I am turning 52 in August. I have been working out regularly for the last 8-10 months. I have already changed my eating habits, but I would love to use your system to get rid of that last little bit left.
Different from a lot of the posts above, i “only” need to lose about 20 pounds. I have bounced up and down for years now – and I cannot get that last “few” pounds to go away. I have lost 20 pounds but still have that 20 to go. i have tried diets, exercise, starving, natural herbs and teas, and finally, most recently – a prescription medication and NOTHING is getting me past this last 20! My doctor told me that I just need to get used to being “big boned”, that it is a part of life once you hit 50. And, even when i tried the prescription medication for 3 months, i did eat less, but i only lost 4 pounds in 3 months!!! i quit taking the drug, because if it isnt helping, i dont want to take it. I am starting to believe the doc that I just “need to get used to it!”
Help!
I’m not sure if this will be the program for me. IA few years ago I wanted to loose 10 pounds or so. But within the last year with metabolism slowing to a crawl I’ve managed to put on an additional 10 pounds! I have tried changing the way I eat based on the many programs I have read about. I have researched and tried several vegetarian friendly programs such as Dr. Furhman’s, the Raw diet by Alissa Cohen, and others but the problem is the food. I’m a picky eater and these meals are not only expensive but they are time consuming and they NEVER taste the way their names imply. So I end up out of convenience and craving for “normal” tasting food veering back to less healthy alternatives. I actually like to exercise so I do that most every day but because I’m not following through with the right foods I haven’t seen any improvement. If anything it feels as though I’m gaining weight! I know I can’t loose this additional poundage unless I find a system that works for me and I’m hoping yours does. Through reading your email posts and blogs and other research I’ve done on foods and exercise it seems that you’ve developed a refined system from all of the others that have been used and perfected it. I think this program can help me shed this excess weight I’ve been struggling to burn off.
Thank you,
-Shayna
Joel,
I’ve been subscribed to you for a while now but when I came across this in my inbox I was speechless, It couldn’t be more perfect to my current situation (I’ll spare you the sorrow!). I used to be slightly lean about 13% bodyfat. Now due to moving about frequently and personal issues, I’ve packed on a good bit of fat (reaching 210 pounds from my old healthy 167, granted some may be muscle from failed attempts to start resistance training again). I can barely look at my body in the mirror, its sucks to know half your clothes don’t fit you anymore. I’m not afraid of hard-work I’ve overcame this fight for fitness being a chubby child before. The main problem lies that In 20 days is my prom before I go to university and standing next to my beautiful girlfriend (who I ADORE for standing next to me despite having the shadow of self esteem and confidence that I used to have) and on the 21st of June I leave to go to Ghana for 19 days to help build a school, and I want to look good in-front of my group that went to school with me, I want to be able to joke about funny things and not the double chin I’ve got coming on. Your program wouldn’t be a one-go solution to me, it would be an accelerator to where I aspire to be and maintain. I won’t let you down given the chance, period.
I have always been one of those “fit but fat” people in my 28 years. I was and still am an athlete, but I am overweight. I have a reputation with my in-laws as a health nut—with spending hours l days a week at the gym, eating healthily and drinking close to a gallon of water every day, plus dancing and golfing every weekend.
However, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid) about a year ago. I have been taking synthetic thyroid hormones daily as prescribed by my doctor so my body should respond to Xtreme Fat Loss 2.0 like someone who has a normal functioning thyroid. Since the thyroid hormone controls metabolism, I believe that XFL 2.0 is what I need to reset it and get closer to a normal body weight and ideal body figure.
The only reason I want this so badly is because I want to make sure that my body is the perfect vessel to bring a child into this world. My husband and I have been married 4 years and we are at the point in our lives where we want to expand our family. A healthy body is what is needed to increase our chances for a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.
XFL 2.0 will be a great resource for us to follow and achieve our health goals in order to conceive a child. It will also be what we need for us to be as healthy as we can as parents in order to be great examples of health for our future children.
Well, I am not overweight at all. Actually, I would say I’m fit but I always want to be leaner. I go to the gym 4 days a week, take 2 classes each time and I eat good. However, I could only see very SLOW progresses. In the past 7 months, I went to a guy TWICE trying to get my belly button pierced and he refused me TWICE! He said “You look a lot better but your belly button still CLOSES. You won’t look good that way!” That frustrated me after all the hard work!
When I found out about your program that has a strategic way to quickly lose fat which is exactly what I need, my fire was rekindled! I really want to give it a try to achieve this goal of my life! Thank you!
I weighed 299 pounds one year ago. I completely changed the way I eat and lost 65 pounds in seven months. Most days I walk three miles a day, but my weight has stayed the same for five months. However, I’m dedicated to losing the weight while burning fat and building muscle. So, I haven’t reverted to the way I previously ate or to the accompanying sedentary lifestyle.
For years, doctors advised weight loss surgery. I resisted, because I knew that was not the answer. I always wanted to lose weight, but more importantly… I wanted to be fit. I wanted to burn fat while building muscle. My goal is to be lean, strong, and fit.
