hi i have been on a lifestyle change (dont want to call it a diet as i want this to be a permanent change in my life) for the past four months now and have managed to lose 30 pounds so far. (see 30 pounds in four months?) i still have another 40 or so to go so basically want to see if your system can deliver. going at a rate of 30 pounds every four months was my idea of losing healthy but it would be interresting to see if i could lose even faster – heck i’d be ecstatic….

I’ve been struggling with weight gain for several years and each time I finally think I have a handle on it something gets in the way. I have been on diet for decades, trying all kind of diets. Last November, I joined Fast Track to Fat Loss, which works really well if you have a regular daily life, and can prepare your meals in advance. This year, I travel abroad every second month for one or two weeks, stay in different hotels (often 3 stars), eat what is available at the nearby restaurants…you can imagine! By the time I arrive home I gain every pound back that I managed to loose before! I really need a plan for fixing my weight in a fast but healthy way between the trips.

I’ve suffered a double bereavement in the last 12 months, and unsurprisingly have been comfort-eating my way through it as I try to make sense of it all. Hi Joel, I gave up smoking in October 2009 and was a perfect weight for my height. Since then my weight has slowly but surely crept up :( I’m at an unhealthy weight for my height and build, have tried lots of other diets and going to the gym. I have read up about your Xtreme Fat loss diet and truely believe that this could be a breakthrough for me, to enable me to succeed, where I have failed before. I have gave up polluting my body with chemicals from smoking and this will no longer kill me. I want to be here for my kids and dont want obesity to kill me. Well Joel, I would like to lose 75 lbs and learn how to eat appropriately to live a healthy active life. I’d also like to incorporate an easy to maintain exercise routine. I am in great health except for the extra weight and I find it hard to stick to any change long term if I don’t see big results in the beginning. I’m Polynesian. Obesity runs rampid in my family tree. It has KILLED all of my relatives up to this point. I want to be the first to break this deadly cycle by being an example of what life can be without being another FAT, SLOPPY looking Polynesian. I used to look good, when compared to others with a similar physical stature to me.. I trained regularly, ate wholesome, nutrional foods most of the time, said “no” to drugs, etc. But since Jan 2010, things just started to go south..fast forward 14 months & I am now borderline overweight, my vitals are no where near the ideal they once was, and I find comfort in as much chocolate covered sweets as I can get my hands on – the reason being, I didn’t see the results I wanted to see and finally gave up thinking “why fight fate?”
The Problem is that now I feel like sleeping in, instead of raring to get outta bed every morning – I miss the old me but I don’t want to take years to get back to that person I used to be..with or without those elusive 6 pack abs I always wanted. Help me out Joel!!

I am Hristiana and I am almost 21 years old. I live in Bulgaria, a small country in Eastern Europe. I get on e-mail your stuff and I am enjoying them a lot, because they make a lot of sense to me and my lifestyle. Although, I am still very young, being in a good shape has become with high priority in my life and it is defining my happiness in one way or another. I am not, neither was overweight, despite that my parents are obese and do not have any eating or exercising habits at all. So, everything I learn and do in order to be in a good shape is because of my personal motivation and interest. So, my I am a little above 110 pounds (I think this is the equivalent of 52-53 kg) and I have a nice body, but it is not perfect as I want it to be. I am exorcizing in the gym a lot, 3-4 times a week with my fitness instructor – I don’t know whether it is the perfect program, but is better than exorcizing on my own. I’m trying to restrict my diet and eat only healthy foods, but I have to admit that I do not succeed 100% of the time. I have my cheat days but may be I am not organizing them as I should in order to benefit. Overall, I am close to my dream body but every time I get the closest, something happens and push me far away from my dream. Then I have to work very hard again to see the results that I already have accomplished, so it become a little bit like and enchanted circle for me. I want to know what I have to do, to have my perfect body and manage to retain it this way. I know that what I want is perfectly possible but there is something that I am missing or not doing right. I believe that your book can give me the answer that I am looking for so that this summer I will have the body that I always wanted to have.

Because I am 4 kilos off my goal weight and really need the little extra boost before I go on holiday in 4 weeks. I am going to look at places to get married and also want be able to wear a bikini for the first time in my life without feeling self conscious.

I am not overweight at all…in fact in pretty good shape! But, I want to take that to the next level. I compete in Masters Athletics (am 35) and recently won a gold medal at the South African Masters Champs in the long jump. I know that to get National Colours and go to the World Champs I will have to improve my power to weight ratio…and that means dropping my body fat and increasing muscle! I am a 46year old mother of 4, who has always been very thin, until my last 2 children were born. I was in a bad marriage, depressed, and all the bad stuff that goes with that. Our story. Life happens despite the best of our intentions and our lack of attention to some of the necessary details of life regarding health and wellness as you highlight. The importance of food supplements and home fitness programmes combined with recreational cycling, walking and swimming were therefore indulged in whenever possible. However facts have got to be faced. A beneficial eating and safe exercising plan needs to be taken seriously by us now not only to remedy past actions but also to put in place correct actions going into the future.
We have entered the retirement stage of our lives. My wife and I are not where we honestly know we should be regarding eating and exercise ‘habits’. I am a 36 year old woman. I have been Obese my entire life since the age of 6.
I decided to change my life and I started my weight loss journey in 2008. I
have managed to lose 215lb of weight over 3 years by incorrect diets.
