I’ve recently lost around 7stones…. i have alot of stubborn belly fat and excess skin, and really want this to go and get a sexy six pack… have been doing arnels workouts which are awesome and am putting on good muscle size, but my belly just doesnt go! Hey, Joel, I am a 67 year old grandmother, who has lost 17llbs since July 31, 2010. My BMI is now at 31.4 so I am obese. Seventeen lbs sounds pretty, but I want my life and health back sooner than later! At the rate I am going will take me 36 weeks to reach my goal. I’m currently a detective and a SWAT Team Leader in CT. Approximately 3 years ago I was involved in a shooting which resulted in me being confined to a desk assignment. I’m desperatley trying to lose my weight as at the moment I’m the fattest I’ve ever been (120 kilos). I’ve lost my job few months ago and this seems to have made it even worse as I spend a lot of time at home not feeling particularly good about myself. I know the basic equation for weight loss is calories in vs. calories burned. I’ve eaten well for a while and work out regularly and have lost some weight but have plateaued recently. This multi-faceted approach sounds like it could kick-start my weight loss again. Let’s see if this program works!

I am a 20-year-old college student. I have been overweight my entire life, and I’ve recently came to a conclusion that I need to change my eating and exercise habits. I’ve lost a few lbs and 2 pants sizes by exercising and starting to eat well. Through this process, I have managed to gain some self-esteem. However, I feel that eventually, what I do now will not be as effective. I have my whole life ahead of me, and I want to live a healthy one, and if your program can give me that opportunity and be a program that I can use for the rest of my life, I would definitely appreciate it.

I am a 44-year-old teacher who has chosen to stay at home in order to raise my 4-year-old adopted daughter. I also have a 14-year-old son, which my husband and I adopted at 8 years old. Everything that I have read about the 1,000-calorie challenge system seems to fit my lifestyle and I would love to give it a try. I have also been diagnosed with having an inherited value problem in the veins of my legs. I currently have 3 defective valves in the right leg and 1 main defective valve in my left leg. My Vein Specialist just told me a few days ago that I need to loose weight and I told him I have been trying for the past 8 years to loose weight. I want to set an example for my children especially my daughter who is also showing signs that she is predisposed to weight problems.

After two pregnancies, one of which produced twins, my short frame and previous petite build has turned into a momma body. I’m recently divorced and unable to face myself in the mirror. After 10 years of marriage and gaining approximately 1 kilo a year, my previously in shape ballet body now looks like a marshmallow – I’ve gone from 48kg to 60kg and its all blubber :)

In addition I’ve been diagnosed with insulin resistance, a precursor for diabetes 2 – and I know that one of the best ways to beat this apart from eating properly, is exercise.

I joined our local gym yesterday in preparation to turn my body – and hopefully life – around, but I definitely need a plan to follow! I’m one of those people who feel like everybody is laughing at me in the gym, just walking around with the sales consultant gave me the jitters. Rationally I know that the other gym goers have better things to do than watch me, but the feeling is there! I think I need a major focus on what to do and how to do it, otherwise I’ll be spending money on that membership and never going!

I’m turning 35 in 6 weeks’ time and at this point the only thing that will get me to my target on time is the 1000 calorie challenge!

