Obviously i want to loose weight. I believe in your program that this will help me if i will incorporate it in my workout.

Actually I’m not sure why your program would be the best for me but having got to almost 50 yrs of age and still not being able to get under 90kgs which impacts on my arthritis and my ability to get around with the 5 grandchildren I now have to care for, I need to find SOMETHING that works for me. A 3yr old really doesn’t understand why I cannot run with him all day and play the games he wants to play…and I tell him I’m old (LOL) but he just doesn’t get it eh. So yes, I would like the opportunity to see if this would work for me. Thanks

I am a 47-year old pre-veterinary college student (my 6th year full-time). I am seriously into physical fitness and health. I try to set the best example for my fat friends, but so far they don’t follow it. If I could get in the kind of shape that you and your buddies are in maybe that would change.

Financially, I am destitute. I receive a total of $18,000 before about $6000 is taken out for the cost of books and school. The meds I have to take total $200 per month and my rent is over $300. I also have three cats that I take exceptional care of (they eat science diet and are vaccinated every year, along with dental cleanings, etc.) I haven’t owned a car in 17 years (I ride a mountain bike, even in the winter) and I live in a camp trailer in an RV park.

I already buy whey protein and take supplements like krill oil and coQ10. Obviously, I barely have enough left for food, so being able to purchase your program is not an option for me. I have lost 50 pounds over the last three years (about 30 to go) and I do all the stuff you post for free: cheat day, depleting glycogen stores pre-cheat day, and fast/workout on the day that follows. I am ready to take it to the next level with your complete program. I have to stay super healthy if I am going to graduate from vet school at the age that most retire. Thanks Joel.

Hello Joel, I have been a fairly active through my life with sports. I am 35 yrs old I seemed to have gained a lot of weight in the past 2 years. I am a skeptic on most of these programs , seems like it’s very backwards from everything I have learned in fitness and sports. I would like to try this program and see if it would really work, and put it to the test. You have some different angles, sounds like something I would do is something extreme. Why I need this program at this point in my life? To be honest I have wasted so much money on “miracle” pills and treatments to loose the fat and every time again I got so disappointed. Fortunately all those disappointments made me realise that there are no miracle solutions. In the end it comes down to will power and having a plan , AND following it! My heaviest weight was 140 kg. My weight has always been up and down, though recently I managed to get down to 81 kg. I have become so disheartened as I am now back to 112 kg. I am constantly trying to learn the best way to lose the weight and keep it off. From years of dieting I know my metabolism is ruined. Hi there :) I am a 31 year old devoted wife and mother of 3. Over the years of (literally) spoiling my family with all the ‘good’ cooking and baking Ive put on way more weight than is comfortable. The worst thing about it is that, for my age, I am way too tired, unhealthy and unmotivated than I should be. Ive tried a a lot of different avenues to be healthier, all turning out the same way. Unsuccessful. I have put so much time and effort into making my family happy, now I would like to invest some real time and energy into my own health and fitness – which would actually benefit all of us anyway. I deserve it but am so fed up with fad diets and silly exercise machines that promise results but dont deliver that Ive almost given up. I will not say that I look bad but not the best. My goal is to be fit by 40 and that means losing about 60lbs to get back to 145lbs. I don’t need to be tiny, but strong is great… and at 145 I’d be a machine! The difficulty is finding time in my busy schedule- I work a full-time job, go to school on the weekends, am helping to start a community co-op, volunteer with local museums… So weight gain and retention is linked to stress- and exercise relieves stress- but I don’t seem to have time. I also crave carbs. I’ve put myself on an extremely reduced carb & sweet diet for almost a year now and the cravings never cease. I just need a kick start and a kick in the butt.

I recently moved (from South Africa). I now live in Namibia, 150km from the nearest (very small) town. The larger town, where you can actually do decent grocery shopping, is about 220km away. The nearest tar road is 120km away. We live on a farm with no electricity. We have running water via a windpump and tank. Don’t feel sorry for me – it’s seriously awesome… but…

Ever tried losing that last few kg’s of bellyflab when you can only shop every 2-3 weeks, so pretty much everything is frozen? The vegetable patch and free range chickens are coming along, but are not quite there yet. At least the meat here is also free-range.

Excercise is fun – I have kettlebells, clean air, a bicycle, open space and imagination – what more do you need? I usually do a combination of KB’s, jogging, cycling (jogging and cycling with the aid of my dogs) and body weight excercises.

I have a two-pack (only just). I know with your help I can make it a six-pack. I’ll even send you before and after pictures. Also, me and my wife are thinking of starting a family. She’s also in pretty good shape, but maybe a bit of a cut-back just before the weight gain starts will help her out. Especially when it gets time to lose the “baby fat” again.

Well….., as embarrasing as it is, I find myself thinking about training and talking about training and fatloss with everybody else and then in end of the day I am putting my ass in the sofa watching TV. I am not an obese guy and never was but age and good eating is starting to catch up. Looking at the information you sent over the last weeks, I think this really could help to trigger my motivation and get fit for the summer. (my wife is Brazilian so it would be nice to be able to match her looks!!!)

Honestly, I’m in pretty good shape, I used body for life, IF, VDelmontes program, Tom Venutos program, and a bunch of others but I’ve only been able to get in decent,just in good condition,I eat healthy, I count calories, I’m probably at about 13% bodyfat and I’m looking for an edge, a temporary plan to get me to 10% and below. Never seen my abs before and I’d like to finally meet them before I turn 39 this year. haha. I have great discipline when it comes to programs and I finish what I start. Ive been lifting since college and I know my way around gyms and the percent macronutients to take in. So honestly, whether it’s because I’m an endomorph or just have a slow metabolism, I would like to reach my true physical potential. I have tone, but I want to look vascular and dense with visible six pack and from what I’ve read so far is your program can do that for me and then I can go on more of a maintenance plan. The chick factor is great and all but I really just want this for me. Okay , okay I like the added attention from chicks alright, I said it. im not the type of person to bash anything without trying it or experiencing it first. ive done this through out with regards to my training. i know there are alot of BS programs out there but ive gone through some of these in order to actually figure out what works best for me. im in a point now were in im in a groove with my training. i understand what i need to do in order to get better and stronger. nutrition wise, im still learning. to be quite honest i have my doubts about your program because its kinda diff from alot of whats out there. this is exactly why i wanna give it a shot so i can make my own assesment on it. thanks!

You can imagine that the combination of the above obviously led to a steady increase in weight over the past 4 years (especially the little tyre around the middle). Reflecting over my life I realized that this is the time to wake up and smell the coffee – loose the weight now, or live with it. Living with it is NOT an option! Please dont get me wrong – I am not grossly overweight but need to shape up and get rid of about 10kg if I can. My whole life i have been obsessed with my weight and apperance, unlike others i have taken it to the extreme and I almost took my own life as i was so disgusted with the way I looked and needed medical attention.
