having 3 very active young kids 5 yrs,3 yrs and 2 months…being able to go and play with them in the park on a daily basis would be great…

I’m a 32-year-old Hungarian mother with 3 kids under the age of 5. Struggling with insuline-resistance, slow metabolism and high body fat level (skinny fat, that is, because my BMI index is perfect) I know it takes hard work to fight all these back.
I strongly believe that being over 30 and being a mother does not mean that I’m destined to be unfit and weak. Quality life should not end here, and I’m determined to enjoy my life at its fullest in a healthy body and spirit. A strong, lean, healthy mother/wife/woman -these are the goals I’d like to achieve.:-)
Im 45 and a proud mum of 8, have suffered with crohns disease for the last 20 yrs and had two operations and feeling much better now but seem to be suffering with middle aged spread now so feel its time for me to do something about this, but being a busy mum you will appreciate that I dont get much time to think about my self so could do with some HELP

Well I am not really overweight but it would be nice to shed that extra 20 pounds or so. To shed that last bit of weight that is the difficult part.

I gotta say I’ve been so excited about XFL2.0 coming out! When I read your article on Leptin and how cheat days were vital to helping weight loss it just made sense. I’ve recently lost 20 pounds and feel great, but I’ve always been the chubby girl, or I guess now the curvy woman. :) I’ve learned to let go of my emotional eating and become a healthier person, however I’ve never been able to release that last 20 pounds. Your program makes me believe that my past weight loss struggles don’t have to define me, and that I can be the true person I’m meant to be.
I believe in life that you need to have a strong centre in your mind, spirit, and body. I’ve worked incredibly hard to recapture my self love, and I’ve explored the tough questions that life has thrown at me. I guess my biggest challenge was coming out and falling in love with a woman. And, my biggest blessing has been that I’m surrounded by unconditional love. I always thought of me finding my ideal health, like Michelangelo’s David. When asked how he created David from a block of stone, Michelangelo replied that he did not create David from the stone; rather he saw David in the stone and merely chipped away at the unneeded pieces until David emerged. I believe it’s my time to emerge my true self.

Hi Joel! I am a subscriber to your mails and found an information you are giving away really interesting and promising! Lots of science (good for me as I am not trusting anything without science proof), great advices, tips and tricks.
So, I am in my mid 40’s and have some extra on my waist. Working out hard in gym at least three times weekly and still could not manage to get rid of those pounds. As I said, your staff looks very promising from the scientific point of view and I really hope I can finally made it with your help. At least I can be a Guinea pig for the whole 25 days (Shhhhh – that’s my deepest dream of all, do not tell anyone).
After a bad fall in my staircase 6 years ago and many years of bad advice on fitness training, I ended up with horrendous lower back problems stopping me from doing anymore sport. I reached a point where I was crying everyday as the pain (even with painkillers) was excruciating. I could not even carry a heavy book!!
Of course as a result of total inactivity, the weight piled on. I finally strated living again when I finally found one of the best consultant in London who ended up operating on me and removed 2 completely crushed disks and replaced them with 2 prothetics ones. it took me 2 years to fully recover from that operation but now!! Waoooo! I have my life back and have no more pain!!
However, as I am 48, I find that even with good training, my weight is incredibly hard to shift and yet I am very health conscious!! So I really would appreciate your great advice to regain my total fitness to embrace the menopausal stage of my life. Thank you!
After having two children in as many years, I have struggled to shed the baby weight. With a young family I find that I’m always putting their needs before my own. I find myself more and more depressed with my weight and hate going out as I feel self conscious, this really isn’t the life I imagined I’d be living after having my children, I thought it would be fun and active. my name is sarah and i am 23 years old. All my life i have never really been fat, but i havent been skinny either. I was always invisible. i always thought that if i weighed the same as the other skinny girls i may not be invisible anymore, but when i did reach that weight i was still nowhere in the same league as them. And the knowledge of why that was never really hit me until i read and saw the pictures of the two women who weighed the same and looked totally different. as invisible as i was i married a rather perfect guy. you know the ones that naturally have the gift of a fast metabolism. he is lean and strong without even trying. i had my third baby six months ago and i look at us now and i cant stand next to him without feeling i dont belong in the picture anymore. i have tried alot of different things in the last 6 months but nothing has put a dent in the fat around my waist, thighs, and arms. i know he loves me but i need to be able to love myself as well. but i cant do that when i know i have untapped potential that could literally change the way i see myself. aside from a rather superficial stand point, my family has very bad health problems on both sides and many have died from these problems already. i love my family very much but weight control is a big issue, and i believe its making their health conditions worse than they have to be. if i could find something that would truely works, i think i could help my family becomes more health and happy.

Hi Joel, I am 46 and overweight. I have tried just about every diet there is going and I lose about 12lbs over 12 weeks and then it stops no more weight loss, then I get disheartened and give up, only to put on 14lbs in weeks. I am so fed up! I not looking to be buff, I would just like to lose some weight to be healthy. I was diagnosed with breast cancer 7 years ago and put a huge amount of weight due to the steroids they put me on. I was then diagnosed with Lupus which they put down to stress caused by the cancer. Lupus means I suffer from Chronic Fatigue and I am sure the excess weight does not help this, also my blood pressure is a little on the high side. Well, been a heavy guy all my life and am very prone to weight gain. Am 38 y/o with a 35% bf measurement. I have also been diagnosed with low testosterone and high estrogen (probably due to aromatisation from large amounts of adipose tissue). Current stats, 178 cm tall, 114 Kg’s. Neck 42.5 cm, belly 122 cm.
In the past I have tried to lose weight by diet alone, by exercise alone and by a combination of both.
Diet alone works to shed weight (not fat), but all and then some is gained back. When I throw exercise in (mostly weight training, BB style) I cannot keep up the intensity, probably because my macro nutrient ratio’s are wrong, meal timing is wrong, supplementation is wrong, and most likely the exercise as well…
I do know a bit of dieting properly, i.e. macro cycling, under and over feeding, paleo diet etc. I also know a bit about different types of exercise, but I do not know how to put it all together or how to control the results, and I’ve been spinning my wheels for about 3 years now since making the decision to change.
So, I guess I am asking that you would be so kind as to help me bring all the elements together in order to finally make the requisite changes so that I can get my life back and have quality time with my family again, in work and play…

But at 61, with the stress of running a mid-size non-for-profit and after serious back issues and stopping smoking twice (this time 16 months and very permanent) I’m ready to get back into tennis shape again. It’s exactly what we need, what I need to wipe out that nasty stubborn fat on ‘the belly’, that stucks on my body for 20 years, after I get chubby as a little boy (due to so long-lasting problems with health and the medicines taken), and destroys my chance to really enjoy the effects of years of hard-working for my abs and all the muscles. And it’s so uplifting that I don’t have to loose my muscles for ‘cutting’! Thanks a looooot!

FACT:I’m totally out of shape and overweight. PROBLEM: I’m entering beach football tournament after 45 days and I need to get those 6packs and fast. ANSWER: XFLD!! Joel i am a 24 year old photographer and have been gyming and struggeling loosing vat and building some muscle, i have droped since January from 102kg and i way 92 kg no but i am stuck.
