I’m a 17 year old guy about to finish high school. I will be travelling to Miami over the holidays and I want (I WILL) to look ripped for the beach. I used to be extremely overweight, but after using a variety of training protocols and a healthy diet I was able to reach 11% body fat and build a good amount of muscle. However I’m currently stuck. After 3 months of hard training and dieting I have only been able to reach 10.2%. At such a slow rate, I feel I won’t be able to lose all the fat I want and I won’t be able to show my hard earned muscle. I do my best to stay motivated but the cravings increase the more I diet, I often feel miserable when I go out with friends for parties and dinners, and I’m not able to drink or eat anything I truly enjoy, and despite those sacrifices I’m still getting no results to show for it.
I have searched for different diets and training routines to help me lose the last bit of fat, but I feel most of them have been designed for people who are extremely over weight and just wish to reach average or decent levels of conditioning. After reading through your websites and reading Vince Delmonte’s and John Romaniello’s success, I have decided that this is the program for me and it will help reach my goals.

Joel, I need this. I am you typical yo-yo dieter. Been anorexic, been bulimic, been fat, been skinny. This all resulted in a serious self image problem which I carry with me daily. I can’t say I never had to worry about my weight but I was always able to maintain it within a 10 pound range. However, over the past 15 years, my metabolism has taken a double whammy – I quit smoking and went through menopause. I have tried many other diets and I still spend countless hours in the gym. Although I manage to maintain my current weight through this method, I am still considered obese and I never seem to be able to lose more than a few pounds before I regain it again. The theory behind XFLD really fascinates me and makes a lot of sense. I appreciate the amount of research and testing that has gone into this program. I like a fairly structured method for weight loss and lets be honest, the promise of a cheat day AND rapid fat loss is extremely attractive. I am determined not to go into my 60’s being overweight and can’t wait for May 4th.

Dear Joel,
I am an athlete that has been struggling with weight issues all my life. I was always the fat kid that could never play any sports in school. But since then I’ve been determined to change that around. My dream is to get the chance to be a professional track athlete and I know it’ll take a lot of hard work. Joel, I think this program would be perfect for me because I know what I need to do, I just don’t know how to implement it. With some things I do, I need something to get me started that I can follow very literally, especially if it’s something new or difficult to learn/start the habit. I really feel that your diet system will let me get down to the ‘fighting weight’ I want to be at, and jump-start me further down the road towards a healthier lifestyle! Well i’m actually already on it as part of Vince’s MYM!!!..however, Vince didn’t give out much detail & I still have SO many questions, like can I have milk with the shakes, how many cal’s do I aim for on protein only days… any tips for vegetarians…

So if you want to make sure a freebee goes to somebody already dedicated, look no further. Just going to check my calipers.. I was on 12.5% on Sunday (195llb)… the calipers are now reading 11%.. so thats almost 3llb’s in a 5days!!
the fasting day was insane! 4 hours down the gym over 3 periods!!!
& I REALLY can’t wait til my cheat day tomorrow, yo have NO idea =P

I just really need the detail to make sure I max this program/time period out. I’m during my exam period for uni, yet despite this, i’m training insanely hard & trying to get as low a BF % as poss. Janurary I was 22%.. so far so good.. Please help me get to 8-5% so I can place in vince’s comp !!!

I’m an athlete and need to drop my bodyfat percentage in order to play college basketball. Please help me make my dream a reality. I train really hard, 4-5 times a week increasing strength and power but need to get rid of this stubborn fat that is holding me back.

I’m at a point in my life when it’s harder and harder to shed the unwanted kilos (yes, I’m an Aussie and we have the metric system here!) so I really need a program that will be quick and effective. I’ve hit the 40’s and I’m too busy to waste time on pie-in-the-sky gimmicks or useless fads. I have been unhappy with my size for so many years it’s not funny. Time to seriously do something about it and take back the hot body I know is under there somewhere :-)

hello joel, my name is Joanna and i am from South Australia, 19 years of age and definately wanting your latest system! i have so far lost 30 kg in a year and i want to lose another 10 kg to get to my own personal goal of 60kg.. unfortunately i am on a plateau.. and have been for quite some time. I have been on a couple of plateaus before hand but broke through them by changing my fitness tactics and nutrition strategies.. but i have once again tried to get out of my plateau but nothing just seems to be happening.. I have learnt so much so far about nutrition and fitness that i even want to get into it!!.. I believe i need this system to finally get out of this last plateau once and for all and decrease my body fat %!! I have achieved so much being a qualified beauty therapist and i just can’t wait to look hot! your system sounds amazing! well done on your success!

At the end of the day I see this as a positive step going forward to improve and maintain my health and well being permanently. Having exercised on and off over the years (short periods and long periods) and been really committed/motivated whilst noticing the changes in your body and feeling really good about yourself, to losing interest when you seem to come to a stand still.

