I’ve tried diets here and there, certain changes of lifestyle, and even frequented the gym and regular classes. Is anyone really ever totally happy with themselves though? I think not as there is always room for improvement, but I think having information for someone who clearly knows what they are talking about just means that I would get much better results in a much shorter time scale!

Don’t know where to start… I’m heading for 50 and feel like I have been dieting all my adult life. I’ve tried most of the national weight loss clubs here in the UK, with the usual yo-yo outcomes. Thought, I’d finally cracked it a couple of years back when I took the exercise seriously and joined a local gym. Strength and fitness have improved, but the fat is still there. So disheartening! I am at the point where I don’t know what else to try
I have been inspired by your newsletters over recent months and in particular the information in the lead up to next week’s launch. I can already see some of the mistakes I’ve made. I think this program is the lifestyle answer I’ve been waiting for. I‘m committed to putting in the effort, but need the right advice. I think I deserve at least a couple of decades of my life which are not dominated by my weight or fad diets. It’s time for a change and I know you can help make that happen.
We are having a special one off holiday in Caribbean in August. 25lb in 25 days! If I could achieve something near this, I’d be close to my goal weight (a 20 year old goal!). This would mean the difference between being self conscious and keeping my self covered up and having the body and confidence to throw off the tee shirts and get a Caribbean tan.
I am 40+ and had my first child in Feb 2010. I exercised all the way through the pregancy but afterwards I couldn’t exercise for six weeks because of I had a c-section. I could never find or make the time again for exercise.
I am in need of a workout plan & healthly-eating plan and guidance to bring balance back into my life.

am turning 50 4. july and it wood be cool if I could drop some dress size. I have always been looked at as fat, owe my thin friends. So i started dieting, with the result that i gained a lot of weight. I live in Norway and i have lots of friends how is struggling. So if i wind i hope that i can inspirer them to tray to.

I am ready for a complete change. I have tried so many things to get me going and nothing seems to work. I think I am missing something and with this program I believe I have benefit from it. I eat healthy and am at the gym 3-4 times a week. I combined cardio, boot camp and kettle bells classes but nothing is helping me. Have been doing this for 2 years now and it’s getting very fustrating. I need to change things up but don’t know were to start. Thanks and my fingers are crossed :)
I’ve actually sold my own reports on how to lose weight. It’s outside-the-box compared to the simplistic “burn more calories than you consume” mantra … but I’ve sure never encouraged orchestrated “cheating” on a regular basis. Honestly, I’m very skeptical about this program. I’m not sure I agree with its principles of “manipulating hormone stimulation”. But I’m willing to follow it to a “T” and see what happens.
I have always been active (running, biking, diving, swimming, hiking, working out at the gym) and enjoy it. A couple of years ago, my usual exercise routines weren’t working any more. So, I tried the Fat Burning Furnace about a year and a half ago and also started eating some of the foods recommended. I have been using Prograde Workout and Metabolism products as well. I do feel more “in shape” but I can’t seem to lose the weight. My husband is health-conscious but has always had low body fat no matter what he does. He “teases” me about my belly and butt fat. I want to take my fat loss to the next level so I can be proud of my body, be as healthy as I can and set a good example for my daughter. I want her to grow up being healthy and strong, and I feel your program will help us put together the nutrition and exercise needed to acheive those goals. Thanks for doing this. I’m sure whoever wins will truly benefit from your generosity.
I am actually writing this for my daughter and me both. She is in high school and comes home at least once per week crying or depressed about the cruel comments people make about her weight. I have tried to get her involved in more sports, but she is too embarrassed because of her weight. I have tried to teach her healthy eating habits, but when she doesn’t see results right away she gives up. She isn’t obese, but the teasing has made her feel like she is. I think your plan would be perfect because she will see results in a month and then become more motivated to stick to a healthy diet and exercise plan.
As for me, well I just turned the big…let’s just say I am over 40 by more than a couple! Injury and stress has packed on the pounds. I need a kick in the butt to get me going again! Getting in shape isn’t as easy as when I was younger. I miss being fit and feeling energetic. I want to be an inspiration to my daughter and to my friends who struggle as well. I want to say: I did it and you can to- here’s how!!
I am now at the stage where the easy fat loss is over. Now, every time I am losing more fat, some muscle is going too and I do not like this.
This is why I think your program sounds perfect for me. It will help me shed the last remaining 10-15 Lbs of excess fat I am carrying. If it can help me bulk up in the same time, it will be perfect!
I have hit a wall in my weightloss. In fact, the scale has been creeping up ever so slightly, but pretty consistently. I love to work out and exercise but that’s not enough for me anymore. Since getting married 4 years ago I have put on about 20 pounds and I have got to get it off and need something different than what I have always done! Please help me! Let’s just say the US made me fat. I’ve always maintained a healthy weight without any effort, and I was really happy with it. One year in the US had me gain 13 kilos !!! Since september I’ve been working out my ass off at the gym, dieting year round, skipping invitations to party, only to loose … 5 kilos.
I’m going to Hawaii in june, my parents will be visiting me from France in august, and I really need to get back in shape before all that.
Also I’m turning 25 next week, and I think i definitely need to make everything i can to feel better about myself….

