Almost every day I get an email from you and I think– that is the program for me, I know it….but my family is on a pretty tight budget (esp. since we planned a trip to LA at the end of June) I am on the verge (a few weeks…gasp!) of my big 4-0 b-day. Just turned 47 this month. In my younger days I was petite and struggled to keep my weight over 95 pounds. Since having children (4) I have struggled to get under 170 pounds. Because i am 16, never seen my abs, have an endomorphic body type, so fat loss is the hardest thing for me. I have one of the most stubborn metabolisms on the planet. Seriously. I can eat an entire large pizza and drink a 12-pack, and not gain an ounce. (Well, if I do that two days in a row I will.) Sounds great, right? Guess what? It’s even harder for me to *lose* weight. Once my body dials in to a weight/body fat percentage, it holds on for dear life. I’ve recently completed Roman’s Final Phase Fat Loss – all eight weeks – and while it actually succeeded in getting me below a 3-year plateau of 175 lb (5′ 10″), and did put a few of pounds of muscle on me in the process, I still have a gut, love handles, etc. Oh, and did I mention that I was using your Big Breakfast beta plan at the same time? I give both plans all the credit in the world, because they worked when nothing else would; my metabolism is ridiculous. But if I’m going to finally get rid of this fat, get down below 15%, I need something pretty drastic. “Xtreme Fat Loss” sounds like just the thing I need.
I quit smoking 3 years ago and gained about 25 lbs, and was already about 10 lbs over weight when I quit. I am petite 5″ 3 and it shows those 35 extra lbs show. I have already lost 15 lbs by changing my habits. It took me 8 months to lose the 15lbs, my motto is slow and steady will get me there, but now I have hit a major plateau and the scale isn’t budging…. I know that I need to lose the weight for health reasons, I have high cholesterol, but the main reason why this is important to me is because of my relationship with my mother, around New Years we had a huge fight and she called me “enormous”. First of all, thank you for helping all these people as well as me. I have went through some challenges getting back in shape after spine injury. XFLD worked to get the first 30 pounds off (it took 3 cycles since I could not do most of the exercises) but I have been at a standstill since Thanksgiving. I keep loosing and gaining the same 3-4 pounds. I continued to loose some inches and am looking a lot better than I have in years. But I cannot start loosing weight again. I have another 30 pounds to loose to get to my goal. This goal is not rail thin or even thin. I will still be a US size 12 to 14. But it will be better for my heart and knees if I take off the remaining weight.
I am not sure how different XFLD1 is from XLFD2 but feel that I am more ready to start living my thinner life than I was last year.
I’ve never had a problem with fat or weight until I turned 50. I’m desperate to get my shape back. I won’t wear shorts or a swimsuit anymore and I’m so depressed about the way I look. I just want to hide away. I thought this might be my answer to finally looking good again. I always loved doing things, but the way I look right now makes me not want to do anything. Today is my birthday! I turn 37, but I am not saying I deserve to get this program for free just because of this….but as with every birthday, I reflect on where I am in my life and what I have achieved and I am not so happy about that right now. My best achievements are my two sons, and I feel blessed to have them. But as for me, I feel like a failure in many ways. I won’t get into all the details, but I have had a very rough couple of years, full of health problems among other things. I have been battling depression through exercise and accupuncture, although I was prescribed antidepressants by 2 drs., I refuse. I have changed my diet too, but I see no big results. I need to see results to keep me going and motivated, because a lot of times I feel so close to just giving up. All of this has left me feeling lost, vulnerable and weak. I need to feel strong and healthy again.
And on the lighter side, I need those results FAST, since I am going to my best friend’s wedding at the beach in 3 weeks! I don’t want to miss out on the fun, especially with my kids because I am mortified of looking “pregnant” in my bathing suit ;) So I think I am a good candidate because I am already working out, eating a clean diet (most of the time, I do cheat) and I desperately need results fast to keep me from giving up.

I don’t know how to create that calorie deficit, how to synergise my diet and my exercise, I don’t know what a lactic acid workout is, but I do know that with all the research and passion that you have put into this program, I can trust you to deliver. So many programs promise the moon yet deliver metabolic mayhem; I had lost faith. Your free articles (thank you!) have made sense and have given me hope. I have lost some weight, but although slimmER (not slim) I am not toned and I have now reached a plateau. I have had a kidney transplant and I was told that I would put on weight as I am on steroids; I will not accept that this is inevitable. My life is on hold as I am ashamed of how I look, life is too short to be on pause, having a life threatening disease re-affirms this and yet I am still too embarrassed to follow my dreams. 13 years+11 months ago today, I was diagnosed with stage 3 thyroid cancer. I was told I’d be lucky to live 2 more years. I was scared – and angry. I had exercised and eaten well my entire life, and I got cancer. I started to eat whatever I wanted. I figured I didn’t care how I’d look in my coffin – bring on the champagne and donuts! Yes, that was a favorite “dinner” of mine. Not good. About 2 years ago, I had enough of that. I started seriously training again and eating well. I’ve lost 35 pounds, but still have about 10-15 to go. I’ve lost 10 of those and gained them back over the past year. As John said in video #5, “I’m lost in the weight-loss woods”. I’ve been looking for a “smart fix”. I have a pretty good idea of what I should be doing – but haven’t a clue about how to put it all together in the smartest way. I am a 29 yr. old mother of two who has with lots and I mean lots of hard work have lost 25 lbs. I am down to 140 from 165. I thought I was doing pretty good, but now I have alot of loose skin and I recently went to a health fair and they had one of those machines that give you your BMI, I still need to drop about another 7-10 lbs. and worst of all I am at 35% body fat. Talk about dropping the bomb! Well this system would not be for me but a couple of people that I love (Uncle, Aunt, and Mom); they want and need to lose weight and get healthier and more fit. they are in their 40- 50’s they want to get back in shape and actually feel good, have energy to do stuff like backpacking and hiking!
