I’ve always been in decent shape however I just can’t seem to get into that super lean below 10% body fat region. I’ve tried many different things and I’d see some results however after some time my body fights back and makes it hard for me to see consistent results. It’s frustrating and I need avenues of reaching a super lean physique.
My fiance and I are healthy, relatively fit people in our early 40’s. We brisk walk for at least half an hour a day and we watch what we eat, but neither of us have been able to achieve our ideal, beach bodies shall we say, by either managing our diet, or doing tons of exercise.
Neither of us want to be supermodels, we just want to achieve a healthy, lean body, and loose the fat around the middle and really tone up.
Following mainstream advice doesn’t seem to work and for me personally I have trouble gaining any decent muscle mass doing mainstream things. I am a busy mother of five. Over the past 10 years I have seen my weight increase and my health deteriorate. My time is limited, so the short workouts sound great. I feel that it is now or never for me to get back in shape and health.
I have lost weight and put on weight, added muscle and fat – the roller coaster. I have followed a primal type of eating with success for over a year, BUT, it get’s a bit restrictive and not conducive with enjoying family get togethers and kids birthdays and those weekends when I want to eat out. And at 43 years old I would love a method that can be used whenever I need it to lose those pounds that snuck up on me. I am a guy who is very passionate for working out. It is what some people call their “special place” where there is nothing that can hurt you or get you down. That is working out for me. When life gets me down, I work out, and everything seems so much better. I truely love working out and have such a deep heart for it, I wish everybody wanted it as bad as myself. But, I can’t seem to loose any weight, which brings my self confidence down, and I can slowly see and feel my passion slipping away. I do my best to stay active and live a healthy lifestyle. I lift 4x a week and try to do cardio 2-3x per week. I have even attempted to create my own meal plans in a spreadsheet using the foods I have access to. My problem is that I just can’t seem to shed those last few pounds around my waist to obtain the figure that I’ve always wanted. I’ve researched for endless hours trying to create my own routine and diet that will work for me, but I don’t want to spend years experimenting if I could have access to a proven system. My drive and intensity in the gym has only produced limited benefits and I will do whatever it takes to reach my ideal physique that I can be proud of.
I’ve struggled with weight loss for years and a few months back my husband and I joined a gym. We eat clean and healthy and workout 5x a week. I feel great for the first time in my life and I love it except that no matter how hard I workout or how clean I eat I cannot seem to shed fat off my middle. I am a stay at home mom of two little girls, ages 4 and 2. I gained a quite a bit of weight with both of them. Well at this point in my life I’m getting up there in age and my metabolism has gone crazy…I use to not worry about what I eat, but now it seems like just looking at food puts the pounds on. So I’ve never had to diet, but am now looking into a sensible way to keep in shape. This program looks like it will do the trick. I’d like to lose at least 25 lbs in the next 2 months as my husband is working out of town and i would love to surprise him when he gets home. I’m not afraid to work hard and commit myself to this program.
I have always been a pretty fit guy, playing various sports throughout my life and I still play in a couple different basketball leagues. Within the past 14 months I have gotten married and my wife has given birth to the second of our beautiful children. On February 23 I began a journey that scared me stiff but one I knew I had to go on. I weighed 310 pounds with several co-morbidities. I had gained and lost 120 pounds 3 times over the last 20 years – failure always in my face. I had lap band surgery on March 16/2011. I am now at 268 pounds on my way to a sustainable 190 pounds. I received a back and neck injury about four years ago. Unable to work out like I had been accustomed to, I gained about 40 pounds. I am 39 y/o, father of 3, happily married, and just recently started going out of a boring routine of moderate intesnity cardio exercise, and trying my luck on Metabolic resistance training. My weight has been on a yoyo-coaster ride all my life. But since doing the bodyweight exercise, I have been losing inchest and toning my muscles, but seem not getting over the big humps/tire around my waste. I used to be in the military and Extremely athletic. After being out for nearly 11 yrs now and having taken a job as a consultant that travels a great deal, I find myself….well….a little heavier these these days (more that I like or care to admit). I still try to stay somewhat active but it is very difficult when you are sitting on planes half the time. I’ve tried many times and many ways to lose the weight, I dream of being able to run around and play with my kids to take them to the park, without feeling embarrassed and out of breath, throw a ball around and be able to have fun with them while they are young. Why would it benefit me I am planning a comeback to Aussie rules football at age 37. My weight weight ballooned out to 98 Kg this summer and since then been on the Fat Belly Solution and now down to 82 kg and feeling great.
To reach my goals I need to get down to around 72kg and continue to strengthen my core, looking to work with some of Mike Gearys strategies but need shed the extra kilos fast such that I can continue to build the lean muscle and fitness.
Your concept of the cheat days sound cool and Roman is certainly convinced. It would would be awesome to run through this cycle a couple of times over the next 6 months and really hit the footy field with an impact for the 2012 season.

This program will be a good star on healthy life for my family. Personally I eat healthy and exercise. But my family don’t share the same life, my sister, twin to be exact, want to lose weigh but lac of self restrain since she love’s to eat and want to star doing exercise, to get lean, but doesn’t know what to do. When she heard about this program she said”Look for more information, i like the way the guys look and how fast he lost weight”(she’s talking about the one in your update’s). This goes the same way for my mother and father. REASON: MY FAMILY…did i mention my sister and me want lean muscle for are abs.
