Hi Joel,

I’ve only just started following Flavia’s FBL workout program, i’m fairly adept with the training but I fall down when it comes to nutritional requirements….I need help with the nutritional side of things. Ultimately my goal will be to compete in some sort of amateur figure competition here in Australia. The diet side of things always holds me back & prevents me achieving the results I want, short of binge eating to drop weight (which I know is ridiculous because I lose lean muslce mass not fat stores) i’m at my whit’s end! I’d love your help to make my goals a reality instead of just a dream.

Dear Joel,

I have always been a big girl all my life. On my 26th birthday after yet another failed attempt to lose weight I decided enough was enough and saved up to have a gastric band. I did manage to lose weight eating barely anything but unfortunately after 3 years disaster struck and my band had to be removed. As my body had been in starvation mode for a long time (I had every complication you can think of with the band), once the band was removed, I put weight back on rapidly. You can imagine the despair!!

Fast forward 6 months after my band removal, I have decided once again to embark on my weight/fat loss journey. I am working out almost everyday. I don’t know how effective what I am doing is but. I am losing on average a pound or so a week. It is hard but I am not giving up this time. I have 50 pounds to lose and I am hoping to do this as quickly and safely as I can without losing muscle.

Joel, I found your program by chance after numerous searches on the I internet. After listening to your audio and reading the free e-books, I have managed to lose 3 pounds in a week!!! You can imagine my excitement! I am determined and willing and I want to show everyone that the fat girl did make it after all.

In my younger days I was pretty active, doing weights and generally keeping fit doing lots of walking, rock climbing and other adventure sports.

Later on like most people, children, work and life commitments left little time for me to indulge such things, and now today at 42 years old I have put on at least 30 – 40 lbs of flab. In my 20’s I had a six pack, though these days they are a distant memory, and I am actually embarresed to get my shirt off in public, let alone go swimming with my young son like I used to with my older daughters.

Although I have tried to lose the weight again recently it is just so much harder to keep the motivation up for training than it used to be, especially as I have always been the hours in the Gym type, and even when I am working my ass off it still seems to have no effect at shifting the weight these days.

I don’t expect a quick fix and I know I am going to have to put the work in, but I would really value some guidance so I can be in the best shape of my life over the next few months and spend the quality time with my son that he has missed out on.

I`ve tried many kinds of diets but all I achieved was just temporary weight loss which leaded to even higher weight gain at the end… Of course with the impact on my health… I don`t want to be depressed anymore, I want to be healthy on the first place and satisfied with the way I look… I want to start loving the girl in the mirror…. Hi Joel – I am 46 and in the best shape of my life (down to about 17% body fat). I’ve been working with a trainer for a year, using many of your methods for both exercise and carb cycling/cheat days, but I’m ready to take it to the next level – I’d like to get “ripped” (for a girl :)) and maybe down to about 13% body fat which I know will be extremely hard. I’m looking for new information about how to combine exercise and diet to help me achieve that goal and it sounds like you’ve put together the perfect mix of information that will expand my education and help me move a little closer to my goals! I will be 44 this July. I have always been a fitness fanatic and I have tried several programs bought through the Internet to improve my shape. Most did not work. Others worked only to some extent. I seemed always to be stuck at 72kg with about 18% fat. Then I found another program (which I will not mention here by name) that helped me to break that sticking point and I went down to 69kg and 12.3% fat. But my lifetime dream of going to single digits body fat seems to be quite impossible for me. I am stuck again at app. 12% fat and I can’t break off from this sticking point. I have almost given up and this program would probably be my last attempt to reach my lifetime goal. If it fails me I will accept the fact that for me it is impossible to go down below 10% fat. This is just what I need. I used to do lots of aerobics, weight training and exercise in my teens/twenties. I had two kids and two failed relationships, 20 years of yo-yo dieting and no discipline has left me with a body I want to hide. I understand your principals, and whole heartedly want to change my life and my fitness and health is a key part. I want to be looking fit and fabulous at 50 not fat and flabby! i would really like to be one of your real-life case studies. i have always been a chubby child and struggled with weight loss. Reading all your updates has made me realise that i have been going about this weight loss journey the wrong way. it seems i have nt only managed to mess up my metabolism but it has cost me even more weight gain.

Hi, I am 42 years old. I have struggled all my adult life with food addiction. I am a caregiver to my friend. She was in a motorcycle accident 15 yrs a go. I need to get my body, mind and soul in check so I can help her and myself. I have the desire and motivation. I am working with a doctor for food allergies. I train 4 days a week w/ 3 days of cardio. My nutrition is in check. With all this going for me, something is still missing. I need to find what works for me. What I am doing currently doesn’t seem to be the answer. I did well last summer. I joined a transformation contest and got in the top ten female. My body is now at a stand still. I still have30-40 pounds to lose. I recieve your very motivating and informative emails. I have always been extremely stocky most of my life. I was doing some research on the internet over 2 months ago when I literally stumbled across this plan. During my readings, my wife, who is always skeptical of everything, who is also a personal trainer, told me to quit wasting my time. Everything was a scam. I told her I think I found something that makes complete sense and will work for me. I could never follow any other so called diets because I am a very picky eater and most of them require you to eat things that I don’t enjoy or left me still hungry.

