I’m an active 76 year old. I still mow my lawn, teach at a correctional facility, volunteer at the senior center and walk at the very least 10,000 steps a day everyday. Of course everything on my body has gone so far south that they have an accent and my weight is more of a struggle now.

I just need some no nonsense information to help me, and your course seems to be what I need.

WOweeeeeee!!!! Why I think correction why I KNOW this is the program I need jumpstart and accelerate me fatloss journey??? Well since I learned from you back in ’10 I never heard off anything such as cheatdays,fasting or anything like it. I was also also kinda wondering about all this info I was getting about your style and this program via your blog and others. Then one good day I decided to give it a swirl(this was beginning of June last year). With all the bits and pieces I gathered I made my ‘homemade’version of the XFLD , well at least my interpretation on it,lol! But Joel let me tell you…It worked!! Just in time 4 my B-Day!! I dropped a good 10 pounds!! But that was without your master workouts and without your specific details of the diet…So I can only imagine what the real original XFLD will do 4 me when I actually get the chance to follow it by the teeth!!!!! Me & those so unneccesary 40lbs excess fatcells of mine need you…BAD! I will flip 4 sure if I can look even better this year on my upcomming B-Day!! :)

Joel, I am a 34 years old male and tried many diets with varying results. All ending with getting stuck on a certain weight and not being able to break through the plateau and reaching my goal weight! Once I gave up the diet the pounds just returned slowly! I like eating and giving that I am a regular at our local gym now for nearly 11 years the eating must be my problem accompanied with some wrong exercises for my specific goal.
Most of the weight loss programs I was on either have limited or no exercise programs attached to it. The calorie intake of these programs simply did not allow me to train as hard as I normally do and resulted in me craving additional calories after each workout.
I have now followed the information you supplied in the last few days and it seems to be a program that will fit me like a glove as it uses both diet and exercise to reach your goal. Joel I need to lose about 30 lbs. I have tried just about everything including a handful of vitamins and other pills that are suppose to help with weight loss everyday, I exercise and the scale is stuck at the 150 mark. I feel horrible, I’m on antidepressants, I’m tired all the time, even if I get a good nights sleep, I don’t like to socialize with alot of people, my husband doesn’t even look or talk to me anymore, he wants me to be slim like I was a few years ago. Long time follower, first time submitter. In truth, my reasons for seeking out this program are very selfish. I’m a young high school teacher who, after a recent divorce, is trying to put my life back together. Currently my age is mid 50’s. About 8 1/2 years ago I had a major car accident & spent 6 weeks in hospital. Prior to this I was of probably a little better than average fitness and no more than marginally over weight. As a result I am now quite limited in what types of exercise/workouts I am physically able to do. This discouraged me a fair bit & while most other things are fine I have put on a fair bit of weight in that time since that accident. While I do watch quite carefully what I eat & how much it seems like nothing is successful in reducing the weight…so it has become quite a challenge. I believe your Extreme Fat Loss program will provide me with an eating program that will get my metabolism back to normal in combination with many of your exercises that I am capable of doing. I am freshly inspired.

HELP

After going through the menopause, I found fat “being added” to my body in new and alarming places! Who knew you could get a fat back??? I thought other women were making excuses when they said it’s harder to lose weight post-menopause, but they were right :( It doesn’t help that I live in a very hot climate so running, or even walking, more than short distances isn’t really feasible and I’m not comfortable in a gym.

I’m not looking for a diet – I want a LIFESTYLE change and I think this could be it.

I walk for my exercise because I have asthma. I have been trying to lose my weight because of my diabetes but haven’t been able to. I am getting married in september 3rd 2011 in sunny jamaica.i am going gym 5 times a week at present but not seeing the result needed. need I say anymore sir.

i am 36 years old and i always had this problem of weight gain (with periods of weight loss). i find it difficult to maintain weight, mainly i know because of faulty eating habits. i want to strike a balance between diet and exercise for my body type as i tend to put weight on my upper body and stomach area very fast (because of pcos) . i feel your expert advise will help me in maintaining healthy lifestyle

Hi Joel, I do not have any excuses. I have studied exercise and nutrition for most of my life. I prepare my food for breakfast and lunch each day. My problem is I eat too much for dinner which is usually later in the evening. I exercise for at least an hour at least 5 days per week but I sit in an 8×12 room for the rest of the day. I guess that makes me a chair potato. Obviously at my age that does not constitute eating like an “athlete” which I am learning the hard way. I am not looking for a diet. I can find them or make my own anytime. I am looking for a life style program that I can live with and feel good about. Fifty years ago my grandfather fasted one day per week. He said it gave his body a chance to get back in balance. What do I do the rest of the week?

