I am a 48yr old mother of teenage boys. I am so tired of losing and gaining the same 12 -15 lbs. I am only 5’1″, so that amount of weight gain makes a big difference on my small frame. What am I doing wrong and why am I not understanding how to keep the weight off!. I have looked at your before and after photos which are quite impressive and inspiring. Plus as a special bonus I have my 30yr high school reunion coming up at the end of June and I wanted to look hot!!

Dear Joel,

I am 28 years now.

I have been struggling with my last 5 kilograms or so for almost 8 years, not knowing the secrets of losing the last inches of belly fats.
After getting to know you, Mike Geary, Jon Benson, Vince Del Monte, Arnel Ricafranca, Nick Nilsson, I felt I finally got it and I did. Christopher Guerriero also inspired me psychologically to persist and not to drop out. Now I am fighting with my last 5-7 pounds of belly fats. I feel I can already see my abs but with special light angel and distance from the mirror…..you know this feeling?

The great thing is that you all filled the gap between the pro bodybuilding world and the mainstream people stuck in the middle of the way.

Just entering this competition would make me feel enthusiastic and grateful anyways by being a part of the events and also to be able to tell the others about your leptin system.

Over the past 20 years, I have found it harder and harder to lose weight effectively. This has led me to become a triathlete who can spend upwards of 15 hours a week exercising and watching what I eat, the results on my diet and efforts seem minimal for what I am achieving. I am looking to jumpstart not only my results, but to be more effective and efficient. I am putting in the work and exercise, but not getting the results, so that all comes back to I am not eating properly and need to change this component. I still have about 50 pounds to get to where I want to be, but at the same time, the slower my weight currently comes off, the more pounding my knees and joints are taking since the only way my weight is really coming off is by insane amounts of exercise and it comes back on once I go to anything normal. Give me the knowledge, and I will gladly give you the sweat.

I am a 55 yo woman, post-menopausal which means the belly fat I already have is very stubborn about leaving. I am also a type 2 diabetic with bad knees (even though I have been overweight since grade school, I loved to run and play hard and was an athlete–running, tennis, volleyball, esp.), so I have arhtritis in my knees and ankles (did I mention injuries also?) and cannot do high impact exercises. I have lost 31 pounds in the last 2 1/2 months and am using a recumbent bike for cardio, but I am currently on a plateau weight-wise for the last 2 weeks, even though I have increased the instensity on my bike and haven’t varied from my diet. From what I have read of your program, I think it may be the key for me to advance in my weight loss and fitness and improve my overall health (better blood sugars and less stress on my joints). It seems like after alot of false starts (if you want to call it that0 with WW, Nutrisystem (which I regret because I definately lost muscle with it and gained back fat) and other diets, I feel like I am finally getting it all together and would love the opportunity to advance on to something for the long haul, not just a quick fix. At 60 years old and caregiving my Mother and her friend, I feel a desperate need to stay healthy, fit and well. My name is Jeevan and based on your previous updates, I have found that this Fat Loss Program to be a program worthy to take a chance on. As other diets give you quick results in the short run but damage your body in the long run, I have come to believe that this diet will truly give me the results i’m looking for. I’m currently longing for this program cause i’ve been trying to lose weight for the past 4 years, But alas, i keep failing. I’m not looking to impress people with looks or how fast i lost weight if i do get this program. I just want to be healthy as i lose weight and i would certainly recommend this product to all my friends and family if I do reach my goals with this program.

I was never ‘heavy’ but 10 months ago I decided to actually get in shape, and in particular, actually see my abs. I have no problem with self discipline and can be very strict with myself, both in terms of diet and working out. After about 2 months of intense, strict focus I had decent success.
THE LAST 10 LBS ARE THE HEARTBREAKER. I have honestly been busting my butt and diet with no compromise for 8 months– there hasn’t been ANYTHING in my life I have focused on or worked so hard at in my entire life, yet I can’t get any further results. Although I never gave up, there are times I am so angry or actually want to cry, because I have worked so damn hard.
Maybe your program can help me break thru.

If I strictly follow a 1200 calorie diet and include 30-45 minutes of exercise daily, I can lose 1/2 pound per week; however this feels like deprivation and I cannot deviate from it or the weight never comes off or I regain in 2 days what I struggled to lose over two weeks without even taking my foot off the diet brake. Now at 48 I am finding that even the smallest amount of weight loss is a struggle. I am looking for something that can give me dramatic enough results to stick with a diet and exercise plan. I like how this program integrates nutrition and exercise and how it works quickly enough to keep you motivated.
Currently I am living overseas and do not have access to books, “normal” western foods, or a gym. Other diets that lay out what to eat at each meal are therefore impossible for me to follow. I am also a nutritionist with years of experience in wt loss counseling but this is still a struggle for me. I want to be able to provide real help and support to my patients who find wt loss very difficult as well as be a good example to them.

