of them. I am 47 and have probably tried all these diets are world;) which they claim the best, and promise to achieve incredible results in the shortest possible time. Very well. Unfortunately, these only work in theory and in real life are not practikabel. So I’m honestly curious if there will be different with your diet.
But still the hope dies as the last:). So, convince me and give me a chance

Hello, I’m a person that tired easily with exercise program and I haven’t many pound to loose but I have fat mass following many operations my core is not strong and due to pain I lack of exercise. My stomach is very weak and I am not getting any younger. And I would love to have a well shape core.

I would like to move from the ‘Extreme Failure’s Diet’ to the ‘Extreme Fatloss Diet’!

I am a 56 year old mother of 7 and grandmother of 10 (so far!). For the past several years I have tried to get fit and healthy by eating healthy and exercising.
(We live on a farm in Australia and grow a lot of our own fruit, vegetables, meat and eggs).
I have done all this with almost no results. I have been running, and everyone said the weight would melt off me when I trained. It didn’t.
I am not hugely overweight but I have about 20 pounds that I can’t seem to budge. I have been gradually gaining still more weight recently due to menopause. How unfair is that!
I have tried many programs over the years, some that have promised amazing weight loss. I have had no success even though I have followed the programs to the letter. One recently said the average person loses 2-4 pounds a week, and I gained 3!!
I have especially been encouraged reading the reports of weight loss from your lean ‘guinea pigs’. I think a lot of the things I have tried have only been successful for people who have had an enormous amount of weight to lose and are sedentary with appalling eating habits. Then anything would work!
So, having read your amazing ‘appetizers’, I have been encouraged and am daring to hope that your program will work for me.

If I have lost the weight I can finally get my knee replacements done, I have been waiting 6 years because I can not lose the extra weight. I’m 47 years old, 195 lbs. I quit smoking a little over 2 years ago. I had quit smoking numerous times in the past, but now I am permanently a non-smoker. I gained 30 lbs after quitting smoking. I’ve tried dieting a few times, but it doesn’t seem to work. I’d like to get on a program that’s not just a diet, but where I can also work out on a gradient level, long term. Dieting by itself doesn’t work, the weight eventually comes back. Your program sounds much different.

I was thin until I hurt my back in the late 80’s. Since then my weight has went up and down until now when I weight 230 u to 240 at times.I am a proud nana who want to run with my girls as well as stop embarrising my teen son. My parents are both really ill because of weight probs that I don’t want to have. At 51 my life is starting to become more positive, I have returned to school, I want to travel when I am done and would like to look a lot better than I do now.I have beat every obstiacle in my way since I was a child. Over my 70 years, I have lost much weight on many diets. Unfortunately, it has been the same weight each time. I work out regularly, but I have never found that synergy between my workouts and my diet to lose fat once and for all. It has become very difficult as I age. I have the time to work out. I have the discipline to follow a nutrition program. All I need is your guidance on how to combine the two and gain the synergy to lose about 20-25 pounds of fat. Your blogs have convinced me that it is possible to combine the two into a fast fat loss. Can’t wait to get started!