I need this program because it’s the first time in a long time I’ve gotten excited about a diet. I’m 31 years old and 7 months postpartum with my 3rd baby. I’m looking for a plan that thinks for me, like you guys mentioned, and is quick with results. My body LOVES to gain weight when I’m preggo and losing it is an even bigger challenge. My self esteem is low and I feel like I’m not adequate enough for my husband. He’s in good shape and we train together and really I just feel like a fat blob around him. Ive lost a bunch of weight already but i would love to be what i was before i got pregnant. Oh and being it’s our 3rd baby, money is kinda tight so any help is a plus ;).

Ever since I was only 7 years old I had problems with my body and my self-esteem. I was a chubby kid in Puerto Rico and would always hide behind my big sister, sort of, because she was a tooth pick compared to me. Every year my gradma would buy as airline tickets to go to Port St Lucie, Florida to spend our summer vacation with her, going to pools and parks. Anyway, I remember one summer our Grandma signed us up for camp in the YMCA. On just the first day I managed to have 5 kids, all 14, make fun of me because I was puertorican and because I was fat. It got so bad that I ended up fighting with one of the kids. At that time, I barely spoke english so trying to explain what had happen to the counselor, plus the fact that I was crying so hard, wasn’t fun. Ever since then I haven’t been able to take my shirt off and be proud of it. I have been following you for the past 4 months and I really like what you are doing and I feel like I can trust that what your doing is “for real”. I have followed some of your instructions and they have worked and made a really big difference. Now I need something that will set me up to the final stretch of my body shape. I believe this program is for me because I am longing to feel proud of who I am outside, just like the inside and this is the program that will help me do that. Joel, I decided to get in shape after I saw a picture of myself on the beach in Hawaii while my family came out for a visit. I didn’t want to be the fat out of shape dad for my sons. I’m 42 and in the military, and diet while deployed is always a challenge. The XFL system appears to be exactly what i need to sustain a healthy lifestyle. I’ve been trying many methods to lose fat and keep hard earned muscle, but, as you well know, it’s not easy. The hardest part for me right now is the diet end of my quest for long-term health and fitness. From what I’ve seen, XFL has the tools and info required to put me on the path for long term success.

The program would be the motivation I need to focus on losing my extra weight. Since I am 49 and a diabetic these extra pounds really puts a havoc on my blood sugars. Getting more lean would be very beneficial.

At my age the metabolism is somewhat slower than it was 20 years ago (OK, it took a nose dive). My eating habits have attributed to this. Hi Joel, I am 50 years old and over the years have abused my body, when I was a kids I would throw my body anywhere to make a save, catch a ball. Iwould do anything that could make us win. Now after 2 knee surguries and a shoulder replacement I am a new father of a 2 year and a 4 month and my doctor told me that I will need a knee replacment. I need to lose weight and and get back in shape to try to avoid this, it would be really great to some energy back to keep up with my kids and over just improve my health for my kids and wife.

Hi Joel. I’m an active (gulp) 40 year old mother of a 1 year old son who we adopted last year. The stress of the adoption piled the pounds on this once formerly-freakishly-strong but tiny body. A cross country move didn’t help. We’re settled now and I’ve been reading your updates, and the “old me” would have been able to take the information and construct a diet plan without a problem. This “new me”, who I’m still getting used to, appears to need a structured plan to read and hold in my hands to see what I’m supposed to do. It’s sad but I’ve given all my brain power into raising my son, and I need to see this in black and white in order to be the young-looking, hard-bodied/hot-bodied mom I would have been had I not had all the stress. It was, however, totally worth it for what I got in the end.
