I’m writing this in regards to my wife. We both have weight to lose, but over the years, I’ve had success whereas she is beginning to think nothing will work for her—and my success only makes her feel worse.
She has a difficult time sticking with long-term programs. Weight Watchers and the like take too long. She loses her motivation being so strict week after week with little to show for it. Cheat days will be a huge mental boost for her.
We are going on vacation with her family in July. My wife’s family is very fit: her father runs a karate dojo, her mother is a health-nut (plain yogurt with wheat germ was dessert when my wife was growing up!). One sister is a professional ballet dancer, another used to do ballet as well. Her brother was a cheerleader college and does gymnastics. It’s embarrassing for both of us to be on the beach with them, but worse for my wife. Through high school and college she had eating issues stemming from her parents’ insistence on fitness and dieting; they are still judgmental about her and her siblings’ appearances.
Everything about your program seems perfect. It’s short; she can handle super strict 25 days. It’s extreme, so progress will be quick and she’ll stay motivated. The timing is great; we can do a full cycle before going on this family vacation. Losing the weight would be a huge confidence boost for her.

At 68 I’m still at 220 and need to lose 40 lbs to qualify to enter the 50 miles in 20 hours that the youth group in our church is having. I’ve tried everything. Walked 16 miles yesterday, and 12 the previous 5 days. Help!!!
I am a physician and need a plan to place my patients on for quick results. I am constantly asked for “diet pills”, which I refuse to write. I think that this will benefit me (who needs to lose some more weight) as well as many others with a referral base for obese patients. I live in Mississippi and it ranks number one on the states for obesity.
I am a skeptic I find it hard to believe that your system will work any better than the 100’s of things I have tried for the last 15 years. Although I hope your system does work, I doubt that it will have the ability to change my “BEFORE” picture. I play racquetball competitively and now that my kids have grown I want to start the tournament tour again but I have 30 lbs. to lose before I can be serious about it. I really enjoyed your short videos with Roman and hope to see more of them, keep up the good work on your web sites.
After giving birth to 12 children (yes!) and 30 yrs of marriage this Sunday, May 22, I would love to lose the last 20 lbs. of what I’ve not been able to lose. I am 50 yrs. old, stuggled with gaining/losing all of my life. With each pregnancy I gained 50 lbs. but through nearly starving myself, lost most of it each time. I would so love to lose this and quit struggling feeling like I am always dieting or feeling guilty for eating something other than “diet food”. It would be a great anniversary gift, a 50 yr. old mom gift, and upcoming first grandmother gift! I’ve tried for 20 years to loose weight and just succeeded to getting to 60 lbs overweight. On top of that, I’m hypoglycemic, in my mid 40’s and my little boy will be 4 this summer. I need the energy to chase this little guy. I don’t want him to think his dad is “the fat one with the graying hair” that can only sit. The hair I can cope with. My wife says it’s “distinguished”. The fat, well, like I said, I want to loose the weight and get the energy to chase my little boy.

I am a 41 year old male living in NJ that “goes down the shore” fairly often through the summer. I want this year to be the year that when I step on the beach with the family that everyone takes notice. By following the XFLD program that you have designed for getting fit quickly, I can achieve my goal before the 4th of July weekend! I like structure in my life and enjoy a good challenge. I need this diet because I am READY to do BIG things with my body! I have recently started the toughest workout program Ive ever done, Its hard but Im loving it and Im pushing myself like never before with reps and weight! I believe this program is the exact program I need to finally get me over the top as far as my physique and fitness goals. I’m 38 years old and turning 39 in July. I have always struggled with my weight and therefore since I was a child have had to practice a lot of discipline. I am a father of 3 amazing children. Unfortunately, due to stress and personal events, I had a heart attack at the ripe young age of 34. To see how scared my children were during that time has had a major impact on me as a father. I have to live with what I put them through and the best way for me to do so would be to take better care of myself. To date, nothing the hospital or the so called “nutritionists” or “dieticians” have provided has been able to help. I have spent countless hours studying and trying diets they have provided, hours on a treadmill or playing outside with my kids, and a weekly routine of lifting weights. None of this seems to be helping as much as it should and I am convinced it’s due to my diet. All I want is to be a healthier version of me so I can stick around this world a lot longer and enjoy being a dad. I’ve struggled with weight over the years. The past two years I have been going to the gym 3-4 times a week. Started doing Boot Camp classes and kettle bell as well. I also do cardio during the week. I eat healthy and I am commited to my work outs every day/week. I don’t seem to see the scale moving at all. I think I am missing something in achieving my goal and keeping the weight off. i was listening to the free download and find that excited about this program ..
I’m a 40 + woman who lost weight with Isabel program but i’m missing the toning part of it … i need to loose 30 pounds and tone .. i had four kids and have type 11 diebetes both now off medication ..and i’m still following the eating habits , i do cheat once and while but feel really bad afterwards . but i need a exercise program and learn more how to propably cheat … on a schedule .. i not sure if this program show you when to excersise .. but i would like to learn when is the best time to exercise during the day .. a 25 day plan ..it’s motivating to think at 25 days at a time .. it;s not long ..short term goal .. thanks looking forward to hear from you ..

Today is my 40th birthday. As I look in the mirror, I don’t see the dedicated athlete I was in my teens and 20’s. What I do see is the man who let himself go in his 30’s and now has some major weight to loose, strength to gain and endurance to improve. I work in health care, so I see what happens when people let themselves go. I want to be around to watch my three kids grow, and I want to be physically active with them through the process. I think this program will DEFINITEly make a significant difference in my life!
I am pleased to report that I have lost 55 pounds following the program developed by Mike Geary and Isabel De Los Rios. At the age of 75 I feel much better and my friends say I look better too. However, I still have some fat around my middle that I need to get rid of. I really want to attack this last hurdle in my program to get healthier. I have always been seen as the biggest girl in my family. (5 girls!!) Once I got into highschool (over 18 years ago) I was also the biggest girl out of all my friends. This has always followed me, & I have always struggeled to accept that Im stuck with this title, but the worst, is that I have always been the one to eat clean and workout till I puke just to maintain my weight.
