I am 45 years old and in the best shape of my life. I was a lot heavier and had a lot more fat mass vs the muscle mass that I now have. Two and a half years ago I joined the gym and it’s been a struggle. Not the motivation but the technique. I have gotten daily workouts into my routine and it’s now a part of my life. I actually feel bad if I miss one of my workout days. Although my doctor thinks I’m in great shape I want to go that extra mile and not only have good muscle structure and health. I want to be ripped and shredded. I look very good when I’m working out but look a little softer the next morning until I work out again. A lot of my success is due to trial and error. I can do what I have been doing and maintain what I have but that is not what I want. I want to be so much more. I want to be on the cover of one of the fitness magazines or at least look like one of the models on the cover. I need a plan to break through my plateau. The proven motivation is there but I am tired of trial and error. I want to go all the way and I am looking for the perfect plan to take me there. Will the 1000 Calorie be the program for me?

I used to be in great shape. Then I had 3 kids. Now everything jiggles. No matter what I try it doesn’t work. In December I turn 40. I told myself that I plan on being in the best shape ever this year!!! My husband is a personal trainer and is well-known and loved by all! However, he and I don’t work well together when he trains me. In fact I want to punch him in the head most times!!! :) Therefore I won’t work out with him. I’ll do things on my own but he always says they won’t work. He’s been right so far which is FRUSTRATING! Reading all of the information regarding the 1,000 calorie challenge – it sounds PERFECT for me! I love to work out hard and thrive with clear and concise directions! Let’s prove my hubby wrong together!!!! :)

Thanks!
Melinda

My name is Vince I’m 20 years old and I’m almost 400lb and I just can’t lose any weight no metter how hard I try because I do mma training I go running and to the gym and nothing works

woweeee! look at the amount of the comments??!!! and here is another one! cause I too believe you guys got a good thing goin’ on!!! I want 2 be working in the fitness industry sooooo bad and I hope 2 do so beginning next spring. The thing is that I actually want to look and move like the outstanding fitnesspro I know is in me….I only need a plan…a great plan that’s goin’ to help me to get me there…and I got a feelin’ (woooohoooo..lol) that your 1,000 Calorie Challenge System can do that for me for sure!! It looks like pain, torture, effective and yet still fun at the same time…thats just how i like my work outs to be…so i’m ready….i am so READY!! :-)

I tried the 600kcal workout this past week…it was fannn-tastic! My favorite activity to do (besides the obvious feel good one) is to exercise. Unfortunately, almost all of my time is spent doing my least favorite things: driving 4 hours a day in traffic, putting in work hours at home, researching how to fight the peri-menopause monster that has reared its swollen head recently, and recovering from the fatigue incurred from these ‘LFTs’.
I believe in your program. I believe that, as followed, it will help to transform my outer self to match my inner vision of myself. I believe that it is a program designed by someone(s) who have my best health interests: this is not a make money scam. With these beliefs, I am thankful that this program was developed and thankful that I will get to ‘lean-ify’ and ‘de-stress-ify’ myself through implementing it.

@ Joel Marion:
I am a 30 yr old male who trains hard. I was active duty military who needed to keep in shape and now currently in the national guard fire dept. I’ve noticed myself becoming less lean as yrs go by as does most. I’ve tried the example workout that was sent to us and it rocked my world. I felt out of shape but as the week went on, I could still feel the burn. I look for more challenging workouts. In the past I lifted weights two times a day and bulked up, but I wanted to get lean and toned. I could never get the body I wanted in the past .Through this 1000 cal. workout I believe it is possible and I am always willing to go to extremes to get it done. I eat protein and veggies every meal to help increase the fat burning. I am currently 200lbs and 5’11” and want to be back down to 180lbs and lean (less than 14% body fat) I could really use this workout to help other firefighters in the service as well. thank you and hope to hear from you again.

Hi Joel and Arnel,

I am in SUCH NEED of this program! I am about 20 lbs overweight, 41 yr old single father and I run my own business and NEED SO BADLY to get back in shape. I am tired of being SINGLE and alone and I make excuses about my shape keeping me from getting back to the dating scene – HELP ME!!!

I have been trying to commit to a program (work out a few times a week this last month) but have yet to do it with any real enthusiasm because I kept making excuses like, I don’t have the time or know-how to put into a diet, I am not ready because life is too hectic, I will start next week, etc. etc.

BUT with that said, if I had a GOOD program to follow and a mentor to lean on, I WOULD DO IT! YOU HAVE MY WORD!

HELP ME PLEASE – HELP ME GET MY LIFE BACK!!!

Well I’ll be honest – I don’t NEED the system but I WANT the system.

Needs can be explained. I need oxygen to live. Wants cannot. You want something because you want it. You developed the system because you wanted to. You certainly didn’t NEED to. I want the system.

I want what this system provides. It provides a full, longterm, workout plan. I manage to keep myself in reasonable shape by being active (and some exercise) but it does not have focus nor direction.
Lets step back and do some math. I’m guessing you will have 3000+ entries to distribute 30 free copies. That’s 1 in a 100. Out of a 100 people I will not be the least in shape. I’m not that bad off without this system.
…but if you WANT somebody that will take advantage of very little bit of info and stick with the system for the long run then I am your guy.

I want the system.

My weight has ballooned since I fractured my ankle earlier this year and was unable to exercise at the gym for 4 months. During that time my weight went from 169 lbs to 205 lbs.I am desparate to lose those 45 lbs and get back to where I was for the sake of my health. My blood pressure has gone up due to the increased weight and my energy level has decreased. I really need this program to get my life back!!!

My husband is as excited about this program as I am. Can’t wait to learn more about it.

