I’m an 18 year old girl, finishing up my first year of college. I’ve been thick my whole life, I’m tall and I have an athletic build, but with access fat on top. I was chubby as a kid and then grew in middle school, I was skinny-fat during the begining of high school, then put on weight. I am tired of not knowing exactly what to do. I have purchased books, cook books, bought programs, and spent way too much time and money to get no where. I want to feel happy with myself and be confident. I have made progress after all the great info from you and many others, but I need this program to get me to get to where I see progress! Hi Joel, I have been obese for much of the last 10 years of my life, but I finally entered a biggest loser contest with some family members. I am a very competitive person, and that was the right motivation for me to get myself back into shape. I am glad to say that after 3 months of hard work, no cheat days, and total dedication, I managed to lose just over 30 pounds while maintaining my lean muscle mass and won the contest! I first heard about your new program via Will Brink’s e-mail promoting you, and I thought I would check you out. I am not someone who has had a weight problem all of my life. When I was in college, I worked out at the gym with a trainer several times a week and was on an extreme low fat diet. Through an insane training program I was able to maintain a healthy BMI and weight.
Now I am in my thirties and am considered morbidly obese according to the BMI chart. I have a 19 month old son and have been morbidly obese every since I had him. I lost a little weight at first but when I stopped breast- feeding, my weight began to soar up (and it was already high.) It has continued to climb, and despite my wholehearted attempts at low fat, Atkins, and every other diet under the sun, I keep on gaining. I take high blood pressure medication, and strokes and aneurysms run in my mom’s side of the family. I feel like I am a ticking bomb, and I need desperate help because nothing I am trying seems to be working.

I have been on the fluctuating weight roller coaster since I was diagnosed with a thyroid disease when I was in my early 20’s. I go from being ultra lean & fit one moment to having gained 20kgs in less than 3 months without having done anything wrong (diet & exercise wise) I have finally almost managed to get my weight within my ideal range but am having a few issues with shedding the dreaded belly fat :s it just doesnt want to leave. I’m REALLY impressed with your program, here at Ensenada, Mexico (where I live, as you surely guessed) we have a LOT of greasy foods (but ridiculously tasty, IMHO), and I’ve been another “victim” of them basically all my life… I started trying to be healthy at the age of 19, right now I’m 27 years old and to tell you the truth, I’m really tired, dissapointed and I feel like I’ve wasted my time working out my ass off trying to avoid the people saying things like: “you know Jaime? yeah, the chunky guy over there”.
I tried a lot of diets and excercises with little luck, I cannot say that they didn’t work at all, I have my set of muscles, but they are buried below a thick layer of a combination of colesterol and triglycerids (I’ve heard that they call it “fatness”)… I was shocked when I saw your approach to losing fat; I mean, “Strategic PIZZA”???.

I’m 42, female and used to have a very good body at 114 lb and was proud to wear my bikinis, now I’m chubby at 134, and was recently shocked by a candid photo of me, which was not at all how I remember me or how I thought I looked. Until now, I’ve always been fit and felt like my ideal weight was within reach if I ever slipped up and gained a few. I could use this program as I have been diagnosed with hypoglycemia along with 3 more clogged arteries that are unoperable. Cardio training is very difficult as I lose my breath quickly and whe my sugar goes down it crashes quickly. Learning how to eat properly and most importantly – what to eat- is my main concern right now. I want to build up my body and lose the extra weight I gained over the past 5 years. I’m a 58 yr. old retired airline pilot (and retired F-16 pilot) and was recently told I needed to go on blood pressure medicine as I am “borderline” hypertensive. I have never been on meds and don’t want to start now(in 26 years with my airline I never called in sick).

