At the moment, I weigh 114kgs, and feel awful. I know what I am doing is obviously wrong for me to get so big, but it feels like I just don’t have the time to go through the other programmes or they are all too complicated or time consuming.
I am a single mother with two beautiful girls, and it hurts that I can’t join in the activities that they are doing. We live in New Zealand, so our lives revolve around outside activities, and I want to be able to participate more, with them and for myself. My weight also impacts the girls in that people talk about how fat their mum is. Unfortunately you are judged by how you look. Losing weight will positively impact on every aspect of my life, starting with having the energy and enthusiasm to enjoy the time I spend with my children, and then moving on to my other obligations.
I run my own business, and am on the committees of two business associations, which is time consuming. My children are also members of the local Sea Scout group, and as they needed leaders, I am helping out them as well … but with so much going on I am dropping the ball.
Your programme will give me all the information I need to succeed, and will help me gain back my future. I know that it will impact positively on every aspect of my life.

About 10 years ago I was 265 pounds. I was shy and down on myself. I would eat dominos pizza and crazy bread at 11pm and woof down the whole things. Then I got sick of it all and I lost 100 pounds over 3 years with a lot of hard work, diet, and exercise. I felt amazing, my confidence went up and it was a great feeling. However, over the last 2 years I have gained weight again and I’m now at 220. I want to get back to 165-170 again, I felt great then, was in great shape with definition, and slept better at night. I still have mucles under this layer of fat. I know I can do it with a little help and motivation. I’ve been a little down on myself for gaining back about 50 pounds. I’m hoping this program will help me lose 45-50 pounds so I can see my muscles again! I am willing to follow the program to make it happen again. I have a bike, weights, a bowflex, and a bench. I just need a kick in the ass to get me going again. Seeing some results quick will help me get back to daily workouts again and being consistant with my diet. Once I start I get going. I worked too hard to lose that 100 pounds to gain it all back! Bring it on!!
As a committed Crossfitter, I’ve tried the Paleo Diet and its not working for me anymore. I’ve been stuck at my current body fat for some time now eating non-processed, all natural, whole foods and working out at least 4-5 times a week. I rarely cheat and I’m honestly a bit afraid of it, but I’m up to changing my current habits! Please teach me how to make the necessary changes I need so I can get over this plateau and have a flat stomach for my upcoming honeymoon.
As you can see from my blog I’ve already made great inroads in my quest to get lean and in shape. I’ve been quite meticulous with my eating and training (courtesy of Hugo’s BRE program). Having hit 10% body fat roughly, I’m keen to learn how I can effectively get below 10% rapidyl without losing lean muscle mass. Your program, from what I’ve seen looks to be the real deal!
For once I’ll try to be brief! After reading all of your email info I FINALLY feel like I’ve found someone I can trust, and take the advice given. For the past 2 years I’ve changed my life dramatically, I quit smoking, lift weights 3 to 4 times a week and hike. My eating habits have changed dramatically, from fast food to whole nutritional foods supplemented with protein powder during weight training routines. I’m 50 years old, 6’1″, went from 255 lbs to 195 lbs. I did this all on my own. I am dedicated and feel I can do this program to lose that last layer of fat.
I am at the point where I need to do something extreme. I have been battling with my weight since I was a kid and literally nothing I try seems to work. I have been going through the pre-surgery counseling required for weight loss surgery over the last month when I discovered your program. Since I literally have nothing to lose I am wanting to give it a shot before I commit to having surgery.

I think this is an incredible fat loss program that you’ve created. It’s crazy to believe that I could lose weigh by eating foods that I love on cheat days. As someone who has tried countless other diets to no avail and has seen my weight fluctuate up and down with more weight gained at the end of these various diets. Even with exercise, I am never able to get the desired results that I want. I just think this program will be well suited for me because I get some flexibility with my diet. Cheat days completely make sense because with any other diet it’s when you stop the diet and eat regular food that the weight piles right back on. I can’t believe no one has thought of this concept of adding cheat days into a program before. You’re a brilliant man Joel. I know so many people who will be helped by your program and have been telling everyone about it.
I’ve been looking for a program to use that would allow me to trim as needed but then go back to bulking up. Your program fits the bill exactly! I like so many others have been involved in the weight loss struggle for most of my life. especially in the past 15 years I decided to make myself as knowledgable as possible about nutrition and exercise. I have never been able to pull together a program that is able to keep fat and weight down, while maitaining a high metabolism and muscle mass, I have been particially siccessful but was somehow always missing something. Now as a woman in my late forties, I am even more determined to find something that will work through the difficult menapausal years ahead. What attracts me to this program, as it did to Cheat the Fat, is that is is deeply researched (not a fad like many other things), possible for average people like me not just people who live at the gym, and that it is fully comprehensive. I know from years of trying so many things how valuable such a program is and would be honoured to be one of the chosen ‘five’.
I am 63 years old and embarked on a weight reduction program of my own about 6 months ago and have lost 10Kg (22lb) from my starting weight of 86Kg (height 171cm). My BMI was 26%+ now <25%. Well, I’m stuck! I’ve been making progress, lost 20lbs, but need to lose about 15 more. I can’t seem to do it! Those last pounds just won’t come off. I’m training to run a marathon and want, for the first time in my life, to see some abs!!! Right now a 2-pack will make me ecstatic! Your program will finally let me realize a life time dream! Hi Joel, I have a big trip planned soon and would love to implement your programme into my schedule as I have great faith in what you have to offer. One thing that really speaks to me is the ‘cheat days’. Everyone knows cheating makes everything easier. Losing weight is so damn hard and I’m constantly craving foods (working in a supermarket doesn’t make it any easier), and I have always thought it wouldn’t be possible to cheat my way thin, but alas you have come along and given me hope.
I am 51 years old, 5′ 9″ and weigh in at 100 kgs. I have been trying to lose weight and keep it off for the past 20 years. I have tried a high protein diet, high carb diet, exercise, and of course diet pills. Now the pills certainly made me lose weight, I shrank in size but I found out that a lot of what I lost was muscle mass and I still had fat around my gut. It looked ok as long as I had cloths on but when i went swimming you could see that I was still the same shape, just smaller. I will admit that I am not the most patient person in the world, I want results yesterday, so this program offers excellent results in 25 days and this is a time frame that I can work with.
I’ve been on diets and programs for years and never got the fat off. Last year we had a Biggest Loser contest at work and I went from 189 to 155 in three months. The problems was at 155 I still had the fat on the sides. I guess its true… nothing but cardio isnt a good thing. Your newsletters make sense. Im incorporating things in my routine learned from you, Vince and Roman and using some of the programs too. I’m gaining muscle but my stubborn fat is still sticking on. Hey Joel, I have been reading each email this week and the more I read the more I like what I read. I am 54 years old and am now recovering after 3 strokes and major surgery. I have been given the all clear to exercise again, I put on a heap of weight due to my not being able to do anything, then I also gave up smoking, so was eating more, I am struggling to lose the weight this time around, I am dieting and going to the gym which is helping but I reckon your program will be the icing on the cake and will help me get my fitness and strength back. Trying to follow a good diet is very hard (especially while putting yourself through college) but I believe if found my answer in your program. I’ve done every diet known to man and even spent months making up my own. Sadly, I also fell victim to the weight loss in a pill scheme from big name companies. This resulted in a damaged metabolism, hormonal profile and in the end no results to show. I’ve gotten back on track and I am ready to handle a product that can actually help me, and THIS IS IT!
