I’m in a bit of a different situation than everyone else so I don’t know if I’ll qualify; however, you don’t know until you try, right? I’m a recently unemployed paralegal who is also a fitness instructor and I have been running a side business for over a year. Now that I have more free time, I’m focusing more on my business. I love your program, at least what I’ve read so far, and I know I can use the knowledge to help other people, including myself. I’m 46 and pretty fit. I’m very strong (I teach bootcamp type, high interval, tabata type cardio and strength training). I’m a healthy 48-year-old woman who has been struggling with losing weight since having my last child, who is now 11 years old. I lost my mother to cancer 4 years ago and fell into a deep depression. I gained even more weight since then. I finally took control of my life last summer and lost about 30 lbs. While I am very happy about the weight loss, I still need to lose about another 40 lbs. I’ve tried everything and can’t seem to lose any more. I eat very healthy and walk/jog twice a day and work out (P-90x) at least once or twice a week. I do feel good about the progress I’m making as far as my health goes, but would love to get back into my small sizes again. It is so frustrating to work as hard as I do and not see the results I feel I deserve. But, even though I’m not losing fat, I know I’m getting stronger and healthier and that’s better than sitting on the couch doing nothing. I know this program is perfect for me because I’m already conditioned to working out and eating healthy. I just need a good, structured program to follow to see great results.
As a busy Mother of 4 children I am constantly striving to give them a good life. I am doing so by working full time, going to nursing school and starting my own business. Hey Joel, been following you and Dr. K now for almost a year now and love the stuff you guys put out. I have been Training hard on and off for the last thirteen years and just can’t seem to get past a certain point in fat loss. Despite my hard training, rehabing past sports injuries, and working to maintain a balanced diet. I think that this program will smash me past this annoying plateau! Haha. Anyways man good job, and keep up the great work!
Around my sophomore year in high school I began to notice how unathletic I was. I have a gut and outta shape, it was embarrassing to not able to do 5 pushups during gym warmups! Since then I’ve lifted weights for a while an got a lil stronger an into decent shape but still have a gut. I did some research and found out what I was doing was wrong. I believe with this program I hopefully will get into much better shape, reach my goals and get the lean physicue I always wanted.
I currently spend between 8-10 hours a week in the gym doing weight training and cardio needing to drop about 80lbs and tighten up my core. I am 6’5″ and weigh just over 300lbs. At 42 I know I need to get in better shape to enjoy my life with my children. I don’t want to have to result to pills or surgery so if your program can help me get in better shape, extend my life and improve my health then I will be not only a perfect test subject, but also your strongest advocate.

I have started to become conscious with my health two years back when one of my younger colleagues died of a heart attack, he was only 31 then and I was 32. I was weighing 106kgs, around 25kgs over my ideal weight. I was already feeling some chest pains during that time, and that incident struck. So I started dieting and doing exercise regularly. It started to be a quick process of reducing fat at first but upon reaching 90kg after over a year, the fatloss process slowed down, leaving me still stuck with my flabby belly. I am still eating the right and healthy foods as advised by you and your other colleagues, still exercising regularly but fatloss seems to have halt and after 2 years im still at 86kg. I dont know what to do anymore, I dont want to eat lesser as it might affect my muscle mass, but I still got the flab. I am in a bliss now and I dont really know what else to do. I want to be lean but after 2 years of regular exercise and eating healthy and taking in the right amount of calories allowable, it still has kept me to acheive a lean body that I long for. I am willing to try anything at the moment to at least get more fats out so that I would be able to look myself in the mirror and feel good about what I acheived.
I am a health care provider, a dentist, who believes that personal responsibility is the only way to live a long and healthy life. I believe that by sharing my success with my patients I might be able to motivate them to not only take better care of their mouthes, but the rest of their body as well. i am a very busy executive and am married and have 2 daughters aged 4 and 8. While i do devote a lot of time and energy to my job, i feel i am not able to give the same time and energy to my family especially my daughters. i come home and i am low on energy and frequently irritable. this is because i am quite unfit and overweight right now. i need a program which can restore my body to a fit state while increasing my energy levels so that i can come home and be happy with my children.

I have been working out every day and at this time have lost 60lbs of fat. I do not go to the gym, but look for different exercise videos online that will help me with either full body workouts, upper or lower workouts and ab workouts. I am so proud of what I have accomplished to date. I am working on the next and final 30lbs, and want to make sure that when this is gone, that I can keep it off.
These last pounds are really the toughest and your extreme fat loss program would truly make the difference to helping me to lose that fat that seems to still be sticking to me in some places it shouldn’t be! I am in my early 50’s with a strong desire to live a happy and healthy life for many years to come. Unfortunately I have not always taken the best care of myself, so I am overweight, have high cholesterol and high blood pressure. For the last three months I have been exercising more frequently, watching my diet closely and generally trying to take better care of myself. Success has come pretty slow as far as the weight loss goes. I have been able to add some muscle tone, but I still weigh the same. One of my biggest concern has been doing exactly what you describe as putting your body into the starvation mode. I have done some reading on this and your plan interests me a great deal. It seems to me that as soon as I think about dieting my body goes into the starvation mode and thusly my success is limited. I know this is not the case but it sure feels that way. I am eager to try your program (and have every intention of doing so) because it addresses the very problem that I have been battling. I am willing to put forth the effort to achieve results, I just have to do it right and I think I have found the program that will allow me to do it the right way for my body.
as you can see ive been wanting to loose the last 1 1/2 of belly fat to reveal those abs! I misse last summer and the summer before and i can’t miss this summer for my abs to be covered, seriously! I struggle to loose the weight, build muscle and icant get one or the other i do eat fast food 1 or 2 every week but it’s hard to leave fast food alone and knowing it’s soo good and this program makes you eat fast food every 5 day cycle and that is great i never heard of something eating eating junk especially pizza to loose weight and it’s a 25 day program with every 5 days junk i can eat especially how your insulin and lepin works. Tried p90x, insanity, and idk what I’m not doing wrong but mostly 1 day of fast food but idk and I’m tired of not loosing the weight and being ridicolous
I’ve been following your mails and found them very interesting and useful. I’m currently at a low body fat percent. You don’t know how much i desire to get that six pack popped up. Since I’m not very big and muscular I’m really afraid of loosing my so hard earned muscle. When I first heard I could lower my body fat percent while keeping lean muscle I knew I would give you all my hopes.

I’d give my left arm to be “skinny” fat–to be “skinny” anything! I haven’t seen skinny in ever! Now, at 50+, with wonky joints and cartilage-free knees, I’ve discovered that I LIKE to work out (love them kettle bells). I want a plan that’s science based, logical and doesn’t require an advanced math degree. This sounds like it!
I have tried numerous diets and have never worked for me. I am unable to shed those kilos especially around the abdomen area unless i have surgery. I have been informed there is nothing that can be done about my body and I have to live with the way I am. I need a flat stomach. I am a former gym rat who has fallen way low from the fit path. In the past three years I have gained and lost the same 25 lbs NINE times through low calorie dieting. I am committed to this current dieting cycle being the last one. I desperately need a guide I can follow to keep this weight off once and for all.
