You know, I just turned 39. I need to make some physical changes before I hit the big four oh. Hi Joel! I think this would be great for me to do because truthfully, if I don’t see results within a few days I give up, I convince myself it must not be working so why try. I really need to lose quite a bit of weight (100+) for so many reasons, but right now the big one is I want to be a personal trainer but no one would hire me looking like this. Generally when I tell someone I want to be, they just roll their eyes and say uh huh. I want to prove to everyone including myself I can do it but I think I need your help. I used to be in the army and was ultra fit and lean. I did every sport imaginable and even represented England in hockey in my younger days.
Since I have left the army the pounds have piled on.
I have tried every diet imaginable and had a personal trainer to put me through my paces in the gym.
I need something to make me stick like glue to a weight and exercise regime that works and that I can see the weight dropping off.
I am 86 kilos and 163 cms high and need to drop to a healthy 60 – 65 kilos.
My weight is carried all around my middle so I know for my health I need to lose it.

Hey I am 39 years old and in the military deployed to Afghanistan i work with kids half my age and they don’t seem to be motivated to stay in shape. i work out 6 days a week but can’t seem to loose the old spare tire. Since returning home a few months ago after 6 months working abroad, I returned to a good diet. Luckily I continued my training while away, but it’s true what they say: “You can’t outtrain a bad diet”.
I recently started training with a partner again, and together with a good diet and a very good training plan, I lost a total of 9kg (20lb). I haven’t looked this good in years, but I’m still missing that last bit. Continuing my training while away helped me to a good start when I got back, but I credit my success 100% to diet. That being said, I still need to lose the last 4-5kg to start showing my abs.
My training partner suggested using some supplements to help us with that last bit of fat loss, but I don’t like the idea. I believe that is where your system will come in. I need to know how I can do it without resorting to lots of expensive supplements. I want to experience something different.

OHHH where to start…I am sick and tired of all this on and off dieting.From pills to shakes to low carb and back.I have tried the gym but have not really made any progress there a kilo or two here and there and then it finds me again.I walk as much as possible.I need some help and I like the sound of your program and really want to give it a try…

I would love to be a lucky winner because I am a 30 yr old female who, like so many others have tried many diet fads to no avail. I am within my healthy weight range and i watch my diet and exercise regularly. However, no matter how strict the diet or how hard i train i have yet to obtain the beautiful, toned body i crave. I recently celebrated my 30th birthday and i am happy to report that i love my life and live it to the full. However i would really love to start this new chapter of my life in the best physical and mental shape possible. I am within my healthy weight range but no matter how i stick to “diets” or how hard i train i cannot achieve the results i want. Over the last 20 yrs my life and weight has spiralled out of control, I’m 60 pounds overweight in part because of poor life choices: bad diet/lack of proper exercise, but also because I’m on long term anti-psychotic medication which has helped to pile on the pounds.
I accept that there are aspects of my life which I have limited control over, but how I look and feel about my body I do have a say in. If your programme is as effective as is claimed, then I can start to make a change not just to my physical health but also my psychological.