I have tried so many diets in my life, only to have failed to reach my weight loss goal, they claim if you do this you will lose weight, only to find out time after time, fad diets do not work. I’m ready to make a change in my life, a serious turning point. I’m ready to take on this challenge of the XFLD. I have lost 110 pounds, but put some back on after those diets. I’m 45 and almost 100 pounds overweight, thats not healthy. I’m ready to put the XFLD to the Test. Thanks Joel for all the good advice along the way.

This is so exciting to have an opportunity to actually win this information! Listening to and reading about leptin, timing, certain foods, listening to my body, and working out to where I’m sucking air has helped me lose 10 pounds and I’ve toned up a lot. At the ripe age of 50 (almost 52 now) I started working out and am never going to stop now. I’ve always considered myself a healthy eater and looked okay for being so overweight. However, I have learned tons through your site and several of your friends’ sites. I consider myself a “clean” eater now. I’m excited about all of the info I have gathered and learned so much about ‘how’ to workout for results. I’m at a standstill however. I have lost some fat and gained muscle, but I’m not LOSING ANYMORE. I’m toning up well and if I could get rid of this fat the muscles would show! I’m 37 and my husband is 39. We have 5 natural born children and I can’t get those last 10 pounds off! Our children are 12, 11, 10, 3, and 2. I am a runner and have completed two marathons and multiple half-marathons. I’ve trained and ran 2 halves since May of 2010, and my body just isn’t changing. That stubborn belly fat is sticking with me. We have couple friends that are partnering with their spouses to exercise more, eat healthier, and hopefully lose some excess weight along the way. Joel: I am a 56 yr old obese woman who has struggled with my weight since my early twentys, I have tried many diet programs but never seem to succeed at them. I am alwas hopeful that something will come along that I can follow and incroporate into my life. While reviewing your program I feel that this just might be the one that will enable me to succeed at losing and keeping off the weight. My second reason is my son who is as heavy and then some as me, I worry about his health and am so afraid that he may die from this problem. My hope is this, that he will see that I can be successful at your program and will want to follow it with me. I want a comeback- me, only BETTER! I KNOW it is possible. Over the past five years I have come from depressed single mom, to happily married and having a third child in my mid thirties. Then major emergency surgery. Now it seems like the weight will not come off! I’m stuck! Things that used to work great, no longer do! All that my doc could offer me was that ‘metabolism just slows down around 35’. I am NOT SETTLING for that! I am SO ENCOURAGED by your information on metabolism. It gives me hope. i am a mother of 4 and i struggle every day wih my weight. i have tried numerous diets and so far none have been any lasting results for me. i find that i tend to gain the weight back double. i work 50 to 60 hours a week and i seem to stay so tired and alot of that i feel is due to my weight. i just want to feel and look good again and i feel like your program can help me do that. Always the same with me. I have tried plan after plan. Almost everyone requires a 90 day commitment. Your plan, P90x plus many others all end the same. I can do 30 days of total commitment and then its back to the old stuff creepin in to the regiment. 30 days on 60 days off. I am still holding on to an extra 30 lb. and really want it off for the summer. If you have a plan to drop that much in 30 days, I am the one to do it!!!

I’m a 25 year old male, and I’ve been lifting for about three months now. I have added some size, and I have decent definition. However, I am at 14% body fat currently, and my goal is to get to the single digits by July 1st. I’ve been following your blog posts and emails with great interest. As an academic, I can respect the work you’ve done by analyzing a multitude of papers to craft the perfect program. Your program claims that a client can lose 25 pounds in 25 days. Although I don’t believe I have that much to lose, I know it would be a critical tool towards my weight lose goal. I was convinced you could help me when Vince Del Monte cited your program as helping him reach his goals. I’m ready to put in extreme effort for my goals.