Joel,

I want to lose the last few inches around my mid section. Your program can help me do that.

Thanks,
Hunter

Joel, I’ve been a loyal reader of yours for some time now. I started out at 205 lbs and 22% body fat but by following your XFLD and Cheat Your Way Thin, I’m now down to 160 and 7% bf! My goal for myself is to get absolutely shredded and get down to 4% and having tried the sample 600 calorie workout, I know for a FACT that this will be what takes me over the top! I’ve plateaued and this will help me bust through! Thanks Joel!

I am a 48 year old female in pretty good shape. The problem is that as we age we lose muscle and the metabolism seems to have slowed. I am eating smaller and portions with the same results. Also, as we age we can’t put as many hours into a workout, the body needs more time to recover so I need to find a way to get more bang for my buck and lose this last bit. The longer it stays around the harder it is to remove, I would like to enter into my 50’s in the best shape ever and make the younger gals hate me :-) Just kidding. But I want to set a good example for my daughters that we are never too old.

In the past 2 1/2 years I have gained almost 30 lbs due to a lack of inactivity from surgery that I had done to my wrist for tendinitis and last year breaking my ankle. I feel extremely uncomfortable with this extra weight and it is causing me back pains. The worst part of all, is that because of the sudden weight gain in such a short period of time, I ended up with very high blood pressure. My most recent visit to my doctor had me at 180/125. It has since come down with medication, but my doctor has said that I should take up an exercise program to get my weight back down again. Once I am able to get rid of the 30 lbs that I gained in 2 years, my blood pressure will come down naturally. I have been an active person all my life until I suffered these 2 recent setbacks. I would like to do this 1,000 calorie workout so that in several months, I can be in the best shape of my life when I get married to the most fascinating, most incredible woman that I have ever known. Thank You.

Cheers.
John

Joel & Company: I’m now 66.9 years old (ugh!) but I’ve always been in great shape most of my life and that was enhanced by being a member of the United States Army Rangers in Vietnam (67-68) as an enlisted man, being assigned as a Ranger officer to a JSOC command in Central America between 1971 and 1974 then being in law enforcement in San Francisco after that for 5.6 years and having the good fortune of my former wife being the manager of an upscale health club in the marina district of San Francisco!

Unfortunately though, my body has fallen into disrepair and want to get as closely back to the shape I’ve always been in when by body was a temple, as opposed to now, as it’s turned into a Temple of Doom!

I have also availed myself of your free program(s) and have also purchased others, I am disciplined and really want to lose the gut and “love handles” (I’m currently at 262 buck naked) and am ready to go forth with your further teaching so that I DO lose the unnecessary weight and keep it off!

I just had my left shoulder fully replaced on June 21st (from far too many jumps out of perfectly good military aircraft) and am having the right one done on December 14th at the V.A. Hospital at Ft. Miley in San Francisco. I’ve also been going to outpatient Physical Therapy for my left one so that I might again be able to raise my left arm over my head and that seems to be working as long as I do the home exercises that have been prescribed for me, which I am.

Although I think I’m a fairly sensible eater, I sometimes slip, so it is for all of the aforementioned reasons that I think I would be an excellent candidate for your 1000 Calorie Challenge System program and would appreciate your consideration for same.

Thanks much and, besides that, I can spell too, LOL! Best, Bob S.

I have always been health and took care of my body, at least that is what I thought. I have significant heart disease and diabetes on both sides of my family. I have struggled with high triglycerides for the past 15 years. I read some recent studies that say that high triglycerides causes a host of problems, especially in men. I am 6′ 3″ and weigh 223. I went to the doctor and he said that you need to loose 15 of body fat in the next 3 months. I tried some of the techniques that Joel has taught me over the past several days and I have lost about 2% body fat already. My dad died when he was 50 and I would like to live much longer. I hope I win so I can “save my own life”

Thank for creating this!

U’r the best..!
that’s how I’ll start the reply :]
I’ll been receiving ur mails and I love them.. yeah, absolutely..
I mean all the other guys have said most of the stuff I wanted to tell, so
I really hope I’ll be getting the 1.000 Calorie Challenge System for free..

Honesty from my side.. I’m not fat at all, I’m exactly in the shape I wanna be.. but, it’s amazing how u put some tactics that blow audience’s mind away, [put me in that list too].. “Fat Loss Secrets Exposed” was amazing.. the way u wrote it, the ‘defensive mechanisms’.. everything is perfect..

I am now 52 years old, and in the worst shape of my life! I just had a second rotator cuff surgey 6 months ago. The first was a year ago. That has tied me up as far as working out, not to mention the time I’ve had to just sit and graze for the past year. I used to work construction, masonry and concrete mostly, so my diet was never an issue as I would always expend more that I took in. In fact I was looking for ways to gain weight. My poor diet has certainely shown up in my appearance, over the past year. Please help

I am 35 years old, and weigh 220lbs at only 5 ft tall. When I graduated from high school I was 123 lbs. I am literally twice the person I used to be and it creates such unbearable self hatred. Self hatred because I was the one who did this to me. I am fully responsible for my binge eating and physical laziness! I am tired of who I have become and I need to shed this second person that has grown around me and change my life. I do not want to die young. I do not want to keep hating myself. This program will save my life and I am ready to commit. I am ready to live again!

Hi I think this program would be great for me for I have been trying to lose weight for the longest time now and I just can’t take it any longer. My own family makes fun of me for not being able to get any boyfriends because of my weight and I’m just tired of it. Even my ex best friend betrayed me and is now going out with the guy that i really like. I’ve ben even thinking about buying herba life because i don’t know what else to do. This is why I think this program would be great at this time of my life. I would thank you for the rest of my life if i do win this free copy of your program. Thank you
