Dear Joel,
I am 55 years old, 6′ 6′ and 265lbs. Believe it or not, just three short years ago I weighed only 200lbs. Yes that’s right. I spent 15 years in China and lost weight, probably due to eating habits, more healthy foods and yes an exercise program I got on while over there. 10years ago I met my beautiful wife and we now have a bouncing baby, well not actually a baby any more, he is 5, and a monster in size, but a lamb in heart, we are blessed. Sorry, I am rambling. I have realized that my son needs a physically fit father during these next 10 years to pal around with and do all the father-son types of things. My knees are a bit of a mess, and I contribute it to the weigh gain experienced upon my return to the USA. I have been reading, and trying and starting and stopping all types of programs that I believe could work, but just seems to be so much time to invest before seeing results. I realize that the most important step on a long journey is the first one, and after listening and reading about your program, I believe it could give me the much needed boost of motivation to really make it work for the long haul. I grew up without a dad, and I oh so much want to be there for my son, in his formative years. I know I need to make a commitment and a change if my dreams for my son can come true. I just need a little boost and believe what you have is just that boost. I’m a 21 year old student, and I’ve been on a 4 year journey to lose 25 lb of fat and return to my weight during the time I was a competitive swimmer in high school. These days, academia doesn’t allow me to devote the 30 hrs/week that I used to spend in the pool. The biggest problem: I love ice cream. So much. My mission: look like a Baywatch babe at my lifeguard job in June. I need help uncovering the svelte smarty-pants who guards lives in her spare time that I KNOW is hiding under this pudge. Basically every other diet says this wouldn’t be possible if continue to enjoy the heavenly dairy treat I so relish. So you tell me, is this a mission impossible?

Honestly, to say that I ABSOLUTELY NEED this is an understatement. I’ve had high estrogen levels ever since I hit puberty (about 10 years ago), so my man-boobs drive me ridiculously crazy. I’m also a “skinny-fat” guy, like you. I started working out about a year ago and have definitely improved my chest, but the fat is still there. I NEED THIS. In about a year, I’ve gained about 30 lbs (about more than half muscle) so I’m at a solid weight numbers wise, but I seriously need the secrets to inducing the good hormones while preventing the bad ones from coming into play. I NEED to KNOW the things to eat throughout the week and the complementary workouts that come with it. I NEED to KNOW WHY cheat days are so damn beneficial (even though there is some info in your “Secrets” pdf). So yeah, I NEED this STUFF! Hey Joel,

I was not raised in a family that really knew how to eat right, and eat healthy. My mother has been overweight basically all of my lifespan, and I’m 30 now. I have had to put my life on hold and move back in with my parents to help care for my mother, who is not doing well due to many health issues. Most of which could have been prevented with a proper diet throughout her life from what I understand now. Even being diabetic she doesn’t even want to eat right because she is so use to all the bad stuff. I need to learn all I can about keeping healthy, eating right and taking care of my body, as I don’t want to end up in the same situation that I see my mother dealing with now.

I have been watching your videos and digesting your info over the last couple of weeks and i think your definately onto something with this new program your best yet.I dont have a hardship story to spin to you how im a pennyless blind one armed bench press champion who must have your program for free, i have tried nearly all the different programs out there but still cant loose that last few pounds of fat to uncover the holy grail (6 pack abs). Hi Joel,

I’ve been trying for years now to loose about 50 pounds of fat. I’ve been classifed as obese. I’ve been trying to eat right and I joined a gym. I am reasonably fit. So it is not like I’m lazy to do anything but it is very difficult to do it alone.

Since I’ve subscribed to your news letter I’ve received new inspiration. I still have all of them and browse through them regularly especially when I need sum motivation. It’s difficult to get a training partner with my hectic work schedule and with this program it will be like having my own personal trainer. I really really really need this.

Dear Joel,

Three years ago I lost 100 pounds with the slimband surgery. Now, I have gained 30 pounds and feel lousy all the time. My body keeps resisting any of my attempts in loosing this unwanted fat surplus. I have been on a starvation mode all my life. Whether I restrict my caloric intake or not, I always gain weight. After having 2 children, I have had some problem with my belly. I have tried diet alone but I have not been able to keep it up. A few months ago I started looking on the net and after reading about different ways to exercise and having a sensible diet I started implementing some of the ideas that I read about. So far I have lost about 4 pounds but I feel that I need a proper program and yours seems quite good for me as I am really keen to exercise as well as eat right. I would also like my husband to follow this plan (who needs to loose belly fat too and about 15kg) but I still have to convince him and if I can introduce him to your program I am sure that he will take the plunge. I need this program because i am doing regular work out six days in a week but still i am not reducing the weight. so i really wanted to follow diet plan.

