Hello Joel,

I am a 45 year old woman who has struggled with her weight since taking fertility drugs 10 years ago. I put on 40 lbs before I even got pregnant and then another 80 during the pregnancy. I was on bed-rest from month six. Since having my beautiful daughter, I have tried every diet out there. I am currently working with a personal trainer but do not see the results I would like. It is nearly summer and the last thing I want to do is be covered from neck to toe again for fear of someone seeing how heavy I am. I really appreciate the opportunity you are giving today to win a free copy of your plan.
Thanks ever so much,
R

Hello Joel, I have been following your emails for a long time and have never taken the opportunity. I am now 45 and need to lose pounds and inches. I never felt like I NEEDED to lose it before as it always seemed to be to for someone elses approval. Like my mother who, still, tells me I need to lose weight. Now, however, I am the point where I know I NEED to do this for ME> not for anyone else. I work full time all week running my restaurant with my husband while raising 2 school aged children. I want and need the energy to keep up with them and I want my children to be proud of their mother. Sigh.

Thank you for the opportunity

Carol

Joel,

I’m 83 years old and my belly sticks out. I would like to wear my army uniform before I die. I need to lose 20 pounds to do it. I’m an insulin dependent diabetic, and have a tough time losing weight. What would you advise?

Raymond

I have always felt that fast days were a quality weight loss tool, but it seems everyone wants to stress the negative impact of fasting almost to the point it seems that it will wreck your metabolism. The cycle of cheat days and fast days and their timing is of intense interest to me.

I have also felt cheat days were necessary for most people, me included, for the psychological side if nothing else. As I currently understand things cheat days or cheat meals are integral to my success and I am looking forward to knowing and understanding what your program teaches. It rings true with me and it seems to be the one thing that will actually help me breat through plateaus to finally reach my weight and fitness goals. I need to lose the last 20 stubborn pounds.

I am looking forward to knowing more.

Joel,

I am 31 and fit and healthy. However I want to take it to that next level and I have struggled for years to find the way. I understand the principals of cycling days and, I work extremely hard running, biking and in the gym. However I just can’t seem to lose the last 5kg that will take me from a good body to a great body. I think your system is the answer and I think there are many people out there that I can show that your system works and it is worth the investment.
Thanks for the chance to win your system
Richard

Hi Joel,I am 66,have 3 children. My eldest daughter and son are overweight and I have gained that stubborn belly fat . My eldest son is a gym junkie/ body builder and trainer. I am concerned that he is over training and that this could be detrimental to his health. He is 38 and professes to know it all.I am a bowls coach and seek to help our generation in keeping fit and healthy without the use of prescription drugs , along with the misleading or non existent information re side effects.I believe that the body does heal itself and that natural supplements herbs etc are beneficial. I find your theories innovative and different and would like to know more;diet and exercise regimes. Many thanks.

In 2009 Doctors discovered an aggressive, malignant tumour in my knee (of all places?) and part of the treatment was to cut out the lower third of my thigh bone, and replace it with a large piece of metal. Consequently they had to put a metal plate on the tibia as well to form a knee. Cardio is hard as I cannot run or perform any activity that creates an impact. I cant walk fast enough (or long enough) to get my heart rate up. My knee only bends to 90 degrees and less if it is weight loaded (even my own body weight). I am told I have to have major surgery every x years (10,000km service :-), which is unappealing and I want to make x as big a number as possible. Given every kilo of additional weight can put an additional 4 kilos of pressure on knees it is likely that lower weight will help to make x big. I need all the help and tips I can get…

Joel, I have been reading your column for a few months. I have always been a very active person, even having run a marathon in the past. However, injuries have set in and I now have bad knees, a bad back, a neck injury, and problems with my feet. Needless to say, my athletic career is now over. I take care of both children after work, so even if I could exercise, I do not have time. So instead, I have watched stubborn fat build up on my midsection. I would love your extreme fat loss to help guide me and get rid of the stubborn fat. No magic, mind you, but even slow and steady wins the race. Thanks and keep up the good work.

hi joel,
i need this program to lose the weight and change my life forever. i have tried nearly everything out there and it hasnt worked for me. i would like to be able to run in the charity events that are on. i feel your program is what i have needed to do all this. thank you for a chance to get your program.