A breast cancer diagnosis has consumed my life the last eight years. I was first diagnosed in 2002. Then again in 2005 and again in 2007. I have endured multiple rounds of chemo-therapy and multiple surgeries. My weight was stable until my treatment. I have been working on my weight for a few years now( I am only 26 and a female), and I decided that this was going to be the year to change. I bought a treadmill, ball workouts and several exercise videos which has been working fine, but I have not seen the best result from them combined( and yes a diet too somewhat with very little sugars and soda except for my cheat day). I just graduated in December and 4 years of college was tough because I was always studying and would not watch what I was eating or even eating right. A lot of times I would survive on one meal a day because I felt that studying was more important than the harmless effects that I was doing to my body. For my age, I should be weighing in the 130s lbs for a 5’3 female. Lets just say I am nowhere near that and when I tell people what my weight is they are like wow really you look nowhere near that. I guess I just have a lot of muscles because I did workout( a lot of walking, gym, sprints, jump roping) but just not a lot from my unhealthy life style which was filled with junk food, or fastfood. I am so glad that listening to your tips about having cheat days and how leptin works has help me out alot. This program would help me a lot with not just my weaknesses but my stronger areas too. The program will be great for me because i have more than 50 pounds of fat to lose. I have tried a lot of things but i feel I need to do something extreme. I am starting a new phase in my life, moving to a different state and starting grad.school. Losing the weight will boost my confidence, increase my stamina and self worth and help me serve as a source of encouragement to others who think they cannot do it as they are big-boned or who inherited fat genes from their parents. This program is ideal for me. I live in a very remote part of Australia in an Indigenous community. It is dry (no alcohol) and there are no restaurants or fast food outlets. I can be totally focused on the program here as there are no temptations. I have been working really hard lately on my health and fitness and have lost 9kg in 10 weeks. My body fat is now 29% and my goal is to get under 20% and get closer to my dream of entering a figure fitness competition. I have come a long way over several years(not fast) in losing weight but ive hit a plateau as im sure everyone does and ive been on a backwards decline for several months now and its starting to get me down. I could really use with losing around 10-13 kilograms and tighten up the midsection, but it seems like ive tried everything. Im not a total novice, losing 50 kilograms like i have is no easy task when ur essentially poking around in the dark, but the real challenge is the last 10 or so i need to lose. Im moving countries in a few months time which in iteself is enough to worry about without having to feel down all the time with my halt in progress. The place im moving to will be in peak summer at the time, so my goal is to get ‘beach ready’, will you be the person to change my life around?

Not another skinny to beast story
I’ve always been on the chunker side all my life, and recently my weight has gone as high as when I was 9mths pregnet. I am now carrying all the weight that I had on at the end of my pregnacy, all the time. I have started walking, and where I live is some challenging hills. I am doing the hills and have been walking 2-3 hrs/day for about 5wks. In my clothes I have been getting a little smaller, but when I step on the scale, I havn’t lost even one pound. AAAHHH!!
About 6mths ago my dad went through a tripple bypass, I saw him at his weakest state and I didn’t feel too good about that. It is something that I wouldn’t want my kids to go through. I have moderate blood pressure, and a lot of fatigue… things that are not “signs of old age.” They are signs of poor health. I would like to be able to loose 60 lbs, in a healthy way.
I have always tried to keep myself physically fit. But now I’m approaching the mid 50’s and I can feel the flubber on my back starting to jiggle! I really hate that! I have seen my weight slowly climb over the last few years and I think your program is what will really help me lose the weight. I have read a ton of research myself and everything you have said so far makes so much sense. My husband (whom is in top physical shape by the way) and I are planning a trip to Europe in July so I really need to lose this flubber fast.
I only need to lose about 10 pounds but I have been trying for several months. I keep trying and then give up. It’s really hard at this age.

As a sporting referee aged 46 I have always had to keep myself aware of what weight I am carrying. Normally I am loathe to try diets as they always have foods listed that do not agree with me. I have tried vigorous exercise but that never quite fitted the bill. Once I got to read your secrets, a whole new way of thinking came into being for me. I am yet to start due to some injuries I sustained recently playing indoor criicket, but rest assured I am well into the planning stage of what to do once fully recovered.