I believe Joel’s plan is based on scientific fact and knowledge of how the body works based on experience and research. I want access to Joel’s plan, because I believe it is the perfect combination of diet and exercise. I believe it will give me the tools and knowledge necessary to achieve my goal of significant weight loss and muscle growth.
Completely changing the way I eat and move was extremely difficult and took a lot of dedication and belief that I’d eventually see a difference. It was very hard, but I did it. I know Joel’s plan won’t be easy, but I don’t care… the end result will be worth the effort. Hard work, based on the science and experience of Joel’s plan, will bring about the significant changes I’m determined to see.
Goooood Morning Joel! I really Really REALLY NEED your secrets hidden within your EXTREME Fat Loss Diet series! I’ve always been pretty athletic, even once I had kids we were always doing things together…hiking, biking, swimming. And We’ve always ate pretty healthy. Then about 4 years ago, I started a 2 year long custody battle. Through the stress of it all, I put on 5 lbs here and 5 lbs there. I gained 45 lbs and no matter what I did, I could not take it off. Within the past 2 years I’ve been able to loose 25 lbs but it’s not enough. I eat healthier than I ever have before and I jog for an hour in the mornings and do exercises between shifts at work. But we still have family night with pizza and treats and I travel a lot and sometimes it’s hard to find a good healthy cuisine. I’ve hit a plateau and need help! I NEED this not only to shape up and tone up but to show my girls that you can do anything you set out to do. One of my favorite says is, “There’s more than one way to skin a cat.” There may be 100 ways that don’t work but if you keep trying you’ll find that one way that does! Great things really do happen for those who make them happen!

Joel, I did the XFLD not once but TWICE. I bought your Cheat to Lose Diet and adhere to it on a regular basis but I still need something aggressive as summer’s almost here. I followed XFLD to the T, lost 9 (November 2010) and 8 pounds (April 2011) respectively, but lost some muscle in the process and my strength dipped WAY low. Im a big fan, read all your articles (and Vinny and John’s) but still havent reached single digit bodyfat. Either XFLD 2.o is the answer or im taking the advice of the local gym supp peddler..
I’ve tried just about everything. I’m almost convinced there isn’t anything out there that will help me find myself again. My hormones are a mess. After having 4 kids, I’m physically a mess. I don’t recognize myself in the mirror or pictures. I hate it. I’ve tried everything from running to starving. The only success I had was before I had my 4th child with a dramatic diet change and daily 2 hour visits to the gym. I don’t have that kind of time anymore and with this baby and turning 40, nothing that worked before seems to work now. I’m just frustrated and feeling dejected. Your programs seems to be full of promise but I am extremely skeptical.

Hi Joel,
I am a 50 year-old active woman who is…going through the change (to be read with a somber, echoeing voice). I have been eating right (mostly), drinking right (mostly) and have been doing a bootcamp-style workout for a year and a half (shin splints are a b**ch!). Anyway, I am now ready to get that belly as tight as the rest of me. Hormones be damned! I am now ready to drop the word “mostly”. I need the program to kick my belly to the curb! Thanks Joel.

I need this…..Menopause has kicked by butt and I seemed to have lost the race with it. Before I started into menopause I lost 40 lbs and was in passable shape
not great shape but ok. Then the dreaded menopause started and lumps and bumps arrived in places I had never been bumpy before! I have eaten healthy most of my life, but now even looking at foods packs it on. I want to do this to make sure I live as long as my Mom who turns 90 soon.
Hi, Joel,
I think I deserve to win a copy of your Xtreme Fat Loss Diet 2.0 System for one reason: I feel like I’m running out of time, and I need to draw a line in the sand.
Like a lot of people here, I’ve got a significant amount (40 pounds) fat to lose, but I’m also rapidly approaching 50 years old.
As a Navy veteran, I can remember my younger days: I could workout all day, eat anything while staying lean, get hurt, then recover quickly and do it all again the next day. Now, as a middle-aged man, the opposite is true: I gain fat easily, feel aches and pains that break my heart, and incur injuries that keep me sidelined from working out for weeks at a time.
It’s all because I carry so much extra weight.
I need to do an about-face before I either lose the will to keep fighting, or age overtakes me and I’m *unable* to keep fighting, despite my commitment to put in the time and effort in both the kitchen and the gym.
I feel like your Xtreme Fat Loss Diet 2.0 System could help me draw that line in the sand and start the journey back to the man I know I can be.
Thanks for listening.
Joel,
I would love to try your program and get rid of about 25 pound before I turn 40 years old this summer. I know this program is for me – what to do every day – PERFECT!! I have lost some but then just bounce right back. I would like to wow my friends and family this summer when they see me and my new body. I have tried many other things but the money and the patience for the same old thing has ran out. I have two young kids ( 4 and 7) and I would love to do more things with them and feel good about myself again.