Even though I have lost 23lbs since February, I have plateaued for the last week – and still need to lose 50lbs just to get to 20% bodyfat. I will be celebrating my 20th wedding anniversary in June. Looking back at the years, a lot of great things have happened but one not-so-great thing is the 20 pounds of weight that have crept into my body over the years. While I have made healthy eating and exercise a lifestyle, the excess fat just does not seem to budge. And that is frustrating to put it mildly. Therefore, I believe I need a short-term, very focused program to offload the fat fast and then to return to my healthy lifestyle for maintenance. This program seems to be the perfect balance of diet and exercise to strip fat off a person’s body in the shortest time possible. However, that’s not even the best part, this is all done without the torture of the boring, repetitive diet typically required to lose large amounts of fat fast.
After years of experimenting and struggling with losing bodyfat I have discovered a means of losing fat quickly. Unfortunately, the plan I discovered is one of the boring, repetitive ones, the kind that are so tough that you need an extraordinary “why” just to make it through, and even if you make it to the end, you are so drained physically and emotionally that you regain much of the original weight trying to recover from the rigors of the plan. After spending the past several years(especially summers) studying and working on my career I will finally be able to enjoy one after I finish school in a little over a month. I am a martial artist also currently studying to become a personal trainer. I train in the martial arts everyday and I’m in the gym every other day. But for the past four years I have been at university studying music, and if you know anything about the uni life, you can guess where I’m heading with this…I put on about 20kg! I lost the first 15kg easily through my martial arts training and more recently my gym work, but now I’m stuck. I’ve tried heaps of different programs and completely overhauled my diet to help me lose my remaining flayer (flayer = layer of fat) and I desperately want to lose them by the end of the year, when I will be finishing my course and becoming a qualified personal trainer. Cause seriously, who wants to be trained by an average looking personal trainer?! I’m trying my best with what I know and from what I’m learning, but with the help of your program I know I can reach my goal and be a kick ass personal trainer at the end of the year!

my dream is to become a professional model but the only thing nagging me is my waistline(a plateau which i hit).i’ve come down from a 38″ to 34″ in 3.5 months time & i did make up my mind to reach 30″ in sometime(which i will).I do believe that this program can help me reach my target & once again thankyou for giving us this great opportunity to take part in.
I’ve learned so much over these past couple episodes and I see now that I don’t know the first thing about dieting and exercising efficiently. I’ve always been an active kid; my parents put me in any sport they could think of: soccer, basketball, volleyball, baseball… you name it and I’ve played it. However, as soon as I became too old for the organized sports I realized that I didn’t know how to get the exercise I needed on my own. Over the years I started gaining weight and all of a sudden I didn’t even recognize myself in the mirror. I thought I must have been hiding behind the larger person I saw in the mirror because there was no way I could have gotten that big. I started going to the gym about 9 months ago, but I’m not really seeing any results. After these first 6 episodes I’ve seen that I’ve been doing it all wrong. At twenty years old, I have spent nearly of my teen years abroad without my family. From living in Japan, to studying abroad in France, to working with doctors in the Philippines to living in China where I am now, I have learned that you need to go with the flow most of the time. This includes eating what is provided and what you can get. However, it is funny how no matter how exciting the adventure, it can always be tainted by being dissatisfied with your body. Over the past couple years I have poured myself into learning about exercise and nutrition. Ultimately just before I left to travel Burma, my search led me to your newsletter which led me here. See, the thing is, I am headed home soon and the time is coming where I am no longer in flux, where I don’t have to worry about offending my hosts or just getting something into my stomach. I want to take control of my life and change my body permanently so that after I graduate and the time comes to travel again. I can live the experience 100% and never again have to feel like the fat foreigner.

I am a mother to three year old triplets and I need to get my body back. I’m physically drained every day and I know that is partly due to my lack of physical fitness. I need to be the mom my girls deserve as well as a healthy role model for them to grow up with and learn good habits from.

After recovery from a brain stem stroke I am exercising daily now and have dropped from 277 to 263 pounds. Though my workouts are limited still to around fifteen miles 3X week on the bike and some flexibility work on a total gym, I am trying to get the fat off in an effort to get healthy again. At the time of the stroke I was riding 50 miles 3X a week but I guess age might be catching up to me. I started doing some walking this week and am doing pretty good with that now. I actually folded up the walker and am going it alone now. Improved balance is a good feeling but at 61 years of age the recovery is slow. My weight lifting has dropped to well below body weight now too but I am hopeful. A neurosurgeon told me that he thought it was absolutely remarkable what I have accomplished without physical therapy!! Too expensive though!! I am hopeful that some tricks I might learn through your program might help me achieve my goals of again biking 50 miles three times a week and getting lean again. The process is slow. The down time has really caused unwanted weight gain.
