I am a nearly 50 year old female with a compressed nerve in the neck that has partly numbed my right hand. My doc has said if I loss weight it will help, easier said than done. I have tried all sorts of diets . I need your help

I have never been skinny just big boned ( haha)Since having my three kids, now 16 19 and 21, I have put on more weight as I have always put my children first in what they want to do.

I want to do this for me. I have done everything for them now it is my time. I also feel my weight stops people hiring me for jobs.

I love to Zumba and ride my push bike but have stopped due to comments. A friend of mine even checked the tyres of his farm bike when I hopped on for a ride to see have flat I have made them.He didn’t see the tears rolling down my cheeks as I walked away.

I would love to loose weight on your programme . I want to shine.

Having been on the diet roller coaster in this theme park for so long……….I would love to find one that really worked……………….I mean really worked. (So many say they do and you do too) So put your diet where my mouth is………if it works as well as you say it will…………I will eat my words.

I’ve been working out for almost 3 years now and I’ve lost 30-35 lbs and I’m in the best shape I’ve been in since I was 20. The problem I have is that I can’t lose the last 5 or 6 lbs of fat. About 2 months ago I purchased “Roman’s” exercise plan and followed it to a T for 6 weeks. I also incorporated a calorie reduced diet, a cheat day and a fast day (btw, none of this info came with John’s program). My goal was to lose 4% body fat or about 6 lbs. I lost the 6 lbs but 4 of it was lean muscle mass. I believe the reason I failed to reach my goal was that, while I was careful with my calorie intake, I didn’t eat strategically. John promised a money back guarantee that his system would work. I haven’t asked John for my money back but thought that you might like the opportunity to show people that it’s not just the exercise program but the strategic eating plan the is the real key to success in the battle to shed the last bit of fat.

The stress from the past couple of years, while finishing my masters and entering a terrible job market, has taken a visible toll. My realization of what I really looked like, and how others saw me, was painful–I was horrified at what I had become: fifty pounds overweight. My transformation from skinny child to borderline obese adult comes as a shock and is intertwined with the pain, frustration, and shame that goes with it . . . “Fail to plan and plan to fail.” Well, Joel, I’m looking at your plan! Step six is accomplished–I know I can do this. I want to do this. I am ready to do this. I must change my lifestyle. I need to change it, otherwise I’m on track to get Type II diabetes. Step five, increasing my muscle mass, will increase my energy/metabolic rate. Step four, HIT cardio, will complement my gain in muscle with loss of fat. Step three, eating protein throughout the day while restricting carbohydrates in the evening will preserve my muscle and prevent a gain in fat. Step two will complement step three, in that a simple change in diet will prevent a gain in adipose tissue. Restricting what I can eat with carbs? No problem! I can do that. Step one means not starving myself, so I won’t have to deal with cravings of bread and butter, or pasta with cream sauce. It’s time for a change, Joel, now I just need the blueprints.

Hi. I am 22 years old and have always wanted a fit, toned, sexy body. My family tells me I don’t need to worry about it I look fine. I have been trying to get the body that I want for a couple of years now. But, nothing seems to work. I have just a little bit of fat to lose and I can’t seem to lose it! Hi there. I would like to use a diet and exercise program that really works. I am 44 young boy :-) and everything is OK with me except some additional fat around my belly (at least I think so). So, why not to try your program to get rid of it? And to win it would be too nice! But thank you anyway for such opportunity.

I have spent the past 18 years raising my two boys. I don’t regret a single minute of my time spent or sacrifices that I have made for them. However, during that time, I always put my needs behind theirs. They are almost grown “men” now, and I need to regain my life. Like many women, I have taken care of myself only to the extent needed to get by. Now that I will have the time and the energy to devote to taking care of me, I am looking for a program like this that will allow me to be able to see results quickly, so I won’t get discouraged. Basically, I’m still healthy, though obese. I am working on losing, and have so far lost 21 pounds in about 2 or 2 1/2 months. I am trying to make sure I stay healthy, for myself and my 2 children. Also, my husband needs a definitive program to follow, because he has a lot of weight to lose also. This program would definitely be a huge asset in my goal, and his. He’s on bp meds and we both have sleep apnea, pretty sure from being obese. Definitely need this!

At 52 years old and about 60 pounds overweight I need to get lean and fit to hopefully prolong my life. My Dad at 85 is in better shape than me right now and I’d like to beat him arm wrestling. So I’ve got the genes now I just want to fit my jeans… All kidding aside I need to do something and in a hurry and this looks like my best last shot at it.