Joel i came across your work when i heard a video you and vince made on Build Muscle without Fat. Since that video i have become a great fan of yours! the way u talked gave me big inspiration and i though wow he’s my man! so i downloaded your rapid fat loss training and have began the FBFL workout two weeks ago. It’s soooo great! i love it soo much! my energies have gone up so much and i have become so confident as i am busting my ass working out. I have been reading all your emails since the video presentation and when i saw your 1000 calorie challenge i have not stopped thinking about it. it sounds soo great! and i have all my trust in your word that it is as efficient as you say it is. I’ve been thinking about what to write since you mentioned you were giving some away because i am so thrilled to begin this program but i don’t have the money to purchase it at the time. The reason why i can relate to your workouts so much is because i spend 3 or 4 hours at the gym trying to burn a good 800 calories a day so i can stay fit. over the last year i developed a bad eating habitat. “binge eating” and i have only seen myself get bigger. unfortunately, i still haven’t found the solution to stop it and therefore my only hope is to burn huge amounts of calories at the gym so i don’t gain soo much weight and become obese. When i started your FBFL program i got to c how much work it takes of me to complete my workouts and it has given me the motivation to want to stop the binge eating. so i know if I’m at the gym burning 1000 calories per workout i wont want to binge when i get home. because i know they are intense workouts. I really love working out and all the aspects of fitness. so much Im studying to major in it. but it frightens me that i wont make it because of the binging. :(. I’ve been struggling with my weight for my entire life. I’ve tried a slew of different diets, some proving to be total disappointments, but I have had some success, but the way of eating was not sustainable and I’d eventually end up gaining large amounts of weight back. I know now that dieting is not the answer, it takes healthy eating and a good exercise program, which is what I’m looking for. I am really looking forward to this program. I know it won’t be easy – but hard work pays off, and I know the great results will provide some awesome motivation to get my butt moving and get into the best shape of my life. I have been reading about your great new program. It looks really great! I am a 40 years old and I have been steadily gaining weight for the last 10 years. The harder I try to lose weight the more impossible it seems to be. I have tried everything from crash diets to grueling exercise routines. Sadly, nothing works. I am tired of being fat! Hi guys, my name is Chris and I am a twenty year old college student in New York. So far I have managed to keep off the infamous “freshman fifteen” thanks to the fact that I was I was a highly competitive collegiate rower for my first two years. Unfortunately I have stopped rowing to focus on my academics and work, but I am already starting to feel weak, even though I exercise about three to four days a week. This past week I completed the 600 calorie sample workout and can honestly say that it gave me a run for my money and I am looking forward to the 1,000 calorie workouts. During high school and college I was always pushed by my teammates and coaches, but now without that push I find myself slacking on workouts. I expect the 1000 calorie workout to show me the path to maintain my level of fitness attained from rowing; and once I know how to proceed there will be no backing down.

As a wife and mother of 5, our family needs your simple effective information. My husband is embarrassed to get in a swim suit and the rest of us are water babies. We have recently started changing to healthy foods, now we need to add a workout that doesn’t include walking all over the neighborhood. Not all of us can fit on the treadmill and it’s darn cold outside here in Alaska. From the previous e-mails it looks like we can do this as a family at home. I am 65 years of age. I am very much interested in trying your revolutionary system. I have been fighting overweight since the end of my military career. I have lower back pain, hip replacement and have a problem with my right knee, which needs total knee replacement. I had total knee on my left knee in 1999. I live in the Midwest, and I’m 25 years old. I enjoy working out and keeping my body as healthy as possible. Not only that, but I’m always looking for something to challenge me. Nowadays though I’ve been having a hard time losing my last pounds of fat around my waist and I hope that this 1,000 calorie challenge will be the type of workout I’ve been looking for to do just that. This 1,000 calorie workout is definitely going to be worthwhile!

I am a frazzled college kid trying to balance out the hours in a day. I have been overweight the majority of my life, trying diet after diet to lose the weight. i have been only somewhat successful in that the weight eventually starts to creep off but always settles back again. I am tired of being depressed when i look in the mirror or go shopping, hoping for cold weather so i can hide my body, and your challenge seems just the thing to kick me into gear. I want to make myself proud of myself, achieve that sense of accomplishment after a workout and have that feeling last at the end of the day. I’m tired of hiding myself, and i believe this program will help me shine.

As a college student, highly committed and motivated to be the best I can be, I always strive to give my 110%. However, as time is obviously limited due to ongoing study sessions and work shifts, I do not have the kind of leisurely pleasure that I had during summer or winter break. As a result, keeping in shape has become a lot harder, however manageable, considering I take priority in making sure I do not slack on staying as healthy as I can. Which is why this program seems so perfect for my life, as of now, because as I keeping read more and more into this amazing package of assorted tips and tricks/workouts, I realize that having access to such an outstanding means of staying in shape will be most beneficial and help me get back and to stay in the best shape of my life.

I am a 49 year old woman. I have been exercising for about 7 years now, ever since I quit smoking. I had lost 35lb a few years ago, and felt great. In the past 2 years I have gained it all back. About a month and a half ago, I started drinking a quart of green smoothie a day. I cannot lose weight no matter what I do.
