I am 49 years old. I started my health regimen in August 2010 at 305 pounds been going to the gym regularly and maintaining as best I can my nutrition. I have managed to lose 85 pounds and yet I am down to the last 30-40 pounds to lose and seem not to be able to go any further. (took me a little longer to sow my oats) I was an active athletic guy my whole life.I`ve always been health concious and tried to learn everything I could about a healthy lifestyle and now with the rigors of raising a family and work I have found it very difficult to keep a balance in my life for healthy fit living.I always had structure and a plan to follow in the past with regard to health and fitness as a former athlete.I impliment as much of what I get from Roman and the guys as I can but I find consistency very diffucult but knowing what I know about the extreme fat loss diet would without doubt keep me on the structured plan of action A guy like me needs so bad so that I can look forward to being in the best health and shape of my life for my growing boys and lovely wife.

This is not for me, this is for my wife. Of course I think she is perfect in every way. You no how women are. Always judging their bodies against the super models they see in the magazine in the Wal-Mart check out line. I have bought just about every thing out there to help her, even hormone therapy. She worked pretty hard to try and lose the last 25 lbs. but it’s just not happening. So after all the money I’ve spent to help her it would be pretty cool to find the one that worked for her to be free. Not to mention I could be her hero, I might float you a little credit. I have struggled with my weight for the last 10 years and have finally made exercise part of my life. I love it, love it, love it, which I never thought possible. I am still not up to speed with my eating habits, partly because I think I have read so much that I am incorporating everything, not necessarily the good stuff into how I eat every day. I have great respect for your work and know that if I followed the program you have developed I would finally reach my goals.
Hi Joel. I am a 48 y.o. male who is about 65 lbs overweight. While I have gone to the gym and such, I cannot seem to lose weight. I cannot find the correct combination of exercise and meal plans that work for me. Other diets just are too restrictive or are full of full I do not like. I really need to start losing weight while I can still enjoy playing with my kids and before it causes real health problems. The weight loss will also help my back problems I am sure. Please help!
Joel, I am soon to be 69 year old. After getting in pretty good shape for our daughter’s wedding 15 years ago I seem to have climbed up the weight scale continuously. This past two years have been difficult as medical issues have come on strong including a bout with breast cancer. I have tried to lose the weight but don’t seem able to stick with anything. Plateaus are the story of my life and then I lose it. We are going to the beach with our son for a week in about 6 weeks. Your approach to weight loss seems like a perfect solution. I have been particularly interested in the cheat day and what exactly happens with leptin. Have heard of this but never explained the way you have which makes it much more clear.

I am looking for a program that I would be able to use, and hopefully get my family to follow along with some of the strategies. I think that if they looked through the program–read and/or listened to some of the strategies, they might also join me in trying to get fit. None of us are overweight, however, none of us are in great shape either. I certainly know that of all of us, I eat the healthiest. Our son is physically in the best shape of any of us and our daughter is a close second. I am in the process of going to school to get my AAS as a fitness technician. I have been working really hard at trying to transform by body into a lean, tone and sexy shape. I have been struggling with getting the rest of the fat off of my body. I figure if this is the career choice that I am making I need to know how to teach my clients the correct and effective way to lose fat and look great. Hi Joel – I’d love a chance to tackle your system and see if it will work for me! I try to stay fit and have joined several fitness challenges at our local gym. I know I’m strong as I can lift more than many other women participating in the challenges, but the weight is going nowhere while I’m working out hard for 2 hrs a day. I had my gallbladder removed 2 years ago and have continued to be bothered by stomach issues. At a recent doctor’s appointment I was told that I’d likely have less stomach issues if I get the excess 40-50 lbs off my body. I felt discouraged and disgusted because I’m really “going after it”, but am not seeing nearly the results I feel I’m working for. Hello. I am a mama for 4 beautiful kids. And this year I am turning 30. Diabetes, cancer, heart disease, and others are rampant in my family. I have tried to improve my health and lose weight so I can be here “healthy” for my family. I am 5’2 and weigh 179 lbs. I’ve changed my diet to be healthier and have lost a few pounds. But I just can’t seem to lose very much. My day is full. I could really use some structure to help me reach my goals of a healthy weight and body.
I’m 26, a graduate student and enjoy working out but the nutrition has always been lacking. I played football inc ollege and could eat whatever I want but after two rotator cuff repairs and an ACL reconstruction all ina bout 2.5 years, it all went down hill and now that all of my time has been focused on school, I need a plan to help me. I had always been big but 280 lbs at 13% body fat is different than 260 and 27%. One year til graduation and I want to make it the best day of my life in every way possible, and not hate my graduation pictures.

What can I say, I’m 43 and weighing in at 330lbs, I’ve tried all kinds of diets and it’s not working. I have problems getting out with my wife and son. I’m a 46 year old woman who used most of her adult life taking care of others. Wife, mother, helping sister and daughter. Being a nurse made that also part of my daily work. In the process o lost myself. Only 5’1″ and 175 lbs at the start of this, not losing weight with the knowledge I have. I am post menopause and have been told to forget about ever losing all the 30kg weight that I have stacked on. I am a 54 mother that has suffered with MS since 1989. Before my diagnosis, I was very active as far as exercise. But, as my MS has progressed, my activity has lessened. Since having an exacerbation last August, I am gradually getting back to the gym. I’m a mother of 3 little ones. (16 mo, 2 yo & 4 yo). I join the gym a year ago to start working out. I want to lose the excess baby weight around my belly and tone up. However, it’s been a year and 2 hours at the gym 3-4 times a week has not made much of a difference. Yes, I’ve lost some weight but that’s about it. I’ve read your articles, I believe your workout will help me get the healthy and hot body that I want. Working full time with 3 little ones makes it almost impossible to work out 2 hrs a day a the gym. Especially, when the results are minimal.
