At 62, after having lost over 75 pound, I am stuck. I have tried everything I have come across and still cannot get rid of the remaining fat. I am carrying a pouch around the middle. My goal is to compete in natural bodybuilding ant to continue to do so well into my 70’s and beyond if possible.
I enjoy the mobility that I have, even though I have had a hip replaced. My recovery from that surgery was accelerated do to the shape that I was in after losing the weight. I live clean, no smoking or drinking, and work out regularly, but I just cannot finish the job. The information and strategies in Xtreme Fat Loss would be a huge plus in reaching my goal. I want to prove to others that age is no barrier, only an excuse.

Hi Joel! I’m 19 and I’m currently in the best shape of my life – but that’s not saying much – I’ve been very overweight my whole childhood and adolescence, but in my final years of high school I started seriously working out – most days after school I pumped weights and rode my exercise bike at my “fat max” heart rate zone – and it worked! (somewhat). As you well know – it’s easy to lose fat initially when you have lots of fat to begin with due to your leptin levels. Doing this I lost about 15kg!! I started to feel (and look) good – but not quite great. It’s my Mums 50th birthday this year and she’s desperately trying to get in shape for it and I would love (with the help of your program) to help her. My brother is coming home to New Zealand from the UK and we are going on our first ever family vacation to celebrate Mum’s b’day followed a few days later by a family wedding so lots of reasons to get into best shape! Mum has around 20kgs to lose and not too long left to do it in and your program sounds perfect. I am already relatively lean but I would love to take it to the next level and shed those last stubborn 3-4kgs before the camera comes out on holiday. I am 45 years old, and a competitive powerlifter, lifetime drug-free. This past weekend, I competed in the NY Championships, in the 275 pound class. I weighed 264.5. My next contest is the Police/Fire/Military National Strongman Championships. This meet is July 17th. My goal is to compete as a Lightweight, under 231 pounds. This gives me just under 3 months to drop over 30 pounds and keep my strength. I have tried just about every weight loss program out there, and I keep moving up in weight classes. I think that this program would be perfect for me to use, in order to achieve my goal in July.

I am a 52 year old post menapausal woman which in itself makes weight loss very hard and weight gain as easy as reading the label on a bag of Milano Wafers. Add to that, I have done an extreme amount of damage to my liver over the years which also makes fats loss a tough feat, but through the use of the few updates that I have received over the past couple of weeks, I have moved off the plateau I’ve been on for months. I didn’t realize what was causing my standstill until I read and applied what I’ve seen here. I’ve dumped 3 lbs in the last 10 days and love the cheat days which really helps my motivation and puts my body into a natural regulation instead of starving myself to death like I have been. I live in Po-Dunk, NM and do not have access to a gym but have a small stepper and a rowing machine. I would love to see some work out techniques that one could do at home and still get quality results. I weigh an unhealthy 210 lbs and my goal is to get to my premenapausal weight of 160. Then, perhaps work back down to my pre-pregnancy weight of 145. That is my goal and for the first time in 7 years, I think I could do this with your help. Also, burning calories vs. burning carbs, how does that work? Thanks!

Doing weights is a passion for me, I love it, it makes me happy everytime I do it, it gets my mind of all my homework, all my chores, all my problems and just basically all the crap in my life. I have been doing weights for 2 years now and have seen some great improvements, the only problem is, I am at 13% body fat. You can’t see the muscle on my body that easily, and that’s something that I’ve been trying to change for a long time. I have tried everything under the sun to lose weight…with no sustainable success. I have tried Atkins, Weight Watchers, pills and supplements, and the “next best thing” in exercise. I currently have a fitness club membership and go regularly…even solicit help from the staff…but the scale doesn’t move! I follow your advice regularly and trust with my heart that you will get me where I need to be…for my health an life! I need to lose around 100 pounds…so please help!

I am somewhat familiar with some of what you have been talking about, but I have never had it set out in a way that I could follow easily and actually see results. I could sit here & tell you that I’m a 27yr old Australian female about 20kgs (at least) over my ideal weight (currently about 170cms tall, 100kgs). And, well, I guess I just did. I joined my gym in Aug 07 & have lost up to 12kgs in that time – a very long & slow process!! However, I have also put back on about 5kgs in the last 5 or 6wks.