I am a 55 yr old woman who started a lifestyle change in April 2009. Up until then, if you looked up “couch potato” in the dictionary, you would have found my picture. I have walked my weight down by 55 lbs. and got off blood pressure meds, but I want to lose another 60 lbs. I eat a healthy diet, log my calories and exercise regularly. I just purchased in home strength training equipment, and already have cardio equipment. It took me about 7.5 months to lose 50 lbs. Since then my loss rate has dropped, and now that Spring is here, I want to finish what I started. Winning your program would enable me to be living proof that you are never to old to get fit. I suffer from severe depression and have found that training helps, but I am finding it difficult to get the bum and legs I want. Well, I’ve never had a problem bulking up, but fat loss has always been a major issue for me. I’m currently doing lots of cardio, low-carb dieting, carb cycling, and all that stuff you can think off, and my fat just can’t seem to burn off. Typical story right? Yeah, it is, but let me tell you why I deserve your program more than anybody else.
I’ve been trying to lose fat so long, and one thing I lost more than anything are my hard-earned muscles. Dropping muscle constantly is no fun. Then I see people like Vince Del Monte, Lee Hayward and yourself, and I see dedication, something we all share in common. I want physiques like that. With a body like that, I’ll get to accomplish my dream and get to compete in next year’s local bodybuilding show.

But never mind that, one thing that amazes me is that I’ve seen you guys reach to the millions around the world with your tips. I’ve had people coming up to me and asking me for tips on bulking up, and I’ve helped them pretty well, but when they ask for fat loss, I really was clueless. Low-carbs, carb-cycling, fasted cardio, caloric-deficit? Honestly, what?

That’s why I need your help, Joel. Show me how to get ripped, and like you, hopefully one day I’ll change the world as well.

I’m at a point in my life where getting the extra pounds off (put on during my second pregnancy) is difficult, really difficult. I have been struggling for a couple of years now and to no surprise…..nothing works!
I’m so tired of the usual diets and training routines, sure you can get a few pounds of but it all comes right back again. I stumbled across Xtreme Fat Loss Diet System through a friend that recommended it. I have started implementing some changes in accordance with you 5 principles. Good new! I can already see changes, not much but changes.
My problem is that I have no time to find out the right diet system or training routing on my own. I need someone to tell me what to DO. I don’t want to do guesswork any more. Call me lazy but my kids and family takes all the time I have. If I had this program it surely would help me to reach my goal for this summer……namely looking my best in a swimsuit (haven’t even had a swimsuit on for years!).

Dear Joel, There are so many well written entries that I think you are going to be losing a lot more fat before you finally select the five lucky winners! My body fat is certainly too high as i recently stepped on the scales at my internist’s office and saw that it read 284 lbs. I am two weeks from my 85th birthday and it will be very near to my last one unless I am able to successfully get started pronto on a diet and exercise program that is reachable for my physically challenged body. I actually doubt that your program would be achievable for someone in my shape. BUT I would love to try it .

Well, I think that your program would really benefit me a lot for one major reason: I have been eating according to a nutrition plan for close to two years now. It’s worked out pretty well in the first couple of months and I lost quite some weight. But now, I seem to be unable to lose those last couple stubborn pounds (well, around 7) of fat. The main reason for this is probably the fact that my body has been getting few calories for a long period of time. I am just like every other man who wants to look good. I’ve been training for a long time now, but there’s just this one problem – I cannot lose the belly fat. It’s so stubborn that even after doing all the intensive workouts Vince introduced, it still will not go off. I am glad that you offer this chance for me. I really want to lose fat on my belly to gain that desired six pack abs. I’ve always wanted to boast to my friend about my abs, but the abs just isn’t showing. After being in shape for most of my life, I got injured and had to stop training and I gained alot of weight.

And since I was in shape my whole life, I never really needed to know how to get in shape if you know what I mean….I just stayed active and stayed lean.

But since getting the green light from the doctor to start getting in shape again, I have built up my tolerance and conditioning back up and I still do the same things as before but there is one big problem.

The fat on my body doesn’t want to leave.

It has made itself a permanent fixture on stomach, sides, and a layer seems to be surrounding my body where before it never did.

So how do i say goodbye to the Love Handles, Double Neck , and Supersized Round Mound of a Stomach?

I need to relearn how to get back to the way i was.

I have been yo yo dieting all my life. My lowest has been 144 lbs, my highest non pregnat, a whooping 236 lbs.
Have tried all known diets and a few i’ve invented myself, and nothing seemed to work permanently.
Am presently on Atkins , and although i’m feeling overall healthier, my workouts have suffered due to the reduced carbs. I love the high fat/ protein component and could easily adapt it to your “cycling ” or “cheat” days version.

By thoroughly perusing sites such as bodybuilding.com, Tom Venuto’s, Vince Del Monte’s , Will Brink’s, etc, I believe I’ve learnt a vast amount of information, albeit some of it conflicting.
From your impressive presentation, I believe you have wonderfully concised all the relevant , sensical information and compiled an amazing programme. Can’t wait to see it and implement it and pretty much prove my teenage children wrong, who don’t believe I can be a successful body builder. I know it will happen, and You can help me realise this dream.
