Hi Joel,

I’m French so sorry for my english! In fact I want your program for my wife! She gains a lot of weight when she was pregnent, after the baby was born (more than 2 years ago) she tried to loose weight because she was 30kg overweight! We tried a lot of stuff, nutrition, sport… but never with the result she expected even if the programs were supposed to do a lot of results. Now she still overweight and she doesn’t like her body, so she’s not good in her mind so our couple is in a red line because she hates herself and now she has no more hope to be one day fit!

I try to help her by my best and I still strong in my mind to do it but 2 and a half year is very long when you have trouble very often in your couple! She’s the woman of my life but i don’t know how many time i will be able to stay in this situation, she’s desperate and sad all the time, we don’t have a normal couple life anymore.

I think you can realy change our life and I will be so grateful if you do it!

I have been trying my whole life to produce a better me! I am an active grandmother of four hold an aerobic certiciate holder for 18 years 12 of which I was instructing. The industries is always changing and now at 52 years old I don’t have time to go with the flow. I have a few years left that I can look good and than I have the rest of my life to be heathy. I have MS for the past ten years (doing great) have always been active but have always been twenty pounds overwieght. I’m 48 y/o and I’m 30 kilos overweight. I’ve read dozens of different diet books and tried lots of different approaches. Some things work for a short time but then I put all my weight back on plus extra!

I recently ate nothing but organic food – rice, meat, vegetables and a bit of fruit, for 3 months and only lost 8 kilos. By the end of it I felt half starved and when I stopped I put it all back on…

I’m very motivated by your unique approach and have been really looking forward to your emails and tips. When you spoke about your “cheat” day it totally made sense to me. When I’ve been on those other diets I always found I’d start to feel desperate and sort of ‘low’ within about 5 – 7 days of strict calorie control – now I know why! The fast days make sense to me too – no need to feel guilty about what I’ve eaten the day before and I’d then be even more motivated to follow the plan for the rest of the week.

I’ve been diagnosed with fatty liver, my cholesterol is up, I’m on prescription heartburn medication and I’m pre-diabetic…I need to change and I need to do it now.

I have zero confidence but I do have a lot of fat. Help me ! :)

It seems the older we get the harder it gets. I was laid off for a year and did not lose weight but toned up, now after finding a job, driving an hour and sitting 75% of the day and then the hour drive back home. By the time you get home and fix a quick unhealthy supper, you just don’t want to do anything. Along with age comes more medical problems. Was just recently put on heart medication and I do have the excess belly fat, so that also tends to put a good scare into you.

I’m 165cm and 33 yrs old. For the past 11 yrs I’ve let my self go. I was active in my High school years and after University I became engrossed in my career (nurse). Through these years my weight ballooned to a staggering 92kg. Around 20 months ago a gym opened at work I since then started going to the gym. I have impressively lost approx 25 kg and am in my ideal weight of 68 kg. However my body fat has continued to plateau around the 12%. I have followed your program and have incorporated some nutritional and eating habits that I have benefited from thus so far. The energy I have now has given me a new lease in life especially running around with my 2 kids (under 4 yrs old).
Adding to this ever since my high school years the six pack has always eluded me and still to this day.
I would be so grateful for this gift in attaining my dream goal of reaching single digit body fat % and that elusive six pack.

I have been playing the “diet game” for a VERY long time and I am looking for something that will actually work and your program looks to fit. With the early information you have been sending me you seem to have put in the time to find the truth and can really help people lose the fat not the just the weight. I am a 44 year old Grandma of two young boys and I want to be able to play with them and be part of their lives but until I can shed 75-100 pounds I’m afraid I will miss out on a lot of their young lives and maybe be gone from them and my children too soon. Hello Joel,
I am 26 years young, 170 cm tall and i weight 72 kg. I have now 23% BF. Why i entered numbers in non american meassures? Because i am from Czech Republic, a little country in the center of the Europe.

I am passive subscriber of many sites with fat los, gain muscle themes, but this is the first time i decided to step out of passivnes and make a move tovards activness. I’ll tell you why.

First time i believe that a fat loss program makes sense. I’ve tried lot types of diets, some of them very extreme, with a little to no effect.

“What i’ve been doing wrong?” i was asking myself every time when i saw my belly. Now i know, thanks to the principles i have seen on this site.
I already started to include this principles in my diet and after few days (and one cheat day) i see it is working.

My goal is to be healthy, strong and have a visible sick pack (and no manboobs he he )

Will you help me to achieve my goals?

I am not a young man any more, 58 and my wife no longer lives at home with me due to illness; she resides in a nursing home. Thyroid went kaput. Menopause piled on. Then the Low Carb diet stalled out. 58 year old knees rebel at the miles they used to do. I need to learn a new life style, a new way of exercising, the right way to eat to get rid of this new spare tire I’m sporting. I used to just strap on my track shoes and run it off. In my early adult life I was 5’10” 115lbs, even after having babies. No more. I went up to 200 lbs. this winter. With a low-carb diet I’m down to 180, but I’ve been stuck here for 3 months. And the weight that did come off was from everywhere but my middle. HELP!