I think I’m a perfect candidate – I have been overweight my whole life – depressed etc you name it…. I found bodybuilding a year ago and I’m determined to get competition ready for next year. I’ve tried some pretty serious fat loss diets – but they’re not the ones that a sane person can stick to for too long – so of course the fat comes back.
I need a fat loss regime I can truly stick to all the time – that will go along with my tough training regime and give me the results i desperatly want and need.
i hate the way i look…. so it’s time to try something different that will help me change it

First let me say, on behalf of all of us who want to ‘change our lives’ either substantially or minimally, thank you for being our guide back to the enlightened path of health and fitness! You are a source of constant encouragement and inspiration.
Sadly, my story is very similar to SO many others. I was athletic when I was younger, from competitive swimming to jogging five miles a day. However, I then spent many years in a bad marriage swallowing my anger (along with many unhealthy food choices, unfortunately!) These days I generally eat very healthy and usually hit the treadmill or elliptical or do some weight lifting but something is obviously not working for me. I manage to lose 15 pounds but then the process comes to a dead stop. I have just entered my 50’s and need to get rid of about fifty pounds so I am not “struggling with those last few pounds” but I AM struggling with plateau issues. I am working with what I believe is a damaged metabolism – most likely as a result of dieting (incorrectly) since the age of 12. Please give me the opportunity to experience the amazing results I know XFLD will offer because the concept seems radical but it also logical and I know that will be the perfect fit for me. I would love to be able to be proud of my body again after so many years.

Since I can remember I have always been fat, my mother told me a was a huge boy when I was born, and ever since I have done every single diet on the planet, but the problem is, that loosing weight has taken ages, and although I excercise I have never been able to loose that stubborn fat on my stomack, I end up very dissapointed and start eating again, and so the vicious cycle continues, I want a fast way to loose all those pounds, I want to be excited that I am loosing weight fast, to finally meet my goals.

I’m a 42 year old Mom of three girls. I do what I can to be role models for them. I exercise and try to eat healthy, but I’m still seeing a soft and flabby middle that needs some work. “Aging is not for sissies!” July will feature my 59th birthday and hopefully less of my hormonally induced jelly belly. I’m not special and have no poignant story to share. Just an ordinary woman who has lost 20 pounds since January and is trying to lose 15 more to get to a healthy BMI for the first time in a very long while. Some health challenges get in the way but compared to so many, I am blessed with a husband that loves me, two wonderful adult children and a job, that while sometimes daunting, still interests me after +30 years. But with every pound lost, it gets harder. Motivation wavers. Tears threaten. Any help deeply appreciated!

A few months ago I started getting sick and wound up in bed for two straight months. I put on about ten pounds, lost muscle mass, and was generally miserable. I’m now back to being healthy and I want to make darn sure I never again have to sit by a window watching life go by. I want to get myself strong, functional, and healthy, and be able to play with my dog the way he very much deserves! (Okay, so I’d also like – for once – to not wear a shirt over my bathing suit).

I am 50 fat and unfit not a great advert for your product I weigh 315lbs and am only 5ft 4” I feel this is my last opportunity and what an awesome one . I realise I am probably not what you are looking for as I have failed so often before and not controlled my weight at all but reading your bulletins for the last 5 days has given me renewed hope, each day I eagerly anticipated the next one and was never let down. I’m 52 years old and have given myself a challenge to look after my body and get it into the best shape of my life and that’s a bit of a challenge given that I used to play football, squash, tennis etc up to mid 20’s. I’m about 6 ft and had got up to 100kgs, after a concerted effort – running, exercycle, some rowing and a few wight sessions, over the last 6 months I have managed to get down to about 92kgs but have plateaued and can’t seem to loose the build up around my middle and chest. This would provide the opportunity for me to get to the next level and complete my challenge – something I am really passionate about along with helping othere achieve their own goals through my coaching practice.

I sit here almost in tears to tell you that I am so very frustrated with trying AND repeatedly failing to lose weight. I am really and truly depressed at this point which in turn is a problem because that leads to senseless eating to attempt to feel better. I’m here eating caramel popcorn as we speak.
Have you ever looked in the mirror and not liked what you saw? I know that feeling all too well.
I am a 35 year old female, married with no children (as yet) and weigh in at 190lbs. I have tried several exercise regimens over the years but none have worked permanently. During this time I have come to realise that I become bored quickly and therefore lose interest.
From the information I have read, your programme is only 25 days duration with cycling every 5 days. This I believe would be perfect in holding my attention thereby keeping me motivated.