I’m fat. Even worse, recognizing this and still not doing anything about it is painful. I can try to explain it away as leftover from being pregnant or the post-partum depression that followed or even the comfort I get from eating. But it doesn’t matter, I’m still fat. When my son asked if I was pregnant again, I avoided it and simply asked if he really wanted another baby brother. Do I watch what my children eat & make sure they get some sort of exercise each day – absolutely. But am I a good role model for this – no. Do I sit on the sidelines because I’m embarrassed at how I’ve “let myself go” – yes. Does it hurt my marriage – yes. Sadly, nothing motivated me to change. That is, until a few weeks ago. Now, I finally have my head in the right place to want to make a change – I’m watching what I eat, I’ve started exercising, I’ve lost 5 pounds & I feel awesome. But, I have a long road ahead of me to get to where I want to be. The Xtreme Fat Loss Diet won’t just help me get there faster, but being able to see results quickly will help motivate me to stay on this path. In December 2006, I quit smoking…..gained 30 pounds over the next 10 months and then got pregnant!! I have been overweight ever since~I am wanting to lose 50 pounds and the harder I try-the more I gain! I don’t get it! But I am not giving up! My 11 year old daughter and I are the same weight!! I want to get into shape and at the same time inspire her to do so as well. My son will be three and keeping up with him is so hard to do!! :) I get frustrated and just feel like giving up sometimes! Thanks for all the fabulous information that You have imparted in the last few days. When one stops to think about your methods they make absolute sense.
My troubles began approx. 6 yrs ago when i hit the big “M”. What a horror show! Not only was my body doing odd things but my mind went AWOL too! At the same time I had two major injuries that kept me off my feet for nearly 2 yrs! (here i will shamefacedly admit to trying all those quick fix products with no results) Anyway, suffering from serious depression plus the injuries has added nearly 85lbs that I now have to loose, for health reasons, as well as my own mental well being.
I have managed to loose nearly 25lbs in the last cpl of months and I am finally starting to want to move. I look forward to the information in the Extreme Fat Loss Program and wish to thank you and all the friends that helped you build this amazing program. I know it will work!

I am 44 years old and have been a single mother for the last 18 years. Now that both my kids are in college I want to make myself important again! I lost a true sense of who I am and what I am capable of while I was raising my kids and I need that back. I know it’s not going to be easy because nothing worthwhile ever is, but I want to challenge myself and come out victorious! I want to feel good enough about myself to start dating again and to start my life over in a new healthy body! I want my kids to be proud of me and I want to be able to look at myself in the mirror (not avoid it) and I want to be proud of me too! I have tried every diet under the sun over the course of 21 years and with all of them, if I lost, it was only water and muscle, never fat, and I put it all back on if not more as soon as I stopped it. When I’m “dieting”, I am always miserable because I hate feeling like I’ll never be able to eat some of the foods that I really like. I feel like a fast day sacrifice will be worth it to be able to “cheat” once every 5 days. I need this, I want this, I CAN DO THIS, and I will make YOU proud of me too!

Hi Joel – I would make a perfect candidate for your XFLD system for several reasons. I am 38, 5’8″, 21% body fat and 182 lbs with a BMI of 28.7. I am a very strong willed person who quit smoking 8 years after smoking a pack/ day for 15 years prior – that kind of will power, dedication and discipline is what I already possess. Unfortunately, I have been trying to find the perfect system that will break the mold of the fads, pills, potions etc. If I had the right plan, I know I will succeed! I recently went on the master cleanse and didn’t eat for 11 days…just drinking the lemon juice, maple syrup and cayenne pepper…salt water flushes, etc – despite cleansing my entire digestive tract, I burned muscle and severely slowed my metabolism in starvation mode and became what you referred to as “Skinny fat” . I have too much visceral belly fat surrounding my organs with higher than normal blood pressure for my age… cholesterol is 225, my LDL levels are unhealthy…ironically, I am very active but employed behind a computer. I am 28 and have been trying to loose weight for a while now with no results. I am a mother of 3 and a wife who wants to look its best and now I don’t feel my best. I am a 47 year old woman, and a 22 year veteran firefighter. After several rounds of steroid therapy involved in a yearlong rehab to return to work after a torn Achilles tendon, I put on quite a bit of weight. I have tried multiple methods to shed this weight with minimal success. I have come to find this extra weight not only is causing increasing joint problems, but is affecting my job performance as well. 52 year old male, who at 6’7″ am weighing in at about 280, I have recently been told that I am no longer pre-diabetic and need to make an urgent change in my lifestyle. Also suffering from arthritis and peripheral neuropathy, a good weight loss program would be very helpful at this time, I have previously done quite well on weight lifting and exercise programs, however lately find myself in a rut. I am a 46 y/o guy that weighs 285. I have slowly been gaining weight for the last 18 years, I have put on about 50 pounds in that time frame.