I am one of your classic “skinny fat guys”! A competitive distance runner for 15 years, it wasn’t until I was no longer able to run that I started lifting weights, and everytime I gain a little muscle, the fat sneaks in as well. Your program seems to address all the questions I have related to diet, since everything i have learned points to diet being the key component to stay lean. “You can’t out-exercise a bad diet”, as they say! Now 55, I want to get rid of the spare tire that I have accumulated over the years, and be able to gain muscle without the fat. I want to get lean, and stay lean, rather than the yo-yo pattern I have fallen into- please Help!

Hi Joel,
As a fitness instructor and personal trainer specializing in working with the obese and with seniors, I was very excited to read about your fat loss diet. A few of my clients suffer from depression as a result of lack of success with other programs (weight watchers, atkins diet, jenny craig, etc).
I would be honored to be one of the recipients of your program so in turn I can pass it forward.
Thanks you!!!

Hi Joel

In November of 2009 I turned 40 years old. At 5’3″ tall I was 184 pounds and totally miserable. I was embarrassed to be seen in public, and didn’t want to get involved with any activities with my kids. 9 days after my birthday I ordered your Cheat Your Way Thin program. I’ll be the first to tell you that it changed my life!

I’m now 132 pounds, work out 3-4 times a week, run, bike and will start hiking this month. I jump on the trampoline with my kids, play soccer and do all the things that I have always been too overwight and out of shape to do.

I have gone from about 33% body fat down to 22-23%, and although I feel fantastic, and can do everything I want physically, I would like to now take it one step further. I would like to increase my muscle mass, and become leaner so you can see muscle definition. I have plateaued at this current size/weight for the last 4 months.

I know from past experience that you are the one who can guide me to realize my dreams and goals.

Thanks for everything Joel, and keep doing what you’re doing!

Dionne

Hi Joel,
I’m a 48yr young aussie gal. I weighed 138lbs in 2003 when I gave up a 26yr smoking habit. Due to cupids arrow, my life’s now centred around the health and fitness industry. I have recently gained my Adv Dip in Early Childhood, along with my Cert IV in Fitness. I would dearly love to follow my heart & combine my 2 passions to deliver fitness programs that will have a positive impact on the prevention of childhood obesity & increase parental awareness of how much of how their children look and feel is determined by what the parent buys not the child. Perhaps it may be the child’s choice but ultimately the parent’s decision. I don’t look like a fit role model nor feel confident to set an example to children carrying 40 extra lbs. I have a bookcase bursting at the seams of proposed never fail weight loss systems & guess what, I weigh 191lbs now. I have read a lot of your material online over the last few months & have taken up all your offers of any free information that I can print out & read to my partner. I believe in you & through you, I now believe in me. Win or lose I WILL have a copy of your Xtreme Fat Loss 2.0 System in my hot little hands the moment it becomes available. It WILL be the vehicle that takes me to my goal. I thank you in advance.
Cheers Kerry

Hi Joel! I have many health problems, and I truly and sincerely believe-with all of my heart-that your program is the answer to my prayers! I have been using some of your simple tips & have seen results, but now I need more! Thank you for all you do & I hope I win! If not, blessings to the person who does! Traci rae

This would help me immensely. I was disabled in 2007 from a massive stroke. I have left hemiparesis with spascity. I need a program like this because I have struggled with a weight problem since then. I am 56 years old and have gone through menopause which is another strike against me. I may not be able to do the exercises as you have described but, with my Physical Therapist, I’m sure I can modify them to work for me. I know from the videos and fat loss tips that this program would be good for me.. Since I am no longer able to work as a nurse anymore, money is tight. I helped people all my life and am hoping that the good I’ve done will be returned to me. I would very much like a to win this program.