This plan not only determined that I was a protein eater but helped me establish an eating plan around foods that i actually enjoy. I have been on this plan for 1.5 months now and have lost considerable weight and have slimmed down. But most important to me was I am healthier than I have ever been and I am lean. I lost the big bulky me and I am fit. I am in better shape now than at any point in my life. I train at gym by following your interval training and my strength has remained the same while still leaning down.

I would love to continue to learn more and evolve. BTW… my wife is now following the program and loves it. She looks amazing now. She hopes we win the free copy to continue our learning to a happier healthy lifestyle.

Hi, I’m 46 and carry a stubborn 20 lbs (well, at least) of extra fat around, have been for more than 10 years. It was the common pregnancy weight explosion, but now that my kids are more independent, it’s time to take care of it. I love exercise and do quite a bit, and have also started to count my calories, but weight loss is _very_ slow. I know I’ll get to a decent weight on my own, but what I am hoping to achieve is a truly lean and (moderately) ripped body. For that, I need Xtreme measures!

Were do I start! I’m a 51 YO over weight woman, who needs to get control. I have 3 sons ages 18-22 and want to be around for as many years as I can. I look in the mirror and see my mother. Unfortunately she was only with us for 78 years. I hope to beat. I know tha only way to do that is to change the way I eat and exercise. Your progam is just what I need. At 53, with an extremely stressful job, a pre-adolescent daughter, a very lean, marathon running husband, I’ve been fighting for a few years to try to get rid of excess weight that seemed to accumulate without my knowing it. I’m 5’4″ and now weigh 130, which doesn’t sound bad, but when I was at 105, I at least had the energy to feel my life was under control. At this point, I feel exhausted and depressed almost all the time, and I’m sure if I could just get my weight down I would be able to find the energy to make the changes I need to make. Looking at your report, it looks like you have figured out a scientific way to get around the obstacles of weight loss. In any case, I sure would like to try it.

i have been subscribed to your newsletters for more than an year now…not only yours but almost all the fitness gurus available on net. After my first baby i was 20 lbs overweight and with the help of these newsletters i lost almost 10lbs but due to my present lifestyle and ofcourse a baby i hardly get time for exercise.but from next month she’ll start going to school and then i’ll definitely get back to my routine and will get rid of this extra 10lbs too :) (and m dead sure about it).

Hi Joel, I am still very interested in your Xtreme fat Loss Diet. At 65 yrs and a pensioner weighing 148 kgs I know I have to lose weight (fat) from my system and I need to do so quickly. I believe your system seems to be based on very sound logic, all I now need is the final details of the program so that I may start to enjoy the activities that my 4 grandchildren are consistently asking me to join them in, and currently it is just too difficult to give them any real satisfaction with meaningful play. At 50, my story is fairly standard. Married young (21), we raised our family (2 girls), and built a business. During that time I was active with things I enjoy (bike riding, basketball, squash). I have never had to “work” to maintain a healthy(ish) body.
Over the years however I have slowly bulked up a bit. Just a pound or two a year. Earlier this year I set a goal of doing a “century” bike ride (100 miles/160 km) this summer. In preparation for this I have joined a gym to do structured work outs for general fitness and muscle development. I am also looking to lose 25 lbs of fat.
I am 6′ tall and weigh 205 lbs (93 kg’s). When I joined the gym they did an assessement and said I had 24% body fat. My weight goal is 180 lbs & ~14% BF.
Also as a means to an end, I have been cramming into my head as much information as I can get my hands on in regards to diet, fat loss and fitness.Your program makes the most sense to me and is what I want to use.
Incidently, it may seem I’m going to great lengths for just one bike ride. I did a century ride about 25 years ago, just decided to do one, hopped on my bike and did it. I swore I would never do another one! It’s taken 25 years to get over the pain, but I’m ready to try again. This time I will do it right and for that I need your program.

At 45, and with 5 kids, the youngest of which has down syndrome, I definitely would need to shape up in order to give them the best possible attention I can. With better health, (I am currently at 73 kg at 1.63 cm and fat 31%) not only will be able to do that, I can be an inspiration to others and show them how. My job can be stressful and my sleep tend to be disrupted due to a bedbug problem which is controllable but irritable , all of which adds to my gaining of weight. As with age, metabolism slows down too. I want to take charge of my health so as to be a blessing to others and be serving God even better!

Eating is the hardest part, to know how much, and in what increments. I’ve done calorie cycling, I’ve done low-no carb diets, I’ve done no sugar & no carb and I’ve crashed through all of them feeling drained and tired and lost no weight (with exercise)! I’m hoping this will end my plateau, and teach me a new way to improve my metabolism and my eating behavior.

I am 53 not in bad shape but do have fat to loose. I need the program to help me with that last body fat % I can’t do on my own. I have to 2 grandaughters both 18 months which I watch everyday and still I manage to find time to go to the gym ( 5 a.m. I get up at 3:30 to get myselft ready and my husband and daughter ready for the day). I don’t mind hard work weather it’s for my family or me so I know this program will help me with my last weight lose goal please help me with this bucket list LOL