In all honesty though I only have myself to blame as I have never really followed a program or joined a Gym but just read different magazines and books/articles and devised my own workouts/program from home. I see this as an opportunity to get into a program which would be way more advanced than what I could have ever designed and with the right approach, focus and attitude I feel I can achieve the sort of results I would like. Most importantly remain enthusiastic and stick with it long term and enjoy life to the full.

This system sounds great with necessary Cheat days included. My motivation can dip at times, but these days would keep me going. I don’t want to lose muscle, I’d just like to see them so this system sounds perfect for this. I’m a 36 year old mom who used to be a lean, mean D-I tennis player. I ate everything in sight and never worried. In my twenties, I lived in denial; while I was trading muscle for fat, the scale only crept up a pound or two yearly.

Then, my thirties and 2 pregnancies hit. Whammo – I gained 70 lbs each time and couldn’t recognize myself. It was a wakeup call, but I responded poorly. I crash dieted and ran endlessly, losing all but 10 pounds. I fractured one foot 5 times, killed my metabolism and became chained to crash diets.

That’s when I found “CYWT” last Thanksgiving. “Finally,” I thought, “normal eating, and I could lose those last 10!” But then, my husband had a major concussion. I stress-ate, thinking “this will be my cheat day” to excuse myself for falling off both CYWT and my own crash diets. It’s four months later and I’m 5 lbs worse – yuck!

Last week, I found out my father has cancer. I was crushed and started baking cupcakes. Then I saw your pre-launch emails, and I thought- “25 days. What a great way to get some fight back. I am really looking forward to using your program because since December i have gone from 13stone to 16stone as a result of a injury which has caused me to be unable to train until the last week and my overeating as a result of not being able to train and personnel issue. I now am looking for a quick way to shred the pounds and your program is exactly what I am looking for. I’ve also recently split up with my Girlfriend of 6 years so between that and my weight i am feeling pretty low in confidence and don’t even want to be seen in public or go out with my friends as a result of how overweight and fat i feel. I’ve struggled with my weight all of my life and am currently working to get to an even healthier weight. As the director of a culinary arts program, I feel that it is important that I set an example for all of my students so they understand that you don’t have to be “fat” to be a great chef. The work that a chef does is physically challenging and having the extra weight only makes it worse. While I haev lost 50 pounds so far, I still have more to go. This program makes sense and is certainly a program that even a busy chef/educator like myself can adopt. With so many overwieght chefs turning to bariatric surgery to combat their weight (have had several friends to that), I would rather my students see that there are alternative approaches to acheiving and maintaing a healthy weight.

I suppose my friends would say I’m pretty skinny or normal and that I have nothing to worry about. I have been on and off diets for years now, buying programs off the net and seeing no lasting results. I can lose about 2kgs, but not keep it off. Ideally I would love to lose 4kgs, and have LEAN muscle. I’ve always envied everyone with six packs and toned arms but have never in my 28 years been able to achieve it. I would love to get the body I’ve always dreamed of. I’ve seen your before and after photos and read all the advice you’ve offered so far. I believe your program is going to change my life! However I think I should be one of the lucky ones because, over the past four months I have been trying to lose the excess weight that I have been carrying for the past 20 years. I’ve been following your trail of informational power-bar crumbs since Rob Poulos at FBF dropped your link in one of his mailings. I’m looking forward to ordering a Xtreme set so don’t hand me one for free, you will lose a sale.
I’m a slightly thinner member of a family of mostly obese but happy folk. Genetics are definitely not on my side. My Father and Grandfather were both insulin-shooting diabetics by the time they were 50. I’m 44 and am starting to feel the clock tick. I’ve fought a weight problem since I was old enough to know what chubby meant. I’ve tried scores of diets. I lost 10 pounds on Atikins! Sadly, that would be 5 pounds of muscle and the same 5 of glycogen (10 or 11 times) while I gained about 20 pounds of fat. The only two other ways that produced any results were breaking my neck skiing in Nagano, (25 pounds) and having open-heart surgery (40 pounds). I can’t really recommend either to your readers. Presently, I’m in the middle of a 3-year string of cheat days that I also cannot recommend.

I’m 61 years old, living in Australia, and 60 punds heavier than I want to be. On May 5th, my husband (who is 63 and very fit) is going to England to do 2 months of walking, including the Coast to Coast Walk, and is leaving me behind because he doesn’t want me slowing him down.

I am Irish, living in Ireland and I am 42 years of age. I have been struggling with my weight since my 30’s when I stopped playing sport. In January this year I weighed 287lbs and I am now down to 266lbs since March. However, I can not shift anymore weight no matter what I do and I need to get to 196lbs for my ideal weight. I am searching for a solution that can help me as I never seem to be able to go lower that 260lbs no matter what I do. I see this program as a chance to help move me beyond my plateau weight and start moving to my ideal weight goal of 196lbs as I am running out of ideas fast and my life is too valuable for me to continue as I am.