Thanks for considering me and please HELP me! :)
Joel,
I have tried many things over the years to shed those ‘last few pounds’ around my mid-section to little or no effect. I am a cancer survivor on my 3rd clinical trial for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia and manage to get to the gym as many as 5-6 times a week, but am still having a hard time with that last bit of fat. Throughout my different treatment regimens I have always bounced back and gotten into the gym, which I feel is an essential part of my surviving and THRIVING in life, I just need a little extra piece of the puzzle to get me to where I have always wanted to be. I have done this in spite of being unemployed for 3 years and trying to build my own business, which is difficult, as I am sure you well know!
I appreciate your consideration and the guidance I get from your emails and hope I make the cut!
With gratitude,
Raymond
Thank you Joel for sending the daily video’s and information. I found them very enlightening and look forward to your program coming out. I’m 42 years old and have been working out now for a long time and would like to try your program to build on what I have already done with my nutrition. Like everyone, I’m just looking for ways to continually improve. Thank you again and I wish everyone luck in getting a free copy. I will get it either way.
Being a mother comes with so much joy! With that said the only sadness I feel is the results of my body after 2 c-sections. My babies are not babies anymore and i have tried so many “diets” and I am in the gym twice day and not getting the results that I want. I have been studying the information that Joel has given me and understanding it has made me so excited. I believe that this is the program that will get my pre-children body back! I havent enjoyed summer time in so many years because I am not comfortable in my body.I want this summer to be the best summer of my childrens life, I am dedicated to following Joel’s Extreme Weight Loss program and giving my 120% to achieving the body and healthness that I deserve. I would like to say Thank You for all the valuable information that you have already supplied me with and I am extremly excited to recieve more useful information to help me be successful at ending this battle of weight loss.
With many thanks- Shannon Lore
Joel, I am a 66 yr old obese diabetic. I had managed to keep my sugar levels in good control for some time with oral meds and insulin and regular work while renovating houses. A few months ago I injured my back during a renovation and have been seeing a chiropractor up to three times a week since. While this has been going on my activity level has dropped to almost nothing and my diabetic control has gone all to hell. I have gained 25 lbs during my rehab and that has contributed greatly to the loss of control in my sugar levels. I haven’t really “exercised” since I was in my teens lifting weights. I really have no idea where to start when it comes to exercising and I definitely don’t want to get involved with “fad” diets. I am looking for a system that combines sensible eating and sensible exercise to get rid of about 60 lbs and get my sugar levels back under control. From the info you have provided I am sure that your Xtreme Fat Loss system is just what I need to accomplish this. I would be extremely proud to provide you with before and after pictures if selected to turn my life around with this program.
Hey Joel,
I’ve always been the type of person who needs to see something to completion when I start it, whether it was school, work…anything. I have also always believed that the results you obtain from something should always reflect the amount of time and effort put into the task, and in many aspects in life, this holds true. Getting in good shape, however, has not been on of those areas for me. Since i was very little, I have had unsightly bodyfat that has haunted me, keeping my self-esteem at rock bottom. I began lifting weights to get bigger, and at one point I decided it was time to get ripped. Unfortunately, even with the weeks and months of calorie cutting and hundreds of hours of cardio, I have been unable to get rid of this stubborn bodyfat. I have never put so much effort this one goal of being lean and healthy, so when my hard work was not rewarded, I would fall off the wagon and gain back all if not more of the weight that I lost. And the fact that I put my hard earned muscle at risk by overdieting is probably one of the scariest things I can think of. I have not been a follower of your work for very long, but after signing up for your 5 free secrets to fat loss, I can see that you really know your stuff. For this reason, I think that your Xtreme Fat Loss Diet is the perfect program for me.
Thanks,
Sam
My job is to sit in front of the computer all day and about 6 months ago I realized that I was weighed 102kg 6 months ago..however, I started working out hard and hit the gym but I’m actually getting shape. However, sitting at 85kg and standing at 179cm there is still a potential for losing another 10 kilos which I simply cannot get rid of..I’ve tried programs after programs but it’s just not happening. the first chunk was not hard to get rid of though. If this program can help me lose those extra 10 kilos i’m down to give it a shot. make me happy, please :D
Hi Joel! There are so many people saying that their weight loss program is the best-guaranteed! Yet time and time again I have failed. Perhaps it is my own failure that has caused me to become the skeptic I am, so I mustn’t blame the program. A skeptic yes, but there is still a part of me that has some hope left. So prove me wrong Joel! I want to be wrong! I want to prove that your program does work! And I just don’t want to be a failure anymore! Thanks for your help and guidance!
I’m a frustrated person who has tried everything with little or no success. I’m healthy, active, and very “fat but fit”. I eat well, not excessively, have eliminated processed food and unhealthy additives from my daily diet, exercise first thing in the morning for 20-30 minutes five times a week, attend 90 minute karate classes two or three days each week. But even with all of this, at 5’10” tall, I still weigh over 220lbs. My metabolism seems to be stuck at an all-time low, and I don’t know what to do to get it back in gear. I’m glad I’m healthy – low heart rate, low cholesterol, and blood pressure at 117/78 – but if I don’t get the extra weight off, I know I’m looking at problems in the future.