As much as I might blame everything happening around me, I know this is not an excuse. There are no excuses. My number one reason I’m where I am is because I’m lazy – I’ll admit it!! I have very little motivation at the moment (my trainer would hate read this!). My second reason – my diet!!

I always feel great after my one PT session on a Saturday late morning & when I’m eating healthily. However, this too has fallen. I seem to always be snacking, badly, during the day &, due to not leaving work until late, I don’t have the option of going to the gym during the week & normally succumb to having something “ordinary & bad” for dinner.

After reading/listening to your Member updates over the last week, I truly think this may be the “kick in the butt” that I need to get back into my “eating healthy & losing weight” mind set. And even toning up too!!

I am 38, a mother of 2 teenagers & I sit all day for work. I am finally at the point in my life that I have some free time to do things for me. Most of my friends are about 10 years younger than I am. I am having a hard time with getting older and having my metabolism slowing down etc. I don’t think anyone would look at me (clothed) and say i was overweight but I would be embarrassed to have anyone see me in a swimsuit! Over the last few months, I have been working diligently on my physical fitness – joining a bootcamp, learning to row, biking to work and most importantly, I’m in week eight of Craig Ballantyne’s fantastic Turbulence Training program. The one thing I have really struggled with is maintaining a nutrition schedule that works for me and accelerates fat loss – and at this point, with nine weeks to go before my June wedding, I am desperate for some guidance so I can look my best on the most important day of my life. I know that I’m developing the all-important core muscle strength, and I’m proud of my fitness progress, but I really feel like I’ve hit a roadblock that only a dedicated, practical and specific nutritional approach will help me get past. I have tried every sort of diet pill and diet plan out there! I was always average build until I had my 3 beautiful sons and now I can’t seem to get the weight off and keep it off no matter what I do! I have 3 little boys to chase around so finding time to count calories and do long exercise routines is very difficult but I will try anything to get my “pre-baby” body back again! Well lets see. I am 37 years old and went from a nice trim 6 foot 2 225lbs. to 325lbs.! I was an athlete most of my life. I got hurt and got fat. i am working out with weights but very limited on the amount of cardio I can do. I never had to diet before and need the help! I have three little boys I am trying hard to set an example for! I am also trying to get back into shape for me, my boys and to find a new wife! It is a sad truth that you can catch a better date buff then fat! HELP!!! I’m conditioned by what I’ve been taught about diets…”Cheat days”..for real?..Foods that help burn calories through the night?? I’m intrigued and I need Help “Big time”. My excess weight is also compounded by “menopause and a pulmonary embolism” ( happed 3 months ago )not to mention the “stress” of it and the fact that there are certain things I cannot eat and exercise is limited. Man, this is going to be quite a challenge for me. I had always been called the fat kid in school before and even my brother used to call me ‘pig’. However, I am fully intending to banish this stigma of mine forever by losing all those flabs I have. With intense workout within the past few months (and also some form of dieting), I have went from 31% body fat to 23%. I am hoping to use your new program to lose that last 7% fat in my body in order to be truly lean.

Hi Joel. I’m excited to be writing to you and am asking for your help. I’m turning 30 in August and have given myself that as a deadline to get my body sorted out. I used to be very fit and healthy, but over the last 10 years, I’ve gradually gained weight and now have about 65lbs to lose and lots of muscle to gain. I’m a single mum so life’s pretty busy and putting alot of effort into exercising and eating right with conventional plans isn’t something I can keep up for long as the results are minimal and don’t seem to outweigh the downsides of giving up lots of time and energy. I also work as a health professional and it bothers me that I’m not truly demonstrating what I’m talking about.
The reason I’d love a copy of EFLD is that it seems like a feet on the ground system that I can make work for me around everything else and will be easy to maintain long term because of the maximum results for minimum time workouts and the eating plan that is not so restrictive that I’d eventually go insane trying to stick to it or give it up and head for the nearest chocolate cafe for a weekend break! I can’t say I’ve tried every single diet out there but close. So what makes me want to try one more? You – your very convincing.