Hey Joel, 50 this year and tired of sitting on the fence. I’ve been persuing fitness knowledge for the past 5 years. I typically get up at 4:30 to get the workout in, which has had some impact. I’ve read everything and tried most but can not get the cut going on. Beginning to wonder if it is possible for my body type. I’m 5’10” 185 and need to to build and shred. I can not afford to let my 8 and 10 year old sons get ahead of me. I’m ready.

I really would love to try this! I am not looking for a quick fix and love to work out. Problem is that I had let myself slip while caring for my husband after 2 life threatening surgerys over the past year. When it came time to put me first again I ended up with another tendonitis flare up & physical therapy. I had to learn how not to have another flare up. Now I’m ready! I am in my 40’s, and have always been active, and looked pretty decent. But, I gotta tell you, the 40’s are kicking my butt with the “soft” look, and the fat is hanging on for dear life! I have battled hormonal problems for the past decade as well, and I am starting to feel completely defeated. How I wish I could put on a swimsuit and not feel like I want to cover up…I want my abs to finally show themselves, which I have NEVER been able to achieve, and my saddle bags to pack up! I just want to feel like I look great so I can finally get the results I have been chasing for what feels like forever!

I would love to win because:
1. I would like to learn and use it myself first and then be fully equipped to tell all my friends and coworkers about the program.
2. I love the thrill of a win!

Hey there,

First off, I’m not going to lie. I sick of the sight of myself. I’m 31, and I lead a semi-active lifestyle. By semi-active, I mean I work in the oil industry and its not always possible to see through diets and exercise schedules, even with the best of intentions.

For example, my last trip involved 42 days in west central Africa, in the middle of the jungle. No amenities, limited food choices (that you even could recognise) and no recreation. No chance of exercise either, as you had to wear full length flame proof coveralls at all times outside. So, I’m really in desperate need of something that I know will provide real results with the limited scope I have to work with. Something I know I can rely on when I return home from the trips where there is nothing I can use or rely on at location. Something that I know will provide me with the feeling of self-worth that by extension will provide me with a happier outlook and demeanour on life.

I know that you can provide that ‘something’ that I’m looking for.

Ian

Hi Joel, Your info intrigues me. I, like many others, have struggled with weight FOREVER. I have lost it and felt great and put it back on again. Stuggling with extra weight affects alot of every day things. I coach gymnastics on a volunteer basis but dont join in as much as i did due to my wieght gain. Being able to indulge one day and then able to control what i eat the next sounds the perfect balance. I am 47 so it will only get harder. With 5 children and grandchildren happening too i really want to enjoy them all by being physically and emotionally active with them all. If i could also share this positive life skill with my children rather than the damaging yo yo things i do, and they see, would be hugely beneficial to us all, including my husband who heres me growl about how fat i am especially the buttocks.

Joel, I need this system because it seems like no matter how hard i work in the gym i still cant break through my fat loss plateau. I try to eat as healthy as possible, but i’m still struggling. I know this system will get me to where I want to be.
PS- I know that there are almost 2000 entries in this contest, but I am hopeful that you will choose mine

Hi Joel,
After reading some of your articles, I realized that it was time to make some serious changes in my health. I feel this program will help me to finally stop using excuses for myself. I have hypothyroidism, which makes it extremely difficult for me to have a stable weight. By reading your approach, I have realized that it is time to make some permanent changes, and that it is about living a healthier life not just focusing in a diet. I was always used to sticking to a diet for about 3 weeks and then going back to my old life style, and so on. I believe this program will help me make some permanent life changes and to finally achieve my weight goal. I also am pretty clueless regarding my exercise. I am pretty active but still I have no idea when it comes what exercises i should do.
My goal is to lose about 30 pounds, but most importantly feeling good about myself and being fit. And I truly believe that your approach will be without a doubt effective. The reason being that for the first time I understand that it is about an entire change not just a 2 week change. Also all the information you have posted finally makes sense and made me reflect and motivate me to want to make a change!

Thank you for the opportunity!
Monica
