I need this program. I want this program. I was fit before I married my husband, and while we were dating he would work out with me, and he was in the best shape of his life according to his family. We have been married two years as of April, and for both of us we have gained approximately 30 lbs a piece. I know that for health reasons we need to get this weight off, and it does not hurt your ego to be in fantastic shape. I am committed to doing the program and I am confident that he will do it with me. Thanks for considering us – how great to get back on the right track with such a fantastic program!

I am a 31 yr old woman, (I used to be near 220lbs, a 42 inch waist in 2006. I started out learning about health/fitness/nutrition through Body For Life. I have learned that it is a lifestyle, a marathon, not a sprint. I have learned a lot over the last couple years.

I am a chaplain in the military (currently Guard and will be going active duty) and always am looking for excellent programs to help out our troops to condition them in top shape so they can serve with excellence all that they do, starting with their physical condition! I believe your program will do just that.

Some basic facts: I am 72 years old; divorced; father of 2 sons; and in the most incredible love relationship of my life; my fiancée is 48; I look younger, feel younger, and act younger than my years, some say 20 years younger. I was an active athlete until about 20 years ago when my boys were born. Since then I have gained 40 pounds, mostly on my awful-looking pot belly. I am a Certified Squash Professional and taught as a Pro for 20 years; I also played competitively and was ranked in North America in the top 5 in my age group. Now I swim 8,000 yards/week and bike 10-20 miles/day on the days I don’t swim. My weight has plateaued at 170#. I am a good 35-40# overweight and would give anything to lose the excess fat on my belly. I hate the look! Help! My fiancée is very accepting, so the drive comes from me: weight loss is something I have struggled with for the last 10 years. Help!

I’ll be 40 in a few months, and after 15 years together and a wonderful 7-year-old child, I have been traded in for a 21-year-old that is about half my size and less than half his age. I want to get my life back together for my daughter and me. At 5’3″ and 190 lbs, I’d like to lose at least 60 lbs, which will go a long way in helping me rebuild my self-esteem and help me regain the energy and vitality to be an active, single mother. I am a 55 year old male, and due to becoming disabled 10 years ago, and the accompanying depression/pity party I fell into, I allowed myself to deteriorate into a full-fledged couch potatoe, and in the process gained 50 lbs of fat, which has only increased my pain level. Disgusted with myself, over the last year or so I’ve tried desperately to get back into shape and lose that lard! I’ve managed to lose, but gain right back, the same 10-15 lbs over and over again. HI, I am a single parent 29 years old, 14 stone and maybe a little more, having tried most other “revolutionary diets” I did loose weight, I lost 4 stone ( from 15 and stone 7 ) staying consistent to the very low carb diet i used and then suffered from a bad bout of depression due to problems I was going through in my personal life.

I am back at work and on the road to recovery but as I work nightshift at the weekends every week I struggle to commit to the diet I once used ( matabolic- ketogenic style diet ).

with the new motivation from following what looks like the ideal diet for me, combined with your additional items and training techniques ( consistency being the main key ), I am sure this could be the kick in the proverbial backside I need.
this will help me get my confidence back fully and change my life for the better, for both me and my children, who have had to endure perhaps the worse of my afore mentioned depression.

I would like to try get back to my own self and due to my life style restrictions with regards to work I feel that the cheat days would be right up my street as I could work them accommodating my first night at work in the call centre (which is the one that gets me as I don’t sleep the first day).

I am 59 and obese. I want to lose weight and gain muscle to enjoy the rest of my years. I believe I can do it with your plan. I working out at the gym and pool And seeing a nutrtionist. People say they think I’m fat. They say they think I’m a fat little man. They think I’m way to fat for my age….Fatty….Jellybelly…You got jelly in your belly you little fat f*#$….you got tits like a 40 year old woman…fatboy… you like that sh%&$y titty jelly belly…oh yeah he’s a big boy get that fatty some mudflaps for his a%$ big old jiggly fatty but. That was just last Wednesday (not a good day for me) . I can’t lose the weight on my own I really need this program! FYI if it works the before and after pictures will be remarkable!

I need your information to help me get healthy again. I am now over 50 at 230lbs and have gout attacks, oh so painful. A few rears ago I had lost 70 lbs in 5 months on a low carb low fat diet but of course gained it all back. I want this more for my wife as she had lost 40 lbs on that same diet down to 200lbs but now is way up to over 250 which does not help her diabetes. I know that if we can lose the weight we can help rid ourselves of these dreadful diseases.