After being referred to your site by Mike Geary, I started seeing a trend of new ideas that were sustainable in a diet. Not restriction, just changing the way I eat. I am a mother of 3 grand mother of 6, 10 years ago I was told I have a birth defect in my brain my body fram has stayed the same yet my weight gain has gone up. I have ACC and it is shuting down my nurvice system leaving my skin numb. I have tried every thing to lose the weight I gaind over the last 10 years. I have to have both knees replaced now, I would like to try the XFLD programe and get the weight down were I can manage things better, I am getting ready to open a new business. Every time I lose weight I gain back twice that I lose. I want to be around for the grandchildren who are a big part of my life and I need to get the weight down to be able to help out with them again. Hey Joel….well I’m not gonna give you a sobbing story like others are doing but I am 28 yrs old, 5″7 and currently weight 187 lbs.

I use to weight 224 lbs. a 11 months ago. I was extremely over weight and I lost 37 lbs. I’d be happy to show before and after pics. The problem is that my ideal weight should be 165 lbs, I think… I’m still at 25% body fat and need to drop that. I still have a bit of a belly and I have hit a brick wall or plateau! I just can’t break through and lose more body fat for some reason.

is CAD for a local custom cabinet/casework company. However, I still must
do installations & related work on occassion, as well as having to rebuild an
hurricane damaged garage on the week ends.

Since I’m in somewhat poor health (& quite a bit overweight) I find it rather
hard to complete the necessary work for very long @ one stint. Perhaps
your system will help get me closer to my weight & health goals …

I am curious to find out if your plan is able to correct a very faulty metabolism. One that is very insolent resistant even after years of cutting out (85%) of the high carbs from my diet. My body soooo wants to be 200 lbs LOL(able to keep it under 150) but since I am 52 I really appreciate the need for gaining muscle but haven’t experienced it much even though I do go to the gym and lift weights.

Also I gave birth to 4 10lb babies do you really think there is a chance of my ever having a decent set of abs??? Actually I would be happy with just a waist ;o) I know you are probably thinking at my age why bother, but I actually don’t look 52 and I have been trying for almost 30 years and so would love to experience success before it is a mute point. ;o)

When finding the reasons why I got overweight, I realize that when I was a teenager I tried so hard to be unnoticed. So, the way to do that; I gained a lot of pounds. I tried almost every diet, fasting, exercises, but they fluctuate on and on. So sad! Now that I`m 37 years old, I`ve been working hard on self seem, because I think that part of a successful lose weight program needs our mental focus and determination on it. Anyway, I feel that my mind is ready, but I just need your help to reach my dreamed body and perhaps finally leave my worries about how bad I look on a bikini suit, etc. I`m glad that you found the easy way to reach the balance in mind, body and spirit, because all go together. I have struggled with my weight for most of my life. I am a 49yr old male, who really needs to get a handle on my weight. I need your help. I have tried many different diets and diet pills with little or no success. I am in the need of some neck surgery and it would be much better if I could some of this weight off.

I’m a 50 year old personal trainer/fitness instructor, who, after a recent divorce, is trying to put my life back together. My husband ended up with the family home and I moved about 15 minutes away. My teenage kids prefer to spend time at the house they grew up in, so I don’t get to see them as much as I would like. Feeling I had lost my kids, my husband and my home I fell into depression.

I was running my business from the family home. In order to continue running my business I have had to put an addition onto my new home. In the mean time I have been running my business from a small room in my new house. My business has really suffered. This has caused me a great amount of stress.

I am currently experiencing symptoms of menopause. In spite of eating healthy and working out like crazy I have put on about 10 pounds in the last year, all of it around my waist. I have never been overweight in my life. I don’t feel good about the way I look; I need to regain my confidence. As a personal trainer, I can’t be walking around with an extra 10 pounds.

I used to be a very active athlete during my younger years, but the nature of my work and lifestyle eventually took precedence and the pounds started coming on. A few years ago I started running which unfortunately resulted in several injuries and one knee surgery which again resulted in more pounds coming back on because of the inactivity.

There are so many weight loss programs out there that no one really knows what will fit them or their lifestyle. I think your program may be the solution for a lot of us who need to lose the weight and want a healthier lifestyle.

I am 34 years old and I slowly picked up an enormous amount of weight over the last 7 years. Like so many of us, I have and am trying everything. I have been for blood tests. I watch what I eat. I exercise (and vary my exercise routine) 4 times a week. I have managed to shift some of the weight and feel so much healthier and my self-esteem has creeped up. But for the past 3 months, NOTHING is working. It would seem that getting older has knocked my metabolism and I don’t know what else to do. I dispair that I will be stuck in this body that is carrying 40 pounds too much forever. And I haven’t even had kids yet!!!!!!!!

A recent college graduate on the job hunt while trying to eat healthy and to work out consistently. Time is precious. Money is tight. Results are needed.
Since I broke my leg playing rugby, I had been hesitant to start working out because it became “hard.” Enough excuses, now I’m back in the gym. I need a solid plan to follow so I can focus all my energy on pushing myself to the limit instead of trying to piece together a workout plan all by myself.