Joel, I’m 37, a father of 3, ages 9, 7, and 5. Needless to say, we are busy. I don’t have several hours each day to work-out. I need something that hits hard and quick. I was a 3 sport athlete in highschool(football, basketball, baseball) and I ate anything & everything I wanted without gaining a pound. Then came college. All the late nights studying and eating pizza turned the 20lbs of muscle I had gained into 40 lbs of fat. Over the last 15 years I have lost the extra weight through exercise and eating right only to hit a plateau or get out of the work-out habit and gained most, if not all of it back. I have read a great deal of material from Tom Venuto, Craig Ballantine, Tony Horton, and you of course, so I feel I have the head knowledge to be able to get the body I want, just haven’t had the long-term commitment that is needed to maintain it. I would love to be able to show my kids and my wife that I could do it, but mainly would like to show myself. Doesn’t hurt that I have my 20 year class reunion coming up this fall either, so the timing of your program is perfect.

I am a perosnal trainer and have recently opened a fitness facility with my family. Our facility is slated to be THE fitness hub for our community. We offer many services, but one area I would like to focus on for our community is healthy BMI and how to mentor and educate our young people on how to achieve and maintain healthy weight and BMI. I am a mum of 5 the youngest is 10 months now and I have lost weight but I have a stone and a half to go and really need a new way to shed this fat…I think this program would be perfect for me to do this. Nothing else is working…I want the healthy way to lose weight..

Like Roman, I grew up a fat kid (75lbs over at most), and started taking real action at age 17. By age 21 finally got it “nailed down”(from fat to skinny-fat) after losing and gaining all my weight 3 times! Now 31, I have maintained a decent level of fitness for 10 years. Yet never have been able to really dial in and chisel off the last 10lbs. This year I have been Xtremely determined and committed to get it done. I want a BFP below 6% to see if it is even possible to legitly uncover my abs (sometimes that little devil in my head says its not possible, ya know?). I transitioned this week from Paleo to CYWT and FPFL! Deadly combo! It broke my plateau from just over 12% BF to my current 10%! Except I was slightly bummed, yet excited at the same time, to find that you guys already have a super improvement to these awesome programs in XFLD :)

I’m a 48-year-old former athlete, who had hip surgery 6 months ago, and just returned to the gym this week.

In the two years of becoming increasingly crippled before the surgery, I gained a lot of fat, and lost an awful lot of muscle. This surgery was supposed to give me a proverbial new lease on life, and in the long run, I hope it will…but the first thing that happened was I lost even more muscle while convalescing, so of course I’ve gained even more fat, since.

Now I just want my life back, and losing all this fat, and rebuilding my strength and muscle mass are a huge part of that. I know your program is the most effective choice for my situation! Thanks for considering me.

I am 44 and have been fairly successful with weight loss until recently. I had my 3rd child at the age of 40 and just can’t believe how much harder I have to work out and eat less to lose weight. I still have not lost the 7 pounds I put on after my last baby! I could stand to lose another 15-20 pounds. I have tried calorie counting (1400 – 1600 per day) along with a weight lifting “Body Pump” class twice a week and I walk at least 3 miles, fast pace, 3-4 times a week or use elliptical trainer 30-45 min. I am frustrated with the extra fat around my middle and thighs. I have a degree in food science, so your fat loss plan sounds like a winner to me. I am intrigued by your report on leptin and it’s impact on fat burning. I am fully aware that starvation diets don’t work. I have had to work to keep my weight in balance since being a teenager. I recognize that weight loss is a lifestyle change, not a quick fix. I am ready to try a sensible and research based plan that involves both healthy food and exercise to achieve results!

I need to lose weight..I’ve been out of work for almost 3 years and I gained weight. This sounds like something that will work for me. I wanted to lose weight before when I was working, but now I know that I should just not for my health, but to feel good about how I look. I would like to take this for a test run and see if it will work for me..You have to prove your product, and I’m one that will help you prove it, because I need to lose more than I did before and want something that is easy to do. I want to look like my old self about 25 years ago. I want to get back to feeling better about myself without thinking about it. Get and be active again.

I am 65 years old and I had a nervous breakdown about 10 years ago. They put me on medication that has slowed down my metabolism and my weight has gone up to 200 lbs. I am so ashamed of my body and appearance now. I am going to the gym several times a week, and have changed a lot of my diet and plate sizes. :-)

I am 21 years old and stuck at 280 lbs. I’ve been trying to diet and exercise but can’t seem to schedule everything properly so I can get everything done I need to. I’m fairly new to the site and updates and still trying to get the grasp of things. With the program I plan to lose 80 lbs of fat and build up a bit of muscle so I have a body to be proud of. :)
